When the children of Israel were on their way to the Promised Land and
they came to Jericho they came face to face with a wall – so
big, so thick that it looked as if the end of the journey had come at last but
then someone called the Lord of Hosts (clapping). He stepped into the situation
and He asked the people to do one thing – young men, old men, rich ones, poor
ones, priests and laymen – He asked them to shout – they did and the wall fell!
I know you are ready but you have to wait for the signal. We’re going to do
it together as one and we are not just going to make any sound – we are going to
shout Alleluia!! Are you ready now? All right. Let somebody shout ‘Alleluia!’
(Alleluia!) Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Thank You Jesus! Alleluia! Thank You Lord!

Whenever we talk about deliverance you need to know that there is warfare
involved. It means there is somebody who has been captured. There is somebody
who captured him and there is somebody who is coming to deliver the one who has
been captured. So there’s bound to be warfare and when there is war, one thing
that is characteristic of warfare – when there is war is that there is noise. So
if you don’t like noise tonight you can begin to go home now. There are people
here who …. You have to let me finish – all I was about to say is this: There
are some people here tonight who are tired of suffering.” Now let those people
now shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)…
Once upon a time the children of Israel and the Philistines were at war and then
the Ark of the Covenant of God was brought into the camp of the children of
Israel and the children of
Israel shouted. When the Philistines
heard the shout they were frightened. They said, “What’s the meaning of this
noise?” They said, “Oh it means, God has come to camp.” God has come to camp tonight. (Amen!) He’s
here to fight for somebody. Let that somebody shout another Alleluia!

So let’s respectfully go before the Lord of Hosts and just worship the

Well the Lord says there’s someone here tonight who says he’s coming to find
out how powerful Pastor Adeboye is.
Well Pastor Adeboye has no power but he has a father that is the Almighty.
(Amen!) Now whoever you are I have thought, I will just ignore you and just
continue with the program but you see God has no pleasure in the death of a
sinner. God has no pleasure in the death of a sinner. Whoever you are, In order
that they may not bury you on Monday I ask you to come out now – to come and
pray and ask my Father to forgive you. We will put it down as ignorance. We will
just put it down as ignorance. I will count up to 10. If you are not here by the
time I say ‘10’ I will continue and you will bear your own blood! And please,
let’s close our eyes so we don’t embarrass whoever the fellow is. Let’s give the

Now those of you who are in front, cry to the Almighty God now and ask Him to
forgive you! Ask God to forgive you! Call on him! Say, “Lord I will never test
Your power again! Just forgive me! Have mercy on me today! Have mercy!” And the
rest of us, let’s pray for them! Let’s lift our voices to the Almighty God and
ask God to be merciful – that He will forgive and spare their lives! Let’s pray
for them! The Almighty God will have mercy on them! Just forgive, forgive
Father, spare their lives, save their souls Lord! Let them become vessels unto
honour in Your hands Lord! Let them become vessels unto honour in Your hands
Lord! Don’t let them die my Father and my God! Please have mercy on them! Have
mercy on them! Have mercy on them! Thank You my Father! My Lord and my Saviour,
I just want to thank You because You are a merciful God! Accept our thanks in
Jesus’ Name! Father, Your Word says, If anyone will confess His sin and forsake
them he will obtain mercy. I commit these people into Your hands. Because they
have come out I trust they will not go back to sin. Have mercy on them in Jesus’
Name! (Amen!). Forgive every one of them in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!). Spare their
lives Lord and let them become vessels unto honour in Your hands In Jesus’

You see before the interruption God was saying there’s someone here today for
a long time your life can be considered a dry ground. The Lord asked me to tell
you, beginning from today the rain will begin to fall. (Amen!)
So Father, we just want to bless Your Holy Name. We know this is a special
night. We know You will bless us, we know You will save souls. We know You will
heal. We know You will deliver. We know there’ll be miracles Lord! Accept our
thanks in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!). Thank You my Father! Glory be to Your Name! In
Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!) Let somebody shout ‘Alleluia!’
(Alleluia!) Shake hands with one or two people and tell them: “God is here for
me! God is here for me!”
All right! John 8:32-36. And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set
you free………..if the son shall make you free ye shall be free indeed. Somebody’s
going to be free tonight! (Amen!) Thank You Father!
There’s somebody here that your headache is always aggravated by noise. The
Lord asked me to tell you, the headache is gone and will never come back.
Jesus Christ said You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.
And then He went on to say, “If the Son, that is if the Lord Jesus Christ
Himself, shall make you free, then you shall be free indeed. Somebody’s going to
be free indeed tonight, (Amen!) I am going to share some truths with you – at
least the little that I know and I believe that as you see these truths- because
they are the truths from the Bible not the truth that somebody just thought
about - the truth that is Bible-based,
as you discover these truths and accept them, suddenly you will discover that
freedom will come.
Truth number one is that there is a battle for your soul but Jesus will win!
(Amen!) The Bible says in John 4:24. It said, God is a spirit. God is what? A
spirit! You need to take note of that and when you also read Ezekiel 28:14 and
Isaiah 14:12 You combine these 2 verses you will discover that the devil, or
Lucifer, or Satan, by whatever name you want to call him, is a fallen angel and
Hebrews 1:13 & 14 tells us that angels are spirits. So the devil is a
spirit, a fallen spirit. And then when you read 1 Thessalonians 5:23 the Bible
says you yourself are a spirit! So God is a spirit, a Holy Spirit. The devil is
a spirit, a fallen spirit and you are a spirit – you have a soul and you live in
a body but the real you is inside and it is a spirit. Now the devil wants you,
he wants you; he wants to use you as food! The devil is keenly interested in you
because he wants to destroy you – that’s what the Bible says in 1 Peter 5:8. It
said the devil is a roaring lion, is walking about seeking whom he may
devour. I believe he will not find you
tonight. (Amen!)
So the devil wants you for food and God wants you for rest! In Matthew 11:28
He said, “Come unto me all ye that labour And Are heavy laden and I will give
you rest.” So God, the Holy God, is a holy spirit, is standing on the right. The
devil, a fallen spirit is standing on the left and you are standing in the
middle. The devil is saying, “Come to my side so I can eat you!” God is saying,
“Come to my side that I might give you rest.” The question tonight is – on whose
side are you going? I didn’t hear the answer. Who will you go with?
The Bible says in James 1: 17 that God is light, absolute light. As for the
devil, he’s darkness, absolute darkness. Unfortunately the Bible says that the
son of man prefers darkness to light. But there are few of us who prefer light
to darkness. I know I am one of them – I prefer light to darkness. Now there is
a constant struggle between darkness and light but light will always win. That is why of you cooperate with God, the
Bible says light shines into darkness and darkness cannot overcome it. If you
cooperate with God tonight you will become a winner. (Amen!) I say you will
become a winner! (Amen!)
