the Almighty, the One who can do the impossible. There is none Holy as the

worship the Almighty God, let’s worship the faithful One, the Holy One, the powerful
One, the glorious One, the One who can do all things Blessed be Your Holy Name
O Lord! … Yes we want to worship You Lord, we want to bless Your Name we want
to magnify Your Holy Name, oh, You are wonderful Lord! … Thank You Jesus! Thank

The Lord said there’s a
woman here tonight; your mother-in-law said “Over my dead body will you have a
child fore my son.” The Lord asked me to tell you. Prepare for her funeral!
(Amen!) baba, baba, baba, baba, ese o baba…..
The Lord said there’s a
woman here tonight; because of what I’m going to do in your life, more than ten
thousand souls will be saved! (Amen!)
The Lord said there is
somebody here tonight, because your sister died at childbirth, you were afraid
to become pregnant. The Lord asked me to tell you: You did not come to the
world the same day as your sister, your destiny is different, so get ready for
your pregnancy. (Amen!)
My Father and my God, I
know that this is going to be an extraordinary night and I just want to thank
you in advance, but meanwhile O Lord, I just want to thank You for the last
Convention. Thank You for the souls that were saved. Thank You for those that
were healed. Thank You for the captives that you set free. Thank You for the
fine weather. Thank You for safety. Thank You for joy. Thank You for victory.
Thank You for provision. Thank You for answered prayers. Thank You for Jesus.
Thank You for the Holy Ghost. Thank You for the Redeemed Christian Church of
God. Glory be to Your Holy Name Lord! Tonight Father, do the impossible. Let
our joy overflow. (Amen!) Surprise everyone of us. (Amen!) At the end of
everything Lord, let Your Name be glorified again! (Amen!) Thank You Daddy! In
Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed! Amen! Let somebody shout Alleluia!

Luke 5… How many of you
were blessed by the first sermon? If you were blessed let me hear you shout
Alleluia! (Alleluia!) Omowale had preached half of my sermon! When he said Luke
chapter something, I was afraid he was going to say Luke chapter 5! But then He
ended the sermon with what I was going to end my first sermon with. That’s why
I fell in love with him the first time I saw him because I saw that he has the
right spirit in him. That’s why he’s welcome here any time! That’s why the wife
and the elders are also welcome anytime. And that’s why I didn’t introduce him
because he’s no longer a stranger. He is now part of the family.
Luke 5 let me read from
verse 1 to 7:
1 And it came to pass,
that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the
lake of Gennesaret, 2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen
were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. 3 And he entered into one
of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a
little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. 4
Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep,
and let down your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon answering said unto him,
Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at
thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had this done, they inclosed
a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. 7 And they beckoned unto
their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help
them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
I’m sure you’ll be
wondering what has this passage got to do with barren woman becoming fruitful.
That was the first question I asked when God said that id the passage for
today. If we are talking about financial breakthrough I can understand this
passage, but then the barren becoming fruitful, Luke Chapter 5? It is good to
be able to hear from God. And when you are talking to the one who wrote the
Bible He can tell you what he wrote in the Bible. For the benefit of you who
are coming for the first time, this Holy Ghost Service is a special one for those
who want to become fruitful.
How did it happen to be?
It was during the Convention as I was praying around on the Camp. “How many
children do you want the barren to bring forth, next year Convention?" And
I jumped for joy! 10,000! (Amen!) Now when I said that, I didn't know what was
coming the following day. But by the following day, when we called on those who
were barren before who had got their children, to come forward and we counted
the number of children for the two conventions it was 5517! Oh! So I said ten
thousand that I asked for is too small! “God! I’m asking for twenty thousand!”
(Amen!) How many of you will say Amen with me! And then He said, “In that case
call them together!” If He’s going to give 20,000 children, how will it be? At
least my own should be one of the twenty. thousand. If He’s distributing 20,000
children, one way or the other, I know somebody will grab one! (Amen!) Now I
know some people will get two! (Amen!) And I know there are some greedy people
like me who will want three! (Amen!) I’m going to be very quick because I can
already feel His presence and I will want to…
Almost everyone has his
or her own area of barrenness. Some are barren financially, they work hard, but
there is nothing to show for it. Some are barren academically. Oh, they can
study like nobody’s business but on the day of examination they always forget
everything they have learnt. Some are barren in soul-winnning. They witness to
the whole world but they have nobody to show for their soul-winning. But tonight
every form of barrenness will be dealt with by Jesus Christ (Amen!) And I want
you to know that God loves the barren even though He hates barrenness.
In John 3:16 the Bible
says that God so loved the world. If He loves the whole world, that means He loves
me He loves you, He loves everybody! So don’t let the Devil tell you, God hates
you that’s why you are barren. No God loves you! And because He loves you
that’s why He’s asking for this special Holy Ghost Service - for your sake. I
also know that God is attracted towards the barren because they give Him the
opportunity to show His All-Sufficiency. When He was revealing His Name,
Jehovah El-Shaddai, He revealed that Name to a man who was barren. Just like
Omowale said, as the Yoruba names have meaning, the Names of God also have
meaning. He said to Abraham in Genesis 17:1, He said, “I am Jehovah El-Shaddai,
the God who is more than enough!” And He was talking to a barren man!
