Let’s worship our God,
the One who has made Nigeria
a miracle. Let’s worship him…. Holy, holy, holy, holy is the Lord…. Let’s just
go ahead and worship the Almighty God, let’s bless Him, let’s magnify His holy
Name, He’s worthy to be praised, He’s worthy to be adored, let’s magnify His
holy Name! Blessed be Your Holy Name! Thank You Father! You are worthy to be
praised! You are worthy to be adored! You are worthy to be magnified! We praise
You! We praise You! You are worthy to be praised! You are worthy to be
magnified! You are worthy to be adored! There is no one like You! Take all
glory Father! Take all adoration! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Lord! Baba, baba,

The Lord said there is
someone here tonight, your miracles which have been delayed for years shall be
given to you tonight! (Amen!)
The Lord is healing
someone with backache right now. The Lord is healing someone of kidney problem
right now. Thank You Father! Thank You Father! The Lord is correcting the sight
of someone right now. Someone came here tonight nose bleeding that had been
there for seven years. The Lord has stopped it now. There is none holy as the
Lord, there is none beside Him, neither is there anyone like our God, there is
none holy as the Lord……
The Lord is healing
someone of hernia right now. The Lord said there’s someone here tonight, you’ve
lost hope that you can ever become anything in Nigeria. The Lord said He will
surprise you this month. (Amen!) Ese baba, awa dupe o, ese baba, awa ……
The Lord said there is
someone here, your enemies are so close you could feel their breathing on your
back. The Lord asked me to tell you, He is also breathing down their back
(Amen!) Angels are singing, you are worthy O Lord….Go ahead, worship Him! You
are worthy Lord! You are worthy Lord! You are worthy Lord! You are worthy Lord!
You are worthy Lord!… Thank You Lord!
I want you to quietly get
up and sit down. We don’t know the direction the Holy Spirit is leading now but
the Lord says that He is going to give someone an anniversary present today.
(Amen!) He said, if only we can just worship Him with complete abandon, He will
show Himself mighty in our midst tonight. You are worthy Lord! You are worthy
Lord! You are worthy Lord! You are worthy Lord! You are worthy Lord!…
Thank You Lord! Blessed
be Your Name Lord! Thank You Jesus! Now the Lord says, He’s going to heal 7000
people tonight. (Amen!) Now listen to me brethren….the healing wind of God is
already blowing and this is what I want you to do: When He says He’s going to heal
7000 people He didn’t say, at the end of the service. He means, now. Thank You
Father! Therefore as we continue to worship Him now you begin to check your
bodies and when you check and you find that you are one that had been healed,
then quietly come forward towards the altar. The world is going to see tonight
that we are serving the living God. (Amen!) You are worthy Lord! You are worthy
Lord! You are worthy Lord! …Angels are singing “You are worthy, O Lord! You are
worthy O Lord”…Magnify the Lord with me, Let us praise His Name together……Thank
You Lord! Thank You Lord! Let’s go ahead, let’s keep on worshipping Him. You
are high and lifted up there is no one like you, Alle, Alle, Alle.
Alleluia….Jehovah, you are the most high, you are the most high God…..
The Lord says that the
healing stream that has started here tonight will flow throughout Nigeria.
Father, we just want to
bless you. What a wonderful way to start. We know that tonight will be
wonderful. (Amen!) We know that from tonight onward it will be wonderful for Nigeria.
(Amen!) Glory be to Your Holy Name! (Alleluia!) Now these your children that
have received these unexpected miracles, let the miracles last forever. (Amen!)
And we use them as a point of contact for the rest of those who are here who
might still be sick. Before this night is out Father, heal everybody! (Amen!)
Heal Nigeria
(Amen!) And let your Name be glorified. The Lord said those of you who have
been healed, just you alone, shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!) Now those who are sure
that before they leave here tonight they too will have a testimony, let them
shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!) In Jesus mighty Name it shall be so.

Well what a wonderful way
to start. I’m sure you know that tonight we have a special Holy Ghost Service
for Nigeria.
God decided to start us off healing some 7000 people. Glory be to God!.
Exodus 14 verses 13-18
and then 27-28. Thank You Father!
The Lord said there is someone
in the congregation who is weeping. The Lord asked me to tell you, wipe off
your tears, there’s no need any more to cry. (Amen!)
Ex 14:14-18 (KJV)
And Moses said unto the
people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he
will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall
see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall
hold your peace. And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me?
speak unto the children of Israel,
that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over
the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground
through the midst of the sea. And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the
Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh,
and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. And the
Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon
Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
verse 27:
And Moses stretched forth
his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning
appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the
Egyptians in the midst of the sea. And the waters returned, and covered the
chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea
after them; there remained not so much as one of them.
One day the Almighty God
looked into the family of a man who is an idol worshipper and picked a young man
who was 75 years old. He said unto him, “Abraham!” He said, “Lord, I’m here!” I
want you to get out of your father’s house, get out of your kindred and go to a
land I will show you. Then I will bless you, I will make you great, I will make
your name great. I will make you a blessing. Any one who blesses you I will
bless. Anyone who curses you , I will curse. And through you the whole earth
will be blessed. At that time Abraham was barren and the wife was 65 years old
but he believed with God all things are possible. But then year after year
nothing happened, the wife instead of getting pregnant, got older. So one day
God said, “Abraham!” He said, “Yes, Lord?” “Can you count the stars in the
sky?” “No Lord.” “So shall your children be.” Abraham laughed. “God, when you
said that to me 25 years ago, I believed you. Now I’m almost a hundred., my
wife is almost 90. Let’s stop this joke.” The Bible said he laughed so much
that he fell on his face! God said, ”Abraham? You are laughing at me. I am the
Almighty. There is nothing I cannot do. I would have killed you today but if I
kill you my promise would not be fulfilled. What I will do is this: what I said
I will do for you I will do. But these your children that you are going to have
they will go into slavery and serve a strange nation for four hundred years.
That will teach you to laugh at me!”
You know the rest of the
story. Isaac came. Put of Isaac came Jacob. Out of Jacob came the twelve
fathers. Joseph went to Egypt.
Jacob and the sons followed him. They had some brief period of enjoyment and
then another king arose that did not know Joseph and the 400 years of hardship
began. But God said, they will serve a foreign nation for four hundred years
but the day they finally left Egypt
according to Exodus 12:41 they had served Egypt for 430 years. Now why extra
30? That’s one important point I want us to think about tonight..
Because even though the
time God said they would be free had come they didn’t cry to God for freedom.
They didn’t seek God the way they should seek Him. They were still able to
tolerate the suffering. Nigeria
had been independent since 1960. Maybe by then all our problems should have
been over. But we are still .. the problem was still manageable until about 2
years ago. Then those who didn’t even know God began to cry to God. God said in
Deuteronomy 4:29 He said you will find me if you seek me with all your heart.