God says in His Word that as many as will receive Him to them has he given
power to become sons of God. If you surrender your life to God, if you surrender
to Jesus and when I say surrender I mean complete surrender – then you become a
child of God and when I go through the Scriptures I find that God will go to any
extent to defend His own children. That is why I’m sure that all those who are
not pretending but who are truly committed to God, when they are going home
tomorrow morning they’ll be singing the songs of deliverance. (Amen!)
In Exodus 4:22-23 God said to Pharaoh, “Israel is my
first born. Let them go. If you don’t let them go I will kill your first-born.
And then my son will still go!” I know God is talking to someone here tonight. I
know God is saying to those people who are holding you in bondage, He’s saying
to them, listen, Adeboye is my son, if you don’t let him go I will kill you own
son and then my son will still go!” Who is God talking to at all? Who is going
to be free tonight? Let me hear somebody shout ‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!).
He told Pharaoh, “Let my son go. If you don’t let him go – I will kill your
son. My son will still go. If you pursue my son then I will drown you! In the
life of somebody today Pharaoh will drown. (Amen!) I didn’t hear your ‘Amen!’
(Amen!)
God said, “If you bless my son, you will be blessed; if you curse my son then
I will curse you. When you think about the extent to which God will go to defend
his own – to protect his own, to deliver His own…. your faith should rise tonight, that tonight
your deliverance is a settled matter. (Amen!)
Any battle over you will no longer be your battle because God will fight for
you. David said to Goliath, he said,
“The battle is the Lords and He will give you into our hands” The only people I
pity are the enemies of God who refuse to repent because God is going to show
them fire tonight. (Amen!) If you’re not one of them you should be able to say
‘Amen’ then. (Amen!) After all God said to Moses – tell the children of
Israel: look at your enemies very
well because all the enemies you see today you will never see them again.
(Amen!) As it was then so it shall be today in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!). If you are
a true child of God, when the enemies hear about you they should tremble, they
should melt.
In Joshua 2:1-11 the Bible says, when Joshua sent spies to go and spy
Jericho and they
stayed in a woman’s house, the woman went and hid them in the roof when she
heard that the people of the town were coming for them. The Bible said before
they lay down to sleep the woman came to them and said. We have heard about your
God and when we heard about your God we feared exceedingly and there was no
strength left in us. Tonight, all the enemies that followed you here and those
who stayed at home, they will hear about your God! (Amen!) and they will
tremble! (Amen!)
If a child of God therefore should lose a battle it can only mean one thing –
that that child of God has gone into sin. If you have fallen into sin and if you
go into sin it becomes difficult for a holy God to defend a sinful son. In
Joshua 7:1-12, when the children of Israel fled before their enemies and
Joshua fell on his face before God, “God how can this happen? Are you not the
Lord of Hosts? How can this happen to us? God said, “Why are you lying down? Get
up my friend! Israel has sinned that’s why I can’t
go with them any more. Until they remove the accursed thing from among them.” I
beg you tonight brethren, a day like this comes only once in a lifetime! Anyone
here who is still joking with sin, you have to make up your mind tonight and say
bye-bye to sin because if you do something great will happen tonight.
Deliverance will come tonight!
When you read Psalm 107:7-20 the Bible says, fools – and I know there are no
fools here tonight – because of their sins and because of their transgressions
were afflicted. Then problem came. They were almost dying. Then they remembered
God and they cried to Him. Then He sent His Word and he healed them and
delivered them from all their distresses. God is going to send His Word to you
tonight! (Amen!) I can’t hear your ‘Amen’. (Amen!) And the Word will heal you.
(Amen!) The Word will deliver you! (Amen!)
I said that one to prepare the ground for what we want to discuss tonight.
Because again and again I have heard all kinds of things said about different
kinds of deliverance ministers. I’m sorry to say some of them need deliverance
themselves. I am not a deliverance minister. I am a minister of the gospel. My
own ministry is the whole gospel – the entire counsel of God – salvation,
healings, deliverance, prosperity, holiness, victory, and joy – everything that
is in the Gospel. That’s what I minister and anything anybody may teach or
practice that is not supported by the Bible, one by one, as far as I’m concerned
it is human philosophy and it has no basis at all. What I know is what I’m going
to teach you – what I know that has kept me free for almost 30 years is what I’m
about to teach you so tell your neighbour “You better pay attention now because
if you don’t listen to the truth then you will believe a lie.” You shall know
the truth and the truth shall make you free!
There are two major ways that demons operate. They either attack you from
outside or they work from within. Most of the times they attack from outside and
I’m going to spend some very good time tonight. I’m not going to be in a hurry.
We have the whole night to tell you in detail how they operate from outside.
Then briefly, I will talk about how they operate from inside because there are
fewer cases where they operate from inside. By the time they have taken over
somebody and they I are operating from inside – as soon as you see the fellow
coming you will know who is coming. If you see somebody who is dancing without
music; if you see somebody who is looking up to the sky and talking to somebody
nobody can see; if you see somebody who is walking naked and he’s laughing at
you who are well-dressed then you will know who is inside the fellow. I don’t
think there are too many of them here tonight.
But then there are cases where you are a child of God and the enemy wants to
attack from outside. I will just mention seven cases.
No.1 The Bible calls the first one affliction - to trouble, to disturb, to
cane. In 1 Samuel 16:14 the Bible says when the spirit of God left King Saul an
evil spirit from the Lord came and troubled him. It didn’t say the evil spirit
came and took him over. It just came and troubled him and whenever the evil
spirit came to trouble him he became abnormal.
When I was young, when somebody begins to behave abnormally they will say,
“Eh-eh, that thing has come! Ah ah, that’s it,” they said, “The thing has come
on it!” That’s affliction. Demons come upon the fellow to trouble the fellow and
the fellow becomes very, very uncomfortable, becomes restless – very, very angry
for no reason at all. And when you read 1 Samuel 19:9-10, you will find King
Saul when the thing came on him that he saw David, who was helping him to calm
him down, and he wanted to throw a javelin and kill him. These people are in a
storm. Many a time they can’t describe it to you – what they are going through.
All of a sudden, when the thing comes on them they feel hot. The head is hot;
the body is hot, everything you do they just can’t find it acceptable. But thank
God there is someone called the Prince of Peace who can still any storm. If
there’s any storm in your life He will still them tonight in Jesus’ Name!
(Amen!).
Now in the case of affliction, when the demon is not operating the people are
very, very normal. For example some years ago they brought a bank manager here,
handcuffed to 2 policemen. Nobody will employ somebody as a bank manager if he’s
mad. When this thing hasn’t come on him he’s a very nice gentleman, very good
bank manager, but when it comes to him he just wants to go to anybody’s house
and break the door down. In fact he was trying to enter a house and thy thought
he was a robber and they hit him on the head. They took him to the police
station before the people discovered that this man was not trying to steal – it
was certain forces tormenting him. The
beauty of it is that somewhere between the tormenting of the enemy the fellow
was normal enough to realize: take me to Redemption Camp. If I get there, I will
be free! And you are here tonight. In the mighty Name of Jesus you also will be
free! (Amen!)
