This is July – the 7th month of the year and 7 stands for perfection. This
month your joy will be made perfect (Amen!) Your peace will be made perfect
(Amen!) Your blessings will be made perfect (Amen!) Your prayers will be
perfectly answered. (Amen!) If you believe that, let me hear you shout
'Alleluia!' (Alleluia!)
One day there was a problem in the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ : there
were 5000 men who were very hungry. The only food available was the lunch of a
small boy and yet by the time the story was over, there were 12 baskets full of
bread and fish that were left over. Between, definitely not enough to absolutely
more than sufficient lies one sentence – Jesus took the bread and the fish in
His hands, lifted up His eyes to heaven and said one word, Father I thank You.
There is someone here today – between now and tomorrow your austerity is going
to be changed to prosperity provided if for the next few minutes you are going
to - like nobody else - lift your eyes to the Almighty God and just thank Him,
thank Him:

Kings! I thank You! Lord of Lords! I thank You! Jehovah, El Shaddai the God
that is more than enough, I thank You!. Jehovah Jireh, the Great provider, I

You!. The Lord who can bring water out of the rock, I thank You! God who can

Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son,
whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for
the palace is not for man, but for the Lord God. Now I have prepared with all
my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the
silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for
things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set,
glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and
marble stones in abundance. Moreover, because I have set my affection to the
house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I
have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for
the holy house, Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and
seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses
withal:
Is there a miracle happening behind my back? I can hear shouts coming from
behind the altar. Is there a miracle happening behind our back or do they need
the attention of the engineers?
David was commanded to be great and he became great. He obeys he commandment
of God. God said, Be great! God said Be great! And he said, Amen! Last month God
said to somebody here, Be great! (Amen!) And somebody answered (Amen!) Today
God is saying again to somebody, Be great! And what is the answer to that
one?
And here we discovered that one thing that followed the greatness of David is
wealth that is difficult for us to imagine. He spoke to God. He said, God I want
to build a house for You. God said, No, You are a man of war. You have killed
people so I can't allow you to build my house. But your son will build my house.
David said, Fine, If I can't build it I can provide for the building. And he
gathered money, gold, silver to such an extent that it is frightening! And when
he had gathered all that was necessary to build the temple of God he said, I
want to set aside a certain amount for the maintenance. Bible scholars
calculated the amount of money he set aside for the maintenance of the building
and it was over 4 billion dollars.
Somebody who can say I deposit 4 billion dollars for the maintenance of the
House of God cannot be a poor man. Do you agree with that. Therefore it follows
automatically that any greatness that comes from God will be accompanied by
tremendous prosperity. That's why I have confidence that there is somebody here
tonight who will soon be lending to nations. (Amen!) I'm not sure you heard what
I said. I said there is somebody here tonight who will soon be lending to
nations! (Amen!)
I don't preach on prosperity often because some preachers have preached on it
as if it is the only counsel of God. But prosperity is only one of the whole
counsel of God and I believe that the Almighty God wants me to preach the whole
counsel of God. That's why once a year I talk about prosperity. That's why
tonight our topic is – anointed to flourish. There are five categories of
people: the poor, the comfortable, the rich, the wealthy and the flourishing.
Which one do you want to be? You want to be one of the poor? Now I'm going to
take the 5 one by one tonight. This may be one of the greatest messages you ever
heard in your lie so I'm not going to be in a hurry. I will want to take it in
detail. If you fully understand what I'm going to tell you tonight I'm sure by
this time next year you will be smiling.
There is no greatness in poverty. Proverbs 22:7 says that the poor will
always be a servant. It said the borrower will be the servant of the lender. In
other words the poor will always be the tail not the head. And I am praying for
you that even your children after you will be head and not tail. (Amen!) I say
head, head! You will never again be tail in your life. Poverty is a curse
pronounced by God on those who are disobedient. When you get home read
Deuteronomy 28. Read it from verse 15 to 28. You will discover poverty is one of
the major curses that God pronounced on the disobedient and I rebuke every curse
of poverty in your life tonight in Jesus' Name! (Amen!)
Let's take the 5 categories one by one. The poor. Who are the poor? The poor
are those who never have enough. We have examples in the Bible. In 1 Kings
17:8-12 the Bible talked about a widow, the widow of Zarapheth. She was reduced
to one meal. One meal for herself and her son. And one meal for the rest of her
life – nothing else, anywhere. That is poverty. 2 Kings 4:1 talks about a widow
also heavily in debt to such an extent that the creditors wanted to sell her son
to pay the debt.
