Let somebody shout ‘Alleluia’ (Alleluia!) One thing about children is that they know how to praise God. The Bible says, out of the mouth of babes and suckling, thou hast perfected praise. I know there are children here and I’m one of them and these children are going to praise God tonight. If you are one of us let me hear you say ‘Amen!’ (Amen!) Thank You! Glory be to God! Since tonight is a special night we will not do things the way we normally do them. We will do them the way God wants them to be done. All I know is this, that before the night is out there is someone here whose sorrows will be completely forgotten. (Amen!)

On the resurrection morning an angel descended from heaven and rolled away the stone from the tombs. You are going to cry to the Lord and say, Father, send down an angel to roll away every stumbling block in my life. Let’s talk to the Almighty – Father! When Jesus Christ was crucified the disciples looked at one another and said, “We are finished! We are finished!! We thought we were going to be great but now we are finished! We thought we were going to be ministers in a new song His kingdom now we are finished.” But when He rose from the dead they had a new song. I want you to cry to the Almighty God – “Father! Tonight, tonight, put a new song in my mouth! “ Come on! Call on the Almighty! Daddy! Tonight, put a new song in my mouth! Father! Almighty God Controller of Heaven and Earth! - Put a new song in my mouth… a new song… a new song! Anew song! Where I used to say ‘I have failed.’ Let me now know no, no, I have succeeded! All where I thought I am finished Lord God Almighty! let me begin to say, I am just beginning a new song, a new song, a new song, a brand new song, a brand new song! Glory be to Your Holy Name! When Jesus was on earth He made all kinds of promises particularly to His children. Many of them were not fulfilled u until He died but when He rose again from the dead, every one, every promise, including receiving power, including spreading the Gospel throughout the world, including laying hands on the sick and seeing them recover, including casting out demons, including the enemy seeing them and running – they were all fulfilled/ You are going to cry to the Lord and say, Father! Beginning from now, every promise of yours concerning me, let them be fulfilled!” Cry to the Almighty! Daddy! From tonight onwards, everyone of your promises concerning me, concerning my body, my soul, my spirit, concerning my finances, concerning my education, concerning my ministry, concerning my family, concerning Your church, concerning this nation – all Your promises Lord! Tonight, let them begin to find fulfillment, let them begin to find fulfillment, let them begin to find fulfillment! Almighty God All your promises concerning me let them be fulfilled! Let them be fulfilled! Let them be fulfilled! Let them be fulfilled! Let them be fulfilled! Right now! Right now! One more prayer – before the day of resurrection the disciples were ordinary men but after the day of resurrection they became people that the whole world is still talking about 2000 years after they died. God took them to heights they can never believe possible so one final prayer – with all your heart, you are going to cry to the Lord and say, “Father! From tonight, take me to a height much higher than I! A higher plane Lord! – Much, much, higher than I –Lord, plant my feet on higher ground, take me to a height much higher than I, Almighty God take me to a height much higher than I! Take me to a height much higher than I Lord! Take me to a height much higher than I! Take me to a height much higher than I; much higher, much higher than I. .. to the glory of Your Holy Name Blessed be Your Holy Name Lord! Oh.. a higher plane than I am found. Lord plant my feet on higher ground. Blessed be Your Holy Name Lord! Take me to a height much higher, Take me to a height much higher, Take me to a height much higher, much, much, much, much higher than I am Lord, that Your Name might be glorified. Take me to a height much higher than I am and I will praise you forever. Thank You Father! Glory be to Your Holy Name! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed!


So let’s go before Him now and worship him one more time. There is none holy as ….


…put laughter in our mouths, put joy in our hearts, put dance in our feet, silence the enemies (Amen!) remove every stumbling block from our lives and let all be well. Thank You Daddy! Thank You Daddy! The Lord said there’s someone here tonight you would have died this month but now He’s given you a new beginning. (Amen!) Let’s give the Lord a big hand – that’s a great one! So shall it be in Jesus' Name!

Psalm 91. We want to read it together. If you have no Bible you have to pretend that you have one. If you have your Bible say ‘Amen!’ (Amen!) Let me see your Bible – left it up! Wave it! That’s your sword – wave it and make the devil mad! Wave your Bible, let the devil know you are cutting his head and then let me hear you now shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!). All right now. Psalm 91. We are going to read it together. Are you ready? It may sound like noise but it will be a joyful noise to the Lord.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

If you believe that shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!) Shake hands with 2 or 3 people and say “God is talking about me here. God is talking about me here!” And then you may be seated.

