As far as I’m concerned I know that my joy is already full. … He is the King
of Kings, He is the Lord of Lords, His Name is
Jesus…What a mighty God we serve….. Let’s give the Lord a big hand! Glory be to God! Thank You Father!
Father! We want to bless Your Holy Name because You are worthy to be praised.
We bow down before You. We give you all glory. We give You all honour! We give You all adoration because the day has come
at last when You are going to perfect that which concerns all Your children.
Glory, glory, glory, glory, glory be to Your Holy Name. Accept our thanks in
Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Tonight Father, whatever may remain as enemies in the way
of fruitfulness of Your children, destroy in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Tonight, let
every barren become fruitful (Amen!) So that Your Name

1 Samuel 1 -
God bless You! You may be seated! - from verse 9 to
20…. 1 Samuel 1:9-20. I will read
it in English, the Yorubas can follow as we read
along:
9 So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in
Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the
priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD. 10 And
she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.
11 And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt
indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and
remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt
give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give
him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon
his head. 12 And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the
LORD, that Eli marked her mouth. 13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was
not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. 14 And Eli
said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away
thy wine from thee. 15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I
am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink,
but have poured out my soul before the LORD. 16 Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the
abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto. 17 Then
Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.
18 And she said, Let thine handmaid find
grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance
was no more sad.
19 And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped
before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.
20 Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after
Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying,
Because I have asked him of the LORD.
Now we are going to read verses 19 and 20 together in English….. Let somebody shout ‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!). I
just want to talk to you very, very briefly on the prayer of Hannah. I will be
very brief. I will just give you the skeleton and the Almighty God will cover it
with flesh.
Hannah knew that there is a living God. Hebrews 11:6 says, He that cometh to God must believe that God exists. And I
am sure you are here tonight because you know that there is a living God.
Number 2. She knows that this God can do anything. The Bible says in Psalm
62:11 that God has spoken once, twice have I heard him,
that power belongs to God. The God that you have come to meet tonight is
the one who said, Power belongs to me. He has the power to do anything as Luke
1:37 said, with God nothing shall be impossible. God had handled a case more
serious than her own before. Hannah was not 90 years old. So she knew that the
God that did that of Sarah is still on His throne and if God could do that of
Sarah, she knew that God could do her own. And I’m sure that God can do my own
too!
Number 4 Hannah knew that God is no respecter of persons. The Bible says in
Acts 10:34 that God is no respecter of persons. And in every nation wherever we
find those people who fear Him they are accepted of Him. So Hannah knew that if
God had done it for someone before. He could do it for me! If God could take
somebody who had been barren for 23 years and give that woman a child. As we saw
here last month, I am sure He will do your own also. (Amen!)
Number five Hannah knew that what God had done before He can do it again
because Malachi 3:6 says, I am the Lord, I change not and Hebrews 13:8 says,
Jesus Christ the same, yesterday and today and forever. If He has ever made one
barren person fruitful before then I am sure He can do it again. That’s why I’m
confident that those who are here tonight trusting the
Lord for the fruit of the womb, by this time next year, they will also be
rejoicing. (Amen!)
Number Six, Hannah knew that where man can fail, God cannot because the Bible
says in Numbers 23:19, it said God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man that he should repent; thus he
has spoken, it is settled. I remember in Genesis 30: 1 and 2,
that Rachel said unto Jacob, Give me a son or I die!” And Jacob said, "Am
I in God’s stead? It is not man that can produce a child. It is God. That God
will not disappoint you tonight. (Amen!) Hannah knew that this God can answer
prayers and will answer prayers. The Bible says in John 14:14, it said, If you ask anything in my name. I will do it and it said in
Psalm 50:15, it said if you call on me in the day of trouble, I will answer you.
All those who are here tonight, who are in trouble because they have been
waiting for the children to come and the children have not come, you will call
on the Lord tonight. He will answer you (Amen!), He will deliver you! (Amen!) He
will surprise you! (Amen!)
Now the Bible said that Hannah prayed, pouring out her heart unto God. She
prayed the way that she had done because she knew that only God could help her
now. She knew that the priest thought
she was drunk. The husband is helpless so she knew that there’s only one way out
and that is God. David said in Psalm 121:1 & 2, he said, I will lift up mine
eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. The one who
made heaven and earth is the one you have come to tonight... If He can make the
whole heaven and the whole earth making one baby should not be too difficult for
him. In fact a set of twins should not be too difficult for him. (Amen!) Even a
triplet – 2 boys and one girl should not be too difficult for him. (Amen!)
Hannah knew that only God could help her now.
Number 2 -
she prayed the way she prayed because she really wanted a child. There are some
people who come like this, not because they wanted a child but because if they
don’t come, their husband will say, “Why didn’t you go.” But those of you who
have come because you want children; because our God is alive. 9 months from
today you will rejoice with your own child. (Amen!)
Not only did Hannah want a child, she wanted one desperately! She really
wanted one desperately and that’s why the pray of those who are desperate are
always different from the prayers of those who don’t care. I mean if somebody
comes to someone who already got three children and they say, let’s go for
special Holy Ghost for the barren. She will say, if God didn’t give me any other
one, these three are enough. But somebody who hasn’t got one at all and wanted
one, when they say, let us pray, the prayer will be different.
The reason she wanted a child desperately is not that the husband didn’t love
her. In fact the husband told her, I am more than 9 children unto you!” But the
woman said, “thank you very much. Have you considered my co-wife that she’s
tormenting me because I have no child!” Because the
Bible says in 1 Samuel 1:6, it said, “And her adversary also provoked her sore
for to make her fret. In other words they didn’t even call her the co-wife, they called her “adversary”! In other words she was an
enemy. She was constantly tormenting her, telling her what is
the value of a tree without fruit. You are just in my husband’s house,
eating his food!” And I know there are some people like that, the in-laws have
nearly killed you: What are you doing in my son’s house? Eating our food?
Wearing our clothes? Living in our house? Without a fruit to show? I want to
prophecy to you in the name of Jesus. All those who have been laughing against
you – they will laugh with you! (Amen!)
And so Hannah felt that enough is enough; that she had suffered enough. So
she decided – I better call on God now! It wasn’t the first time she came to the
temple. Oh, she had come before! She had prayed before! But this particular day,
something told her, it is now or never because the Bible says – you must seek