I don't know how God will do it but all of you who are owing in the mighty
name of Jesus! within the next 3 months all your debts will be wiped off. Don't
tell me that it is a comfortable thing to be a debtor. Poverty is a curse. But
there are poverty of kinds. There is poverty financial and then there is poverty
in the form of sickness. Anybody who is sickly, all is not well with him so that
when you are sick, it doesn't matter how much money you have, you are poor. The
woman with the issue of blood was rich once but when the sickness came it
claimed everything she had. All of you who are sick physically God will touch
you today in Jesus' Name! (Amen!)
In John 5:1-7 he told the Lord Jesus, I have nobody. I have no helper.
Sickness had reduced him to a helpless man. In Proverbs 14:20 the Bible says the
poor is hated even among his brothers. People hate the poor just because they
are poor. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ poverty will leave you alone!
(Amen!).
Health and wealth they go together. In fact they say health is wealth. 3
John:2 the Bible says I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health.
God wants you to be healthy as well as prosperous. Barrenness is another kind of
poverty that is why I am praying for all those who are trusting God for the
fruit of the womb. This month God will answer you.
Let's look at some of the forms of poverty because some people glorify
poverty. They think you have to be poor to make it to heaven. I used to believe
that and I have discovered, you can be the poorest man on earth, if you are not
born again and you don't live holy you are not going to see God you will just
suffer for nothing here. I've also discovered you can be the richest man on
earth, if you are born again and you are living holy there is a room, a mansion
reserved for you in heaven. I say I don't know about you - In this world I will
enjoy. And then I will go and enjoy in heaven. Does that surprise you? So shall
it be in Jesus' Name! (Amen!)
Now let's look at some of the sorrows of poverty. Apart from the fact that
the poor always serve the rich. God didn't create you to be a servant of your
fellow men. He wants you to be head not tail. Proverbs 10:7 It said all the
brothers of the poor hate him and they run away from him. When he's calling them
they'll be running. Why? because they don’t want him to borrow more money from
them. There is somebody here who will never borrow again. (Amen!)
But that is not all. In Proverbs 10:15 the Bible says the destruction of the
poor is their poverty. Proverbs 10:15 Poverty is a destroyer and everything that
is trying to destroy your destiny, I command that they be destroyed tonight in
Jesus' Name! (Amen!) It is true that God said in Deuteronomy 15:11 God said the
poor shall not cease from the land but He didn't say you will be one of them. In
fact in the same Deuteronomy 15:4 the Lord said the time will come when there
will be no poor man left among His own people. I decree tonight that before the
end of this year, there will be no poor man left among you. (Amen!)
There is nothing glorious about poverty. It brings hunger. It causes one to
eat the food of his enemy. It causes you to receive insults from those who
should not be insulting you. It causes people who are the age mate of your
children to look at you as if you don't matter. If you are poor up to tonight
God will give you a breakthrough. (Amen!)
Thank You Father! God said there is someone here tonight, it’s a long time
you climbed stairs last because of pain in your legs. The Lord asked me to tell
you He has healed you now. (Amen!)
There is somebody here, you are suffering from acute weakness, even as your
body had been wasting away, you are getting thinner and weaker. The Lord asked
me to tell you, He has healed you and before you leave here tonight you will
already be regaining your weight. (Amen!)
But God has a cure for poverty. 1 Samuel 2:8 the Bible says, God can lift up
a beggar from the dunghill and raise him up so he begins to sit among princes.
God can pick somebody who is hopeless, who is sitting on the dunghill and lift
him up till he begins to eat with princes! And I decree to somebody here today,
you may find it difficult to pay our house rent but very soon you'll be drinking
tea with the president. (Amen!) How can that be? I know it can be because I'm a
living example. For the first 18 years of my life I had no pair of shoes but
then God took me up and I remember one day we went to visit the President of
Kenya and he was to have a cabinet meeting at 9 a.m. We arrived there at quarter
to nine, at 10 am we were still drinking tea and somebody said, Who is this man
that is keeping the President busy? Somebody said he's a pastor. the answer –
Not even a bishop? You too, very soon you'll be drinking tea with the President.
(Amen!) How He does it that is His own business not mine! He can lift up a
beggar from the dunghill and set him among princes. I prophesy to somebody here
in the mighty name of Jesus! you will reach the top. (Amen!)