Let me start by saying I thank God for the various choirs that had ministered tonight. You are good, you are good, really, really good. And then equally I want to thank God for the choir from Ogbomoso that was good. As for my children from Jesus Embassy that was excellent! As for my children from Ifewara that was fantastic! My friends used to say in those days He who no go know go know and he who no know go know. Those who think that Ifewara is a backward little village…he who no know go know. Let somebody join me in shouting Hallelujah!

Now why do we have a Special Holy Ghost for children? I want to thank God for the preacher who preached first. He did an excellent job – any time he’s preaching you could see me writing furiously because he’s one of the old hands. I’ve known him for years! And he had always been very sound – that’s a very good description. So may God bless you Pastor Obanure – that was good. That was good.

Who actually is a child in the sight of the Lord? By reading Psalm 90: 1,2 & 4 it is clear that anyone who is younger than the mountains is a child. Anyone whose age is less than 1000 years is a child. So how many children are here tonight then? Let me hear you say ‘Amen!’ Why do we need a Special Holy Ghost Service for children? In addition to the beautiful message we have already heard I want to add just a few more.

Number one – safety is of the Lord. Safety is of the Lord Proverbs 21:31 says The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD. Many of us when we were young, when we were born, in our villages and little towns because our parents knew we were surrounded by so man hostile forces – witches, wizards, herbalists, forces that want us to die even before we can walk, they tried to protect us with all kinds of charms – and nowadays we find that in the white medical sector, oh they say, you must inoculate your child against tetanus, you must inoculate your child against this, you must inoculate your child against that. Charms, inoculation are prepared against the day of battle but safety is of the Lord.

Psalm 20:7-8 It said, Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God... Some trust in charms, some trust in inoculations but they should have known there is no inoculation against witches and wizards, no injections against demons but we trust in the Lord and our children trust in the Lord so while others fall, they will stand.

Oh, to go even a step further – some people in order to protect themselves from all these evil forces they say, well if you can’t beat them, join them so they join secret societies. Some of them become witches and wizards and they say, now we are secure, death can no longer kill us but Isaiah 28 verses 15-16, the Lord says because you think you have a covenant with death and hell you are secure. The Bible says all your covenant with all these evil forces shall be annulled!

Oh I remember the story of one man, a senior police officer and he belonged to several secret societies and then he did something wrong and he became a case and so he went to his secret society. The e judge was a member so he thought there would be no problem at all. Okay, when he got to the society, they told him this one is beyond us there’s nothing we can do about it and the following day he committed suicide. And even unknown to him the case for which he committed suicide was not even continued. He trusted in his covenants with forces of darkness but they disappointed him on the crucial day. We have somebody who will never disappoint – His name is Jesus – safety is of the Lord.

And that brings me to number two reason. Because safety is of the l that is why those who are wise stay close to Him. That is why the text we read just now – Psalm 91 v.1 & 2 tells us that they that dwell in the secret place of the most high, they are the ones who will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Now take note it doesn’t say they that will visit the place of the most high once in a while, it said they that dwell. That’s why I want to advise you – don’t bring your children only once in a while, don’t come before God and leave your children at home! If you are here with God and your children are there at home, you are leaving your door open to the enemy! Bring them each time you are coming. Oh Pastor don’t you now that these children – they are a burden? But they are a burden of joy – that is the kind of burden we don’t want God to take away. That’s why I’m praying for all of you who are trusting God for the fruit of the womb. Your own burden of joy will come in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!)

David said in Psalm 22:4-5, he said, only one thing do I desire of the Lord, one thing will I seek after – that I may dwell in the house of the Lord forever. He said because in the time of trouble He hides me in His pavilion. In Psalm 23:6 he said, Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…. Take note, he didn’t say, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us…” from time to time I hear people, after they have shared the grace,… “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us…” I never follow them to say it because it is not scriptural. The only one that goodness and mercy will follow all the days of his life is the one that will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. How many of you will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever? Let me hear you say ‘Amen!’ then! (Amen!)

You know the Bible says in Psalm 16:11, he said – in the presence of the Lord there is fullness of joy. The joy of somebody will be full tonight in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!)

Safety is of the Lord. Those who are wise come close to the Lord and they stay close to Him but why? Because there are fowlers out there. Psalm 91:3. It said, surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler…. There are fowlers out there. 1 Peter 56:8. It says that your adversary the devil, like a roaming lion is walking about seeking whom he may devour. He will not find you. He will not find your children in Jesus’ mighty Name!