the Lord while He may be found! Call on Him while He’s near! When God was fixing
today for this Special Holy Ghost Service it was not yet decided that the lady
who preached first was going to come. But the Almighty God is arranging
everything for one fellow. I'm sure that today is the day for somebody. (Amen!)
If you are the one say, “Yes, it is me!
And then the Bible says, she poured her heart out to God. She poured it out,
like when you are pouting water out of a keg -–nothing hidden at all. She wasn’t
saying this kind of educated prayer – no, no, no – she poured it out – she told
God everything – the sins she had committed, she told God! The mistakes she had
made – she told God! She poured it out – it was not a hypocritical prayer. She
said God I am here – naked before you! I know I’ve done this, I’ve done that,
I’ve done this, I’ve done that, I’ve gone wrong! I’ve offended You but I am here
because I have nowhere else to go and the Almighty God heard and responded. God
will hear somebody today. (Amen!) I say God will hear somebody today!
(Amen!)
You know when we are talking about barrenness – there is barrenness physical
– no baby. But there are barrenness spiritual – no matter how hard you try you
can’t win a soul, you can’t win a soul. You are a Pastor, you are fasting, you
are praying, you are preaching, people are coming to the church through one door
and going out through another door – spiritual barrenness.
And then there is financial barrenness – as they say in Yorubaland; the crab has been making oil for 20 years and
yet it cannot fill a bottle. Some of us have been working now for twenty years, we don’t even have a plot of land. Every form of
barrenness – physical, spiritual, financial they are going tonight in Jesus’
Name! (Amen!)
And do you know one thing about Hannah’s prayer? When God heard and responded, God gave her
the best. God gave her what? The best! Not only was Samuel a prophet, he was the
first kingmaker in Israel. Not only was he the first
kingmaker in Israel, he was
also the first kingmaker in Israel. And when you are talking
about Samuel, you are talking about power! A king took his dress and it tore. He
said, “Ah, you tore my dress! Your kingdom is torn!” Some days later, not a
single son of that king remained alive! Whenever Samuel arrived in a town. The
elders would be trembling, until they know whether he has come in peace or he
has come to quarrel. This is the son of a woman who had been called barren!
When you are going to pray tonight. Don’t pray for just a child! Ask God for
the best! Ask God for a child that will become a world evangelist! Ask for a
child that will be a hundred times greater than Pastor Adeboye. Ask for a child
that will become President! Don’t ask for just a child! After all the elders
have a saying – he who eats late, should not eat
rubbish! How many of you will get the best from God tonight? Let me hear you shout
‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!”
And I know God is going to answer your prayers tonight. How do I know?
Because He always answers my prayers and He knows that I love children! Oh, but
for one reason or the other my wife and I wanted to have twelve… we thought it
would be either twelve or fourteen! We thought eleven boys, three girls, that would be a good one so that the boys will form a
football team and the girls will be there to clap for them! Now those that I
didn’t have, you will have them for me! (Amen!) That’s why you see how I rejoice
during Convention when they begin to bring in the children. God knows that that
my desire is there so that when I pray for you tonight, it’s going to be from
the bottom of my heart! How many of you want twins? How many of you want
triplets? Let me
hear you shout ‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!”
How do I know that those of you who are spiritually barren, you will also
become fruitful? Because God knows my heart. I want all my children to be
greater than I. It will be beautiful if at the end of every month there is Holy
Ghost Service in every town with a crowd bigger than this one. It will give me
joy. I have heard people say that some great people don’t want people to be
greater than them. They must be very stupid! The greatness of a father is
determined by the greatness of his children. If the father is great and the
children are less, very soon the father will be forgotten. But if the father is
great and the children are greater and the grandchildren are greater than the
children that father will never be forgotten. That is why all of you will be
greater than you in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!)!
And then why do I want you who are barren financially to become fruitful?
Because my wealth is determined by your wealth. If I stand here today and I say,
“My children, I want to go to my town tomorrow and I have no car. Will somebody
please help me with his car?” How many of you will release your car with the
driver and petrol? Let me
hear you shout ‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!” But if you have no car, you
will just begin to put one hand on the other, “Daddy we want to help but ehhh..” That is why, those of you
who are here today, who don’t even know where you are going to get the money to
pay your rent. Before the end of this year, God will surprise you! (Amen!)
Only one thing can hinder your prayer tonight and that is sin. David said in
Psalm 66:18, he said, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, God will not hear me”
Now if God doesn’t hear, how can He answer? I want God to hear you tonight. If
He hears, He will answer! When I saw the thousands, several thousands who came
forward with their children last month and I was dancing, God whispered to me.
He said, “You haven’t seen all of them!” He said, “There are many who are
already pregnant.” He said, “They will bring their own next year.” Then I said,
Daddy, thank you for those who have brought their children. Thank You for those
who have brought their children, but like Oliver Twist, I want more.” That’s why
He said you should come this month. Those of you who are here, trusting God for
the issue of the womb, tonight is your night. (Amen!) Turn to your neighbour and say, tonight is my night.
But if you are here and you have not surrendered your life to Jesus. If I
regard sin in my heart, God won’t hear. But you can come and give your life to
Jesus now. Like Hannah did – to come and pour out your heart to God and say,
“Lord, I am a sinner, just have mercy on me, save my
soul. That’s all I’m asking for!. If you are here and
you are not yet born again, male or female, come now, come quickly, I have only
2 minutes for that because our time is going fast. So if you want to give your
life to Jesus, come, He’s calling you, this is your night, come and surrender
your life to him and say “Father, forgive all my sins. If I’m to count my sins
one by one, even I know that they are many. I know they are many. I have lied, I
have cheated, I have fornicated, I have done several wrong things, but Father,
have mercy on me! Save my soul! Save my soul!” As you
come, begin to call on Him, begin to pray and say, “Father, I have come for
mercy. Have mercy on me Lord! Save my soul! Forgive my sins! I have come to
surrender to you Lord! Just have mercy on me! Forgive all my sins!” Open your
mouth and begin to pray! Begin to pray!
Those of you all ready born-again begin to pray for them! “Father, have mercy
on me! I’ve come to confess my sins! There’s nothing I can hide from You! You
know everything! So please, just have mercy on me Lord... Have mercy on me, my
father and my God!” Men and women! If you are not yet born again – come! Come
and call on the Almighty God! Say, ”God, have mercy on
me! Save my soul! Save my soul! Save my soul! Father, Save my soul! Save my
soul! Have mercy on me O Lord! Have mercy on me! Have mercy on me! Have mercy on
me! Have mercy on me! Have mercy on me Lord! Have mercy on me Lord! Just forgive
me! Forgive me! Just save my soul O Lord! Save my soul O Lord! Save my soul O
Lord! I have come to you tonight Lord to expose myself before You. There’s
nothing about me that You don’t know! Have mercy on me, Lord! Forgive all my
sins and just save my soul! Save my
soul! Father, save my soul! Save my soul tonight! Save my soul tonight! Save my
soul tonight! Save my soul tonight! Father Save my soul tonight! Save my soul
tonight! Have mercy on me Lord! Have mercy on me Lord! Just have mercy on me, my
Father and my God! I’ve come to You tonight to open up to You Lord! I have