There is someone here today who will seek God with all his or her heart and you
will see God. I’ve told you before, as long as you are not tired of suffering
God is not going to do anything! If you can still tolerate the sickness; if you
still don’t mind one injection here or there, if you don’t mind a little bit of
pain, your prayer will not be the prayer of the desperate. And until you are
tired of suffering – when you know that no,no, no, I can’t continue, then you
will cry to God the way He should be cried to and that day He will answer.
After 30 extra years, Israel cried to
God: “O God this is enough!” And God heard their cry. God will hear your cry
tonight (Amen!) God will hear the cry of Nigeria tonight!. Bondage is
bitter. If you don’t believe that ask the children of Israel when they were under Egypt. they
wake up early, they sleep late. They work like nobody’s business. If they try
to stretch their back the horsewhip will land. And they work this hard, there’s
nothing to show for it. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 28:33 it says, it is a
curse to work for others to eat. All of you who are working for others to eat,
that curse will be broken in your life tonight. (Amen!) They were in bondage,
so they were working like elephants and eating like rats.
But there are other forms
of bondage. One could be rich and sick. That’s a terrible bondage too. Some
people have no food to eat. Now some people have the food but they have no
stomach to eat it in to. I’ve told you of a friend of mine – he’s dead now –
when he died, at the time of his death. He had over 260 million dollars in Australia, that’s not to count that of Switzerland, America
and Britain,
no I’m talking of the farthest you can go! But he couldn’t eat chicken. His
major food is milk, just drinking milk like a baby. I didn’t have a million
kobo but I can break the bone of any chicken! So to be rich and sick is
bondage.
These people in Egypt they were
in bondage they didn’t even know what their future is going to be like. Two
years ago none of us knew exactly what is in store for Nigeria except that God keeps
telling us, “Don’t worry, tomorrow will be all right! Don’t worry, tomorrow
will be all right!” Their children had no future! Until recently to tell the
truth there doesn’t seem to be a future for our children. But now we can boldly
say. ..I was young, now I am old, I have not seen the righteous forsaken nor
his children begging bread!
When we talk about Nigeria
brethren – I’m talking to you as a Pastor, I’m not a politician. I will never
be a politician because that’s not my calling. There are those who are called
to be politicians. We will pray for them. God will anoint them and He will use
them but I am called to be a Pastor and I know that the issue of Nigeria
is not the issue of North versus South, it has nothing to do with Muslims
versus Christians. No, no,no the problem of Nigeria
is the devil versus God’s plan for Nigeria. Because God has a mighty
plan for Nigeria.
Somebody said it years ago….he said, if you look at the map of Africa, it is
like a revolver and if you look where Nigeria is, that is where the trigger of
the gun is.,. Nigeria is the
trigger of Africa and when that trigger is
pulled what is going to come out of that gun is a revival that is going to go
round the whole world. Look at Africa very well – Nigeria is at the trigger. South Africa is
where the gun is going to explode. So you know why the devil has faced these
two nations for so long, trying to hold us under.
When our Universities are
being closed down it is not the North or South alone. When armed robbers begin
to evade they won’t know who is who. When you look at our streets and you see
highly educated prostitutes you know where they come from. You see the devil is
determined that the name of Nigeria
will stink all over the world. But he’s wasting his time. I said it to some of
my colleagues, some of my friends – those people who lift up my hands in the
ministry. I said I can guarantee you one thing, while I am still alive, not
when I am dead – a time is coming, you will land in a nation abroad, they will
notice that you are a Nigerian, they will bow. (Amen!) That is going to happen
before I die (Amen!) and the journey to that is what we call Lekki ’98 and you
will see greater things to come.
Bondage is bitter!
Brethren, many of us had been in bondage for a long time! But the time for
freedom has come. Freedom is sweet but there is no freedom without prosperity.
In Exodus 12 verses 35
& 36 the Bible says when the children of Israel
were about to leave Egypt,
God gave them favour. Tell your neighbour God will give you favour! God gave
them favour with the Egyptians, that they were able to take a lot of money away
from Egyptians. All the work they had been doing for 430 years they were paid
for it in one day! If you are poor, don’t let anybody deceive you, you are in
bondage. That’s why I’ve told you again and again, this year, I refuse to be
poor. I don’t know why God is constantly reminding me and He’s compelling me to
speak on prosperity. I can only guess that He wants to prosper some people.
(Amen!) There is nothing glorious in poverty. God made sure that when He took
His children out, He took them out with plenty of money and I have a very
strong suspicion that money is about to change hands (Amen!) That all those
that got my Father’s money illegally, some how, somehow, somehow that money is
going to change hands (Amen!) Are you going to get part of it? All right if you
are going to get part of it shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
There is no freedom
without health. that is why the Bible says in Psalm 105:37 it said when God
brought the children of Israel
out of Egypt
there is no feeble one among them. Every sickness they had they left behind
them in Egypt.
That is why I am prophesying to you tonight, any sickness that you brought here
you won’t take away in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!)
Now there is no freedom
without joy. Any one who is in sorrow, you cannot say that one is free. I think
the elders say that if there is no joy in the home, it doesn’t matter what is
happening in the town it will be like bush! The Bible says in Psalm 105 verse
43, it says when God brought His children out of Egypt, He brought them out with joy
and with gladness. When you go from here tonight it will be with joy and
gladness in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!)
That tells us something
straight away. That independence is not freedom. When Nigeria became
independent that does not necessarily mean that we became free. Independence simply means
‘I will govern myself.’ And if you go through the scriptures you will see a lot
of independent people who were full of problems.
The prodigal son for
example. He said to his father, “I don’t want to be under your authority any
more. Give me my own portion. I want to be independent.” You know the rest of
the story. .You read it in Luke 15. He wanted to be independent. Very soon he
was wearing rags. Very soon he was trying to eat the food that pigs were
eating. And when you read Mark 5:1-4 You see the mad man of Gadar there – he
was an independent man. The Bible says, nobody could bind him. You bind him
with iron, he would tear it away. He was independent but he wasn’t free. And
when you read 1 Samuel 16:1, 14 the Bible tells us about King Saul. He didn’t
want to be under the authority of God. God would give an order and he would do
hi s own and God finally said, “All right, all, right! You want independence?
Go ahead.” But you see the moment you say you don’t want to be under God , you
will have to be under something. The moment God withdrew from him, the Bible
said, an evil spirit took over. When the Prodigal says, ’I don’t want to be
under my father.’ he soon finds himself who was rearing pigs and would not even
pay him for working. If you read Hosea 4:17, the Bible says, there’s a young
man there called Ephraim, he didn’t want the control of God, so God said,
‘Ephraim has joined himself to idols, leave him alone. He wanted to be
independent, let him be independent.’ But by Hosea 5:9 God said, ‘Ephraim shall
be desolate.’