And then he went on to say in verse 4 of Psalm 91 – how is he going to protect us from the fowler? – It said, He shall cover thee with his feathers and under his wings shalt thou trust.’ Those of us who come from the village – how many village boys and girls are there? So many? Let me hear You say ‘Amen’ (Amen!) How many city boys and city girls are here? Let’s here you too say “Amen!’ (Amen!) You are so many. Okay because you are so many then I need to explain because the village girls and boys, they know what I am talking about.

When your hen has produced chicks in the village, the hen and the chicks they roam free and as they walk about eating worms and whatever there’ll be an eagle up there and the eagles love to eat chicks. Now the chicks don’t know there is anything called an eagle – they just keep on enjoying themselves but the hen has been around for some time and had known there’s something called eagle. And she knows when the eagle is near because she will see the shadow on the ground. It will see the shadow moving so it will look up and say, oh.. The eagle is up there..” and then it does something – sound an alarm to all the chicks- “Chicks come! There is danger!” So the chicks will run to their mother, and the mother will lift her wings and the chicks will cone under the wings and then it will spread the feathers over them. And the eagle will look down from above and will see only one big fat hen – too big to be carried and then it will go somewhere else. After it has gone the mother will release the little kids and they will go on eating. But once in a while when the mother hen sounds the alarm there’s always one chick or two who will say “Mama, don’t bother me! I’m enjoying myself! There are some ants here, very delicious! “ Mother says, “Come! There is danger!” I can’t see any danger! I can only see food. I’m enjoying myself!” so the eagle will look down and say, “Oh, there’s one chick there!” Then he will swoop down and in a flash, pick up that chick and that chick is gone. How many of you know what I’m talking about? The Bible says in the Psalm 91, that we have just read, that our father, our Daddy has wings and whenever the fowler is around He will call us together and say – come under my wings. And then He will cover us with His feathers. Tonight the wings of the Almighty is going to cover somebody. If you are the one let me hear you say “Amen!”

David said in Psalm 32:7 He said thou art my hiding place. You shall preserve me from trouble and you will compass me about with songs of deliverance. In Psalm 9:9-10 the Bible says the Lord will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in the time of trouble. And then in Psalm 46:1 the Bible says God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in the time of trouble. God has brought us together tonight to hide us under his wings so that any trouble the enemy may be planning for us, the enemy will fail. (Amen!) I say the enemy will fail. (Amen!)

But then it says he will deliver these from the snare of the fowler. Again, those of us who are village boys we will understand what that one means. There’s something we call the snare – trap – when we want to catch an animal in the bush we know how to do it. You go into the bush and you look around, you can see the path of a particular animal. It takes the eyes of a village boy to locate it. If we bring one of you city people you can stay in the bush for one hour everything you see will just be bush. But thoise of us from the village, we can say, this is the track of a rat, this one belongs to a squirrel, this one belongs to a rodent – ah these are the footsteps of a deer! Thank God for being bush boys! Glory be to God! And then once you have located the path of the animal, you dig a hole there and put a trap in the hole, cover it with leaves and then you cover it with soil. You do it in such a way it will take an expert to know that there’s anything inside there. Then when you’ve done it like that, in order to make the job easier still, then you put some food, the particular type that that particular animal, you put a little on the left and put a little bit on the right and the trap will be in between so when the animal comes its normal route, suddenly it finds food and it says, “ah-ha there was no food here last night. How come this food suddenly appeared? If I had been eating this kind of food I won’t be so old! So he’ll turn back but he’s hungry. This is food, this is food! Maybe God has provided. So he will say, I will move far behind and just take a little bit. He tales the first one, nothing happens. He takes a little more – no problem, until he finishes everything you have put on the first site, By now he is enjoying himself and then he’s looking at the one on the other side. I might as well go and eat the other one and as he makes the step forward the trap will close on him! That is the way of the devil, that’s the way he catches many, many people! Sin is sweet. Pastor Adeboye says if you sin you will die… don’t mind him! Go ahead enjoy yourself so you try it first time, you try it first time – nothing seems to happen, everything seems to be okay. So you try the second time, and then the third time and then the fourth time – before you know it the trap has closed. Suddenly you begin to - …. Wait a minute, what’s happening? Everyone of you that had been caught by the trap of Satan you will be loosed tonight in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!)

In Psalm 124:7 it says: our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowler. It says the snare is broken and we are escaped! Today the Almighty God has brought us together to release they who are already caught by the fowler. All you need to do is cry unto Him and He will bring your soul out of the prison of the enemy. There are fowlers out there, they are out pursuing, setting traps, looking for people who they will capture and the Almighty God is the only one who can deliver from them. He’s the only one who can protect you from falling into their snare because many, many times the animal does not even know there is a trap there waiting for him.