And then there is Category 2 – the comfortable. Who are the comfortable? They
are the ones who have just enough. 2 meals a day like Elijah at Cherith 1 Kings
17:2-6 twice a day the birds were bringing Elijah bread and meat. And he was
drinking water from the brook. He had enough. He was comfortable. There are
people like that. Salaries paid, regularly each month. Even if they do some
'book-me-down' at the end of the month they clear it. So they are comfortable.
They are not hungry. They may not have many clothes but they have something to
wear.
What about the dangers of being comfortable? The slightest tragedy reduces
them to the poverty level. If they should suddenly decide to reduce the staff
where they are working suddenly they discover that there is no money to pay for
the book-me-down. The one who has only one car. If that car should knock it's
engine suddenly he becomes one of those queuing up at the bus stop. The one who
has just one daughter like Jairus, or one son like the widow of Nain, if
anything should happen to his one child, he becomes the same like somebody who
has none. I remember the time I was young, as a young child just growing up,
whenever I follow my fellows to the river to go and fish or swim, my mother will
be crying over my head and said the one with only one flame does not play by the
river. And I didn't understand what is the problem until one day I asked, What
is this one flame you are talking about? You are my only son, don't go and
drown, you are my only son. All of you who have one son, one daughter that one
will become great in Jesus' Name! (Amen!)
The day the brook dried up on Elijah the comfortable stay ended. Those of you
with only one car, those of you who are managing one meal in the morning, one
meal in the afternoon, today the Almighty God will give you a breakthrough.
(Amen!) God has a cure for those who are just comfortable…..
Thank You Father! The Lord said there is someone here tonight, all the
attempts by your superior to slow you down will be frustrated. (Amen!)
But the story I mentioned when we were praying – the lunch of that boy was
just enough for that boy. In John 6:5-13. But when that little lunch got into
the hands of the Bread of Life it changed from not enough to more than
sufficient. Very soon you will know the meaning of more than sufficient. (Amen!)
I've told you the story before when I wanted to move to my house near the
camp in 1985 and I needed some money to just put in windows and doors. I cried
to God. Got to church the following Sunday and one young girl came, very young
girl, with an envelope in her hand and said, God said, I should go and give it
to you. And I looked at her. When did you begin to hear from God? And then she
said, I've been believing God that one day I will travel. I've been saving all
the money they gave me. Now God said I should go and give it to you. I checked
with God . I know it was God. I took the money and I prayed for her. The money
was just what I needed to solve my problem. You see what you need to know
brethren – a single 'God bless you.' from a man of God can change your life
especially when it comes form the bottom of his heart. That's why I pity those
who miss HG night. They don't know what they are missing. May I say from the
bottom of my heart. God bless you! (Amen!)
A man came to visit her father and said, Please I'm going abroad with my
children on holidays and my daughter says that his own daughter is her friend.
Will you please allow your daughter to go with my daughter to America? We will
pay for her ticket. Whatever we do for our own daughter we will do for your
daughter. All that the girl gave was not even half of the money for the ticket
but God knows how to multiply. He knows how to multiply five loaves and 2
fishes. Once it gets into His hands He can multiply. Today, the multiplying
power of God will work on your behalf. (Amen!)
Thank You Father! The Lord says there is someone who has been bleeding from
the ear. You can check. The bleeding has stopped and the wound has been
healed.
Category 3 are the rich. Who are the rich? These are those who have enough
and to spare. These are the people who have savings accounts. They eat all the
food they want to eat. They can wear whatever clothes they want to eat. They
have some extra save. They have a lot of joy. Proverbs 22:7 It said the rich
rules over the poor. Proverbs 14:20 it said the rich has many friends. Proverbs
19:8 the Bible said many people are the friends of somebody who give gifts.
Because rich people have the means to give gifts therefore they have many
friends. They buy friends with gifts. The Bible says that heir money can be
likened to a strong city because according to Ecclesiastes 7:12 It said, Money
is a defence so even of there are robbers around you build a big wall round
your house. Money speaks. In fact somebody said when money speaks nobody checks
the grammar. Glory be to God! In other words even of you are not highly
educated if money is there you can come and blow guns – it's all right!
But the rich have challenges. Proverbs 23:5 tells us that riches can develop
wings and fly away. Ecclesiastes 8:8 said that you can't even buy off death.