Brethren, true freedom is
in Christ alone. If you think you are free and you are not under Jesus Christ
you are deceiving yourself. The Bible says you shall know the truth and the
truth shall make you free. And Jesus Christ said, I am the Way, the Truth and
the Life so if you want to be free, you have to know me – the Truth. And the
Bible says in John 8:36, it says, if the Son shall set you free you shall be
free indeed. You suddenly discover that the moment you surrender to Jesus, not
only will you be free, He will make sure that your freedom is complete because
His freedom will include the prosperity that will make your freedom worthwhile.
The Bible says, the blessings of the Lord, it maketh rich, without adding
sorrows. The moment you surrender to Him, His stripes will be available for
your healing. And according to Nehemiah 8:10, it said, the joy of the Lord is
your strength. That’s why Jesus Christ said in Matthew 11:28-30, it said, Come
unto me all ye that labour and are heavy-laden and I will give you rest. If you
want true freedom, you will find it in Christ alone.
Now it is important to
note that no oppressor will let his victims go willingly. Nigeria needs
to know that. And you as an individual, you need to know that . The elders have
a saying: the palm kernel is not going to release its seed gently. When Moses
went to Pharaoh and said: “Thus says the Lord – let my people go!” That they
may serve me!” He said, “Who is the Lord? Why should I let Israel go?” In
Daniel 3: 14 & 15 Nebuchadnezzar said, “And who is that God that will
deliver you out of my hand?” But you see when God has killed the first born of
Pharaoh and shown Nebuchadnezzar that there is somebody who is the King of
Kings, it was then easy for the captives to be set free. There is only one
language the devil understands and that is the language of violence. Thank God
that we are where we are today. If we are going to retain our freedom we have
to deal with the devil. Our enemies are not human beings. Oh, we know the devil
had used some people but let’s fight the battle where it belongs. We are the
ones with the power to heal this nation Oh no, no, no, I’m not saying that we
are God. I’m saying that we know how to reach that God to get healings for our
nations.
The Bible says, the
weapons of our warfare are not carnal. The problem of Nigeria cannot
be solved with guns. If it can be solved with guns, it would have been solved
long ago. The problem of Nigeria
cannot be solved with protests. That’s not the solution. The solution is on our
knees because God said, “If my people who are called by my name will humble
themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways.” He said, “I will hear
from heaven and I will heal their land.” I know for sure, a time is coming,
when the whole of Nigeria
will be like Redemption Camp. (Amen!) When you can go and walk about at night
any time. You can keep your doors open if you want to. That time is coming very
soon. (Amen!) But we need to work. We need to know that at the slightest
opportunity the oppressor will want to bring back the victim into captivity.
You need to note that one.
Because Pharaoh had just
said to the children of Israel,
“You can go.” They’ve gone for about three days, then he woke up one day and
said, “Wait a minute! What have we done? We’ve let these people go? Why?” I’m
sure many of you who are really intelligent you will know what I’m saying. So
Pharaoh gathered his host together and said, “We must go and get them back!
After all they are trekking. We have horses and chariots. Let’s go and get
them!” The oppressor will not let the victim go willingly. When by one miracle
or another the victim has escaped, the oppressor will want to go and bring back
that victim into captivity. That’s why the Bible keeps saying, “Watch and
pray.” Nigeria,
watch and pray.
The beauty of it however
is this: If the oppressor tries to bring you back into captivity, you can
always cry to the One who delivered you initially. When Israel looked back and they saw the hosts of Israel coming,
the Bible said, they were sore afraid and they cried to God. The Almighty God
said in Psalm 50:15 He said, “Call on me in the day of trouble and I will
deliver you.” The Bible says in Isaiah 59:19, it says, “When the enemy comes in
like a flood, the spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him.”
Brethren, don’t let us stop praying. We are free now, we don’t want to lose our
freedom. And if we don’t want to lose our freedom we must continue to watch and
to pray.
Now when the children of Israel cried to God, they began to murmur
against Moses.., “Moses, didn’t we tell you to leave us in Egypt.” Now
they never said that, that’s a lie, they never said that, but whenever there is
any little trouble the fellow people will complain against is the leader: “We
told him: Eh, don’t you know him! He won’t listen to advice.” And they never
gave any advice at all. If everything is going well…..”Oh! Glory be to God! “
If there’s any problem: “It’s our leader!” When it is good. God takes the
credit. When it is bad, the leader gets the trouble! But it shouldn’t be so for
us Christians. We should be wiser – Romans 13:1: It says that all the powers
that be are ordained of God and John 3:27 it says no man can receive anything
unless it be given to him from above. That’s why the Bible says we must
constantly pray for those that are in authority. And that is why I want to use
this opportunity to appeal to all Nigerians, you can play your politics
whichever way you want. But I want to appeal – there are certain areas where we
must all co-operate with our leaders.
Under no circumstance
should we play politics with the minimum wage…at all. Because the Bible says if
you do something that will make the common man hungry, the people will curse you.
Proverbs 11:26. It said if you put food where the common man cannot reach it,
the people will curse you. Minimum wage – there should be no politics in that.
Let us make it as high as possible. We should not play politics with education
because if we play politics with the education of our children we are asking
for trouble tomorrow. The Bible says, if you correct your children, if you
train your children, they will give you rest. Proverbs 29 verse 17 and also
Proverbs 22:6 If we play politics with our education we are playing politics
with our future. We should not play politics with health. I remember in Isaiah
38:18 God sent to Hezekiah, Hezekiah, put your house in order, you are going to
die!” Hezekiah said, “O God, the grave cannot praise you. Death cannot
celebrate you! If I die, the number of those praising you will be minus one!”
That was a very good lawyer! Our elders have a saying: ‘Dead men cannot praise
the king.’ We can’t play politics with health of the people. We can play
politics with everything else. ... Play politics with who become ambassadors;
play politics with who will be ministers; who will not be, but food for the
people? Education for the children? Health for the populace? If we want our
tomorrow to be all right we should not play politics with those.
Now God said to Moses,
after the people cried and Moses fell on his face, he said, “God! Help! What
are we going to do? Three days ago we were rejoicing that we were free, now the
enemy is coming to take us back into captivity…what are we going to do?” God
said to Moses, “Why are you crying unto me? Tell the children of Israel to move
forward.” I believe God is saying to Nigeria
today “Nigeria,
Move forward” (Amen!) How many of you are ready to move forward? Let me hear
you shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!) Now God didn’t stop there He said to Moses,
“But you, raise up your hand across the sea and divide it. Then I will cause
your enemy to pursue you and drown them.”
You see we don’t have all
the time to dig all the digging deep that is in this story. And one of the
things I don’t have time to look at in detail is simply this: whenever all your
enemies are gathering together, if you are on the side of the Lord, you can be
sure of one thing – God wants to give you total victory. So one of the prayers
you should pray before this year runs out - because one of the prophecies at
the beginning of this year is that the fate of certain people will be sealed
this year – one of your prayers, either tonight, or some other time, is that
‘God wherever my enemies are, gather them together and deal with them once and
for all so that when I enter the next millennium, I will enter completely
free!’ Because when you read this story very well you will see that not a
single one of the Egyptians escaped. So when you see your enemies gathering
together, you shouldn’t be frightened , you should be rejoicing because God
wants to do a complete work.
