Night of Prophecies
There is no one like Him! He is the King of Kings! He is the Prince of Peace!
He is the Lord of Lords! He is the I Am that I Am! He is the Ancient of Days!
Praise Him! Magnify His holy Name! He is our God! Our King! Our Lord! Our
Redeemer! Our Provider! There is no one like Him! Magnify His holy Name! Praise
Him! Exalt Him! Extoll Him! There is no one, no one that can love you like He
has done! Please Praise Him! Tell Him you love Him! Tell Him He is worthy!
Magnify His holy Name! Praise Him! Exalt Him! Exalt Him! There is no one, no one
like Him! Please praise Him! Tell Him you love Him, you appreciate Him! Magnify
His holy Name! He is the King of Kings! The Lord of Lords! The I Am that I Am!
The Ancient of Days! Let’s praise Him! Let’s adore Him! Let’s lift Him high! Oh
Father we bless Your name! We magnify Your holy name! You are worthy to be
praised! You are worthy to be adored! Worthy! Worthy! Worthy! Worthy is the Lamb
that was slain! Glory, Alleluia! Thank You Daddy! Thank You for loving us! Thank
You for standing by us! Thank You for being by our side! Blessed! Blessed!
Blessed! Blessed! Blessed be Your holy Name! We will always praise You! We will
always adore You! We will always magnify Your holy name! Thank You Lord! Thank
You! Thank You! Thank You! Angels are singing You are worthy O Lord!……
Go ahead and worship Him one more time! Let’s bless the King of Kings! The
Lord of Lords! The Ancient of Days! The I Am that I Am! O Father we worship You!
Thank You Father! Blessed be Your Name! ….. We give You all glory! We give You
all honour! We give You all adoration! Thank You Father! Blessed be Your Holy
Name! Thank You Lord! Thank You Father! Thank You! Thank You Lord! Glory be to
God! Thank You Lord! … Thank You Father! Thank You Lord! Thank You Lord!
So Father we just want to bless Your Name! You are the King of kings and the
LORD of Lords! You are the Ancient of Days! The Rock of Ages! The Unchangeable
One! The I Am that I Am! The Alpha! The Omega! The beginning! The ending! The
One who is! The One who was! The One who is to come! The Almighty! Your name is
Wonderful! Your name is Counsellor! Your Name is Mighty God! You are the
everlasting Father! You are The Prince of Peace! Glory! Glory! Glory! Glory!
Glory! Glory! Glory be to Your holy Name! (Amen!) Accept our worship in Jesus
name! (Amen!) Tonight Father, do what You promised (Amen!) and do more! (Amen!)
Save souls tonight! (Amen!) Heal tonight! (Amen!) Deliver tonight! (Amen!) Bless
tonight! (Amen!) Surprise tonight! (Amen!) Glorify Your Name tonight! (Amen!) At
the end of everything take all the glory and give us all the blessing - in Jesus
mighty name we have prayed! (Amen!) Thank you! Let somebody shout ‘Alleluia!’
(Alleluia!)
Tonight is a very special night. It’s a night of prophecies. I know somebody
is here today God is going to talk to you. If you are the one let me hear you
shout ‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!) So we want to kick off by you helping me to
prophesy to seven people. You look them straight in the face. Shake hands with
them and tell them, "Your joy will be full tonight. Your joy will be full
tonight." If you believe that then shout ‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!) God bless you,
you may be seated.
I am sure some of us have already received many prophecies tonight. I have
received so many. I listed them as they came. The first one was: I will see you
at the top. How many of you are going to the top with me? I will see you at the
top. (Amen!) The second one is that you will have a breakthrough. (Amen!) I will
have a breakthrough! The third one I received is that there will be deliverance
tonight. (Amen!) So I believe every yoke in my life will be gone tonight.
(Amen!) Another one I received is that as far as the Redeemed Christian Church
of God is concerned we haven’t seen anything yet! (Amen!) How many of you
received that one too? I received yet another one, it says God will not fail me!
You mean you received that one too? And then I received yet another one. It says
God will make room for me. Isn’t that wonderful? And then I received yet another
one, that the evidence of my problem will become the evidence of my testimony.
(Amen!) Did you receive that one also? And yet I received another one, that the
people’s testimony about me from now on is that we have never seen this type of
miracle before! Did you receive that one too?
I warned you at the beginning, that there is a preacher that I love to hear
preach. In thirty minutes how many miracles, how many prophecies did I receive?
I received about ten. That’s not bad for one night. Even if I receive just that,
that’s enough for one night. The joy of somebody is going to be full tonight.
(Amen!)
We want to continue with our series "Reversing the Irreversible." Ezekiel
37:4-8: And He said unto me, "Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, 'O
ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these
bones: "Behold I will cause breathe to enter into you, and ye shall live. And I
will lay sinews upon you and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with
skin and put breathe in you and ye shall live and ye shall know that I am the
LORD." So I prophesied as I was commanded and as I prophesied, there was a
noise, and behold a shaking and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And
when I beheld, lo the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin
covered them above.
That’s where we hope to stop tonight. If it pleases the Almighty God when we
get into the New Year we’ll pick it up from there. How many of you are sure you
will see the New Year? Are you sure? Let me hear you shout ‘Alleluia!’
(Alleluia!) No doubt about it! I will see you in the New Year. (Amen!)
As we learnt in the last Holy Ghost that God will start by arranging a divine
appointment and then He will provoke a discussion. After that He will issue a
decree or set of decrees. In the story we are looking at here He arranged a
divine appointment between Ezekiel and the dry bones. And then He provoked a
discussion by asking Ezekiel "Can these bones live?" And now He issued a decree
to Ezekiel. He said, "son of man prophesy - prophesy to the dry bones." And the
Almighty God has decided that tonight prophecies will come your way. (Amen!)
Now how come, that God asked Ezekiel to prophesy? Amos 3:7-8 says Surely the
Lord God will not do a thing but He reveals His secret unto His servants the
prophets, and then after He has revealed His secret to His prophets, then the
prophets will now prophesy. The Lord has revealed a secret to me tonight that
the joy of somebody will be full here tonight. (Amen!)
One thing we have discovered is that God loves to work through men. In Gen.
2:19-20 After God created the animals He brought them to Adam to see whatever
name Adam will call them: And whatever name he called them, that was the name
they bear up till today. He brought one to him he said, "This one shall be
called a lion," and it is a lion till today. God could have named the animals
Himself but he decided to use Adam to name them. As a matter of fact when you
read Gen. 2:21-23 you will discover that it was Adam who named his wife "Woman"
after God formed woman out of the rib that He took from Adam and brought her to
Adam. Adam said ‘Oh’, said, "This is the bone, of my bone, flesh of my flesh,
she shall be called ‘Woman.’" And from that day till today whenever you see
somebody who can be married to a man you call her what? ‘Woman’ God loves to
work through men. It is my prayer that He will work through us tonight. (Amen!)
Now because prophecy is very prominent in what God wants to do tonight, I
would need to talk to you very briefly on the power of prophecy. When a Word of
Prophecy comes through a true prophet of God, it is an extremely powerful thing.
Whenever God speaks through His prophet you better pay close attention. In. 1
Samuel 2:19 the word of God made it clear there that when God speaks through His
prophet before the saliva from the mouth of that prophet will touch the ground
the word of God spoken is already done. That’s why I want to repeat one more