The policemen brought him handcuffed, two of them. I said, ‘Release him!”
“Ahhh!!” they said, “You don’t know this man. If we loose him, he will destroy
everything here.” I said, ‘Didn’t you know what you say he said?” He said, “If I
get to the Redemption Camp I will be free!”” Is there anybody here today who
believes that because I have come tonight I will go home in joy? (Amen!) Is
there anybody like that here? Let me hear somebody shout 'Alleluia!'
(Alleluia!). They loosed him and he was completely free. We didn’t have to
struggle with him at all. He knew that of he could make contact with the Prince
of Peace that all will be well. All will be well with you tonight in Jesus'
Name! (Amen!).
The second way that the enemy can torment you from the outside is something
called oppression. To oppress means to sit on, hold the fellow down properly so
he will not be able to move up at all. I mean just hold down. And we find an
example in Luke 13:11-16. The Bible talks of a woman who was bound by the devil
for 18 years. The Bible said, no matter how hard she tried she cannot lift up
herself. That fellow had an oppressor sitting on her and there are several
similar examples in the world today.
There are people who had been on one spot for years – not a single promotion
– but the Lord that promised that your reign will begin from today, (Amen!) will
see to it that from today your promotion will begin. (Amen!) There are people
who have never had a single proposal. There are beautiful woman who had never
had anyone say to her since they were born “Will you marry me?” There are people
who have written several letters of application and they have never even been
called for an interview. Such people have a certain force sitting on them. For
them to be free the one sitting on them must be removed and that’s what Isaiah
10:27 says. Isaiah 10:27 said that the one who is sitting on your neck shall be
removed. Today in the mighty name of Jesus, (Amen!), everyone sitting on you
holding you sown shall be removed in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!).
I’ve told you, some of you know this story very well. A service was going on
in the church, in a particular church and there was a fat woman who was fast
asleep. A fat woman fast asleep and there is a woman sitting by her side,
sweating profusely because she was feeling a terrible weight on her and God
opened the eyes of a member of the choir and saw in a vision that the woman who
was sleeping was actually sitting on the fellow next to her! And being a young
girl she cried out: “Ah! Come down from her neck!” Now the fellow sitting next
to you may be sleeping. Better tell the fellow – wake up! Don’t sit on my neck!’
Anyone sitting on your neck shall be removed tonight in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!).
You also remember the case of a brother who has not been promoted for 12
years because the boss hid his file. And then the Almighty God moved and the
boss was transferred or sacked and a new boss took over and said, “I want to see
the file of everybody working for me. And when they couldn’t find the file of
this man they searched until finally they discovered it. And finally when they
found the file they found that there had been no recommendation, no0 promotion
for 12 years and the boss, the new boss gave him double promotion. Somebody will
get double promotion today. (Amen!)
And then there is a third way in which the enemy can work on somebody from
the outside – and it is called repression – that is pushing down. As the fellow
is trying to come up, the forces push him down. This is different from
oppression. In the case of oppression, the fellow is down and the enemy is
sitting on him. But this one is the fellow is trying to rise but there is a
force constantly pushing him down. He will try to rise and the force will say
“Go down!” Tonight all those forces which have been pushing you down. God will
push them off. (Amen!)
In John 5:1-9, the Bible talks of a man who had been sick for 38 years. He
said every time he tried to get into the pool, somebody will get there before
him so he will come back to square one. Next year the angel will come again. He
will rise up, struggle to get into the river. Somebody will get there before
him. Back to square one. This is a classical example of repression and you can
find several examples. Examples like miscarriages – “The baby has come, I’m
pregnant again!” “Oh
Congratulations!” “I’m pregnant again!”
3 months, 4 months the pregnancy is gone! You start all over again. “Ah I’m
pregnant again. The belly is beginning to swell.” The enemy intervenes. The
belly that was swelling goes back to normal. Or in some cases, they will even
wait until the baby is to be born. And the baby will be born – stillbirth. Or
the baby is even born, and they name the baby and they’ve done all kinds of
ceremony and all of a sudden the child is dead. And they start all over again. I
know a woman. She had eleven children and they all died until the Lord, the Lord
of Hosts moved in.
Oh, there are several other cases we could mention. People who say – “I want
to build a house!” So they get money and they buy land. Begin to collect money
so they can begin to draw the plan and then a problem will come and every kobo
will be spent. And then they begin again. And they begin again. And they begin
again. There are some people who have been building a house now for almost 30
years – they never complete! All the forces that have been pushing you down,
they will leave you alone today in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!). Why? Because God
promised in Isaiah 41:10-13 God said, Fear not, I will help you. All those who
are incensed against you, you will look for them you will not even find them.
(Amen!)
I remember very well, a sister, I don’t even know how many she had as
miscarriages. The one that was most painful was when they were a set of twins
and then God stepped in. I saw her some time ago. I looked at her. She looked at
me. She smiled. I smiled. We know what we were thinking about because after God
stepped in, she now had wonderful children. All of you who have been having
miscarriages; all of you who have been having stillbirths; all of you who have
been trying to build and have not succeeded; all of you who had nearly succeeded
but you kept on failing… from tonight, things will change in Jesus’ Name!
(Amen!).
And there is yet another way in which the enemy can torment from outside. And
it is called regression – that is to keep pushing back. They just keep pushing
back. This time they are not holding you down – they are merely pushing you
back. From wherever you are they keep pushing back until you get to zero. This
is the classical example we see in Mark 5:25-34. That’s the story of the woman
with the issue of blood. Once upon a time, she was healthy. Once upon a time she
was rich but then one day, the enemy stepped into her situation and drop by
drop, drop-by-drop she was losing blood. It was not only blood that she was
losing. She went from one doctor to another and the doctors tried. They took her
money. They gave her the treatment they thought they could give. The Bible said,
she spent all that she had and instead of getting better – she grew worse. There
are several examples like that. There might be someone here who could say ohh! –
This is my case!” Business stopped. No new ones and because no new ones no new
profits. So first of all he began to eat from the profit. Then when profit
finished began to eat from the capital. And when capital finished then borrowing
began. And then a time will come when you have borrowed so much that you become
sick of borrowing. But when you come to Somebody, the Almighty Jesus Christ – He
can reverse what the enemy has done. Because while the enemy can push you back,
Jesus Christ can accelerate you. (Amen!)