Another thing that I
don’t have time to look at in detail is that when you see your enemy following
you to church, you can know that God has already set a trap because, I mean,
when Pharaoh followed Israel into the midst of the sea, he didn’t follow
willingly. God said, ”I will harden his heart., so that he will follow, so that
the water can swallow him up.” That’s why one of my advice for you for Festival
’99 , don’t invite your friends alone, your worst enemies, make sure they come.
Tell them, you want to know the secret of my power, come, let me come and show
you. If they say, I don’t have the money for transport.” “I will pay.” If he
follows you, it’s either he will become a Christian before he goes back,, in
which case he will become your brother, or else we shall see what we shall see.
But then let’s just
quickly now, look at the rest of this story – very briefly. God said to Moses,
tell the children of Israel
to move forward.” That means the children of Israel have their role to play. If
the sea is open and they refuse to go into it, there is nothing more God can
do. And then He said to Moses, “You lift up your hand across the sea and open
it.” Our leaders they have their own role to play. And when I’m talking of ‘our
leaders’. I’m not talking of our leaders political alone. As a matter of fact,
those who have the biggest role to play in the future of Nigeria are our
spiritual leaders. Those with those anointed hands they must use those anointed
hands to open the sea for us. If they don’t and they continue to use their
mouth to try to pull down our political leaders and so on and so forth, God is
going to call them into judgement. We all have our roles to play. God has His
own role to play because the moment Moses lifted his hand across the sea , God
caused the eastwind too begin to blow and it blew all night. And I’m sure you
know the wind that was blowing that day was not an ordinary wind – it was the
Holy Spirit. That’s why we have this Special Holy Ghost Night for Nigeria.
The wind is going to blow
tonight. In fact it is already blowing. God has His role to play. He is the One
who can do the impossible. I mean there was a time, nobody knew that Nigeria
had any money. We were sitting on oil and we were going abroad to beg for money
before we can prepare our budget. All of a sudden we discovered oil and like
the Pastor who spoke before me said, for years we have been burning our gas.
I’m sure the world must have been laughing at us but the devil didn’t want us
to prosper. What could bring money! He said, “Burn it!” It is going to change
because the Almighty God can do the impossible. He is the only one who can
reduce our enemies to nothing. He’s the one who can make a way where there is
no way because He is the way. He is the One who can bring water out of the
rock. You know God can do it so that we can just discover one mineral at
Redemption Camp so that we don’t need to take offering any more!
But then our leaders must
lead by example. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:1 Be followers of me, as I am a
follower of Christ. Leaders must lead by example...not only politically, I’m
also talking spiritually. Somebody asked me: “How come the Pastors in the
Redeemed Christian Church of God are so disciplined?” When I say ‘Sit down’
they sit down. “When I say, ’Stand up.’ they stand up. Go from Port
Harcourt to Maiduguri
‘Yes, Sir.’ Because they know that by the time I ask them to fast for three
days, I would have fasted seven. If we lead people by example they will follow.
So the leaders must lead by example. They must remember that to lead is to
serve. Jesus Christ said “I have come to minister to not to be ministered unto”
Our leaders must maintain their link with God because without him we can do
nothing.
And then we, the masses,
must follow where our leaders are leading. Many a times when the leaders are
leading in a particular direction that direction may involve sacrifices. Glory
be to God! I was talking to my children some days ago. There are two ways you
can do something - pay first enjoy later or enjoy first and pay later there is
no way you can enjoy without paying so it’s either you pay first and enjoy
later or enjoy first and pay later. You can face your book now, study very well
and sit behind your car later. Or you can waste your youth and become
gatekeeper for other young people who knew better when you are old. If our
leaders say let us pay first and enjoy later let all of us say Amen!. And I
hope all the youths are listening to me because there are many of you now who
don’t even want to go to school anymore! You want to become traders, we want
money quick, quick,quick. We want to begin by riding a Mercedes Benz. If you start
your tree from the top you can only come down. The best way to climb is to
climb from the bottom.
Let me close this first
session with at least some beautiful news. You see, when the Lord told Moses,
stretch your hand across the sea, open it up, and the wind began to blow, God
said, ,”Ah, The night is falling, before the sea will be fully opened it’s
going to be in the morning. In the meantime the enemy may come too close….” So
He just became one mighty pillar of fire and He separated between the enemy and
His own children. I want to assure you if you are on the side of the Lord, the
enemy may come close, they will never reach you! (Amen!) . When the morning
came and the sea had already been opened, the children of Israel had
already gone a far distance and then the enemy began to pursue and they were
pursuing them on horses and chariots and God began to remove the wheels of the
chariots!
Number two. if you are on
the side of the Lord, the enemy may pursue you they will never overtake you.
(Amen!) And then when the children of Israel
had concluded their journey across the Red Sea,
and all the enemies were fully in, in the middle, God told Moses: ”Stretch your
hand again. “ The hand that divided the sea was also the hand that closed the
sea. The elders have a saying, the teeth that the dog uses in playing with his
children is also what he uses to bite the thief. The protection power of God is
also the same power that He uses to destroy enemies. If you are on the side of
the Lord you are on the winning side there is no way you can lose that’s why I
have so much peace. People have asked me again and again, particularly during
the difficult days of Nigeria,
”How can you remain so calm?” I say because I know my Father has won the battle
before we start fighting. The Bible says in Romans 8:31 : If God be for us who
can be against us? In Romans 8:37 the Bible says we are more than conquerors In
other words even before we go to battle we know we have won. In 1 John 4:4 It
says, little children you have overcome them because greater is he that is in
you than he that is in the world.
Now I know more than
quite a few others the plan of God for Nigeria. I know the plan of God for
Nigeria
is a fantastic plan. I know that a time is coming that when the 3rd weekend of
December is around there will be no accommodation available in any hotel in Nigeria (Amen!) because people will be coming
from all over the world to Nigeria
because they will soon discover, they will know that God is a Nigerian. I said
it... I know when I said it the first time it sounded impossible...I'm not
saying we will reach there one day. Only God knows when exactly that will be
but a day is coming when anybody dies anywhere in the world and he’s a young
person, or somebody that the family loves so much, they are going to ask, “When
is the next Holy Ghost Service in Nigeria?” And they will tell them:
”Only 3 months to go.” We won’t bury the fellow. We’ll take the fellow to Nigeria first
(Amen!) They will bring them and the empty coffins will be left behind. (Amen!)