tonight and we will praise You for it. Thank You Father! In Jesus’ mighty Name
we have prayed! (Amen!)
Father, we bless Your Name because Your Word says, No man can come unto me
unless my Father draws him.” Thank You for drawing us and thank You that we have
responded. Accept our thanks in Jesus’ Name. Father, if there are others in the
congregation who are not yet born again and you are drawing them and they are
resisting, Father, let them begin to run forward now! (Amen!) Before we finish
this prayer, let them be in the front in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Now Father, we
commit these Your children into Your hands. You said whosoever will come unto
You You will in no wise cast out. They have come now.
Receive them in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Whatever sins they have committed in the
past – no matter how terrible, forgive them tonight in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Your
blood that cleanses from all sins let it wipe away all their sins in Jesus’
Name! (Amen!) Father, save their souls (Amen!) Write their names in the book of
life. (Amen!) And Lord, even as we begin to pray now, everything we shall ask
for, give to us in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Thank You Father! In Jesus’ mighty Name
we have prayed! (Amen!) Amen!
Now those of you in front, please just stay here. This is Holy Ghost Night.
God just wants to do His own thing, His own way. I can feel the presence of the
HS in a mighty way right now…. The rest of us where we are we will also stand
and we are going to lift our voices unto God – whatever you want from God, this
is the time to ask. Forget everybody. Open your mouth and cry unto the Lord.
Tell Him what you want from Him! Open your mouth now and cry unto the Lord! …
Thank You Father! Ohh Thank You Lord! Thank You Lord!
In Jesus’ mighty Name we pray! (Amen!) Amen! (Amen!)
Now I want you to pray another prayer very quickly! The Spirit of God is
moving in a mighty way right now! I want you to cry unto the Lord and say,
“Father, Hannah got the best! In my
life, in my home, in my business, in everything pertaining to me Father, give me
the best! Give me the best! Give me the best! Give me the best! Give me the
best! Give me the best! Give me the best! Father Give me the best! Give me the
best! Give me the best! Give me the best! Give me the best! … Thank You Father!
Alleluia! Thank You Father! Thank You Lord! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have
prayed! (Amen!)
Finally, I want you to cry unto God and say, “Father, through me let the
whole world glorify Your Name.” Let’s talk to the Almighty God. ‘Through me O
Lord, let the whole world glorify Your Name! …
Thank You Father! Blessed be the Name of the Lord! In Jesus’ mighty Name