Because the barren are
helpless, as it were, because nobody has the power to make children, God is
easily touched by the barren. In Hebrews 4:15 He said, “Our God is touched by
our feelings of infirmities.” You see when you are sufficient, when you have
everything, many a time you don’t feel you need God. There’s plenty of money in
the bank. In examination you are always coming first; before you slept with
your wife, she had twins…So when we say, “God” - Who needs God? I mean. I know
that somebody told one man here, “We saw you on television on Holy Ghost night!
You? What’s your problem? What is chasing you that you have to go to Holy Ghost
Service? What’s your problem?” They believe that it is only those who have
problem who should move close to God. The beauty of it is that God wants anyone
who will come close to Him to come.
And if there is any one
who is in a problem, the barren surely are in a problem. And one of the reasons
why God is attracted towards them is that when they pray, their prayers are
sincere prayers. I'm talking of those of them who want to have children because
some of them don't want to have children. But there are some who are here
tonight who want to have children. So when they cry to God they cry from the
bottom of their hearts. They don’t pray sophisticated prayers. They don’t pray
educated prayers. They don’t talk about O Lord, my God! The One who reigns in
Shekinah glory … eheh! They say, God help me! Don’t let me die without fruit!
When they cry to God they cry from the bottom of their hearts. And God loves.
those kind of prayers. He said in Psalm 50 verse 15, He said, “Call on me in
the day of trouble and I will answer you!” God is going to answer somebody here
tonight. (Amen!)
Now, these people who had
been barren before, when they finally get their children, they appreciate
children more. They take children as precious things. They understand that
children can only come from God. They know the meaning of Psalm 127 verse 3: It
says, “Children are an heritage of the Lord.” So they appreciate children.” But
those who keep getting them like rabbits, they say… they don’t bother much! And
because they appreciate children, they love them just as God loves them. You
remember those days when they brought children to Jesus in Mark 10:13-16 There
were some people who said, “Get these children away from here!” But Jesus said,
“What? Let these children come unto me. Forbid them not.” ” Why? “For theirs is
the Kingdom of God.” And He carried the babies in His
hand and He blessed them. Somebody once asked me. “Why do you love children so
much?” “Because, I’m like my Father in heaven.” Children are wonderful things!
That’s why those of you who are trusting God for children, whether the Devil
likes it pr not, I’m going to rejoice with you by this time next year! (Amen!)
Now these barren who
become fruitful they appreciate the fact that with God nothing shall be
impossible. because many of them have been told by doctors, it is impossible.
some of them have been told by doctors, “Your womb is dead!” But then they know
that God said once that He can raise children out of stones.
So if they have told you that your womb is dead or they have told you husband
that there is nothing in your man liquid, tell them God can raise children out
of stones. God is going to surprise somebody here today. (Amen!) And so when
they finally get their children, they know how to praise God. Those of you who
were here during the Convention you must have seen one woman who had been
barren for seventeen years. When she was praising God she nearly forgot where
she was. Because it takes somebody that God has brought out of the miry clay,
somebody who had waited patiently on the Lord for a long time to sing a new
song to God. When you read Psalm 40:1- 3 it said, “I waited patiently on the
Lord and He heard me. He brought me out of the miry clay, He put my feet on the
rock to stay and then He put a new song in my mouth.” Somebody’s going to sing
a new song tonight!
That’s why God is
attracted to them. When we ask some people top praise God, they wonder what are
we praising Him for? But the woman who’s been barren for 21 years, she knows.
Like somebody said, “Anytime we say praise the Lord, and people are shouting
‘Alleluia’, my ‘Alleluia’ is different from your own. I know what I am shouting
’Alleluia’ for. Some of you are shouting it because there is nothing else to
do. But if you are travelling in a car on the expressway and you are going at
110 KPH and then the two tires in front burst and then you somersaulted six
times and you came out, your children came out, nobody has any scratch. If they
say, “Praise the Lord!” Your Alleluia will be different. Let somebody shout
Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
But then what has Luke 5,
this story about Peter, what has it got to do with the barren becoming fruitful
– plenty. As with fishing, just one throw is enough to produce fish. And yet,
one can try all night and catch nothing. You understand very well! The husband
can meet with the wife only once. Just one attempt can produce a set of twins
and yet the poor man can labour all night and there’ll be no result. The Bible
says in Psalm 127 from verse 1 to 3, it said, “Unless the Lord builds the
house, they labour in vain that build it.” It went on to say that you will be
wasting your time to stay up all night, if God is not there you will just be
awake for nothing. That is why I am sure that things will be different for
those who have been labouring in vain tonight in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!)
The fisherman could be an
expert, his partner might be just wonderful but he still may not catch
anything. The husband can even be a doctor; the wife could be a nurse. They can
know everything about ovulation period. They could know all the details about
productivity but the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 3; it says, “Paul may plant,
Apollos may water, only God gives the increase.” When it comes to child-bearing.
It is only God. Only who?