The Bible says He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty, it said for such people a thousand may fall at their side, ten thousand may fall at their right side… it said no evil will come near them at all and I know God is talking about me there. But then the question is what, who are the people who can abide with Him? Psalm 15, if you read it from verse 1-5 it put the question simply and said, Lord, who shall abide in Thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in Thy holy hill? He asked the question and then He began to give the answers – He that walketh uprightly, that walketh righteously, that speaketh the truth in his heart, he that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, that taketh not up a reproach against his neighbour and on and on and on.. Who can abide with the Almighty? Who can dwell with Him?

The summary of it is – he who will depart from evil. He who will forsake sin. He who will be willing to live a life of holiness because only birds of the same feather can flock together. You cannot continue in sin and expect grace to abound. The question then comes…. Who can depart from evil? Proverbs 16:6 it said by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil. Proverbs 6:6 by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil. That’s why the Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. If you are not afraid of God; if you don’t fear God, you will not depart from evil. I know some people say, “No, no, no.. we are not supposed to fear God we are just to reverence Him!” May I tell you the truth – the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Anyone who is not afraid of the One whose name is a consuming fire is a fool. It is only those who fear the Lord who depart from evil. I remember years ago when we were young, whenever some people are talking about something evil we will say, “God is listening! God is listening! I have no hand in it – God is listening.” The reason why people can do whatever they like now is because they have forgotten that God is listening. The reason you can plan how to destroy somebody else is because you have forgotten that God is paying attention. If you are afraid of God you will depart from evil.

Tell your neighbour you need to be afraid of God. I say you need to be afraid of God. And you see the beauty of it is this – those who fear God, there are tremendous advantages for them! In fact when I study the Bible I just discovered that fearing God alone might be more than enough to solve all your problems. I will give you some – it is not possible for me in one lecture to give you all the advantages of fearing the Lord.. Look at Psalm 31:19-20 he said there are great goodness and security that Almighty God has laid up for those who fear Him. He said, he will hide them in his presence. The moment God knows that you fear him he said there are some great goodness that had been hidden for you. Let’s see some of them. Psalm 112:3 He said, Blessed is the man that fears the Lord, his seed – that is his children – shall be mighty! How many of you want your children to be mighty? I’m yet to meet somebody who would want his children to be houseboy, housegirl, messenger…. I remember one fellow – he was a very poor man, he was a washer-man in the hospital and every one of his children he gave them big names. He called one “Manager”, one “Prince”, I’ve forgotten the name he called the other one but each one had big names. In other words he said look, in my own case it is settled, this is how far I can go, but you, you are going to be a manager, you – you are going to be a Prince and you, you may be Managing Director! How many of you want your children to be greater than you? So shall it be in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) It says, Blessèd is the man that fears the Lord, His seed shall be mighty, his generation shall be blessed.

Psalm 128 … and your children will be children of peace. He went on to say – you will be blessed out of Zion. Mount Zion is the city of God. Zion is the place where there is always deliverance. He said the Almighty God will bless you from His throne room. He went on to say you will live long enough to see your grandchildren. (Amen!) In other words he says, if you fear the Lord there is no way you can die young! And went on to say if you will fear the Lord, you will enjoy peace. (Amen!) You know there are some people who grow old and pray that God will kill them but if you fear the Lord even in your old age there will be so much peace: You will eat the labour of your hand, you will be happy, it will be well with you, your wife will be fruitful, your children will be anointed – they’ll be children of peace.. (Amen!) God will bless you out of Zion, you will live long to see your grandchildren and you will enjoy peace.

But that’s not all. Look at Psalm 25:12-13. It said, if you fear the Lord certain things will follow. Number one – your soul shall dwell at ease. There’ll be nothing to worry you. I have discovered long ago the only person to fear is God. Once you fear God, you have nothing else to fear. If you fear the Almighty God He will defend you. Anybody who tries to attack you will be attacking the apple of His eyes. That is why you find some people that just go about anywhere they want, completely at ease because they fear the Lord. And then it went on to say that your seed shall inherit the earth! In other words your children will be so mighty they’ll be the controller of the whole world. (Amen!) And then he went on to say something in Psalm 25:14; he said if you fear the Lord He will begin to reveal His secrets to you. One of the things I love most about my work with the Lord is that from time to time He tells me what is coming. And I’m telling you it is a beautiful thing to be able to hear from the Lord. I know some people are already worried now – they are afraid for the rest of the year. Oh, some of them are even panicking concerning next year. And I already know what is going to happen. “Oh, what is it that is going to happen?” I can tell you – it is going to be well with me. I don’t know about you, but it is going to be well with me. I can tell you, those of you who had already done your fifty days fast, you can sit down now and begin to enjoy the rest of the year. (Amen!) Those who have not done their own – God have mercy on you! But the secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him. The Bible says in Proverbs 10:27, it said the fear of the Lord prolongeth days. In other words, if you fear the Lord you will just keep on living. You will see your children, you will see your grandchildren, you will see your great grandchildren and you will be at peace.