My Father and my God, Eternal Rock of Ages, there is no one like you! (Amen!)

who are barren, physically, spiritually, financially, in any other way, let them

the best, Elisabeth got the best, all those who are
trusting You for the fruit of the womb and all those who are trusting You
for one breakthrough or the other, Father, tonight, give us the best! (Amen!)

Right! Now those of you who have come forward, I want to rejoice with you and
I want to promise you that I will be praying for you. Tonight, the Almighty God
wants to do something very special in our midst, not only those who are trusting
God for the fruit of the womb but anyone who will notice any form of barrenness
in his or her life, tonight is your night for deliverance. (Amen!) When we
return the ministers of God are going to lay hands on as many of you as want to
be laid hands on. But the Lord told me this afternoon while I was in prayer that
before they lay hands on you, I should lay hands on them so that through them
tonight by the grace of God my hand will touch every one of you. (Amen!) Now
through my humble hands His hand will touch every one of you. (Amen!) So while
we are waiting for those people, we’ll be laying hands on the ministers. You
will please come. Once one row is full the rest of you will come and then you
will take your position again …… Lord I lift Your Name on high…. Glory be to Your Holy Name! Accept our thanks in Jesus’ Name! Thank
You Father! Glory be to Your Name forever. In Jesus’

(Alleluia!) Thank You Lord! I know this is one night we will not forget in a
hurry. (Amen!) And there’ll be testimonies galore in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!)
I just want to point out one or two things quickly and then we’ll begin to
wind down. Don’t forget, December 14, 15 and 16 will be for Holy Ghost Festival
and I’ve told you that Daddy said that Lekki ’98 and
Festival ’99 were just warm up for the Festival 2000. For this one it is going
to be “Open Heavens”. People are coming from all over the world and as they say
in Yorubaland, I will not be by the fire and still
develop maggots. I believe so shall it be for you also in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!).
Tell your friends to mark off those days from their calendar, those are days that should not be given for
anything at all! It is going to be absolutely wonderful. I am already excited
because I know what Daddy has told me about it. Don’t forget – Glory be to God! – don’t forget next month is a Special Holy Ghost
Service for Nigeria. It’s going to be very, very
great.
And once again please, I am begging you, if anybody comes to you in my
name,, in the name of my wife or he claims to be very
close to the GO – the moment he talks about money just send for the police!
Recently, just some days ago, one fellow went to Akure, claimed to be an elder in the church, a close friend
of the General Overseer and he started collecting money from people. In spite of
all my warnings! Anything about money, anything about business – I am not
involved.
Then I heard that somebody told someone that Pastor Adeboye was expecting
several million dollars from America and when the money got to
Nigeria, some people seized the money
and they were telling the fellow, they were telling: If you bring some naira we
will give you part of the dollar. If you are not mad, you should know that that
is 419 straight away! I have said it again and again and again – anything you
see on this camp, the only foreign help we have is from God. Every other thing
is done by naira – your generous contributions – that’s all! I don’t go abroad
begging for money. I have never been a beggar. I will never be one! (Amen!) It
is us by the grace of God, taking our naira to go and conduct Holy Ghost Service
abroad! We don’t get help from anywhere, except from God. And if it is even true
that somebody wanted to give money to a man of God and some people seized it on
the way and then you want to share in it – then there must be something wrong
with you too. So anything that has to do with money or business, the moment they
mention my name along with it – get the police!
Not only that, I receive several letters now: Daddy, I did a business with so
and so; they didn’t pay my money so help me collect my money.” When did I become
debt-collector? You didn’t inform me when you were entering into the business.
If everything ended up in gain, I won’t hear anything about it! Now they want me
to be debt collector. That is not my calling. Let me face the job that God has
given me to do. Do I hear ‘Amen’ to that? (Amen!)
Okay, 1st Samuel 1:11
And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on
the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and
not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the
LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.
We find here Hannah making a very important vow to the Lord: God give me a
son and I will give him back to you” And her prayers were answered immediately.
Why? Because God needed a prophet. Eli has gone rotten. His children had gone
completely away from the Lord. So God was looking for a prophet and Hannah was
looking for a son. So Hannah said to God, You give me a son and You will get the
prophet that you need. What is the importance of vows in prayers?
Number one you need to know that you cannot bribe God. You cannot buy
precious things like a child from God with money. However, whenever you make a
vow, you challenge God. When you say, “God do this for me and I will do this for
You!” God will say, “All right, let us find out whether you will keep your
promise.” Then He will do what you have asked for so as to finds out whether you
will remember your vow or not. So a vow challenges God. For example in Genesis
28:20-22 Jacob vowed and said unto God, “If You will prosper me, I will build a
house for You and I will pay my tithes.” And God said fine, now you are making a
promise when you have nothing at all, I will prosper you and then I will see