In John 10:10 the Bible says the thief cometh not but for to steal, to kill
and to destroy. That shows you the process of regression. First to steal, then
to kill and then to destroy. But then Jesus Christ said, “I have come that you
might have life, abundant life, and even more abundant life. First life, then
abundant life and then more abundant life. All of you that the enemy had been
pushing back, that you are even far, far behind where you used to be. God will
take you from where you are (Amen!) and begin to push you forward. (Amen!) All
those who have left you behind, you will catch up with them (Amen!) And you will
even over take them. (Amen!) If you believe that shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!).
Some of you will remember the story of a woman, very rich woman has a big
storey building in the centre of the town, as she sat down one day to eat –
pounded yam, with plenty of meat and so on in the stew. And all of a sudden from
nowhere a toad appeared and jumped on the pounded yam! Ah-ah where do you come
from? She just tried to slap the thing and the toad jumped into the bowl of
stew! A so she said, “Alright, if I won’t eat this pounded yam, you won’t eat it
either!” So she took the bowl of pounded yam and slammed it on the bowl of stew
and held it down wanting to suffocate the toad. After some time she opened the
something and there was no toad. That was the beginning of her problem.
From that day she started coughing. She coughed and coughed and I mean, the
kind of cough, that when she’s coughing she will be urinating involuntarily. She
went to all the hospitals, they tried everything. She spent all her money.
Finally, somebody told her we were having a program. She came there, she gave
her life to Jesus and the Almighty God healed her that night. The God that
healed her that night is going to heal somebody here tonight too in Jesus’ Name!
(Amen!).
But the beautiful part of the story is that after she was healed, the one who
sent the toad caught the sickness and now began to cough and then came to this
woman and said, “Please tell me who healed you? Because the sickness I sent you
had no cure and now it’s come back on me. Who healed you?” So the woman brought
her to Jesus and Jesus Christ… you know God is so merciful. Even if the sinner
repents he will heal the sinner. So the original victim and the one who was
tormenting her – both of them are in Jesus Christ now. I won’t tell you the
Parish where they are so that you don’t go and ask them what happened to the
toad. One thing I know is this – every force that had been pushing you back –
the Almighty will deal with them tonight in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!).
Another way by which the enemy can operate against you from the outside is a
process called “distraction” – just to divert your attention. In other words the
enemy is not going to attack you as a person. But he will attack someone who is
very precious to you so you will be so busy looking after that fellow that you
will not be able to pay attention to your own life any longer. It is the example
we find in Matthew 15:21-28 Its the story of a mother that came to Jesus and
said, “Help me! My daughter is grievously vexed of the devil. I’m not the one
suffering – it’s my daughter but the suffering of the daughter is such that I
can’t do anything unless her problem had been solved!” There are many of us who
are in exactly that situation. The problem is not with us. We are healthy. We
are strong! Our head is complete. But there is someone in the family who the
devil has set up as a kind of hole in the bag, so that as long as that problem
is there we can’t concentrate. The Almighty God that solved the problem of that
woman will solve that problem in your life tonight – Amen!
There are many mothers who cannot sleep peacefully because they have
daughters who should be married now and are not yet married. There are many
fathers who cannot sleep soundly because they don’t know where their sons are
and they don’t know what the sons are up to. I know parents who if they see a
policeman coming say, “Oh God! They have caught that boy at last!” I have good
news for you because the Bible says in Isaiah 53:4 there is somebody who is a
burden –bearer and he will help you to carry your burden tonight in Jesus’ Name!
(Amen!).
Oh, I can give you several examples. There was a boy who was carried in to
Ebute-Metta several years ago. They just came in from somewhere and all of a
sudden he couldn’t walk, he couldn’t sit down, he just had to lie down 24 hours
a day. They carried him like that into the office and I prayed. I asked the boy
– ‘Kneel down! Let us pray!” He said, “I cannot kneel down.” I said, “I command
you to kneel down!” And he turned at me and said, “In whose name?” I said, “In
the name of Jesus.” He said, “That is different. So he knelt down. We prayed.
When we finished praying I asked him to get up and go home. He said. “I can’t
walk.” I said, “I command you to walk.” He said, “In whose name/” I said, “In
the name of Jesus!” He said, “That is different.” And he got up and began to
walk. (Amen!) And he has been well ever since then.
I command today, in the name of Jesus, that every burden in your life shall
be carried away in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!). Let me give you another example. There
was a woman. Let me not mention the name of the town. She said she went to one
program and there went to receive spirit and came back speaking in a very
strange tongue. Not the normal tongues at all, not the kind of tongue you hear
here. Anyone listening to her will know that this one is from the devil. And now
the situation is, when she wakes up she will speak in tongues and then she will
fall asleep and she will sleep for 20 hours. When she wakes up she will speak in
tongues and fall asleep for 22 hours. As a result the husband can’t go to work.
The people at home, they can’t move. She became a burden to everybody. I
remember they brought her in a car. And as I stood there to pray for her, she
was sleeping then, and she was looking quite okay, as I said, "In the name of
Jesus!” She jumped up – with her fingernails, sharp fingernails and began to
speak in tongues… and I said, “Silence inj” And she fell back. Two or three
minutes later she woke up and said, “Where am I?” and she became normal from
that time onwards. Whatever it is that is causing distraction in your life they
shall be gone tonight in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!).
Another way the enemy can attack is confusion. When confusion sets in you
cannot even think straight. You won‘t know what to do. Do I turn right or do I
turn left? Is this the business I should do? Or should I take that business?
Should I marry this man or should I marry the other one? Should I travel or
should I stay at home? And when it gets to the worst time, you will not even be
able to differentiate between friends and enemies because what is really called
confusion is “blindfolding the spiritual eyes.”
Like in 2 Kings 6: 18-21 when some
people came to arrest Elisha and he asked God to blind fold them. What he asked
God to do was ‘confuse’ them. Oh he said, this is not the way let me show you
where the man is.” And he led them straight into the camp of the enemy.
Confusion is one of the major weapons of those who operate 419. They ask you to
bring money so you can get a bigger money! “Just a little money, just bring a
little and then you will get a big one.” “Why do you want to give me this
money?” “Because I like you. You know, we are friends. I mean we are friends.”
“We have never met before!” “Oh, Maybe you have forgotten – we are friends.”
Until you begin to sell everything in your house. We are friends… Whatever is
causing confusion in your life; the Almighty God will remove it in Jesus’ Name!
(Amen!).
Like I said when it gets to the worst type. The people in this kind of
situation, when they are talking they will begin something, they will never end
that sentence before they jump to another one. When they go to learn a trade
they will never finish. As soon as they get to a certain stage they want to go
and do something else. Oh, when they are in the University they are studying one
particular subject. When they get to a certain stage they change to another
subject. If you are in that situation God will set you free tonight in Jesus’
Name! (Amen!).
And then another kind of attack is the one that is called “obsession”. That
is when you are obsessed – you think about only one thing all the time! You have
one strong habit that you do to excess. You have a passion, a strong passion
that controls every other thing! This is the worst type of attack from the
outside and it comes in various, various forms.