Now, but this is for us parents, we parents we must fear the Lord, we must teach the children the fear of the Lord because Deuteronomy 6:2, it says if you begin to teach your children and grandchildren to fear the Lord and to keep His commandments, God will prolong your days. I want you to tell your neighbour, “I’ve told you before – you need to fear the Lord, you need to fear the Lord.”

And what kind of children will attract God’s blessing? I think it is time now we talk to the children and when we say we are talking to the children, we are talking to those of us who are children. I am a child in the hand of Almighty God but I also have children. What kind of children will attract God’s blessings? Number one – wise children, wise children. Who is a wise person? The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Wise children. Proverbs 3:21-26, it said, my son be wise, if you are wise the following things will happen. Number one, it said, you’ll be safe as you move about. Wherever you go, safety will be yours. Number 2, it said you’ll be safe when you sleep. Number 3, it said your sleep will be sound and sweet. Number four, it said you will have nothing else to fear. And then number five it said the Lord will be your confidence. You will be able to stand up boldly and say, “ I know I am secure because the Lord is on my side.”

What kind of children will attract God’s blessings because when they are wise, whether they go to the school, whether they are in the boarding house or the house, as they move about they will be safe. When they sleep at night, they will be safe. When they are sleeping, their sleep will be sound and sweet, there’ll be nothing to frighten them and the Lord will be their confidence.

Number two – the kind of child that is going to attract God’s blessing must be a submissive child, a child that submits to the parents. Exodus 20:12 it said, honour your father and your mother, that your days may be long! Honour your father and your mother so that you will not die young. If you honour your father and your mother, one day you too will become a father and a mother. In other words, it says if you dishonour your father and your mother, you are not likely to become a father or a mother. And we have a good example in Genesis 22. You can read the whole story from verse 1-18. Genesis 22:1-18 it is the story of Abraham and Isaac, when God asked Abraham to offer Isaac as a sacrifice. Remember at that time Abraham was almost 120 years old and Isaac was about 15 years old – healthy, strong, and then he asked the father, “Daddy, we can see the wood, the fire, the knife, wood, fire , knife … where is the lamb for the sacrifice?” Because he was feeling uncomfortable. Oh the mother said, “Oh, the Lord will provide Himself a lamb for the sacrifice.” And then they got to the mountaintop. The father prepared the altar and then said, “My son, lie down.” “What! You are going to kill me?” What do you think some fifteen-year-old boy would have done? I mean do you think a man who is almost 120 years can overcome a fifteen year-old boy? I mean, I would have thought.. Something is wrong with Daddy.. and when Daddy said, lie down, he will just run away, that is all. Even if he didn’t tell him to lie down – if he grabbed hold of him to put him there by force, do you think he could have succeeded? I have sons and I’ve shaken hands with them before and I know that the power in their hands now is the power that used to be in my hands some 40 years ago. It’s not their any more. I remember when we were building the Camp here some 20-something years ago. I could carry one bag of cement on my left hand, one on my right! And I will say I’m balancing the equation. Now I wouldn’t try that! I’m not so stupid as to try that now. But Abraham said to that boy, “Lie down.” And he said, “Yes Daddy.” He tied him and he submitted When you read verse 15-18 when God began to speak, “Abraham because you have done this, by myself have I sworn, in blessing I will bless you, That’s what he said to Abraham. Then God turned to Isaac, I will bless your Dad but I will multiply you I will make you far, far greater than your Dad. You will take over the territories of your enemies. You will be blessing to the whole world. A child that submits to his parents – while the parents will be blessed, that child will be multiplied, that child will take over the territories of the enemies. That child will become a blessing to the whole world.

Ephesians 6:1 The Bible made it clear that you are not only to obey your biological parents, you are to obey your spiritual parents too. You obey your Pastors, obey your Sunday School teachers, obey those who are in authority over you spiritually because that is going to enable you qualify for a double portion of their anointing. And then Proverbs 23:22 says, hearken to thy father, despise not they mother when she is old. Now that’s one thing that all children need to note. You see when mama begins to get old she may not look as beautiful as she used to look but remember your Mum is your Mum. When your father is getting old and some teeth begin to fall out and some hairs begin to disappear, he may not look as healthy or as strong or as handsome as he used to look but your father is still your father. Honour them because a sentence from them can determine the course of the rest of your life. When your parents say it will be well with you you can be sure it will be well. And that’s why I am saying to all of you who are here today, it will be well with you in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!)