what you will do. The Bible tells us, in Genesis 30:43 that Jacob became
exceedingly great. God said, “All right! You want me to prosper you and then you
will do certain things for me? I will not just prosper you lightly, I will
prosper you exceedingly.” And I know there is someone here tonight who will make
a vow unto God and say “God do this for me and I will do this for you” and I can
guarantee you, by this time next year you’ll be singing a new song!
I remember I made a vow to the Lord, after I became born again: “Lord heal me and I will serve You.” And He healed me instantly.
And He waited for some time and came back and said, “What about your own part of
the bargain?” That’s why I’m standing before you tonight.
When you make a vow unto the Lord you challenge Him. You say Lord, do this for me and I will do this for You.” I would
advise that those of us who are trusting God, particularly for the fruit of the
womb, we too will go to God and say, Father, do this for me and I will do this
for You.”
Now it is important that once you have made a vow, that you pay your vow. In
Deuteronomy 23:21 the Bible says, if you make a vow and you don’t pay it God
will regard it as a sin. In fact in Ecclesiastes 5:4 & 5 the Bible says that
when you make a vow, you must not even delay to pay the vow! But the most
important thing about vow that I discovered is in Psalm 50:14 & 15. I have
already quoted verse 15 tonight but you will not know the meaning of verse 15
unless you have read verse 14.
Verse 15 is the one that says, if you call on me in the day of trouble I will
answer you and I will deliver you and you shall glorify me. But when you read
verse 14 you will see the condition before that particular verse can be
operative. Psalm 50:14 Offer unto God thanksgiving and pay thy vows unto the
most high and call upon me in the day of trouble, I will deliver thee and thou
shalt glorify me. Now those of us who can read, when
you look at verse 14 at the end of it there is no full stop. The sign there is
saying that the story continues in verse 15. It said do two things. One, offer
unto God, thanksgiving and we are going to thank Him tonight and then number
two, pay your vows unto the most high and then when you now call on the Lord in
the day of trouble. He will surely deliver you and you will glorify Him.
I’m going to give you two minutes, those of us who want to make a vow. I have
made several vows before and I can tell you one thing, God has never failed
on His own. For example, I remember when we were
building this auditorium and everything became very, very tight and I didn’t
even know what to do next. And I looked at myself one day and said, Am I not a
fool? Am I not a fool? Who asked me to embark on something this huge when I know
I have no money in the bank?”
Many people think that Redeemed Christian Church of God is very rich. So are
we because we have a God who is very rich. But there are moments when there will
not even be enough money to repair a car and we tell the mechanic, “We will
leave it till next month.” Why? Because the little that comes in, there are so
many avenues waiting to swallow it. So I cried to the Lord, "Father finish this work on time and I will do the following. I won’t
tell you what the following is! That’s not your business. But the Almighty God
made sure that one week before the Convention of that year, the auditorium was
ready.
When we first got to this camp, I made a vow to the Lord – there are so much to be done, 3 months to do all of them. Father,
if you do all this within three months, I will do the following. And He did
everything, it remains only one week to go – and we had problem with water. Now
we’ve told all the children of God –Ehhh! Convention
is at the camp!” But there is no water. As we were digging the wells the wells
were collapsing! Father, if You finish this thing before the Convention, I will
do the following”.
Seven days to the Convention one man was driving past and saw some activities
going on here and he branched. And said, “Ah-ah, what’s going on here?” “Oh we
want to build a camp for Christian gatherings. And he said, “What do you need?”
The only problem we have is water. As we were digging the wells they were
collapsing. He said, “What you need is a borehole.” I said, I know! It is what I
will use to drill it that is not there. He said, “I will drill one for you!”
“Thank you very much sir but what we need now, we need it in one week time –
water, next week. The one you say you will drill, maybe that will be useful next
year.” It was a Saturday. He said, “The engineers will report tomorrow.” Sunday
evening the engineers came and they worked non-stop until they reached water. As
they were drilling we were building the tank where we will put the something.
The night before the Convention began, during moonlight, was when we were
carrying the overhead tank to put on top. When the children of God arrived the
following day water was flowing like nobody’s business!
I want you to bow your heads for 2 minutes and challenge the Almighty! Say,
“Father do so-and-so for me and I will do so-and-so for
you.” Talk to Him for a minute and I will pray with you in a moment. Just tell
Him, Father, I know that You are the Almighty, there is nothing You cannot do.
Do so-and-so for me and I will do so-and-so for You!”
Lets begin to bring our discussion between us and
God to a close. In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed! Father You have heard Your children. I am asking that You will surprise
them. (Amen!) Prove to them my Father and my God that You can do much more than
they have asked for and do it very quickly in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) And when
You’ve done it for them Father, whatever they’ve vowed now give them the grace
to fulfill in Jesus’ Name!. Thank You Father! In Jesus’
mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!) If you believe it is done let me hear you
shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
Just two things quickly and we will be on our way. Now we want to take one or