For Samson, for example, his own obsession is strange women. There are
several women in Israel – no his own must be from the
Philistines. There are men like that; they cannot do in one day without a woman!
I used to have a friend – oh, anybody, anybody who is a woman is okay – house
girl, messenger in the office, the wife of a friend – anybody he wants is a
woman. 5 a.m. he will make an appointment to go and see a woman on the way to
the river! Always women, women women! If he sits down and you are discussing
something very serious and a woman passes by, you have lost my friend. Anything
you are saying after that one he is not hearing any more.
The example of Esau: His own case is food, food, food! That of Judas Iscariot
– money! Obsession, obsession! There are some people now that when they get into
this kind of situation they suspect everybody – that is their own obsession. In
fact if I have any fear at all for those who go to all kinds of deliverance
ministers here, deliverance ministers here – it is that they will end up
becoming obsessed with demons. When they see a tree – that’s a demonic tree. If
there’s no petrol in the car and the car has stopped – “Ah! Demons have come
again – they’ve come!” I know one who said – he opened the fridge; instead of
the water being cold, the water was warm. He said, “ You see, they’ve come!” I
said, “Is the fridge on?” And we looked behind and found that the fridge was not
on! I say, is it a demon that switched the fridge off? Everybody is an enemy! So
one day we saw a lizard in his house. “Ahhh! They came here too! Look at one!” A
lizard! There’s a lizard everywhere! He said, “Eh – this one is a special one!”
I said, “Okay who is this lizard?” He
said, “From the look of it, it must be my mother-in-law!” I said, “Alright.
Let’s kill it. If it’s your mother-in-law, if we kill the lizard, the
mother–in-law will die! So the lizard died. I said, “Now let us wait for the
announcement concerning the death of your mother-in-law.” But there’s nothing
wrong with mother-in-law! He said, “You don’t know them. The moment we were
killing the lizard she left that one and went into another!”
I mean, I know a man, a man! Highly intelligent, highly educated man, he said
every object in his house the enemy had touched them and therefore they had
become familiar objects! Who taught you this? He said, “Ah, our Pastor is a
strong man. He’s a deliverance minister.” Are you free or in bondage? Didn’t the
Almighty God say – if you come to me I will give you rest? Don’t we have – Glory
be to God! …. help that one.. help her…you haven’t seen anything yet. Tonight is
the night Alleluia! (Alleluia!) ….
Didn’t Jesus Christ say, if you come unto me I will give you rest? He said
you don’t know there is the devil, there is a devil. I know there is a devil but
my Father is the Lord of Hosts and the Bible tells me I am more than a
conqueror. How many of you are more than conquerors here tonight? Let me hear
somebody shout ‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!). The second one told me all ye that
labour and are heavy-laden – I will give you rest. Then all you have to do is
submit to my Lordship. Put my yoke upon you and then you don’t need to worry
about the enemy any longer.
Now let’s talk briefly about ”possession” – that is when the enemy has taken
over completely. We have a good example in Mark 5:1-15 Here the Bible gives a
good example of someone who is really, really possessed of the devil. He lived
among the dead; very wild; if you bind him, he will tear it off.
How can we know those who are possessed of devils? Because many of those
people you say are possessed - no, no, no they are not possessed, they are being
tormented from the outside. Those who are possessed of the devil, they always
have extraordinary strength – they have enough strength to break iron into
pieces. I remember the case of one little girl that was possessed by the devil.
6 men cannot hold her down – 6 men!
And in the case of this woman, the mad man of Gadarenes, the Bible said as
soon as he saw Jesus coming he fell at His feet and he began to talk: “What have
I to so with you to do with you thou Son of the Living God? Have you come to
torment me?” One sign of those who are possessed by demons is that they talk too
much! Cha cha cha cha cha cha cha…. They talk too much! So if you know somebody
who can talk for one hour non-stop – something is wrong somewhere. I know a
sister years ago; if I had known what I know now her case will have been simple.
“Pastor, I want to see you.” If you can go ahead and say ‘eh-eh’ before you can
say another eh-eh’ it will be at least one hour fifteen minutes! At least! She
knows how to go from one sentence to the other to the other to the other in such
a way that you cannot put in a word! I was a younger Pastor then. I didn’t know
what I know now. So what I did then was that anytime I saw her coming, I ran! I
am confessing the truth to you – when I saw her coming this way, I will go
quickly that way. If I had known what I know now I would have said, Shut up in
the mighty Name of Jesus and come out of her!”
Another thing about anyone who is possessed of the devil is that they find it
so easy to lie. Oh they lie so easily! They can lie so often that you will not
even know the head from the tail by the time they finish. And they can lie! 1
today, 2 tomorrow, 3 the day after – they lie so smoothly that when they are
lying you will even believe them! In fact, the trouble about them is that they
lie so much they believe their own lies! The Bible says the devil is the father
of lies and this is the area I want to say to you, when ever you have cause to
say you are setting anybody free, don’t talk to demons!
“What is your name? How many of you are there? Who sent you? Where do you
come from? How long have you been here?” The devil will never tell you the
truth! He’s the father of lies. “Who sent you?” “The mother-in-law.” “What did he ask you to go and do?” “ Go and kill you.” “ Why do you have to come
and kill?” He said, “Because when you cook your soup you didn’t give me part of
it.” Why should you listen to the lies? The devil will never tell you the truth.
“How many of you are there?” He says, “We are four.” “What are your names?” He
says, “Queen of the Coast, Queen of the Sahara Desert, Queen of Ikorodu….” Let
somebody shout ‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!) Don’t talk to them – cast them out!
Finish! Don’t waste your time! If you want to hear the voice, hear the voice of
the Lord. He listened to angels – don’t listen to demons.
Then another way we know those who are possessed by demons is that they
suffer from persistent immoral and unclean thoughts. The Bible calls demons
‘unclean spirits’ and the Bible says, “out of the abundance of the heart the
mouth speaks.” If you have an unclean spirit within you, the thoughts will
constantly be unclean thoughts, unclean thoughts.
But it doesn’t matter what are the other sins of those who are possessed by
demons. One thing is clear – every demon bows to the name of Jesus. Even the mad
man of Gaderenes who had 1000 demons in him – when he saw Jesus Christ what did
he do? He fell down and worshipped him. There is no demonic force that will not
bow to the name of Jesus. I remember one occasion – years ago when we first came
to this camp. There were few accommodations but fewer people so when somebody is
sick then and somebody's mad they will bring them to the camp. And I remember
that day there was a mad man in one dormitory and we are still praying foe him
when they brought in another mad man and they will put him in the same
dormitory. The first mad man ran out. He said, “Look at these people oh! They’ve brought a mad man to live with me!”