And then just as in this
story of Peter, the moment God is involved, success becomes as easy as ABC. If
God is involved, once God is in partnership with husband and wife producing
children becomes as easy as ABC because Proverbs 10:22 it says it is the
blessing of the Lord that maketh rich and addeth no sorrow. All of you who have
been sorrowing, no more weeping in Jesus’ Name!
And according to this
story of Peter we discover that it is possible to fail at night and succeed
during the day. I’m sure you understand that one. Some of you now, as soon as
you finish the Holy Ghost Service and you get home, don’t wait to the night!
Fortunately tomorrow morning is Saturday so…. Many husbands will not go to work
because many a time the enemy that is working against you is busy at night.
Let’s surprise them, let’s change to day time! Let somebody shout Alleluia!
(Alleluia!)
Oh, Thank You Daddy! You
see when your appointed day comes it could be before breakfast. It could be between
breakfast and lunch. It could be immediately after lunch. The Bible says in
Psalm 118:24 “This is the day that the Lord has made. We shall rejoice and be
glad in it.” There’s somebody here who is going to begin to rejoice from now
on. (Amen!) So let me hear you shout Alleluia if you are the one. (Alleluia!)
Peter had a night of
sorrow, a night of failure, a night of frustration. He would throw the net,
pull it in, nothing, threw it again, pull it in, nothing, do it again and then
the day came. Things changed. You see, you need to understand something about
God. The day of God begins with evening, It is our own we start from the
morning. In His own, He starts from evening. Genesis 1 verse 5 He said, “And
the evening and the morning is the first day.” And that’s why God said in Psalm
30:5 “Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh…” when? Tell your neighbour
“Tomorrow morning – joy cometh!” Shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
Like in the case of
Peter. If you will surrender your boat to Jesus, your womb, He will cause the
fish to swim in the right direction (Amen!) because when Peter surrendered His
boat God caused all the fish to swim in one direction only so that when it was
time to harvest Peter just caught all of them. Ask the doctor he will tell you that
when your husband has finished his assignment there are several fish that will
begin to swim. They will be swimming towards your own seed. Now they will tell
you, the doctors will tell you that if they don’t arrive on time they die. Some
people, the fish instead of swimming –they will even begin to swim outside,
Some fish will be swimming to the right, swimming to the left. He said,
"Swim inside!" From tonight your fish will swim in the right
direction. ‘Amen! Glory be to God! Alleluia!
There’s one little girl
in the congregation who said, “What is he talking about?” You are too young to
understand my dear. God told a fish to swim and swallow Jonah, He told a fish
to swim and be the first one to be caught by the hook of Peter with money in
its mouth. Tonight, from now on, the fish your husband is going to deposit will
swim in the right direction. (Amen!)
Now, like the case of
Peter. God told Peter to launch into the deep so He can [perform a miracle
there. Now it takes God to perform a miracle in the deep because God himself is
very deep. The Bible says in Isaiah 40 verse 28, He said, “There is no
searching of His understanding.” Mmmh! God is deep!
Proverbs 30:15 & 16
also says that the womb of a woman is very deep. And then in Psalm 42 verse 7
the Bible says, ‘Deep calleth unto deep.’ So God who is deep is going to call
unto the deep of your womb. (Amen!) and say, ‘Deep! Produce children!’ So shall
it be for you in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!)
Now when Jesus told Peter
to launch into the deep and throw your net to the right, Peter said, “Mmmh,
that instruction doesn’t make sense. If I’m going to catch fish as a fisherman,
the best time is the night. Number two; the best place is shallow water so I
don’t understand this idea of launching into the deep in the daytime.” Whatever
God asks you to do tonight – that is what you must do! You may not understand
Him. If He asks you to jump, jump. If He says that is what is going to lead to
your conception just jump. If He asks you to sit down and do nothing, then sit
down and do nothing. Remember Romans 11:33, it says, ‘His ways are past finding
out!’ You can’t understand Him He’s too deep! I mean, when He was beginning to
explain Luke 5 to me like I’m explaining it to you now, all I could say was
“God you are too wonderful!” And the mother of Jesus said, as I am saying to
you tonight, “Whatsoever he asks you to do…what should you do? (Do it!)
Now, fortunately the rest
of my sermon had been preached by Omowale. Like in the case of Peter, the one
who had failed all night - the biggest fish ever caught, that sank two boats,
came through a man who had failed all night! Go through the Bible, you will
find that the best children came from barren wombs! Isaac, his name is
‘laughter’; somebody’s going to laugh from now on. Study your Bible very well,
you will never find a single evil report concerning Isaac. Oh, Abraham, he had
some faults, Jacob, he tried, Isaac, absolutely clean. Joseph, I’m not sure you
know the meaning of his name. His name means God will increase me. He came from
a barren woman. Joseph, beautiful reports; loved by the Father, loved by God,
holy, clean, pure a national saviour. He came from a barren woman. Samuel, I’m
not sure you know the meaning of his name… his name means. God heard me.