Now while these people are coming it is time to give
our thanksgiving offering to the Lord. I thought you were going to shout
Alleluia! on that one! Alleluia! The lady who spoke to
us earlier tonight had revealed to you my number one secret. I have discovered
long ago, if I can only praise God sufficiently I will have no problems at all.
I’m sure you have never heard me, during any of our services that I begin to
say, “Satan, I command you, get out of here!
I bind you! I tie you up!” No and I hear people pray like that when I go
to their services. You bound him yesterday…he got lose between yesterday and
today? Now I don’t waste my time with that useless fellow. All I know is that if
I praise God sufficiently He will come down. And when light comes, what will
happen to darkness? I don’t waste my time telling Satan – “Get out of
here!” Many of you honour Satan more than he is worth. Praise God, that’s all
you need and when you praise Him, God will arise and when God arises his enemies
will scatter.
We will remain seated but we will sing along with the band and then give our
thanksgiving offering to the Lord. How many of you are ready to praise Him
tonight? Now when it is time to praise the Lord your body may tell you you’re
tired. Tell that body, I’m never going to be tired!” Tell your neighbour, “I will never be tired.” Say it as if you mean
it! Okay! Over to you now!

praised…..Jesus I love you oh, You do well, I thank you oh, you don make my life
betta…. Victory, victory, alle,alle, Jesus conquered the devil, pata, pata…..Alleluia! Alleluia!

Use it for Your glory. And I pray that all these people who are thanking You

I am Sister Adeoye Yemisi. In 1996 I developed a very heavy menstruation but I
came to the Holy Ghost Service, the Youth Holy Ghost Service in 1999 and our
Father in the Lord spoke a Word of Knowledge concerning this case of mine and
immediately I caught that miracle but unfortunately I couldn’t come out because
I was expecting every manifestation of that heavy menses to leave me because the
doctor has already diagnosed fibroid. I want to thank God because later I keep
on trusting God, praying, coming to the Holy Ghost
Services, attending the Mount Zion hour. I want to thank God today
because my menstruation period which has been a period of reproach, a period of
shame to me – is now over I want to thank God because my battle is over! Praise
the Lord! (Alleluia!)
Chief Emmanuel Adeoti Osunti Our brother is testifying to the glory of God. He was
formerly the leader of the witches and the wizards but the Lord revealed himself
to him about five times in the dream. He’s now born again. Glorify God with him.