I know you will say that
this man is a dreamer – he has come again. But there are some people who have
been hearing my dreams and they are seeing my dreams come true because when we
started the Holy Ghost Service the first attendance was less than 1000. I told
them then, a day is coming when the Holy Ghost Service will be the talk of the
town. They said Amen. Now, let me tell you now. Let me tell you ..I know: a
time is coming and that one is not going to be so long to come when the first
Friday of every month will be holiday in Nigeria. (Amen!) No, no, no,, it
may not be officially declared…the thing is that you will just get to the
office and you don’t see anybody. You won’t see the boss, you won’t see the
servants. You will ask, “Where have they gone?” They will say, ”Are you here in
Nigeria
or are you from abroad?” How many have you believe that that’s going to happen
soon. Let me hear you shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
What is God saying? God
is saying that the future of Nigeria
is wonderful but that we should not relax too soon. We are out of Egypt but we are not in Canaan
land yet - we are to watch, we are to pray and that’s what we are going to do
tonight but before we begin to do that if you are not yet in Christ you are on
the losing side. Oh, He’s a wonderful God, probably that’s why He brought you
here tonight so that He can show you His mercy. I was invited to Egypt some
years ago to come and preach and I was asking my host Pastor. “How did you
discuss the crossing of the Red Sea with the Egyptians?”
He said, “Sir, whenever I get to that one I jump it!” Let me tell those of you
who are not yet born again; that God that can smile can also frown. That God
that can save can also kill. I am happy that I am on the right side of God. I
am inviting you tonight to come and join the winning side. Stop resisting him.
Come and surrender your life to Him.
Let me tell you one more
thing – if you hear the call of God as I’m telling you tonight and something
within you tells you :”sit down, don’t go, don’t you know who you are -Chief
so-so-so, Doctor so-so-so, Professor so-so-so, Barrister so-so-so…. ” If you
harden your heart, it can only mean one thing - God has decided to let you go
your own way and any one God allows to go his own way is going to perdition.
The Bible says, “Today if you will hear His voice harden not your heart.” You
have only two minutes to get to the front. .If you want to surrender your life
to Him, if you want to be on the winning side, come now, we will pray for you
first before we begin to pray for Nigeria because your case is very,
very serious .
So if you want to give
your life to Jesus, come now, come quickly. The rest of us let’s stand, those
of us who are already sure of our salvation. Thank God that you are saved.
Thank God that you are on the winning side. Thank God that the enemy may come
close but they will never reach you. Thank God that the enemy will pursue you
but they will never overtake you. Thank God that you are more than a conqueror.
If you are already born again open you r mouth and begin to thank God. Those of
you who want to give your life to Jesus, come now, the Lord is waiting for you.
Come very quickly now and as you come begin to call on the Almighty God and
say, "Father, save my soul, have mercy on me, I want to surrender tonight,
I don’t want to stay with the losing side. I want to be on the winning side.”
Come , the Lord is calling you now, He want s to save your soul. He wants to be
merciful to you. If you harden your heart, then it means only one thing, it
means God has taken His hand off your case and that is a dangerous thing to
happen. So come now. come to the Lord....Come and surrender your life to Him.
Those of us who are already born again, let’s open our mouth now and thank Him,
that song says, I’m rejoicing because my name has been written…….
What happened in Lebanon would have been child’s play in Nigeria. But
for the Almighty God we will not be here today. You know when two elephants
fight it is the grass that suffers.... It is the Almighty God that did not
allow elephants to fight over us. So I want you to stand on your feet and just
thank God for Nigeria.
Thank God for peace, for peace in our time. Let’s praise Him, let’s lift up our
voices and say Father we thank You, we thank You for Nigeria, we thank You. We thank You
for peace in our time. we thank You for keeping us one. You keep us one. Thank
You for keeping us one.
Let us pray for the
Government… all the ministers, all the Governors, all the Commissioners, all
the Counsellors, all the Obas, all the Emirs, all our rulers. You see, there
was a time when David, annoyed God and God decided to punish Israel. Several
thousand people died in one day. Not a single one died in the palace. When our
leaders make a mistake, we are the ones who pay for it. Let us call on God and
say, “Please guide our leaders.” Open your mouth and pray! :Guide our
President! Guide our ministers! Guide our Governors! Guide our Commissioners!
Guide our Counsellors! Guide our Obas, our Emirs! Guide all of them! Don’t let
them lead us astray. He said, but if we will humble ourselves, He promised that
He will hear from heaven and He will heal our land. Brethren, like little
children, let’s cry to God and say “Lord, heal our land!” Let’s cry to the
Almighty : Heal our land! Heal our economy! Heal our educational system! Heal
our security system! Heal our judiciary! Heal everything concerning Nigeria Lord!
Heal our land!
Let God arise and His
enemies be scattered, let God arise and His enemies be scattered….
Brethren, let’s call on
the Almighty and say, Father, arise and scatter the enemies of Nigeria!” Arise
O Lord! And scatter al the enemies of Nigeria! Arise O Lord and scatter
all the enemies of Nigeria!
Oh yes Lord arise!
Please I want you to pray
with all your heart. Anything O Lord that will hinder the progress of Nigeria from
now on - destroy it tonight! Let’s pray brethren…Anything , O Lord, that will

accept our thanks in Jesus’ Name. We commit our President into Your hands.
Nobody can become President unless you say so. No one can receive except you
give it to him from above. We commit our ministers into your hands. We believe
you appointed them for this time. we commit our Governors into Your hands, all
our Commissioners, all our Counsellors, all our Obas, all our Emirs, all our
Chiefs, all our leaders whether in the material or in the spiritual. Father,
guide them. (Amen!) Give them supernatural wisdom. (Amen!) Give them
understanding. (Amen!) Let them lead us aright (Amen!) Father, put Your fear in
them (Amen!) Let them constantly remember that You are the One who put them
there and that you can take them away from there. (Amen!) Your word says that

Glory be to God! Each
time you study the story of the crossing of the Red Sea
you discover that the story can be your story. There are some of the children
by the Red Sea on that day who never knew what
it was to be free. They were born into bondage, their father was born into
bondage.; their grandfather was born into bondage, and there are many of us,
the situation in which we find ourselves today is not something we caused
ourselves…problems that have been there in the family for years.. hereditary
diseases.. that this disease must be in you simply because you were born into
this particular family. What of poverty? Then there are many brilliant brains
who today will be professors who are labourers because there was nobody to pay
the school fees. There are some of us today, certain forces that have been
bothering the family are still bothering us. Some of us pray now, you must be
ready for action, this is not the time to dose and I don’t need to beg you to
pray now.. If you like be gentlemanly about it – don’t forget, the captor is
not going to let the captive go willingly. So you are going to stand on your
feet and you are going to decree in the mighty Name of Jesus’ “every other
thing that is still holding me in bondage – disease, sickness, poverty,
failure, curse upon the family, in the mighty Name of Jesus, leave me alone! I
have suffered enough! In the mighty Name of Jesus, let go of me! Everything
still holding mer in bondage, leave me alone! In the mighty Name of Jesus!”
I join my faith with all
Your children, whatever may still be holding them in bondage –sickness,
disease, poverty , failure, demons, I decree right now – let go in Jesus’ Name!