Answered prayers. Won’t it be just wonderful to have a child that you will just
call ‘answered prayers’? Great prophet, kingmaker. I mean when He says to a
king, “Your kingdom is over.” That kingdom is over. How will you like to have a
child that no president can become president without his permission? Oh, the
man said, listen, the best political party is on my side. He said, oh, I’m
telling you, unless I give you permission you won’t get there? Saul said, Oh, I
am very famous with the people, I don’t want to annoy them that’s why I
disobeyed you Samuel. Samuel said, Is that so? You are no more king. “Ahh!” he
said, “you must be joking.” “ I’m telling you your kingdom is gone.” How would
you like to have a son who will speak a word and God will say Amen? That boy
came from a barren womb. What about John the Baptist? The Bible said tells us
that Jesus Christ said, this is the greatest of all the Old Testament saints.
Thank You Daddy! Daddy said, I should stop preaching Glory be to God! Tonight
is tonight!
There is only one barren person
who can go away barren tonight. That’s the only one who refuses to surrender
his or her life to Jesus. Because Peter would not have been able to become what
he became if he had not first of all surrendered his boat. Jesus Christ wants
to enter into the boat of your life tonight but He won’t force you. But if you
want to surrender your life to Him and say, “Lord, no more struggling, take
over, become my Lord become my Saviour, I want to give my life to You.” Come
now, let’s settle that one first and then we go to the next phase. So if you
are here and you are not yet born again, and now you want to surrender your
life to Jesus, come now. I don’t have time to waste because this is a glorious
night. You are coming for salvation now, you want Jesus to save your soul, you
want to begin to do the will of God from now, you want to begin to obey God
from now, you want to say bye-bye to the devil from now, you want to put an end
to the life of sin from now and you want Jesus to save your soul – come now,
come now!
Now brethren the rest of
us let’s begin to thank God, let’s begin to rejoice, even on behalf of these
people who are coming now! Begin to praise God for them because they are coming
for salvation and that salvation is going to lead to several other great
things.
So come now, come! if you
want to give your life to Jesus. Come now, the Lord is calling you! He wants to
save your soul, He wants to be merciful unto you, come now, come from allover
the place. This is the Hour of Salvation! Come and surrender your life to Him.
He loves you that’s why He brought you here and He wants to save your soul, and
as you come cry unto Him and say, Lord save my soul, have mercy on me Lord,
have mercy on me Lord! I have come to surrender my life to you! Come, come, come
now! Come and call on Him! And say, “Saviour of mankind, I come to you tonight,
come and save my soul.” Call on Him from the bottom of your heart. Call on Him
now! Say, “Lord save my soul tonight!” Come from all over the place. The Lord
is calling you now. Thank You Father! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed!
(Amen!)
Father we want to bless
your name because this is the day you had made. This going to be a great day of
Salvation. Accept our thanks in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) We thank you for all these
your children who have come forward tonight. They say, “Yes, we are ready now
to surrender to Jesus.” Father receive them in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Whatever
sins they have committed up to today forgive them in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Your
blood that cleanses from all sins let it cleanse them tonight in Jesus’ Name!
(Amen!) Father, save their souls. (Amen!) Write their names in the Book of
Life. (Amen!) And don’t let them ever back slide in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) My
Lord and my Saviour, this very night, let their miracles begin. (Amen!) From
this moment, let their weeping end. (Amen!) And Father, in Your Kingdom, don’t
let them be found wanting. (Amen!) In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed!
(Amen!) Amen Praise the Lord! (Alleluia!)
Now I rejoice with you
but we want to make sure that everything is done properly tonight because this
is a special Holy Ghost Night, anyone who gets born again that night, I get
their names, so that I can continue to pray special prayers for them. So I’m
going to ask all of you to please turn in this direction. You will see two
people waving some sticks up there. They will take you to the extreme end of
this auditorium where some ministers are waiting to take down your names and
your prayer requests and I promise you we will wait till you return before we
continue. Now let’s begin to go and the rest of us let’s begin to rejoice as
they go. Oh what a wonderful, wonderful day, day I will never forget…Heaven
came down and glory filled my soul…I am rejoicing my name has been written, I
am rejoicing for I am born again…. Let somebody shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!) I’m
sure the counsellors are going to need the assistance of the deacons and
deaconesses - please go there and help them. I’m sure you are more than happy
to be a vessel unto honour in a night like this. So deacons and deaconesses
please go quickly to the counselling centre so we can quickly get down their
particulars because there is a lot that God wants to do tonight.
Now while we are waiting
for our new brothers and sisters, I want you to think of all the areas of
barrenness in your own life. It could be, like I said, financial barrenness, it
could be academic. Maybe your problem is that you don’t even have anyone to
marry. Or that you can’t seem to win any souls. Think of all the areas of barrenness
in your life and begin to talk to God and say, “Tonight my weeping must end, my
joy must come this morning that is coming. Every barrenness in my life must
end!” Let’s begin to talk to the Lord now. Thank You Lord! Oh yes Lord let
every form of barrenness in my life and in the lives of these your children,
vanish tonight! Let our weeping end and let our joy begin to the glory of Your
Name! Thank You Father! Thank You Lord! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed!
(Amen!) Father, I just want to thank you for this special night because lives
will be changed tonight! (Amen!) Sorrow will become joy tonight. (Amen!)