I’ve said it again and again, I keep saying it until it will sink – I am what I am today by the grace of God and by the prayers of my Mum. Whenever I satisfy my mother, she will always say: You this child, you will call one person, two hundred will answer. At that time I didn’t know what that one meant but I know today if I say, “Pastor, come!” I know that more than 200 Pastors will come running. As many of you children who will fear the Lord and honour your parents from today onwards, if you call one person, one thousand will answer! (Amen!) I didn’t hear your Amen to that one… (Amen!)

Why are children so special to God? Psalm 127 verse 3, it says, children are the heritage of the Lord. Children belong to the Lord they are just given to us parents to look after them. Matthew 19:13-15, it said the Kingdom of God belongs to children so in other words if old people want to enter the Kingdom of God they have to get permission from the children. Matthew 18:1-4 said that the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven are the children. Matthew 18:3 made it clear, if you want to enter the Kingdom of God, you have to convert and become like a little child. If you are not willing to become like a little child you can never enter the Kingdom of God. That is why you will discover that many, many people will not be able to enter the Kingdom of God because they will not be able to take it easily as God presents it. I mean because when you want to enter into the Kingdom of God you put your brain aside and let your heart lead you. It has to be by faith, not by reason. That’s why many, many academicians find it so difficult to surrender to Jesus. I know the problem I had before I could surrender to Jesus. But thank God, finally, I saw the light. I pray that those of you who are still struggling today, you will surrender to Him and see the light also.

The Kingdom of God is only a Kingdom of faith – not by argument, not by reasoning, not by science, not by philosophy. It has to be by faith. And that’s one beautiful thing about children. They find it so easy to believe. They have taught me several lessons. Children have taught me several lessons…. On faith! Even when it looks like the faith if an elder is shaking, the faith of a child will carry the day! And I’m sharing a secret with you. I f at anytime you have prayed and you don’t seem to be getting an answer, ask your child to pray for you, ask your child to lay hands on you and pray for you in the name of Jesus. By the time that child says Amen you can be sure it is done because a child does not doubt.

My Sunday Scholl teacher taught me something years ago. One of my elders there now, he taught me in Sunday School. He gave an illustration on faith that destroyed all my arguments. He said if a child is standing on the balcony of a house and the father is standing down there and he says, “Daddy, shall I jump? And the Daddy says, “Jump, I will catch you.” What will the child do? That was the lesson that changed my life completely when it comes to faith. Even the human father may fail. The child may jump and the father may discover that ah.. the child is heavier than I thought. Or both the father and the child may fall but underneath are everlasting arms. My Father in heaven can never fail. HE can never fall. How heavy am I? In the hand of the One who supports the whole earth in His hand? If the Almighty God asked me to jump. I will jump. That’s why I’ve been jumping. That’s why I jumped for Lekki ’98. That’s why I’ve been jumping for Festivals 99 and 2000. That’s why I jump in the Congress of 2001. That’s why I’m going to keep jumping. It is because I jump, that’s why we have Redemption Camp today. It’s because I’m going to keep jumping that one day, everybody in Nigeria will be a Christian. (Amen!)

How many of you know that God can never fail? Let me hear you say ‘Amen!’ (Amen!)Are you willing to jump into the hands of the Almighty? That’s what He’s saying when He says you must be born again… Forget your brain, forget your position, forget your reasoning. Daddy says you must be born again That’s settled, surrender your life to me and I take over from there./ All you have to do is surrender. That’s why I’m calling on those of you who are here tonight, who are not yet born again. Become like a child. Surrender. Give your life to Him. Let Him take over! You have been managing this ting yourself, how far has it taken you? You have been protecting yourself before, with charms, with covenants with all kinds of things. How far has it taken you? But here comes somebody, the Almighty God Himself, saying, Put your life in My hands! Surrender! Some trust in horses, some trust in chariots but we trust in the Lord our God.. Safety is of the Lord. Come like a child. Surrender your life to Him and He will take over from now on.