These people were set
free because they obeyed God. God said, if you put the blood of the lamb in
your door post and death comes, it will pass you over. Everybody knows that
that is a type of the blood of Jesus and that those who slept under such houses
where the blood was put on the door posts you could say they are the same as
people who are born again today. And then freedom came and they were on their
journey to the Promised Land and all of a sudden enemies that they thought they
had left behind started pursuing. “Some of us can relate to that story.
We were told, ‘the moment
you are born again, your problems are over!’ but that had not been the
experience of some of us. We gave our life to Jesus, we rejoiced, we danced,
for some period of time there was peace, then all of a sudden the enemies we
thought we had left behind began to rear their heads again. They started
pursuing. Some of us have been running. Someone was talking to us, somewhere
abroad and said… when her problem started, “Oh,” they said, “ The problem is in
your family, it is in your compound.” So she ran away from the compound. The
problem persisted. “Oh, it is in your father’s house.” So she married when she
wasn’t even ready to marry. She got married when she wasn’t even ready,
thinking that ,”Well, I’ve left my father’s family, I’m now in a new family.”
It was like going from frying pan to fire. “Oh, you know the witches and
wizards are in Nigeria.
. If you get to the white man’s country., the cold there will not allow the
witches to follow you!” So she got to the place, I won’t mention the name.
found that the problem persisted. She said, “Pastor, I am tired of running,
because I don’t know where else to run to.” Tonight there are some of us,
certain forces that we thought we had left behind are still pursuing us and as
I said, if you like, pray gently. If you like pray the only way that you should
pray so that the devil will hear and know you mean business. You will say, “All
the enemies, known and unknown that are pursuing me, according to the word of
God, I will never see you again!” Now stand on your feet and let’s pray
brethren! Every enemy, known and unknown, that are pursuing me, from today, I
will never see you again, I will never see you again…..in the mighty Name of
Jesus, every enemy, unknown and unknown, pursuing me – enough is enough, I will
never see you again in the mighty Name of Jesus!
Father, You are the One
who said, we should call upon You in the day of trouble. You said you would
hear and you would deliver. I join my faith, with the faith of all your
children and I say, “Lord, every enemy pursuing us, known and unknown, trying
to take us back into captivity, trying to take us back into sin, every agent of
the devil, every demonic influence, we decree O Lord, that in the mighty Name
of Jesus we shall see them no more! (Amen!) Father, we are tired of running,
where shall we run to? We are already in You. We have surrendered to you. All
the enemies pursuing us, in the mighty Name of Jesus we shall see them no more!
(Amen!) So shall it be! In Jesus mighty Name we have prayed (Amen!) Let
somebody shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!) God bless you! You may be seated!
When you look at this
story, you find that the children of Israel found themselves in a
situation where they cannot go forward, they cannot go backward. The Red Sea is there, Pharaoh’s army behind. They don’t know
how to swim and if you k know how to swim, swimming the sea is not an easy
thing. So there is no possibility of going back at all because death, bondage,
sorrow, is waiting behind. Like some of us, we can't go back to babalawo,
that's already too late. I don't know of you but I know of myself. I mean how
will it look if you see a Pastor saying “e ku le sir!” God forbid! I mean it is
just impossible for some of us to go back. There’s nothing back there to go to
and yet in front there’s a Red Sea. I thank
God that on that day the sea parted. I don’t know what is your own Red Sea. I don’t know that which is standing between you
and your Promised Land; I don’t know what is standing between you and the
fulfillment of the promises of God for your life. Maybe you know it, maybe you
don’t know it but tonight we are going to cry to God! We are going to say Red Sea part – I want to move forward! Let’s stand on our
feet! Let’s cry unto the Lord!
Red
Sea,
whatever you are, whatever may be your name, part tonight !because I want to
move forward!, I want to move forward!, I want to move forward!, I want to move
forward! I want to move forward! I want to move forward! Oh, yes Lord. Red Sea you must part! We want to move forward, oh, yes,
we want to enter into the Promised Land, we want to reach the Promises of God
for our lives, we want to reach the level that the Almighty God planned for us
to reach from the foundations of the world. !We want to reach our goals! So Red
Sea, you must get out of the way! You must part! Part! The children of God are
coming through! Red Sea you must part tonight! We want to move forward! We want
to move forward tonight! Glory be to God! Thank You Lord! In Jesus’ mighty Name
we pray! (Amen!) Father, there are many of Your children here, mighty promises
had come from You for them, prophecies that they knew, that they knew are meant
for them and You are not a liar Lord. Once You speak it is done, so there must
be something standing between us and the fulfillment of those promises.
Whatever may be our Red Sea, in the mighty Name of Jesus, part tonight in
Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) We want to move forward, (Amen!) we want to make progress,
(Amen!) we want to reach our goals, (Amen!) Every Red Sea part tonight in
Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Part tonight in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Part tonight in
Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Thank You my Father! Glory be to Your Name! In Jesus’
mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!) Amen! Praise the Lord! (Alleluia!) God

The Red Sea opened, the
children of Israel passed through on dry land. The enemies could have turned
back and then go and regroup and replan and think of another way to manouevre
round the Red Sea and attack again. But that day God did a complete job. He
first of all made the enemies mad. Because otherwise when they saw the sea open
they should have said, “ Eh-eh let us retreat.” But God said, “no, no, ah-ah go
in now, go in!”
You see when you read the
story of Daniel, you see the danger of leaving one of your enemies alive - when
you see the various ways the enemy had plotted in the past to destroy Daniel.
The King had a dream, forgot the dream, as a result of that he wanted to cut
off the head of Daniel and all other wise men. God intervened. The King
installed an idol. He said, “if you don’t bow down to my idol I throw you into
the fiery furnace.” They located Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego, some how they
didn’t find Daniel and then they finally said, “We know how to catch him now.
He won’t take bribe. He won’t fornicate. He will not do anything like that. Let
us ask Him not to pray.” Anything that will stop your mouth from praying, God
will deal with it today! (Amen!) And then concluded the job once and for all
after He brought Daniel out of the lion’s den. He asked the King to send for
all those people who said, “Throw him in.” And he said when they are coming
they must come with their wives and their children because if you spare the
children of your enemies, when he grows he’s going to ask what death killed his
father. The Bible says, God drowned the Egyptian army because His mercy
endureth forever. His mercy endureth forever that is why He wiped out all the enemies
of His children. So you are going to pray one prayer tonight….at least you
cannot be more merciful than God! The Bible says His mercy is beyond the
heavens. So you are going to pray a prayer tonight it will sound violent but it
is a necessary prayer. Anyone who one day in future might bring me back into
poverty, into sickness, into disease, into sorrow, into captivity, himself, his
wife, his children, tonight, the Red Sea must swallow them! Let’s stand on our
feet and pray!