Failure will become success tonight. (Amen!) Defeat will become triumph
tonight. (Amen!) Accept our thanks in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Every form of
barrenness Father, destroy tonight in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Thank You because
You are here. (Amen!) Thank You because Your power is here. Thank You because
Your Word has gone out (Amen!) Glory be to Your Holy Name! (Alleluia!) In
Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!) Praise the Lord! (Amen!) Praise
Jesus! (Amen!)
Now it is time to
minister. Please remember what I said earlier on. Tonight we must be absolutely
what? Obedient. During this first session only those who are trusting God for
the fruit of the womb will be ministered to. During the second session we will
minister to those who are trusting God for future partners as well as those who
are trusting God for breakthroughs in one area of life or another. If we do it
the way God said, we will all have testimonies. (Amen!) Now the ministering
points will be four. I’ve asked the ushers to create one space at the extreme
right there. I’m sure they have done so. If they have to clear the crowd a
little, they have to do so; but create a little spot up there, all right. And
the same with my extreme left, behind the altar and we will use even the front
of the altar. Now those who are at the back of the altar, you’ll be ministered
to behind the altar. Those of you directly in front of us, you’ll be ministered
to in front here. Those of you to my right you’ll be ministered to at the
extreme right. Those of you at my left, you’ll be ministered to at the extreme
left.
Now how are we going to
do it? Now sit down, don’t move yet, just remain seated. Please be totally
obedient tonight. Sit down please tonight, thank you. Unless those of you who
have no seat at all... If you have a seat go back to your seat now! God will
bless you as you obey. How are we going to do it? They brought five loaves of
fish and two fish to Jesus. He thanked God and broke it and gave to His
disciples and His disciples gave to the people. As He was breaking it, it was
multiplying in His hands. When it got to the hand of the disciples it
multiplied again so we had double multiplication. What we are going to do
tonight is that I am going to lay my hands on the hands of the ministers. The
anointing will multiply as it goes into their hands and then in their hands it
will multiply again. So that as they lay their hands on you, they are going to
carry anointing that had been multiplied twice over to you. So I’m sure that
there’ll be many twins next year. (Amen!) So remain seated until I’ve finished
with the ministers after that then you can begin to go to your own section
Thank You Father! We can have a worship song. Brethren…
Glory be to God! While I
was sitting down there I was doing a little bit of wrestling with my Daddy.
Daddy said, among those who are considered barren today that by this time next
year, six of them will have triplets! (Amen!) I was trying to see if He can
increase the number but He said six, that’s what He has in mind. That’s good
enough! Glory be to God! How many of you will agree with me? just hold on with
me in faith because I want at least 700 to have twins! Now which one are you
going to have triplets or twins? I told you, you have to consider the pocket of
your husband!
All glory be to God! This
is a night you will never, never forget! You see because Daddy has been doing
so many things apart from what you can see with your eyes. For example. There
is a king here that the enemies have told you you will not last on your
Father’s throne. God asked me to tell you that you will bury all of them.
(Amen!) There’s another case, very interesting one, some people are plotting to
get you out of your position in your place of work. God has said something like
this before, He is saying it again – He said long after those who are plotting
against you are gone, you will still be there! (Amen!)
All right. Well, when you
begin to give testimonies of tonight you will see several other things which He
has done! (Amen!) Next Holy Ghost Service is another special one because it is
on October 1 so you know it’s going to be special for Nigeria, and since you
are Nigeria it means it’s going to be special for you. I don’t know the details
yet but Next Holy Ghost Service will be very, very special Glory be to God! I
can only say this, that Nigeria has left Egypt never, never to return! (Amen!)
As long as my Daddy is on His throne ad there are people like you and I to call
on Him w will never go back to Egypt. However we are yet to reach Canaan land,
that’s why I want you to come and invite all your friends for the next Holy
Ghost Service because we are going to pray like we have never prayed before.
Pharaoh is not happy. He want’s us back in Egypt! So if you will join hands
with me then on October 1 1999 we can drown Pharaoh and all his hosts. Remember
one of the promises of God at the beginning of this year is that the fate of
certain nations will be sealed this year. Come next Holy Ghost Service let us
seal the fate of Nigeria into a very good something.
And I am sure you are
already preparing for the Holy Ghost Festival of December - December 16-18. You
know I don’t boast and I can tell you as quietly as usual, it will be 3 days of
heaven on earth. I can’t say more than that right now. Maybe as we get closer I
will tell you more But begin to save your transport money now. If you are a car
owner make sure you have deposited with your petrol dealer, the money for
petrol to come. I am telling you. Lekki ’98 is going to be child’s play
compared to what is coming. (Amen!) And we have moved the venue to here so that
it can be closer to everybody else, closer to Ogun, closer to Oyo, closer to
Osun, closer to Ekiti, closer to everybody! And we are already getting ready.
If you wait till the morning light and you look in that direction you will see
that we are clearing about 6 square km of land for that program! But please we
still want to appeal to those of you who have very strong caterpillars - we
need about thirty more. Then, workers please don’t forget you are having your
meeting here this morning at 5 o’clock in preparation for the festival. Do I
hear the workers shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!) Some of you workers will raise the
dead for the first time in your life in December. (Amen!) Let’s pray.