Let somebody shout ‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!) When a mad man begins to call another
mad man a mad man then you know that madness can be superior to madness! But the
first mad fellow and the 2nd mad fellow both of them bow whenever we say “At the
Name of Jesus..” And whatever it is that is working against you tonight will bow
to the Name of Jesus. (Amen!)
Now very quickly before we begin to move into top gear by the grace of God,
what is the purpose of deliverance? Why will God want to deliver you tonight if
you need deliverance?
Exodus 8:1 The Bible says: And the Lord spake unto Moses, “Go unto Pharaoh
and say unto him, thus saith the Lord, Let my people go that they may serve me.”
What is the purpose of deliverance? That we may serve God. Why will God want you
to be free tonight? In order that you may be able to serve Him. Why will He want
to heal you tonight? In order that you may be able to serve Him! Why is it that
He’s going to break the yoke of poverty in your life tonight? In order that you
may be able to serve Him! Why is He going to silence the enemy in your life
tonight? In order that you may be able to do what? Serve Him! How many of you
will be willing to serve the Lord? Let me hear somebody shout ‘Alleluia!’
(Alleluia!).
And how will He want you to serve Him? Materially. In Luke 8:1-3 the Bible
tells us that there are certain people who were serving Jesus who were supplying
the money that He was using to tun His ministry. And they mentioned the name of
a woman in particular – Mary Magdalene – out of whom they said Jesus cast seven
demons. She had 7 demons. She was a chairman among witches, but the Almighty God
grabbed her, brought her out, delivered her, so that shoe could spend her money
for the cause of God. All of you who have been spending your money on sickness,
all of you who have been spending your money on distractions, all of you that
the enemy had pushed until you became nothing, tonight God will set you free.
(Amen!) And after He has set you free remember you were set free so that you can
serve Him.
How will you serve Him? He wants you to serve Him in soul-winning. He want s
you to witness for Him. He wants you to tell others about Him. Mark 5:18-20. The
Bible tells us that when the mad man of Gadarenes was healed he came to Jesus.
He said, “Sir, I want to go with you. Anywhere you go. I will follow.” Jesus
said “no, no, no, no, - go home! Go and
tell your people the great things that God has done for you and how He has been
merciful unto you.” God will set you free so that you can go and witness.
Do you know that if you are witnessing for Christ it is very difficult for
demons to attach themselves to you? Why? In John 15:1 & 2 the Bible says,
Jesus Christ says I am the vine and my Father is the husbandman. He said – every
branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away but any branch in me that is
bearing fruit he will purge it so that it can bear more fruit. If you are
winning souls for Jesus Christ, God the Father will keep on purging you. As a
result of that no demon will be able to stick to you. If you are a soul winner
demons cannot hold you down! If you are a soul winner they can’t push you down.
If you are a soul winner they can’t push you back. If you are a soul winner they
can’t take over your life. So He wants to set you free tonight so as you go home
tomorrow morning you can talk about the Great Deliverer; you can begin to
witness about Him.
And of course, He wants to set you free so that you can praise Him, so that
you can glorify Him; so that you can rejoice. In Acts 3:1-8 the Bible says when
the man who had been lame all these years was set free, the Bible said he was
walking and leaping and praising God. The one who had been condemned to remain
on one spot by the enemy, when God set him free, he was walking and he was
praising God!
God wants to set you free tonight so that you can walk when the enemy says
you should sit down so that you can leap when the enemy says they want to press
you down and so that you can praise God when the enemy says you shall be
weeping. I know that someone here tonight, after God has set you free, you’ll be
walking, you’ll be leaping, you’ll be praising God (Amen!) I know that someone
here tonight, after God has set you free, everywhere you go you will talk about
His mercy. You will tell them that once upon a time the enemy had written me off
but God stepped into my situation and look at me now!” That will be your song in
Jesus’ Name! (Amen!).
But then tonight God is here. He wants to set people free, even demons are
already feeling uncomfortable but God cannot set free anybody who does not want
to be free. God cannot force you to be free. God can open the prison door but He
can’t force you to go out. No- no! All He can do is open the door. Then it is up
to you to walk out. In the story of Paul and Silas an earthquake came and bonds
were broken, the doors were open then they sat down inside – they didn’t go out
and God didn’t force them to go out. There may be people here tonight that when
we pray God will throw open the prison door but they may say, “Who wants to go
out?” If you don’t want to go out, God will not force you. It’s only those who
want to be free tonight who will be free. If you want to be free let me hear
somebody shout ‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!).
I know you will say how can anybody say “I don’t want to be free?” I have
told you stories before of people who came for deliverance and God wants to set
them free and they don’t want to go, they don’t want to be free. I’ve told you
the story of a woman … oh, we did everything – it was her husband that brought
her. We prayed, we bound, we loosed, we commanded – nothing happened. After some
time we turned to God. “We’ve done everything we know, why is this woman not
free?” And God said, “Ask her does she want to be free.” ”Woman do you want to
be free?” She said, “No.” “You don’t want to be free?” Why not?” “Because the
demon I use to control my husband is the one you want to drive out! I will ask
him to drive me to the house of my boyfriend; he will drive me there. I will ask
him to sit in the car. He will sit there in the sun. I will go upstairs to my
boyfriend. We will spend as much time as we want. When I finish I came and meet
him down there and he cannot say word. You want to get rid of that power?”
Now if you are in that situation and you have somebody who is holding you
down, who says he or she does not want to be free, don’t worry, we will take
care of that tonight too. Because 1’ve also told you a story of a man who
brought the wife and said, “My wife is a witch. I have discovered.” “Sister, are
you a witch?” She said, “Don’t mind the fool, it is his mother who is a witch.”
I said, “Alright, now if you are a witch tell me so that we can drive out the
witchcraft. She said, “No, don’t mind them.” So finally I said, “Sister I’m not
saying you are a witch ......” because if you are a foolish Pastor you will call
a woman a witch. Because if they take you to court they will ask you to produce
evidence. Demons don’t appear on x-ray. If they x-ray the woman from top to
bottom, they won’t see the demon inside. “Sister, I don’t say you are a witch
oh, but if you are one and we pray and we bind the thing that is inside.....
Remember the snake won’t be able to go out and so it will stay inside, it will
be eating inside and it will be defecating inside there. I hope you know what
that one means. Do I pray? “ She said, “Pray! Pray! Bind whatever you want to
bind. I’m not a witch!” So we bound. When they brought her back 3 months later,
she was big as a balloon. “I thought you are not a witch!” She didn’t answer
because she was on the point of death. Any demon here tonight that says I don’t
want to go but I want to keep on tormenting another child of God, we will bind!
(Amen!)
That is why I want to appeal to all of you who are here tonight. If you know
you need deliverance and you are not yet a child of God, God is never going to
set you free. You have to be born again – that’s the reason number one – you
must be born again in order for you to be free.