time- the joy of somebody will be full here tonight. (Amen!)
The reason why prophecy is so powerful, the one that really comes from God,
that is, that it is God speaking in the language of men. And when God speaks, it
is done Ps. 33:8-9 It says, Let the whole earth fear before Him because He spake
and it is done. Just as He said let there be light and there was light. So I am
saying, He saying through me to you tonight that in all the lives of the
children of God here gathered there will be light tonight! (Amen!) I didn’t hear
your ‘Amen!’ (Amen!) That’s why 2 Chron. 20:20 says, "Believe in the Lord your
God so shall ye be established. Believe His prophets so shall ye prosper."
Somebody is going to prosper here tonight. (Amen!) So there is tremendous power
in the Word of Prophecy particularly if it is coming from God through a true
prophet.
So how should I relate to a word of prophecy? If I hear a word of prophecy
what must I do?
The first thing you should do is receive it by faith, even if you don’t
understand how it could ever happen. Once God speaks, receive it by faith. You
may not understand how it can ever be, but if it is God who has spoken, it shall
come to pass.
In Luke 1 if you read from verse 34 to 38 the Bible says an Angel had come to
tell a virgin and to tell her that she was going to become the mother of a
special son. And then the lady, the young virgin said "How can this be? I don’t
even have a husband yet? I don’t understand." And the Angel went on to say that
the Holy Ghost will overshadow you, the power of the Most High shall come upon
you. That was even more confusing than before. "I was talking about getting
married and You are talking about Holy Ghost overshadowing me what does that
mean?" But at the end the lady said, "I don’t understand what You are saying,
How it can come to pass I do not know, but be it unto me according to Your
word." There is somebody here tonight, the word of God may come to you in a way
you find difficult to understand. A prophecy may come out and you know this
prophecy is mine but you may not understand how can it be. I have good news for
you. If you can just receive it and say ‘Amen’ God will work out the details.
(Amen!)
I was sharing with our senior pastors yesterday, several years ago, more than
twenty years ago, I went to America and I stopped at a town called Dallas to change plane to continue to Tulsa, and God spoke to me and said, "Son this town Dallas
shall be the Head quarters of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in
America." I said ‘Amen!’ At that time
we don’t even have a house fellowship in America. How can
you be talking about Headquarters in a place where you have no church? Even the
Headquarters in Nigeria at Ebute-Metta we were still
struggling with some people over the land. But God began to move, He saw a man
and told him to go and buy a piece of land. The man said, "I don’t need the
land." God said, "Just buy it. It is not for you is for somebody who is coming."
And when the time came the man saw one of our Pastors and God told him, "That’s
the man for whom you bought the land. Hand over the land to him."
When God makes a promise, you may not know how He will do it. Just understand
He is the Almighty. And I am prophesying to you now in His name: every problem
you brought here tonight will become a testimony! (Amen!) When you hear a word
of prophecy - number one receive it by faith.
Number two, please do not ask God for signs because if you ask Him for signs
you may get what you do not bargain for. In Luke 1:13-20 an Angel brought a word
to Zacharias. Told him, "You are going to have a son, he is going to be great
etc. etc. " and Zacharias said, "How can I know that this will be so?" He had a
wife. It’s just that himself and the wife they were old. And he was a High
Priest, somebody who should be able to trust God. He said, Give me a sign. "So
the Angel said," "you want a sign, I will give you one. You will not be able to
talk until the boy is born." When you hear a word of prophecy receive it by
faith but don’t ask God for signs.
Number three, if you have any doubt concerning a word of prophecy, please
keep your mouth shut. Don’t speak it out - if you have any doubt at all because
your doubts will not stop what God wants to do. But your doubt, if you vocalize
it, can cause trouble for you. In 2 Kings 7:1-2 there was a prophet, Elisha by
name, he made a prophecy that was really unbelievable. At a time of very severe
famine he prophesied that by the following morning a bag of rice in Oyigbo will
be costing N10.00. (Amen!) Which of course sounded impossible and then one chief
said, "Even if God were to open windows in heaven can this thing be?" The man of
God turned to him and said, "You will see it with your eyes but you won’t eat
part of it." Anytime God sends a word even if you find it difficult to believe,
keep your mouth shut. The only thing you could say is just say ‘Amen!’ and leave
it at that.
And then the fourth thing that you should do ….
Thank You Father. The Lord said there is a woman here tonight that’s been
told that you can never, never have a child. The Lord asked me to tell you there
will be a shaking in your womb very soon. (Amen!) Thank You! Thank You! Let’s
give the Lord a big hand! That’s going to come very quickly! Alleluia! Thank You
Lord! Thank You Lord!
Now the next thing you should do when you receive a Word of Prophecy is that
you must pray your prophecy into manifestation. As soon as God gives you a word,
grab it and keep praying until it comes to pass. In 1 Kings 18:41-45 Elijah
said, "I have heard the sound of the abundance of rain." In other words he was
prophesying that there will be abundance of rain. And yet there had been no rain
for three and half years and the sky was clear, no cloud at all but he
prophesied because he heard God told him there was going to be abundance of rain
and he prophesied it. And I am prophesying to someone today – "In your business
there will be abundance of rain. (Amen!) But then after Elijah prophesied, he
prayed seven times before the rain fell. He kept on praying: "I know what I
heard. God spoke. God won’t lie. What He said must come to pass." So he kept on
praying. He held on to God until the miracle happened. Somebody is going to pray
tonight and pray and pray until there is a breakthrough in Jesus name!
(Amen!)
Now if prophecy is this powerful, how can we provoke a prophecy? How can we
get God to speak through His servants? Prophecies come whenever God is
particularly near. When I say God is particularly near you all know that God is
everywhere at all times but once in a while you yourself will know. "Ah-ah God
is here in particular." I mean some of us will remember June of this year when
we began the series on ‘Reversing the Irreversible’. The power of God came down
so mightily I couldn’t even continue the preaching. I have good news for you, I
can feel His presence tonight, I believe He’s going to be greater than June.
(Amen!)
So if God, being particularly near, will provoke a prophecy and Ps. 22:3
tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people, then you know that when we
begin to praise God the way we ought to, He draws near and when He draws near,
prophecy will begin to flow. So in order to provoke prophecy basically what is
required is intense praise and worship. When you are praising Him the way you
ought to and to you make Him happy then even if He didn’t want to speak before,
He will begin to speak. I am sure you know yourself, at least before you became
a Christian, how the drummers, the musician used to take all your money from
you. You went to attend a party, the money in your pocket you borrowed it, but
then when you got there, the musician began to call your name and he began to
give you titles that you don’t even have. He will say your father is the king of
the land where you are a stranger. He calls you the "Emergency contractor" and
before you know it your head begins to swell. You are a messenger but he says
you are a Managing Director and then you take the money in your pocket and give
it to him. When you are going to give him the money something inside of you is