Father, You are good, You
have been extremely good. We will always bless Your Name. Even if we go now You
have done enough but You say You still want to bless us more and we don’t mind
at all. We want our cup to overflow. So let it be in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Thank
You Father! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed! Amen!
Luke 5 I will now read
very quickly verses 8-11 and talk to you for five minutes and then we let God
do what He wants to do more. Luke 5:8-11
8 When Simon Peter saw
it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful
man, O Lord. 9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the
draught of the fishes which they had taken:
Tell your neighbour, I am
going to become an amazement to my neighbours! Eh-eh, they didn’t hear you, say
it again!
10 And so was also James,
and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said
unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. 11 And when they
had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.
What is barrenness?
Actually barrenness means fruitless efforts. That’s why I know that at least
for some people here tonight, beginning from me, no more fruitless efforts in
my life. (Amen!) But we need to learn, what must I do so that I don’t lose the
victory I have got tonight? Those who will remain forever fruitful like
Simon Peter that the Lord
said, You think you have got something? Now I am promoting you to something
higher. Those who are going to get babies and it won’t be only one but they
will now continue to have as many as they want. (Amen!) They have to understand
that fruitful people, the barren that became fruitful have 3 distinct
characteristics.
Number one they are
worshippers. Abraham, study his life, he’s always building altars to God.
Genesis 12:7 and 8, Genesis 13:4, Genesis 13:18 and on and on. You will always
find Abraham building an altar so he can worship God. No wonder his children
kept on increasing. How many children of Abraham are here tonight? Let me hear
you shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
Study the rest of all
these people who were barren who became fruitful, they are worshippers. It is
from Hannah for example that we got the song – there is none holy as the Lord,
there is none beside Him, neither is there anyone like our God, there is nine
holy as the Lord... The first woman to sing that song is Hannah.
And the only person who
died barren, in the Bible, is the one who criticized somebody who was
worshipping God. The story is in 2 Samuel 6:20-23 David was worshipping God. He
danced so much that his stomach came out of his flowing gown and the wife
looked at him from the window and said, “king, look at you - dancing in the
midst of ordinary people until your belly came out!” David said, “I’m dancing
for the Almighty, the One who took the Kingdom from your father and gave it to
me, the One who found a little shepherd boy and made him a King! He’s the One
I’m dancing for! You have not seen anything! I’m going to dance more!” The
Bible said, God looked down from heaven and said to that woman: “No child!”
You want to retain your
victory? Be a worshipper! I’ve told you before, people have said to me, “You
are General Overseer, behave like a General Overseer, sit down you know, look
like a General Overseer! “ I said, “You will have to look for another General
Overseer! “ This one, I’m going to dance, I’m going to rejoice, I’m going to
worship Him!
Peter fell down at the feet
of Jesus! He worshipped the Almighty! You want to retain your victory? Be a
worshipper! If you are too proud to worship God, you are too proud to live and
I want to assure you when you get to hell, you will dance. You want the kind of
music they sing there? Oh, it’s a pity Fela has gone, he will tell you …haaa,
heyeye, hohoho – that’s the song they sing in hell. I’m not going to be there.
I am going to be worshipping Jesus Christ. How many worshippers are here
tonight? Come on let me hear you shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
Number two those who
would remain forever fruitful, they appreciate holiness and they hate sin.
Peter said, “This kind of miracle should not be given to a sinner like me. God
leave me alone, I’m a sinner, let me keep on suffering!” And Jesus said, “No,
you have surrendered to me. From now ion live holy and you will keep on being
fruitful!” Read Luke 1:5-7 the Bible said, concerning Zechariah and Elisabeth,
it said the two of them were blameless. They were what? Blameless!
Oh, you want to have many
children? You remember the story of that woman who said, “Well, they said, if I
come to the convention and you pray for me I will have children and you prayed
for me and nothing happened and I was going to pray again and God said, ask
her, “How many boyfriends do you have beside the husband? And she said, “Only
six.” Six only! If you want a child from the Holy One of Israel, it is you and
your husband only. If you want to include some six boyfriends only, if you get
any child that one will not be from my God it will be from the devil. If you
want to retain your victory, you must be a worshipper you must live holy.
Number three. All those
who would remain forever fruitful must be generous givers. Oh. Many of us don’t
want to hear that but let me tell you the truth. Many people have lost their
miracles because they are misers. Look at -; let’s go through some of them very
quickly.
Abraham – the day God
said that “okay, all the promises in your life will be fulfilled” was the day
he entertained God. Hannah said to God, “God, give me a son and I will give him
back to you!” I mean, we are talking of generosity! Read 1 Samuel when you get
home – on the day Hannah was going to give thanksgiving for Samuel she went
with 3 bullocks – not one! All that the Lord requires from her, if she doesn’t
have money is one dove! But she said, “God! I asked for a son, you gave me the
son, I’m going to give the son back to you but before I even give you the son,
3 bullocks.”