Reason number two why you must be born again – compulsorily – is that when
the time comes, later or now, and demons begin to come out and they begin to fly
out from those people who say we don’t want you, anyone they find who is not a
child of God, who is not covered by the blood of the Lamb – they begin to enter
in. So maybe you came here with only 2 demons. I don’t want you to go home with
1000! So if you are not yet born again, come to surrender your life to Jesus. He
will save your soul. He will wash you in His blood and when it is time to be
free He will set you free too. If you say, “No, I don’t want to be free. I don’t
want to be a child of God, I want to stay with the devil….” Tonight is
deliverance night. It is warfare night! We will fight – every force of darkness
here tonight is in for trouble. I say is in for trouble!
So if you are here and you are not yet born again and you want to give your
life to Jesus, I want to invite you now, begin to come. Today is the day of
salvation. God will save your soul tonight and He will set you free tonight!
Come from all over the place! I will not
wait forever so if you want to come, come by the time I count up to ten. If you
are not here by then I will know that you have made up your mind that you want
to stay with the devil. Then whatever the devil wants he can do to you. But if
you want to surrender your life to Jesus come now. I begin to count now – 1 – 2
–3 - now I know some of you are coming
from a long way so you better begin to come very quickly before it is too late.
3. This is the Day of Salvation. The Almighty God wants to be merciful to you,
that’s why he brought you tonight. Ask Him to save your soul. Ask Him to wash
you in His blood. Ask Him to cleanse you tonight. Promise Him that you will
serve Him for the rest of your life. Call on Him! Call on Him! He’s calling you!
He has opened the door now! You’re free to come to Him now! You’re free to come
for salvation! Pray from the bottom of your heart!
Now the rest of us, let’s pray for these people and ask the Almighty God to
save their souls, that God will be merciful unto them. Thank You! Thank You!
This is a final call now. If you know you want to come you better come before I
begin to pray. This is the final call now. The Lord loves you and He wants to
save your soul. That’s why he’s asking you to come tonight. Thank You Jesus!
Blessed be the Name of the Lord!! Thank You Lord! Thank You Jesus! Blessed be
the Name of the Lord forever! Thank You Father! Saviour, save these people. Make
their salvation genuine tonight! Make their salvation genuine tonight to the
glory of your Holy Name! Thank You my Father! Thank You my Lord! Thank You
Father! Thank You Lord! Thank You Father! Oh yes Father save their souls
tonight! Be merciful to them Lord! Every one of them Lord – save their souls!
…Save their souls tonight! Save their souls tonight to the glory of Your Holy
Name! Save their souls tonight Thank You Father! Thank You Lord! Save their
souls tonight Everyone of them Lord! Save their souls! Lord! Don’t let a single
one go away unsaved Lord! Perfect that which concerns them Lord! Thank you my
Lord and my Saviour! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Father! everybody here tonight
crying to You for salvation in their lives – make their salvation thorough! Make
their salvation thorough, thorough tonight to the glory of Your Holy Name!!
Thank You Father! Blessed be Your Holy Name! Thank You! Almighty God! Save their
souls! Lord! Thank You Jesus! Glory be to God! Glory be to God! Glory be to God!
Save their souls!! My Father and my God! Everyone of them cleanse them
thoroughly in Your blood. Do a deep work Lord! Do a thorough work Lord! Let
their salvation be genuine O l! To the glory of Your Holy Name! Father! Thank
You my Lord! Thank You Father! Blessed be Your Holy Name! In Jesus’ mighty Name
we have prayed! (Amen!)
Father, we bless Your Name. We thank You for these people that You have
brought to the cross tonight because Your Word says no man can come unto me
unless my Father draws him. Thank You! for drawing these people and Thank You!
that they have not refused your drawing. Father, Accept our thanks in Jesus’
Name! (Amen!)! Father, You promised that whosoever will come unto You, You will
in no wise cast out. They’ve come to You now Father, please receive them in
Jesus’ Name! (Amen!). Forgive them in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!). Cleanse them in Your
blood in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!). Save their souls Lord! (Amen!) Write their names
in the Book of Life! (Amen!) Father, I pray that from today they will remain
Your children. (Amen!) And Lord, when You begin to break yokes in the life of
everybody tonight. Include these Your children in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!). Thank
You my Father! Glory be to Your Holy Name! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed!
(Amen!)
Well those of you in front let me hear you shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!).
Congratulations! If you don’t get excited about the salvation of souls I don’t
know what you should be excited about. The biggest miracle in the world is
salvation and we have seen thousands saved tonight. Let somebody get excited for
Jesus Christ. Let somebody give the Lord a big hand! Let somebody shout and
rejoice of r the salvation of souls – that’s very important. Glory be to God!

Now while we are waiting for our new brothers and sisters to join us as we
took the cases one by one I am sure that there must be one that is either your
own or very close to it. Even if the enemy is not touching you at all there
might be somebody in your family that you know that the enemy is disturbing and
because the enemy is disturbing them its causing distraction in your life.
Brethren, let us spend time now in prayer. Let us go to the Almighty God
individually and begin to mention all those cases where we know that the enemy
is operating in our lives and call on the Great Deliverer. Say, “Set me free
tonight! Let my freedom be complete tonight!” Let’s talk to the Almighty God
individually now. Let’s talk to the Almighty. You know the areas where you are
suffering. You know where the enemy is biting you. You know the member of your
family that is suffering from the enemy – talk to God about them. Intercede on
their behalf; pray that the Almighty God will make your deliverance complete
tonight. Let’s talk to the Almighty God now. While we wait for our brothers and
sisters to come. Let’s call on the Almighty….
Ministers will do what they have to do but you need to pray yourself and we
are going to take the example of Bartemeus and take one by one his specific case
and use his case to pray this morning.
The first prayer he prayed is that God will be merciful unto him. Many of us
are where we are today because of our own sins – because we disobeyed God or
because of the sins of our parents but we just want to cry to God for mercy. So
I want you to open your mouth now to begin to cry to the Almighty God and say,
“Father, have mercy on me! Have mercy on me! Have mercy on me tonight! Please
Lord Have mercy on me! I need mercy! I come asking for mercy O Lord! Father!
Have mercy on me! Let me obtain mercy tonight. If you do not have mercy on me
there is no way I can be totally free tonight! Father! Please Have mercy on me
tonight! I need your mercy! Please Have mercy on me Lord! Have mercy on me
Father! Almighty God I call on You for mercy tonight! Please be merciful unto me
O Lord! Be merciful unto me! I need Your mercy tonight! You are the God of
mercies. I ask for Your mercy tonight! Please Lord be merciful unto me, be
merciful unto every member of my family! Be merciful unto me O Lord! Have mercy
on me I need Your mercy! I need Your mercy!