Anyone, who in future,
might use me, take me back into captivity, into sorrow into sickness, into
disease, into poverty, himself, his wife, his children, every one of them wipe
them out O Lord because Your mercy endureth forever O Lord! Anything, anything,
anyone, any agent of the devil that may be used in the future to bring me back
into captivity, Father let the Red Sea swallow tonight! Anyone of them O Lord!
Thank You Father! In Jesus’ mighty Name we pray! (Amen!) My Father and my God I
know that You are wiser than men, definitely you are more merciful than men so
you know what You were doing on that day when You wiped out a whole army just
to save Your people. Therefore tonight, concerning all these Your children here
and all those who are precious to them, all those who may want to take them
back into bondage., every one of them – drown them tonight in Jesus’ Name!
(Amen!) My Father and my God, the victory of tonight let it be total in Jesus’
Name! (Amen!) let it be absolute in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) let it be complete in
Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Thank You Father! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed!

One or two points more
quickly, before we round up. When the Red Sea closed, it is God’s way of saying
to the children of Israel – “bye bye to jati-jati “ Oh, somewhere along the
line the children of Israel still look back and they say, ‘Oh, we remember
those days when we were in Egypt and we were eating fish and onions and what
else, garlic..” They’ve forgotten the strokes of the cane of the taskmaster.
they forgot rising early, sleeping late, working like an elephant and eating
like an ant. There are some of us, “Oh, we remember those days, you’re brighter
by far on a star… Oh, we remember those days, during Christmas, we used to
conquer one girl after another. Oh, we remember those days, when we used to
travel from London to Singapore just to go and drink wine..” They forgot the
nightmares. They forgot when they will be having what they call their special
celebration and somebody will be breaking their head with a bottle. They forgot
when they had to tell one lie today to cover the lie of yesterday, another one
tomorrow to cover the two of them. They forgot the time they want to leave the
office to go home and they are afraid because they don’t know what the wife had
discovered. They forgot lack of peace, they forgot they had no rest then.
Brethren we need to pray a prayer tonight – every link that may still be
linking me to the world, anything that can ever cause me to back slide;
anything that could cause me to say ‘Once upon a time I used to be a
Christian.’ Father destroy tonight! Let’s stand on our feet and pray brethren!
Anything that can still
pull me back into the world, anything that can cause me to say, ‘Oh, I used to
be a Christian, I used to be one of them, I used to sing with them, I used to
shout with them…’, O Lord, anything that could cause me to backslide, my Father
and my God destroy tonight! Destroy tonight! Destroy tonight! Anything in my
life that the enemy may use as a joker card to pull me backward, Father,
anything that could cause me to backslide, destroy tonight Glory be to Your
Holy Name! Thank You my Father, Thank You Lord! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have
prayed! (Amen!)
Father, victory is no
victory if it is lost. That is why we are begging tonight. Anything that could
cause us to backslide, anything that could cause us to say, ‘We used to be a
Christian..’, whatever it is Lord, destroy it tonight in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!)
Anything that the devil can use as a joker card saying, ”Oh, go on, go on, I
know where to get him, whatever it is Lord , destroy tonight in Jesus’ Name!
(Amen!) Thank You Father! Glory be to Your Holy Name! In Jesus’ mighty Name we
have prayed! (Amen!) Amen! Praise the Lord! Let’s be seated. Only two more. Two
only.
When the children of
Israel were leaving Israel, the Bible said they spoilt the Egyptians, they took
a lot of their money, prosperity came and believe me honestly for many of you
here tonight, prosperity comet (Amen!) celebration cometh (Amen!) And there are
many people who by now who must have discovered, that when you are extremely
poor your enemies are few. If you have a second-hand bicycle, one trouser, one
shirt, you wash it at night so that you can wear it in the morning, you don’t
need a night guard, what is he going to protect? But when prosperity comes and
'S' class, 'E' class begin to fill your compound. You move from ‘face me, I
face you’ to your own mansion (Amen!) Those people you used to borrow money
from they won’t like you any more but they won’t show it. “Ah, you’ve got
another car, congratulations.” But inside they are wishing either that you will
have an accident or that something happens, you have a disease you have to sell
all the cars before you can be healed… Just as the children of Israel were
entering into prosperity before they could settle down and begin to enjoy,
that’s when the enemy pursued. and then Moses said one thing and I’m going to
say the same thing to you tonight, and you are going to pray about it yourself,
he said, “The Lord will fight for you.” (Amen!) So you are going to pray
tonight, Lord of Hosts, I’m not talking of tonight alone.....for the rest of my
life, fight for me! “ Let’s stand on out feet, let’s call on the Almighty God!
Lord of Hosts, not only
tonight, not only tonight, for the rest of my life, fight for me, fight for me!
Let me see Your salvation! Fight for me, fight for me, fight for me, fight for
me, fight for me, for the rest of my life!, You the defender of the
defenseless, oh fight for me Lord!.....Glory be to Your Holy Name! Thank You
Father! Thank You Father! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!)
Father, You are the
defense of the defenseless. Even if we have bodyguards, how many of them are we
going to have and how many of them will stand when they see death? But then
even the bodyguards can only fight enemies that we can see. They can’t fight
those enemies that come through locked doors but Father You never sleep,
(Amen!) You never slumber (Amen!) You can never die again (Amen!) Fight for us
in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Not only today Father but for the rest of our lives
Father, fight for us in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!). As we begin to prosper, as we
begin to celebrate, like You said to David, You prepared a table before me in
the presence of mine enemies....Father do the same for us in Jesus’ Name!
(Amen!) Every one of Your children here and all those who are precious to them,
from today my Father and my God fight for us (Amen!) fight for us! (Amen!) be
our defense (Amen!) be our protection (Amen!) Oh, my Father and my God, day and
night, fight for us (Amen!) Thank You my Father Glory be to Your Name! In

Only one more. How many
of you believe that God has answered your prayers anyway?. How many of you
believed that definitely something had happened tonight? Now let me hear you
shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
When you pursue this
story a little further…. I have jumped over several things but let’s just take
one more point. When Israel looked back, they looked at the Red Sea bubbling
with dead bodies, soldiers who some hours ago, were ready to capture and to
kill, horses dead, floating, chariots overturned, the Bible says, Moses and all
the children of Israel began to praise God. Let me read a bit of it to
you....Exodus 15 ..let me read verses 1 and 3 and then 9 –11:
Then sang Moses and the
children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto
the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he
thrown into the sea. The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my
salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God,
and I will exalt him. The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
And then from verse 9:
The enemy said, I will
pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied
upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. Thou didst blow
with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.
Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in
holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
Let somebody shout
Alleluia! (Alleluia!) They sang, they praised Him, they told Him: “Who is like
unto thee O Lord? Who is like unto thee O Lord…. They sang... .O se o baba, o
se o baba… don’t worry you will have time to sing. But for how long did they
praise Him ? Psalm 106 recorded the story for us. Let me read a bit of it to
you. Psalm 106. Let ‘s just read from verse 7-15:
Our fathers understood
not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but
provoked him at the sea, even at the Red Sea. Nevertheless he saved them for
his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known. He rebuked
the Red Sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as
through the wilderness. And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them,
and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. And the waters covered their
enemies: there was not one of them left. Then believed they his words; they
sang his praise. They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert. And he
gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
They sang, they praised
Him but after some days they forgot. You are going to pray one more prayer
tonight. God don’t let me ever forget Your goodness. Let’s stand up and pray
that prayer.
Father, don’t let me ever
forget Your goodness! My Lord and my Saviour don’t let me ever forget Your
goodness! My Lord and my Saviour don’t let me ever forget Your goodness! Let me
be grateful for the rest of my life! Let me be grateful for the rest of my
life! Don’t let me ever forget Your goodness! Don’t let me ever forget Your
mercies! Don’t let me ever forget Your great works! Don’t let me ever forget
Your goodness and Your mercy and all that You’ve done in my life! Don’t let me
ever forget! Thank You my Saviour! Don’t let me ever forget Your goodness, You
mercy, Your greatness, Your great works! Blessed be Your Holy Name Lord! Thank
You Lord! Glory be to Your Holy Name! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed!

Father, I stand before
You as Your representative to these people. Many of us in the past had
forgotten Your goodness and Your mercies. When we say, Let us thank God!” We
say, “What has He done?” We forgot all that You had done in the past. We forgot
that You wake us up every morning; that any one You don’t wake up will not wake
up. We forgot that it is not everybody who leaves home in the morning who will
come back in the evening. We forget that not everybody who had a mouth can
speak. O Lord, I beg on behalf of Your children today, every act of ungratefulness
on our part, every act of ingratitude my Lord and my God, forgive in Jesus’
Name! (Amen!) Today Lord, we enter into a covenant with You for the rest of our
lives we will praise You (Amen!) we will praise You (Amen!) we will praise You
(Amen!) We will not forget Your good works! Thank You Father! Glory be to Your
Name! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!) Now let somebody shout a
real big Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
All right now we are
going to praise Him. We may be seated for a while but even as we are seated we
will really sing. I’m sure you notice that this is the first time during Holy
Ghost Service that it will rain. This is the first time ever and I am sure it
is saying something. What do you think it is saying …if you believe that shout Alleluia!
(Alleluia!) The ushers will help us. We want to thank God tonight. .We will
thank Him with our song, we will dance even as we are seated and we will give
God a thanksgiving offering the kind that we have never given before. And we
will let God know that from tonight we will always thank Him.. If you agree
with me say ‘Amen!’ All right, over to you band and then ushers please come
round and take our thanksgiving offering. Everybody testify You are good….
The Lord asked me to tell
you that the rain is not only talking about showers of blessing, He said, for
you the heavens had opened...(Amen!) I want you to shake hands with two or
three people and say, “Thank God I came!” “Thank God I came!” In the Name of
Jesus, Alleluia , Amen, I will reach my goal, Alleluia, Amen….Amen!.
I think tonight is a
night for the sisters (Amen!) Why? A third baby girl has been born and the
mother is coming to the Holy Ghost Service for the first time! But I believe it
is also a night for the boys, after all we are going to marry the girls. Let
the boys shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
Father, thank You we are
very grateful, accept our thanks in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Bless this offering O
Lord (Amen!) Sanctify it and use it for Your glory and Lord for the rest of our
life let us be able to thank You (Amen!) Thank You Father for we pray in Jesus’
mighty Name (Amen!) Amen! Let somebody shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)

the living Jesus! My name is sister Aletu I am here to give this testimony
because I want to put the devil to shame. My husband is an Alhaji and I am a
Christian and I have been trying to change him but no way. He has been sick for
the past one year, since September last year but because God want to use him… I
used to come here and say , Father , I don’t want my husband to die, heal him
and let him believe that Jesus is the only way, He is the only person that can
heal, He’s the only person who can save but he refused. , Instead he said,
maybe he thinks that as I am going to this church he wants to do something…he
said that Holy Ghost Night that you are going, you will not go. I prayed a
violent prayer. I said, “My Father, if You are the one that I am serving truly,
I want to go to this Holy Ghost Night, I leave everything to You. You can do
whatever You like but I want to go to this Holy Ghost Night.” To God be the
glory, on Monday my husband fell sick…not that I want him to sick oh....He fell
sick and the sickness was so serious that I said, “God why now, why this again?
It had been on since but I don’t want him to sick because as he is now this is
his picture. If you see him now he is one quarter of this now. Now I said, in
Ezekiel 37 that I should talk to prophesy to the bone. I said, “Lord, save my
husband, give him flesh!” But on Wednesday he was rushed to the hospital in a
state of coma. I started praying, I said, “God I don’t want this man to die!
Let him believe that You are the only Person who can save, You are the only
Person who can heal!” So when I got here on Thursday, I took the mantle they
gave us,....I say, “Open your hand!” I command him and I command God. If it is
a sin God will forgive me. He opened his hand and I put that mantle in his hand
and I said ,” My Father and my God! Baba God! I am commanding You, this man
must not die You must allow him to know You. You are the only Person that can
heal Him!” To God be the glory when I got there yesterday, I was so happy! I
said, “Eh!” He didn’t know that it’s because of God; that God wants to use him,
that’s why he’s still living oh! But I want God to touch him to bring him back
to Jesus. Praise the Lord! (Alleluia!)
Praise ye the Lord! I
give this testimony to the glory of God.. My name is Michael Oluwasemoyin.
Sometimes in December last year I dreamt that we were asked to come for blood
test. As I stretched out my left hand for the doctor to take the blood, instead
of looking for my vein he just stuck the needle at my wrist. Then in that dream
I was annoyed with him, I said, “Are you qualified at all?” And I took my hand
from him and I woke up. The following morning the wrist started paining me. I
applied all sorts of things I could apply – medication. It would not go. I told
my Pastor, he prayed. It would not go. I went to the Area, they prayed it would
not go.. Then doctor friend said I should try this and try that, they gave me
all sorts of medication, it refused to go. Then some times in March I came
here, I came to the altar here, I prostrated, I said I would give testimony if
the hand would heal, it would not go. Then tonight, on Friday night as our
Father in the Lord said the Lord is healing 7000 people, I claimed it. And when
he was still kneeling down, I knelt down with him and to God be the glory,
after everything has finished and we were asked to go for recess, I just shook
my hand, it has gone! So Praise the Lord! (Alleluia!)
Praise the Lord! I want
to testify to the glory of the Lord. My name is Olutayo Temitope. 2 years ago I
discovered that here is a lump in my breast. I couldn’t tell my mum because my
mummy will be crying so since then I will be praying. I said, ”God, I don’t
want this thing to install to cancer. “ So when the GO said that God is here to
heal us tonight that we should be praising the Lord and worshipping then I
started praising the Lord and worshipping the Lord……