The trouble with many of
us is that we are too tight-fisted! We don’t want to give to God and … some of
you I’m sure if we ask you now you say, “Just wait now, Pastor, let God give me
the son, I give him back to God!” If you can’t give God money, you can’t give
God a son! Hannah said, to God: ”God, I know You need a prophet, I need a son.
Give me a son and You’ve got Your prophet!”
Just learn to be generous
brethren – and that applies in every sphere of life. Many of my friends who are
Pastors have asked me: “Tell us your secret, tell us!” I’ve even seen some
people who have said, “Tell us what you buried on the altar!” I even know a
relative of mine who said he’s a Pastor. He said, “You know we are relatives –
show me the way now!” And I showed him the way. 3 ways – I said not 1 – 3.
Number 1 – I worship because I know that without Him I can do nothing. Number
2. If you cut me into one thousand pieces each one will be crying “Holiness!”
Cut me into 1000 pieces! Each one will keep on crying: “Holiness!” Ask me to
preach one thousand sermons. Let it be on divine healing, prosperity,
deliverance, anything before that sermon is over, one way or the other, we will
smuggle in holiness. Number 3, I have learnt that if I give, God will multiply
me.
So that’s my advice to
you tonight. How many of you want to be increased by God? Increased physically
- have so many children. You know, tonight, I was just talking to Daddy as I
sat down there. I said, “Daddy, you can see now, this auditorium is too small
now, I mean there is nowhere for people to move.” He said, “But I already told
you, very soon, a new auditorium, four times as big as this one...” How many of
you want God to increase you? Physically, materially, spiritually, in all areas
of life? Let me hear you shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
Now we are going to do two
things together because of time. We will worship God, we will give our
thanksgiving offering and as we finish that one we will listen to just three or
four testimonies and then I will now tell you one or two things that God has
told me and you’ll be on you way home. This time we really want – there was
some beautiful singing coming from Raphael the other time. These Ekiti songs
let’s have them. And by the way that brother has a cassette – you know I don’t
advertise cassettes but if you listen to what he’s singing you will know what
will be in the cassette. You will just be dancing in your seat and we will
worship the Almighty God. Let’s practice giving, let’s begin to give from now.
Let’s give Him a thanksgiving offering. Let us say to Him tonight, “Daddy, You
have got somebody that You are going to increase!” Let the ushers spread all
over the place because we are running out of time, so we have to do this one
very, very fast! And you know that one of the people God is going to increase
very soon are the ushers. If you believe that say Amen (Amen!). All right,
let’s do that one quickly and let’s go on.

three. Everyone here tonight is fantastic, I mean, several people that doctors
told that they can never have a baby, they have their children now.... people
who are healed of all kinds of ailments… somebody lost her father and found a
father after prayer. Several people were healed tonight – one says he’s been
healed of asthma, one is healed of heart attack; one is healed of what is the
other one – all kinds! There’s someone here… we’ll hear this one but let’s wait
till next month. So many of them. Let’s just listen to those three tonight.
Father, we are grateful.
You are such a wonderful God. We bless Your Holy Name ands we promise You Lord,
we will be worshippers, we will live holy and Lord, we will be generous givers.
Let our miracles last forever. (Amen!) Bless the offerings of Your children and
before the return next month let everyone be full of testimonies. (Amen!) Inn

we’ll listen to your testimonies and then we say whatever else God wants us to
say and then we go.
Praise the Lord!
(Alleluia!) I’m giving this testimony to praise the Almighty God and to put the
devil to shame. June last year I went to London to go and visit my children. I
was hearty and hale before I left Nigeria. When I got to London on the 1 of
September I had some pinching in one of these my eyes, the right eye. I thought
there was dust there or something, I tried to open the eye in water, I tried
all I could, there was no help. On the 9th of September I woke up early in the
morning to brush my teeth. I brushed my teeth, to rinse my mouth, I poured
water in my mouth and the water ran to my body, I couldn’t hold, my mouth could
not hold water again. This side of my face was paralyzed. I called my children,
I told them, they said I was imagining it that there was nothing wrong with it.
I said, “Okay!”
Some days later could see
that I could not open the eye properly – I mean, I could not shut the eye –
this eye was open there completely, if I slept in the night it will open, the
other one will close, it will open, unless I pull the eyelid. We went to see
the doctor, the doctor gave me some steroids. He asked me to take six tablets a
day, that the thing would be all right. I took the medicine for 2 days, the
third day I reduced it to 3 because I knew how I was feeling in my body. My
daughter said I shouldn’t have reduced it. I said, I wanted to see the doctor.
We went back to the doctor and when the doctor saw me, he tested me. My blood
pressure had gone up sop high, my sugar had gone to 44 instead of 6½. The
doctor was perplexed he tested my urine, the urine was brick red. He was
saying, “Sorry, sorry!” He asked me to stop the steroids. (You have two minutes
ma. Yes, sir) And by the special grace of God the doctor gave me some medicine.
The doctor phoned me 3 times that night to check up whether I was in coma or
not. But when I knew that the doctor had failed I cried to God.