telling you: you borrowed this money… You say shut up when we get home we will
settle that."
When you praise a man, he will do what he didn’t plan to do. Man is made in
the image of God. When you praise God, the way you ought to prophecy will begin
to flow. If you read 2nd Kings chapter 3 from verse 14-20,…
Thank You Father! The Lord said there is someone here tonight with a bent
back. He said your back is straightening up now. (Amen!) All glory be to God!
Your back is already straightening up.
In 2 Kings 3:14-20 when Elisha wanted to prophesy, he said "Get me a
minstrel. Get somebody who can sing, somebody who can praise God, somebody who
can worship Him. "And when that fellow came in and began to praise God the way
he ought to, the Bible says the hand of God came upon him. And tonight at the
appropriate time as we begin to praise Him, as we begin to worship Him, I am
believing God that a word will come for somebody here tonight in Jesus name.
(Amen!)
But let’s go a step further and learn how to provoke personal prophecy. When
we are in a crowd like this prophecies could come - after all if you refuse to
praise God and the rest of us are praising God who will know that you are not
praising Him? But when it is between me and God how do I get God to send a word
to me personally?
The first thing we need to know is that God is Sovereign. Ps. 115:3. It says
our God is in the heavens and He does as He pleases. He does as he pleases. So
it doesn’t matter. He can speak to me. He can speak to you. He can speak to just
one person out of all this crowd. All you need to do is get Him to speak one
word to you and everything will change.
In Matt. 8:8 the Centurion said to Jesus, "You don’t need to come to my
house. Speak a word only. You just prophesy and say my servant is well that’s
all." One word only! And I’m sure somebody is here tonight who will love to hear
just one word from God. Whoever you are may I tell you on behalf of the Lord,
"It will be well." (Amen!) I say it will be well. (Amen!)
To provoke personal prophecy - Prophecy for you on your own, there are
certain things you must do. Three simple things so that you will be able to
remember them – number 1 - PUT GOD FIRST - In everything in your life put God
first. In 1 Kings 17:8-16 in the story of the widow of Zarephath when Elijah
came to her and said, "Give me water to drink." you must know that at that time
water was scarce because at that time there had been no rain for one year, but
she was willing to share the water she had with the man of God. Then when the
man of God asked for food she said, "I’m sorry I have only one meal left." The
man of God said, "Put my own first. Give me the food first. I am a servant of
the Most High so put God first and answer me first. It was because she was
willing to put God first, that’s why a personal prophecy came to her. And the
man of God said, "From now on until the famine is over there will be abundance
in this house." And I’m saying to somebody here tonight, from now on, just as we
heard, God will make room for you! (Amen!)
I have told you the story before of a small girl who came to my office and
said, "I have been saving money to travel abroad but God spoke to me and said I
should go and give the money to you." I’m sure you remember the story. I had
some serious need, but I’m not the kind of people who will tell the congregation
this is my need. But we had a meeting, School of Disciples and so I told the
disciples, about one thousand of them then, I said I have some needs. I want you
to pray that God will perform a miracle. I didn’t tell them what I needed
because if I had told them, I’m sure they will want to take a special offering.
And if I do it that way it won’t be a miracle any more. So they prayed and left.
Sunday morning this little girl came and said, "God spoke to me and said I
should go and give you this envelope. I’ve been saving this money so that I can
travel abroad. "Number one I was surprised that God could speak to such a small
girl, but because she said "God said." So I took the envelope and I wasn’t
expecting anything serious in the envelope and I prayed for her and I told her,
"You want to go abroad? You will go." That was a personal prophecy. She left. I
opened the envelope. "Inside the envelope was N500 which was a lot of money in
those days, which solved all the problems I had completely.
Weeks passed I didn’t see this little girl again. Then one day she came.
Taking a look at her I knew she must be coming from America because the cheeks
were already rosy. Glory be to God! "Ah my little girl where have you been?" And
she told me the story. She said, "I have a friend in school and the father came
to my parents and said, "Please, we are travelling abroad and our daughter said
she will want to go with her friend. Please allow your daughter to go with our
daughter." So she went! All expenses paid! Today I’m saying to somebody here, in
a way you cannot understand the Almighty God will meet all your needs! (Amen!)
If you want a personal prophecy, number one put God first. Number two go the
extra mile in taking care of God’s prophet. In other words you must take care of
the prophet of God in an extra way. In 2 Kings 4:8-17 it tells us the story of
the Shunammite woman who saw a servant of God passing by and compelled him to
come to her house to eat. You know the story very well - she compelled Elisha to
come and eat and after Elisha tasted the first meal and found it so delicious,
according to the Word of God, any time he was passing by after that he will
branch at the woman’s house and say, "Sister, I just come to say how, how are
you? "And the woman will say, "Ah you are welcome sir, the table is set." And
after some time the woman said, "No, no, no! Don’t just come for occasional
lunch. Let us build a house for you so you can sleep and eat breakfast lunch and
dinner."
The Bible says one day the man of God said, "Call this woman, this woman who
had been taking care of us for so long: "Woman what do you need?" The woman
said, "I need nothing." And then the man of God found out that she was barren
and she was old and the man of God said, "Ah good! You have money to buy me
food. You have money to build me house but you can’t buy a child. I have a God
who can provide a child free of charge." And the man of God said, "Woman nine
months from now you will have a baby boy." Everyone of you barren here tonight,
in the Mighty name of Jesus, this night will mark your turning point!
(Amen!)
I have a friend. He’s been very kind to me. He’s been taking good care of me
from 1977 and then all of a sudden the devil tried to kill him and a personal
prophecy came to him. I remember telling him, way back in 1977, you will not die
until I am ready to release you. That’s 25 years ago! I’m telling you in 1977 he
actually died but God raised him again because a word of prophecy had gone out.
25 years later, he is even looking younger now than he was in ‘77. I have a word
of prophecy for all of you who are my friends, all of you who want it to be well
with me, all of you who want me to reach my goal: From tonight death will see
you and run! (Amen!)
Number three – To provoke a personal prophecy - any time you bring God an
offering, please make it an offering that is worthy of Him and worthy of you. In
other words God knows how rich you are. If He knows that all you have is ten
naira and you give Him ten naira that’s a worthy offering but if God knows that
you are a millionaire and then you bring Him just one thousand naira, He is
going to look at you and say, "wait a minute is this offering even worthy of
you?" Take an example from Naaman in 2 Kings 5:1-14: It tells you the story of
Naaman when he was coming to be healed. In verse 5 the Bible tells us the kind
of offering that he brought. It was an offering worthy of God and it was an
offering worthy of Naaman himself because he was a General.
Thank You Father. O Thank You Father! The Lord said there’s someone here
tonight, very soon there will be a sound of singing in your family home. (Amen!)
And He said this is because you will be getting married soon! (Amen!) Thank You
Father.
Now, Naaman brought a worthy offering to God and that’s why the word of