So. if you are here and you are not yet born again, or you are here and you are not sure of your salvation – before we do anything further come and surrender your life to Him. Wherever you may be, come and stand before the altar, let us pray together that the Almighty God may forgive your sins; that He will save your souls; that He may begin to take care of you from now on. So if you want to give your life to Jesus. I’m going to count up to ten. From wherever you are come now – the Lord is waiting to receive you and to forgive you. If you refuse to surrender to Him He’s not going to force you but then don’t blame Him if the devil keeps on torturing you.

One, two... If you want to give your life to Jesus you must get here before I say ten.. three.. four…five – its not by force – the choice is yours: either you come to the Lord or you stay with the devil. Its either you come to your maker or you keep on depending on all those secret societies, all those herbalists and they keep on lying to you, and they keep on cheating you… instead of coming free of charge to the One who made you, the One who never fails, the One who will never sleep, who will never slumber.. six now, if you know you want to come you have to hasten your steps because God is not going to wait for you forever. He brought you here because He wants to be merciful unto you but you can refuse His mercy – the choice is yours! Seven now. Now I know there are some of you coming from a long distance but you have to hurry up now. This is your own day of salvation. Come and surrender your life to Him! Come and say Lord. take over from here. He said, “Come unto me, all ye who labour and are heavy-laden and I will give you rest. He wants to give rest to you. 8 now. As soon as I reach ten it will be too late because God has given you this opportunity and He has been talking to you since this evening, He has been speaking to your heart – it is now up to you to decide. Nine now, nine – before the gates of mercy will close – hurry up! Come quickly from all over the place! Everywhere… come the Lord is calling you.

Now those of us who are already in front, let is begin to pray and say, Father I’ve come to you tonight, come to surrender myself to You. Have mercy on me! Save my soul! Forgive my sins! … The rest of us in the congregation, please stretch your hands towards them and pray for them that the Almighty God will save their souls, that He will be merciful unto them. That the o=One who saved your soul will save their soul also and if you are still coming you better hurry up before it is too late! This is your day, this your hour of salvation. The Lord is calling you now, He’s saying come, come before it is too late. Come now, come and give your life to Him! Cry unto Him – Father, have mercy on me, save my soul, be merciful unto me, be merciful unto me tonight, forgive all my sins, come into my life, come and be my Lord, be my Saviour.. the power that is in Your Blood, let it wash away all my sins, let it wash away all my sins. I surrender to you tonight. I surrender completely. I surrender completely Lord. I surrender I surrender I surrender my life to You. Completely, completely, completely Lord. I surrender my life to You. Wash me in Your Blood Lord, save my soul, make me a true child of the living God Lord. I surrender Lord I surrender completely. I surrender completely. Take over from now, be my leader my Lord, my Saviour from this moment onwards let me be Your child, doing Your Will, all the days of my life. Give me true salvation tonight. True salvation tonight, that Your Name might be glorified. Thank You Father! Glory be to Your Name! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed!

My Father and my God! we want to bless Your Holy Name for all these Your children that have come forward. If there’s any one still in the crowd that is not yet born again, even before we finish praying Father bring such people forward in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) These Your children that have come forward I commit them into Your hands. Forgive their sins. (Amen!) Save their souls. (Amen!) Wash them m in Your Blood. (Amen!) Write their Names in the Book of Life. (Amen!) As they have surrendered to You please receive them Lord (Amen!) don’t let them ever go back into the world. (Amen!) Writ their names in the Book of Life (Amen!) And anytime they call on You from today answer them in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) In Your Kingdom don’t let them be found wanting (Amen!) In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed! Amen. Praise the Lord!

Before we thank God I need to maybe tell you a story. A brother came from Upcountry and brought his daughter and said, “Sir, help me, my daughter is a witch.” “how can you say this beautiful little thing is a witch?” He said, “I’ll tell you the story.” The daughter woke up one day and said, Daddy, do you know I’m a witch? And the father said, what kind of nonsense is that? Shut up! I’m not joking, I’m a witch. Ah what do you mean?. Shut up. The child said, “You want me to show you evidence?” The father said, ‘Okay, yes.” And the child went under the bed of the father and pulled out a pot full of blood. So the father picked the child and began to run down to Redemption Camp. Ho did you get into this? The child said, “I went to school and somebody gave me a sweet to eat and from that time I began to attend meeting at night. And I just don’t like it. I don’t like the way we are killing people and drinking their blood.” Anyway so we prayed and God set the child free as God is going to set all children in the same situation free tonight. (Amen!) But after the prayer so I now said, “She’s free now Papa, you can go.” He said, “Oh no, the child will stay here with you at the camp. I said, {No, no, no, it’s your child…” “I can’t sleep in the same house with her anymore.” I said, “Don’t be silly my dear, before she confessed who has been protecting you?”