This pamphlet in my hand,
leaflet, was given to us for a seminar and the picture of our Daddy, Daddy
Adeboye is there. So I went into my room, at 2.00 am. I aid God! In the mighty
Name of Jesus! The Bible says where two or three are gathered together in Your
Name, You will be there and grant them their request. Here I am alone in this
room – but I am with my Daddy, Daddy Adeboye!” I said, I join my faith to his
and that the Almighty God should heal me! By this time my mouth has turned to
the left. I couldn’t talk well. I couldn’t eat well. I prayed that prayer and I
told my doctor I was going home. He said I couldn’t go that he would observe me
for one year! I refused, I said I was going home.
My daughter was crying,
saying that people are sick in Nigeria and they are brought to London and now
Mummy, you are sick in London and you are going home. I said, “Yes! I’m going
to meet my God!” “Is there no God in London?” I said, “Yes, there is God in
London but the Headquarters is in Nigeria!” When I entered into the plane I
made a covenant with the Almighty God. I said, “Father, look at my mouth. This
is the mouth I use to praise you and when I get home now people will be mocking
me. They will be laughing at me but not at me, they will be laughing at you
because you have made me in Your own image. By the time I get to Nigeria I want
my mouth to be straight! “ I left London with crooked mouth but when we got to
Murtala Mohammed I shouted “Alleluia!” I removed my shoes and I stood on the
ground and I said, ”Father, remember Your covenant with me!” I’m now in Nigeria
and I want my mouth to be straight! Those who are coming to meet me I don’t
want them to see me with crooked mouth!”
By that time I’ve lost 4
kilos so when I got to Murtala Mohammed I prayed that prayer and I went to meet
my child. My child was looking at me some how, she didn’t know what was
happening but my mouth was no more crooked but I looked lean and that night
when I prayed that prayer I wrote a letter to Daddy that he should intercede
for me but unfortunately those people that I wrote on that day didn’t receive
the letter until 5 months. So maybe Daddy didn’t even receive the letter but I
thank God when I came back I went to the doctor here whom I was referred to and
the doctor said he has nothing to give me, that my faith has healed me! Praise
the Lord! (Thank you ma, time over! Let’s give the Lord a hand that’s a big
testimony! Summarize it please. Yes sir!)

Jesus! My name is Mrs. Abimbola Fashida from Ondo State. I will like to speak
in Yoruba. Praise the Lord! God bless you. .. She has given three testimonies
together the first one was last year workers meeting she came here and the word
of knowledge came out that a woman was around then who had had disagreement
with her husband and she claimed it, And by the time she came back home there
was reunion in the home. Secondly she came for this year’s Convention, the
Almighty God healed her and her children and the recent one was what happened
yesterday. She brought her sister here who had breast cancer and the Almighty
God healed her Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord! My name
is Japhet Takwa resident in Lagos here but I come from Taraba State. I married
my wife in 1991 and as we started living together we discovered that she could
not take in and when we went to the doctor they started giving us reasons. We
started going from one hospital to the other and 1995, there was a temptation
that came to us. A sister in which we were friends went to her hometown, met
her granny and she took in and she came back and said we should follow her to
her granny,. We refused. Then the same year, 1995, somebody met us again and
said the same thing. We refused it. Behold in 1997 my wife came here for the
very first time. When she came here she came through invitation of a woman who
was also trusting God for the fruit of the womb. And that year, it was during
convention. When she came our GO called women who are trusting God for the
fruit of the womb she came out with the rest of the women and just as he said
today, some people will receive triplets and my wife believed it, she wrote it
in her notes and a month after we received message from our home that there was
a problem with our marriage; that there was a curse ancestral curse upon our
marriage. Then we were praying with our parish pastors and they said we should
pray concerning it and we prayed and broke the curse. Of course, January 1998,
toward the end my wife took in and fellow brethren in the church were laughing
saying perhaps she'’ carrying triplets we don'’ know! Behold, September 25th
1998 she gave birth to three baby boys! Praise the Lord! (Alleluia!) Praise the
Lord!
That man is a very greedy
man! – ah-ah! 3 boys! He couldn’t make it 3 boys and 1 girl! Let somebody shout
Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
Now before the final
blessing and you are on your way, please remember to pray for Liberia, the
enemy is trying to raise his ugly head again but the enemy will fail. (Amen!)
Don’t stop praying for our President, his success is our success. Pray for all
our Governors, pray for all our Obas, pray for all our rulers, if it is well
with them, it will be well with us.
Now those of you who are
trusting God for children this is what my Daddy said: “Go home and sew the
dress.” If the neighbours look at you as if you are crazy. Tell them we will
know who is crazy very soon!
And then you are going to
do something now. You will do it standing. And I want you to do it very well –
I just want you to laugh! …. Glory be to God! Alleluia! Thus says the Lord;
from now on that is how you will laugh at your enemies. (Amen!)
Father, we just want to
bless Your Name! What a wonderful night! What a faithful God you are! Thank You
for putting laughter in our mouths! Glory be to Your Holy Name Lord! I commit
all Your children into Your hands. as they go, go with them. (Amen!) Every evil
on the way we cancel now in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Let them reach home in peace.
(Amen!) Let them find peace at home. From now on let them laugh at their
enemies. (Amen!) By the time they return let them be full of testimonies.