prophecy came to him: Wash and you will be clean. You will notice that in the
case of Naaman there was no prayer, nobody laid hands on him, he didn’t go to
see Elisha privately in his office, Elisha didn’t even come out to him. But
there was power in the word of prophecy that came out to him. Always remember
when you give God a gift that God is not a beggar. There is a way you can give
some thing to the Almighty God that will cause God to say a word to you. And God
is speaking to someone here today, He said because of something you are about to
do, you will never borrow again. (Amen!)
So God asked Ezekiel to prophesy. And then of course Ezekiel obeyed and
prophesied. And then after Ezekiel prophesied what happened? Things began to
happen! Ezekiel 37. Look at verse 7 there. Ezekiel 37:7. It says, "So I
prophesied as I was commanded and as I prophesied there was a noise……" there was
what? (A noise,) I didn’t hear you! Is there anybody here today expecting a
shout of joy? If you are doing so let me just hear you shout ‘Alleluia!’
(Alleluia!) Thank you very much. Just get ready because there is about to be
some shouting here tonight… there was a noise…..
Now usually there are various ways noise could be caused and one of the ways
is by shouting. And when you hear a shout it could mean several things like in
Joshua 6:20. When the children of Israel shouted the wall of Jericho was still
standing but by the time they finished shouting the wall of Jericho was down. So
what does the shout there stand for? It’s telling the Almighty God that we
believe You even before we see You in action. We believe Your prophet who said
that if we will just shout then the wall will fall. We have not seen it happen
like that before, we don’t know how it could happen but because we believe You,
we will shout. Is anybody here tonight who believes that the wall of Jericho in
his or her life is going to fall? If you are here then let me hear you shout.
(Alleluia!) Thank you. Glory be to God. Alleluia! Amen! So they are saying, so
when people shout, when you hear us shout it means ‘Lord we believe You even
though we haven’t seen the evidence yet!’
Another reason why people shout might be because they are telling the
Almighty God we know You are a great God and therefore when we praise You we
ought to do it greatly. Ps. 48:1 It says great is our God and greatly to be
praised. Is anybody here tonight who believes that God is greater than all his
problems? Is there anyone here today who believes that our God is greater than
all your enemies put together? Is anyone here today who believes that our God
can make the impossible possible? Is there anyone who believe that this God is
so great that He can reverse the irreversible? There is only one way to show Him
let me hear you shout ‘Alleluia’! (Alleluia!) Thank You Jesus! Glory be to God!
Thank You! Alleluia! Thank You!
You know, the Lord said there is someone here, from the day you were born,
there was a hole in the center of your head that should have filled up within
days but it refuse to fill up. He asked you to touch the place now, you will
find that it is already filled up.
He also said there is someone here, He said you came here, your neck is as
stiff as iron rod, He said you can’t turn right or left, when you want to turn
you have to turn your entire body. You can check now your neck is completely
whole.
When you shout, you could be telling God I believe You even though I have not
yet seen Your miracle. I believe You are great and therefore You must be greatly
praised! Or you might be telling God You are my champion and I know that You
have already gotten victory for me, and the only way I can celebrate Your
victory is by shouting. We have an example in 1 Samuel 17:51-52 you know the
story of David and Goliath. Goliath said, "I am the champion of the Philistines,
Israel choose your own champion- let the two of us fight. The champion that
wins, his nation wins!" The Bible says when Goliath hit the ground and David
ran, took his sword and cut off his head, the whole of Israel did something -
they stood up and they shouted because their champion has won the victory. How
many of you believe that Jesus has won the victory for you? I’m sure you know
very well that when your team is playing a football match, when Nigeria,
particularly maybe World Cup or something serious, the street will be completely
empty. All of you will be by your television set watching. And when Nigeria
scores a goal chiefs, professors, doctors, governors, even the President, they
forget whatever they are doing. What do they do? How many of you believe that
Jesus has scored a goal tonight? Then let me hear you shout ‘Alleluia!’
(Alleluia!)
I have a word of prophecy for somebody for the one who shouted the loudest
Alleluia….! (Alleluia!) Thank You Jesus! Your victory shall be permanent in
Jesus name! (Amen!) So noise could be generated by shouting. I have to hurry
because I can feel the power of God moving mightily here already. And noise
could come in another way. It could come through the beating of drums, It could
come through the blowing of trumpets. But not all of us can beat drums or blow
trumpets but noise could be caused by clapping. Thank you! But let me explain.
When you clap. That’s alright, don’t worry you will be clapping soon. Glory be
to God! When you clap, you are telling the Almighty God, "I will cooperate with
You." That’s what you mean. It means Lord, I will cooperate with You. Glory be
to God!
I don’t know if I have told you the story before. The original story of
clapping. ….
Thank You Father! Blessed be the Name of the Lord! Just as we started
clapping the Lord said there is a woman here the pregnancy in your womb had been
tied by the enemy but that baby had been loosed (Amen!) and you can feel the
baby kicking seriously now. Glory be to God!
I don’t know if I have told you the story of clapping before. I will tell you
again, if I have told you before. I told you that for a long time (God bless the
engineers which one is the cracking: you mean the loud speaker itself is
clapping!) Glory be to God! They want to do something about it. God bless the
engineers! (Amen!) Is not an easy job getting this place wired for this kind of
crowd.
Once upon a time the fingers watched the birds singing, praising God, so they
too wanted to praise God. So they began to wave as hard as they could but no
sound came. So after some time, almost by accident two fingers discovered that
by cooperating, they could make a noise, "Oh", So they said, "Oh! so we can even
create some music if two fingers cooperate." So the left hand said to the right
hand, "What will happen if the two of us should cooperate? Glory be to God! You
are ahead of me now! But let’s do it the way they did it at that time. So you
lift up your left hand and with one finger - let one finger cooperate with one
palm: and tap the palm with one finger and increase it to two fingers and
increase it to three fingers! And increase it to four fingers! And increase it
to all five! Glory be to God! So when two hands come together in a clap it is a
sign to God that we will cooperate with You. Go ahead, show Him that you will
cooperate with Him! Glory be to God! Alleluia!
Now, of course you know that when you clap like that it produces a noise but
that noise can become a joyful noise. If you start by clapping two at a time,
and then you increase it to three at a time, and change it to four, you already
create a joyful noise unto the Lord and a miracle will follow tonight in Jesus
name! (Amen!) So when you clap, you tell God, "I will cooperate with You." You
tell God, "I will make a joyful noise unto You." You tell the Almighty God that
as my champion, as You keep on winning victory for me, I will cheer You on. If
somebody is doing well and you want to cheer him on what do you do? You clap!
You clap! You clap! Glory be to God forever more! Let somebody shout ‘Alleluia!’
(Alleluia!)
That’s why Ps. 47:1 says something; Ps. 47:1 Says something and I want us to
take it very seriously because something is going to come out of it tonight. It
says: "Oh clap your hands all ye people, shout unto God with the voice of
triumph!" Glory be to God!