I am the one calling for mercy now Lord! I am not asking for justice, I’m
asking for mercy! If you are to judge me, I will be found wanting, so just be
merciful! Please be merciful to me! Your Word says, if You are to mark iniquity
who will be able to stand? So Father please I’m asking for mercy. I am not
perfect; I have not done your Will all the time. Please just be merciful unto m;
just be merciful unto me! I’m asking for Your mercy for mercy tonight Lord! In
Your infinite mercy Lord, include me because Your Word says that Your mercy is
as heaven is higher than the earth. Please be merciful unto me Lord! I ask for
mercy! I ask fir mercy! Tonight!
Now when Bartemeus was crying to God for mercy some people tried to stone
him. I want you to cry to God tonight – all those who are trying to shut me up –
Father, shut them up! Let’s pray brethren! All those who are trying to shut me
up, Father, shut them up! Silence them! Please Lord, all those who are trying to
silence me, please Father, silence them too. Shut them up! Because You are a
merciful God. I am helpless and all power belongs to You, help me O Lord!
Silence all those who want to silence me in your own supernatural way O Lord ……

Brethren, I don’t need to beg you to pray – we have no other weapon other
than prayer. When Bartemeus cried and the people tried to silence him, the Bible
said he cried louder! Brethren, the Bible went on to say that Jesus stood still
in order to attend to a particular case. I want you to cry to the Almighty God
tonight and say, “Father – pay special attention to my case tonight! Special
attention to my case! I need special attention! Special attention Lord! My case
deserves special attention Lord Almighty! Special attention! I want You to stand
still to attend to my case tonight! Special attention Lord!.. Special case
requiring special attention Lord! I need special attention tonight, special
attention! Pay special attention to me tonight Father! My Lord and My God! I

When Jesus stood still, He said, ‘Go and bring him.” And the very people who had been trying to
silence him were the people who brought him! I want you to pray that, “Father,
all my enemies, let them become stepping stones to victory for me!” Let’s open

obstacles before Lord God Almighty, let them become stepping stones to victory O
Lord! Lord, I pray that in Your own supernatural way every obstacle, all the

Now when they told Bartemeus that Jesus was calling him, he threw away his
garment and he never wore it again. I want you to cry to the Almighty God and
say, Father, tonight, I am throwing away the garment of suffering, I am throwing
away the garment of sickness, the garment of failure, the garment of barrenness!
I throw them away now, Father don’t let me ever wear them again. Let’s call on
the Almighty God. Tonight Father, I’m throwing away the garment of suffering,
the garment of bondage, the garment of sickness, the garment of poverty, the
garment of barrenness, the garment of fears, the garment of sorrow! I’m throwing

From the day that Jesus stepped into the life of Bartemeus, he never begged

When Bartemeus left home that day he left home a blind man. He left home a
forsaken man, he left home as someone who was already written off. He was
supposed to die a beggar. When he was going back home he was singing a new song.
I want you to cry to the Lord: When I begin to go home today let me sing a new
song! Let’s cry unto the Almighty God! When I begin to go home today Father, put
a new song in my mouth! Put a new song in my mouth! Let me sing a new song
Father! Let me sing a new song! As I go home today, Let me sing a new song! A
new song! A new song! A new song of victory! A new song of deliverance! A new

There’s a song that says – Rise up with Your army, rise up for fighting,
Arise oh Great God and give deliverance to my soul. I want you to sing that song
as a prayer to God. I want you to sing that song as a prayer to God. Sing it
with all your heart! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!)
You see before we go to binding, it is possible there might be one or two
things that the enemy has deposited in you that you don’t even know. Now the
Word of God says that every plant that my Father did not plant shall be rooted
up so we’re going to sing a song and then you are going to pray. Some say Satan
cannot build his house next to Jesus; I want you to pray: Anything that is not
of God – that is in my body; in my home, n my business, in my Church. Father
uproot them! Let’s pray brethren! Anything that is not of God; any plant that my
Father did not plant: in my body, in my soul, in my spirit ….
Now with the same zeal with which you have prayed for yourself I want you to
pray for Nigeria and say, Father. All those who say our sufferings in Nigeria
will never end – uproot them? Lets cry unto the Almighty God. All those who say
our suffering in Nigeria will not end – Father uproot them, In Jesus’ mighty
Name we have prayed! (Amen!)
We have only 2 more prayer points then I’ll be praying with you. The first
one is not for you it’s for somebody that you know is precious to you that you
know ought to be set free. Somebody who ought to be here with you tonight but
for one reason or the other cannot come. Cry to God for that fellow and say,
Wherever so-and-so is Father, go and set him free! Pray for the fellow ……Set
them free to the glory of Your Holy Name! Thank You Father! In Jesus’ mighty
Name we have prayed! (Amen!)
Now, finally, if you have any special request of your own – talk to God about
it now …. There’s no one like You! We give You all the glory, we give You all
the honour Lord for loving us. Thank You Father! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have

Father, You are the Great Deliverer. I want to thank You in advance of what
You are about to do now. Please accept our thanks in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) You
are the Lord of Hosts, You have never lost a battle – over these Your children
Father, let there be victory tonight in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!). Let there be
absolute victory in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!). Thank You my Father! In Jesus’ mighty
Name we have prayed! (Amen!) Let somebody shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
Now the next thing we are about to do is that the ministers of God will come
here – they will combine their anointing and they will spread their hands over
you as you sing, as you praise God, as you dance. You will be doing that to make
Jesus happy and the men of God in raising their hands and waving their hands
over you – they’ll be doing like Moses did. As long as Moses lifted up his hands
Amalekites were defeated. All the Amalekites in your life, they are going to be
finished tonight! (Amen!) I believe the band is ready. I want to invite the
Pastors - the senior Pastors.
We trust You Lord! Your Word says we are more than conquerors because you
love us. We accept our victory tonight Lord! (Amen!) Accept our thanks in Jesus’
Name! (Amen!) Father, Accept our thanks in Jesus’ Name! I pray Lord that the
victories of tonight will last forever in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Thank You my
Father! Glory be to Your Name! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have rayed! (Amen! Let’s
give the Lord a big hand! Amen!
Now You may be seated. Naturally, I would feel that after we’ve all received
our miracles now we should just relax, rejoice, go to one or two other items and
close. But I know that there might still be quite a few who still feel unless
they lay hands on me I don’t believe. I have received anything. They might be
few but we will not want to rob them of that blessing so for a few minutes – as
long as there are such people – we will ask that the ministers of God all take
position and minister to such people. I don’t expect them to be many. As soon as
you finished with those there are some special cases that God wants us to deal
with – we will deal with those ones and will be rounding up. So if there’s
anyone who still feels that in spite of everything they’ve done they still need
the laying of hands, very quickly now, come and the man of God will attend to
you – the rest of us will keep on rejoicing in the Lord. Over please.