My name is Otunba Wole
Odusanya, that is the name that people call me but the
last 4 years I’ve been addressed as Evangelist Wole
Odusanya when I saw that I must serve my God. I give
God all the glory because He’s a good God. Last year I had an attack of
jaundice. My eyes, palm, feet became yellow and instantly it was turning green.
We went to UCH, all the reports and the doctors said to my friends, “Go and
comfort him, he will die.” But I know that I have a God who has always been
saying to me that you will not die but live to proclaim the goodness of the
Lord. I refuse! I rejected it. Well, when there was Holy Ghost Night here in
November my strength couldn’t come to the auditorium but I know that there is a
God on this Zion, that every area of the land here. Jesus is there! So I checked
into the room – 107 – I couldn’t get down into the camp even to the auditorium
but I was following the service. Healing was coming on gradually. The bilirubin – well, I’m not a medical personnel but what the
report we got from the hospital from all the tests the total bilirubin that was supposed to be 0-1 mine went to 25.7! And
of course SGOT all sorts! My wife thought it was over. Well she’s a pharmacist
she can see the dotted lines. But I know that coming to the camp, wherever I
stay on the camp, healing is there waiting for me. So I came! I broke all the
rules! As if that was not enough Satan was not going to let loose. At a point in
time the General Overseer said, “Bring him down to our seats.” We take care. But
the thing became tense. The June Holy Ghost Service I was in the room 107 again.
I sent a note to Papa Adeboye, I said this is urgent
oh!” You cannot do anything about this unless you see me or send for me after
the Holy Ghost Night on Saturday the 2nd or 3rd of June.
Papa couldn’t see me. Then he minuted a note to the
Almighty GO Establishments,
Pastor M.O. Ojo. Eventually he saw me. I
was waiting in Baba’s office. Baba Ojo was waiting for
me in the International House. I couldn’t breath, I couldn’t talk, even when I
pick the phone it is problem to stay on the phone for long! But we then prayed.
I trusted that well the unction, because what I wrote in the note is that I
needed that unction! I was to travel overseas that month and I’m sure my wife
was believing that maybe they will bring back my
corpse. At a point in time, I started feeling the same way too. But to the glory
of God we had a pray that morning. I delayed my going but I saw that strength
came. I told the children, “I am healed!” But the
couldn’t still believe themselves. They said, “You still have to come!”
Okay. I then waited for the wonders night here in the camp on the
23rd June then I could walk straight to the auditorium! I said, the
Lord that Papa Adeboye is serving, that all these Pastors,. anointed men of God and all of us
are here with, is a faithful God. But I told the children, “Don’t worry, I am
healed!” They said “No.” Okay, I will go on holidays but whatever business you
want to make, make your arrangements. I travelled out
to London. They
put me in the Cromwell Hospital. They checked all the details.
The bilirubin already that was supposed to be 0-1
which went to 25 came to .5! I was going to give this testimony during the
Convention, because my children came, 2 of them came from London and Luton to listen to the testimony because they
couldn’t believe themselves. But I gave this testimony in Jesus House Baltimore
because it was boiling on me, I must say it somewhere. However when we got
there, to the Cromwell Hospital …..They are saying that you
should round up, thank you very much! Let’s give the Lord a big hand. Let’s
rejoice with our brother. Let’s give the Lord a big hand! Glory be to God!

Praise the Lord! Praise the living Jesus. I am Mrs. Jesus. O. Afolabi, my daughter got married in 1997 and when the girl
didn’t conceive in time we started hearing stories and as a result of that I
developed hypertension and things started going down from every corner. My
relations noticed that and one of such relations is in this congregation this
morning and when she saw that I was really suffering, physically and mentally
she suggested to me that I should go and see our Father in the Lord.. When I
went to the Headquarters our Father in the Lord was not around. I was given a
piece of paper to put down whatever my problems were. I did. In the process of
writing them, our Father in the Lord passed by and that was my first time of
seeing him. I left the letter. I forgot all about it but the surprise thing in
my life is that later, I think about 6 or 4 weeks after I got a reply. Very
short reply. Our Father in the Lord prayed for me in the reply and he said at
the tail-end of the letter – you will come and give testimony! On the third, and
a sister-in-law of mine is in this church this morning too, is a witness to what
I’m saying – on the 3rd of August my daughter had a baby girl! And as
I soon as I knew that the girl became pregnant I was getting better. I went to
hospital. I kept on telling God, if water is given to me by the doctor, let
water work and heal me! And today I am happy to stand before the men of God as a
healthy somebody and I’m proud to be associated with the Redeemed Christian
Church of God! Praise the Lord! with me! Alleluia!