The destiny of someone is hanging in the balance right now! The Almighty has
been asking you to surrender your life to Him and you have been arguing. This is
the hour now! Hour of salvation! Anyone here who has not yet surrendered his or
her life to Jesus, you have a very short time to get to the front tonight. The
Almighty God is saying, this is the acceptable time. It is the hour of
salvation. So if you are in the crowd and you are not yet born again, before I
count ten make sure you are in front here or it may be too late. This is the
hour of salvation! God is calling you now! Come and surrender your life to Him!

No joking about it! Tonight the Almighty God is giving you a rare opportunity
to surrender your life to Him. Oh thank You Father! He is calling you now to
come and surrender your life to Him! This is the accepted time …. Four…. Five …
six …. I know some of you are coming from a long distance but you have to run.
Today is the day of salvation! The Almighty God is calling you now! Today is not
a day of jokes. It is the day when the Almighty God has come down heavily in our
midst. And He wants to save your soul! You must come now! Six…., seven……
Those of you who have already come please begin to pray! Begin to talk to the
Almighty God! And say, "Father I have come to surrender my life to You! Save my

Come from all over the place! Seven…… hurry up! I know some of you are coming
from a long distance, but hurry up now! Eight now! This is the hour of
salvation. It is God who is calling you to come and surrender your life to Him!
And as you come begin to call on Him and say, "Lord have mercy on me! Save my
soul! Save my soul! Be merciful unto me oh Lord! Be merciful unto me oh Lord! Oh
be merciful unto me save my soul! Save my soul! Forgive all my sins! Become my
Lord, become my Saviour!" And those of you who are still coming you better hurry
up because this is the closing hour!
Let’s do two things while we are waiting for our new brothers and sisters.
Number one, those of us who have testimonies from the past Holy Ghost Services,
you want to share the testimonies with us, you please come to the back of the
altar now where some pastors will listen to your testimonies and they may bring
about three or so of them forward later on in the service. So if you have
testimonies from the past Holy Ghost Services of what God has done for you come
quickly to the back of the altar now and you will be attended to there.
Number two in order that the counselors might be able to attend to our new
converts I want you to take just five minutes and quietly thank God for
everything He has done for you. Count your blessings one by one and when you've
done that I want you to gather together things you want God to do for you
tonight because we'll be praying very soon. I am telling you; this is a night
you will never forget for the rest of your life, (Amen!) So for about five
minutes, first of all thank the Almighty God for all He has done and point by
point get ready things you are going to ask Him to do for you tonight. I can
assure you He's here! No doubt about it at all! So as quietly as possible, in
five minutes or thereabouts, thank the Almighty God for all he has already done
for you. And then get ready those things that you want Him to do for you…… Thank
You Father! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! In Jesus Mighty name we
have prayed! (Amen!) So shall it be in Jesus name! (Amen!)
Now it is time to pray. Let’s stand on our feet. As many of us who have
anything to say thank You to God for - anyone that God has done anything
whatsoever for since he or she was born, particularly those of us God has
already spoken to tonight. Let’s praise Him by shouting one big 'Alleluia!'.