Brethren, we don’t know how many dangers had passed over us. I think we need to thank God that up to now He had not given us over to the fowler. Let’s pray. Let’s talk to the Almighty God. Father, I want to thank You that up to this moment You have not handed me over to the fowler, I want to thank You that You have not allowed my enemies to triumph over me. I want to thank You because even in my innocence You have been protecting me. When I’m sleeping, You have been protecting me because You never sleep, You never slumber. I want to thank You for Your protection over me, for Your protection over my children. I want to thank You that You have not allowed the fowlers to take over my children. I want to thank You. Let’s go ahead and just thank the Almighty God from the bottom of our hearts – say Father, I thank You that up to this moment You have been my refuge, You have been my fortress. I thank You that You have not allowed my enemies to triumph over me. I want to bless Your Holy Name. Thank You because You have been my rock. How many battles have You fought on my behalf that I don’t even know about? I want to thank You. How many enemies do I know that I have? Many of the people smiling at me as friends are my enemies? Do I know? Only You can tell. It’s You had been protecting me. I want to thank You, thank You for Your protection. Thank You because safety is of the Lord. Thank You! for shedding Your light into my darkness. I bless Your Name! I bless Your Name! I bless Your Name Lord ! I bless Your Name! I bless Your Name forever! Thank You! for being so good. Thank You! for being so kind. Thank You! for being so faithful. Thank You! that You are always there for me. I praise You Lord. I bless Your Holy Name Thank You! for being so constant that even in the time of trouble You are there. You are the ever-present help in time of trouble. In all these ages past You have been there for me. I thank You Lord. Go ahead thank Him, bless His holy Name…

…More anointed, O Lord make them more prosperous! Let them be holy, let them be pure, let them serve You! Let all my children be more blessed than I! Let them be greater than I Lord! Let them be far, far, greater than I! Almighty God Let all my children prosper more than I! let them love You, let them serve You, let them live a life of holiness, a life of purity, of humility, a life of a close walk with You! Father, let my children be greater than I, let them be mightier than I! Let it be so Lord! Almighty God let it be so! Let all my children be far, far greater than I – far, far, superior to me Lord. Help them. Help them Lord! Let it be so Father! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed!.

The next prayer is a very special one. I’m not going to beg you to pray it. If you like don’t pray it. Say, Father don’t let me ever bury any of my children. Let’s talk to the Almighty. The great I Am that I AM I call on You today Lord, don’t let me bury any of my children…. In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed!

The next prayer is very similar, Father Don’t let me have cause to weep over my children. Let’s cry to the Almighty God. Don’t let me ever have cause to weep over my children. Don’t let my children go mad. Don’t let them go astray. Don’t let me ever have cause to weep over my children! Let my children be children of joy, children of peace, children that will bring laughter to my mouth. Don’t let me have cause to weep over my children! Father, I beg You tonight don’t let me ever have cause to weep over my children. Please Lord, don’t let me weep over my children. don’t let me ever have cause to weep over my children. Please don’t let me ever weep over my children. Thank You Father. Blessed be Your Holy Name! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed!

Now finally, you are going to say Father, help me so that myself and my family will serve me forever. Let’s call on the Almighty God: Help[ me Lord, so that I’ll be able to say, but for me and my house, we will serve the Lord – myself, my family, my children, my grandchildren, my generations after me, that we will serve the Lord, serve the Lord only, we will serve the Lord only. Help me Lord that me and my family we will serve the Lord, the Lord and the Lord alone! Lord help me that me and my family we will serve the Lord only! we will serve the Lord only! we will serve the Lord only! Oh We bless Your Holy Name. Let me and my house serve You forever. Let us serve You in fear, in trembling, let us serve You in holiness, let us serve you in love, in joy, let us serve You with everything we have got! Lord let my family serve You forever! Thank You Father! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed!

Talk to Him now. Blessed be Your Holy Name Lord!… Let’s begin to bring our prayers to a close. In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed!

Father, we bless Your Name that up to now You have not allowed the enemy to triumph over us. Glory be to Your Holy Name! Father, accept our thanks in Jesus’ Name! Now Lord I commit all these Your children into Your hands. Every prayer they have prayed tonight answer them in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Keep the fowlers away from us in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) If there’s any that has been caught Father, release tonight in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) Do something special tonight in Jesus’ Name! (Amen!) By the time the sun will rise Father, let our joy overflow. Thank You Father! In Jesus’ mighty Name we have prayed! Amen! Let somebody now shout ‘Alleluia’ (Alleluia!)