My name is Olori Antonia Falabi. I want to testify to the Word of God that comes from
our Father in the Lord during Convention time of 1999 which says, Father you are
too much! Father has been too much for me since that August Convention 1999. I
asked for 14 things and those 14 things met the divine touch of Almighty God in
100% folds! Among it is the salvation of some of my beloved ones. My aged mother
saw Jesus Christ face to face in her dream. She saw Jesus Christ as the light.
She said immediately she saw the light, the light was so big that she was
afraid. Then said, What is this?” Then she was just hearing from through the
light that: Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesu. Then my mother said she asked, “What do you want
me to do?” My mother ran immediately, sat down, according to her, on the bed and
later the light appeared to her again shouting, Jesus, Jesus” Then asked, “What do you
want me to do? Okay I accept Jesus as my personal Saviour!” Now I give glory to God for the salvation of those
ones that have been saved since that last year and even my mother! I give glory
to God for every other good thing that the Lord has done! God has been too much
for me! Help me to praise God! Alleluia! (Alleluia!)

Convention I was here on the Friday. When our Father in the Lord normally
ministers to those trusting God for the fruit of the womb. But I came here with
a very heavy heart that I had been coming for this Convention for up to 5 years
and nothing, nothing. So that day I said I wasn’t coming out. When they now
called us. I laid a mat on the floor and I slept off and I told God that if
indeed the testimony of our Father in the Lord gave about the lady that had no
womb yet had 3 children.. Then God will come and do my
own for me and that you have to prove that what he was saying is true. But to
God be the glory that December ’98 the doctor said, “No way!” And you know I was
still discouraged. But by March my husband was coming in from Kaduna and they met Pastor Biodun Coker at the airport and they were waiting for our
Father in the Lord who was coming in to Kaduna for Rev. Joe
Olaiya’s programme. And my
husband stayed with him and Pastor Biodun introduced
him to our Father in the Lord and our Father in the Lord shook his hands and you
know, it was like – God, for a man of God to shake my hand then my problems are
over! And our Father in the Lord needed to use the convenience. He volunteered
to take him there and when he came out again, he shook his hand the second time
and then my husband now said, “Ah! All my problems are over!” And that when he
got home he was going to lay the hands on me. And that was what he did. And you
know, he didn’t even tell me anything, he just came and started laying the hands
all over my body. And I said, ah what’s the matter
now!” And he said, that “See you, you’ve been in Redeemed for how many years you
have not shaken the hands of our Father in the Lord and that see me oh, not once
bit twice! And that believe me oh – all our problems are over! And to God be the
glory, May that year, I took in and God blessed me with a bouncing baby boy in
January! Praise the Lord! Alleluia!
My name is Adeola Davis, I
was once a diabetes victim but I thank God that the Lord healed me. I was sick
so I came home. My auntie took me to the hospital for blood test. So on
collecting the result they said I had HIV positive. I now said, I’m not the owner of that result! How could that be? So my
sister told me that I should go to the camp and pray; that she didn’t believe
that the something is real. So I now did another result so when the result came
out it was negative. I just thank God for that.
Let somebody shout ‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!) I want you to stretch your hands
forward. Father I pray that the anointing in this hand of mine will jump into
all these hands right now in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Lay it on your head and say –
my problems are over! If you believe that shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
The Lord said that there is a woman here you want children but you are afraid
of birth pain. The Lord asked me to tell you, His grace shall be sufficient.
(Amen!)
The Lord also said there is someone here, the story of your life can be
written as still birth. In other words, whenever your hopes are high, just when
it is about to become a reality, it will be dashed. Now the Lord asked me to
tell you, from tonight, the tide has turned. (Amen!)
And then the Lord said there’s someone here, I don’t know what it is that you
have done for the Lord but the Lord says, I am very
happy with you (Amen!)
The Lord also said there is someone here, in your dreams you have been having
sex with someone who had died. When you wake up you realize that, “Oh, that
fellow had died!” The Lord asked me to tell you – that demon will never visit
you again. (Amen!)
Let’s stand on our feet. Father we want to bless Your Name. What a wonderful
night! What a glorious night! Glory be to Your Holy
Name! Father, I commit Your children into Your hands as they go. Please go with
them. (Amen!) Protect them. (Amen!) Support them. (Amen!) Bless them. (Amen!) On
the way, let them meet with peace. (Amen!) At home, let them meet with peace.