Now the prayers tonight are special because in December there won’t be Holy
Ghost Service. It's only the Congress that we'll have.. So this might be the
last prayer you are praying at Holy Ghost Service before the New Year. So I want
you to pray this prayer with all your strength and I am telling you as a man of
God, God is here tonight. I mean God is here tonight! (Amen!)
So I want you to lift your voice to the Almighty God and say, "Father." Loud
and clear: "Father! Please shake everything that must be shaken to set me
completely free tonight! Everything that must be shaken, shake it oh Lord!" Go
ahead talk to the Almighty God! Tonight everything that must be shaken, every
evil foundation that must be shaken, loose so that I might be set free tonight
completely! Shake everything that must be shaken tonight that I might be
completely free! … In Jesus Mighty name we have prayed! (Amen!)
I want you to call on Him and say, "Father from tonight, let there be shouts
of joy in my family house." Go ahead talk to the Almighty God! … In Jesus Mighty
name we have prayed! (Amen!)
The next prayer is for a few people, only those who believe on some of the
prophecies we have been hearing, so those people will say, "Father, I’m on my
way to the top now - let nothing stop me! Go ahead talk to the Almighty God! ,….
In Jesus Mighty name we have prayed! (Amen!)
And then you continue and say, "Father make a way for me." Go ahead talk to
the Almighty God." Oh Lord make a way for me. Make a way for me oh Lord!" …… In
Jesus Mighty name we have prayed! (Amen!)
And then you call on the Almighty God and say, "Father, tonight, speak life
to my dry bones! Let my dry bones live! "Go ahead talk to the Almighty God! In
Jesus Mighty name we have prayed! (Amen!)
The next prayer point is similar to the last one and you will say, "Father,
Reverse the Irreversible in my life! Go ahead talk to the Almighty God! …. Glory
be to Your holy name! In Jesus Mighty name we have prayed! (Amen!)
And here comes a very crucial prayer point. Say, "Father let every problem in
my life become a giant testimony." Go ahead talk to the Almighty God! …. In
Jesus Mighty name we have prayed! (Amen!)
Now, tell Him what are those problems - all the problems in your lives, that
you want to become giant testimonies, begin to tell Him one by one: I want this
one to become a testimony! I want this one to become a testimony! I want this
one to become a testimony! Go ahead talk to the Almighty God! Tell Him your
private problems. Alleluia! Thank You! Oh Alleluia! In Jesus Mighty name we have
prayed! (Amen!)
Now the Bible says we are to love our neighbours like ourselves so I want you
to please stand, if you are not standing, and join hands with your neighbours.
It's time to pray for your neighbour. Just say, "Father make a way for him." Go
ahead, talk to the Almighty God! "Make a way for my brother, Make a way for my
sister!" Pray! "Lord make a way for this brother!"……
Now before I pray for you, because of the law of harvest that whatsoever you
sow that you shall reap and that the harvest is always greater than the seed
sown, I want you to pray for me. Wish me whatever you wish yourself…..
I want you to go on your knees now. Oh Thank You Father! I want your ‘Amen!
to be loud and clear. In the Mighty name of Jesus! (Amen!) In the wonderful name
of Jesus! (Amen!) … Father, I thank You for this wonderful night. I thank You
for Your children who are able to come! Accept our thanks in Jesus name! (Amen!)
Father, tonight I stand as Your representative to these people and in Your name
I am prophesying to them - every one of you here tonight who had given your life
to Jesus - you shall reach the top! (Amen!) Every obstacle shall crumble!

…… Hand bills and banners and anything …… else print as many as possible and
distribute. If you don’t have all those or in addition to all those, make sure
you get aprons. I am going to wear my own now……. to the market, to everywhere
they will read information on you. The dress, the material doesn’t have to be
costly, even if you don’t have the money for cloth, you can use cardboard. I
want you to know that the purpose of advertisement is to attract attention. And
the more awkward you look the more attention they will pay. In the past when I
wear my own, my driver will wear his own and when we get to a busy place we will
park the car I will come out of the car and hold a newspaper and pretend to be
reading. As I am reading the newspaper, people will be reading me and then I
will send my driver to go and buy boli and he knows it is for a purpose so when
he gets to the boli seller wearing his own he will point to one banana that is
not yet roasted at all and say, "This is the one I want " so that he can stay
there for a long time so that all those who want to buy plantain or those who
are passing by, they will read the information. Although on more than one
occasion we had to run away because as soon as they discover who is reading the
newspaper they started gathering for prayers!
There’s another example you could use, it’s called the hand band. You have
the piece of cloth with the information about the Congress and the dates and
every thing on it. Is very useful when you are in a go-slow. You wind down the
window of your car and then you hold your hand like this and everybody will want
to see what is on your hand. Or if you are in a bus you put your head on the
seat and hold this. They will read what is there.
But there is another way I know some of you know about the face cap that’s
very good. If you have the money for that do it. If you don’t have the money for
face cap do my own type just cut a piece of cloth or cardboard write the
information about the Congress on it and tie the rope at the bottom not at the
top ….. it’s that it doesn’t cover my head so I can pray while I am still
wearing it.
But you can even go a step further than this one. When we were in the primary
school there was a story about Satan wearing a cap with one side red and the
other side white. We want to beat Satan at his game so you can get your own cap
one side can be written in red the other side can be written in blue. Whenever
people see something strange they will want to watch and everywhere you find an
opportunity put a stick and write,…..
The Angels are singing Hosanna in the highest! You know that one right? So
you will just change it slightly! Hosanna to the Highest! My showers are
falling. Hosanna to the Highest! Hosanna to the Highest! Hosanna to the Highest!
My showers are falling. Hosanna to the Highest! Let me hear you sing it. Now I
want you to know that that song is a prophecy. (Amen!) As you sing it, so shall

it’s also very simple. So from today now, your own showers of blessing can begin

There will be no Holy Ghost Service on the first Friday of December so that
we can use all that time to tell everybody that something extraordinary is about
to happen in Nigeria at Redemption Camp. People are coming from all over the
world. People are coming! I’ve just returned from America and I met some people
who wanted to come. We had a serious problem getting them a seat from Europe to
Nigeria during that period because all planes are fully booked. And they are
asking what’s happening in Nigeria? We are going to the Congress! And they are
coming to the Congress and the Almighty God is waiting here for them! (Amen!)
There are some wonderful musicians that are coming to team up with our
brothers and sisters here. I met two old men who have been singing with Billy
Graham for years. I heard them sing I said, "Would you please like to come to
Nigeria? They said, "All you need to do is just tell us when!" They are coming
to sing at the Congress and other great things are going to happen. Remember it
is going to be televised throughout the whole world, Alleluia! So get ready,
it’s going to be very beautiful indeed. The showers of blessing will begin in
your life today! (Amen!)

detail. A certain song just kept on leaping up in my spirit and the song just
refused to let me go and just looking back now the first Sunday that that song
came back to my spirit and we sang it at the Headquarters the week that
followed. In one week I counted seven major miracles in my life! I want us to
sing that song tonight so that what God has started in my life will also extend
to you. (Amen!) It is a very simple song. You all know it "Melody in my heart
there is a melody in my heart today…" Your own side is too loud…..
Let me be sure that the people can reply. Let’s hear from the brothers –

Good! It’s a beautiful song. It’s a song you will sing and dance to. It goes on
to say, "Melody to Jesus, Melody to my King! Melody to my Lord! He is my

Protector!" So we are going to stand up and sing that song and as we sing the
song the yokes in your life will be destroyed! (Amen!) Healing will flow like a
river! (Amen!) The power of God will come strongly upon you! (Amen!) And your

can remind me of the others that came. There was somebody whose neck could not
turn. You have to turn your body before you could turn your neck but your neck
is okay now… one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ah! Let’s
give the Lord another round of applause! Can somebody remind me of any other,
any other one? Now Pastors have you found some other one’s please? There are so
many testimonies here we need to hear one or two others. Where are the Pastors?

Oh the one that had an accident and the mouth couldn’t open wide where is the
fellow? That’s one. Open your mouth now, let me see! Ah! Glory be to God!

open! Oh the one with the hole on the head. That one is covered now. Glory be to
God! Is any other fellow that the mouth couldn’t open wide? We saw one: Alright

all the ones that God called. Can any one remember anyone? Yes there was a case
of a woman whose pregnancy was tied. The pregnancy was loosed and the baby is
kicking very well. That’s the woman there! Oh Glory be to God! Let’s see her!

Now because of time I am going to pray a special prayer for those of you who
have come forward to show the goodness of God, so that others who are trying to
hide what God is done will learn a lesson. "Father for all these Your children
that You healed tonight and they came forward to show it I hereby decree that
they will never know sickness again! (Amen!) Every one of them, I hereby decree
that accident will be far away from them! (Amen!) I decree that from today,
shouts of joy will never leave their home! (Amen!) I decree that their miracles
will be permanent in Jesus name! (Amen!) Thank You Father! In Jesus Mighty Name

‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!) If I hear that my mother came to the camp ground without
my even knowing about it that the problem that the doctors have called cancer
and fibroid disappeared - no matter how tired I may be I will still shout
Alleluia! (Alleluia!) If I hear that my brother who has lost two brothers to
cancer and he was already suffering from the cancer of the bone marrow himself
and he came and God picked him out of the crowd and spoke a word and healed him,
I will jump up and shout ‘Alleluia!’ (Alleluia!) Because all these things prove
one thing - that God is in our midst! Many of us may not know it but God is here
and it means every prophecy that has gone forth to me will come to pass! (Amen!)
What about your own? Well let me hear you shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
Let’s stand now on our feet "Father we bless Your holy name for a very
wonderful night. Thank You for the souls saved! (Amen!) Thank You for the people
who are healed! (Amen!) Thank You for the people who are delivered! (Amen!)
Thank You for the testimonies! (Amen!) Thank You because we are on our way up
now and nobody will stop us! (Amen!) Thank You because You will make a way for
us! (Amen!) Thank You because our joy will never end! Accept our thanks in Jesus
name! (Amen!)
"Father bless the thanksgiving offering of Your children. Sanctify it! Use it
for Your glory! And I pray O Lord that every one of Your children here tonight
will never borrow again! (Amen!)
And as you go home God will go with you. (Amen!) His presence will go with
you! Miracles will continue in your life and by the time we meet in December for
the Congress you will already be drenched in showers of blessing! (Amen!) So
shall it be! In Jesus mighty name we have prayed! (Amen!)