Proverbs 11:28 says those who trust in their riches will fall. But there is one
problem with those who are rich – they tend to be proud. He has 2 or 3 cars, 2
or 3 houses, 2 or 3 house helps so when he's walking around he thinks he's
already on top of the world. The Bible says such people will find it difficult
to enter into the Kingdom of God.
But what I discovered is that this only happens to those who are just rich.
The moment they become wealthy. The moment they move from the level of rich to
the level of wealthy, they begin to sober down. So the cure for being just rich
is to become richer. But I know many of us will want to settle among the rich.
We don't want to be poor. To be ordinary comfortable is dangerous but to be rich
attractive as it may appear is not the best place to stay because that is not
the very best and the Almighty God wants the best for you. That is why whenever
somebody does something for me I always tell them, Next time it will be more!
Because I know you have not reached the height that God has for you yet.
Category 4 are the wealthy. These people have enough and a lot to spare. Like
Job. In Job 1:1-3 Job was the greatest man at that time. He was wealthy! I mean
he was wealthy. But even the wealthy have challenges. Number 1 one could be
wealthy and still be sick like Naaman for example in 2 Kings 5:1. Or because one
is wealthy, one can become a subject of envy. Or if a massive tragedy strikes,
like it happened to Job – everything that he had was wiped out in one day. If
things go wrong for the wealthy it becomes very, very glaring. But God has a
cure.
The plan of God for you is not even to be just wealthy! The plan is for you
to flourish! God wants you to be in that place where it doesn't matter what may
come you will never be poor again! (Amen!) There are some people who have
crossed the border of poverty forever. They are the people called the
flourishing. They are those who have much more than enough and much more to
spare. I have quickly gone over the rich and the wealthy because I don't want
you to stay there I want us to go and focus on the flourishing because that's
where you are going. In 1 Kings 10:27 the Bible says in the days of Solomon
silver was treated as ordinary stones. That is what is called flourishing. Now
I'll give you an illustration that will help you. can you imagine yourself being
a businessman or woman, buying and selling and you tell all your managers: The
only money that must pass into my account must be the 500 naira denominations.
Any denomination less than that I don't want to see. Anything less than N500
don't bring it near me at all! That is what is called flourishing. We are
talking about someone who is so flourishing that according to the word of God,
will never be bothered whether there is famine, whether there is economic
collapse – he will never again be bothered! He has so much now that it doesn't
matter what happens he will never again be bothered! That is going to be your
testimony.
I've told you the story before of a friend of mine who was driving in Lagos
and the car broke down, I think the tyre went flat, and while the driver was
fixing the tyre he decided to walk to stroll and then he saw the building of a
bank. He said, I remember this bank! Yes… I remember this bank! I kept some
money here. 10 years ago I kept some money here! So he went in and said, I want
to see the manager And they said the manager is not around. The accountant
said, Can I help you? He said, Yes. I put 10 million pounds here, 10 years ago.
I want to know what is the interest now. He forgot 10 Except that I won't let
you forget it there! (Amen!) That is what is called flourishing.
Psalm 1:1-3 says you will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water.
David said in Psalm 23:5 Thou anointest my head with oil my cup runneth over.
Beginning from today your cup will begin to run over in Jesus' Name! (Amen!) To
flourish means God blesses you so much you will tell God, God this is too much!
God says I have just started. Can anybody receive that one now? That will be
your testimony in Jesus' Name! (Amen!)
I was talking to somebody some years ago. He said, sir, there's nothing I can
do to stop money from coming in. Its too late for me now. All I need to do is
sit down and the money just must keep coming in. There's nothing I can do to
stop it. And when I tried to find out. I found that his man has more than a
hundred houses in Lagos so the rent must just keep coming in – from the East,
from the West, from the South, your blessing will just keep coming in. You
better say 'Amen' to that. Thank You!
Here we are talking about prosperity and the Lord is solving the problem of
one fellow. He said that somebody's getting a brand new brain. (Amen!) Thank You
Father!
The Lord said I should tell someone here, that examiner that you fear will be
lenient with you this time… You know God is wonderful. While we are talking
about flourishing somebody is thinking about passing an exam. The examiner will
be lenient this time round. On behalf of all the students let's shout Alleluia!
(Alleluia!) Thank You! Isn't that my God. He knows what your needs are. Every
need shall be met here tonight in Jesus' Name! (Amen!)
The poor can be likened to a desert where there is very little rain. And you
know one thing? The reason why the poor remain poor is because the only thing
they can do to come out of poverty they won't do it. That's why the Bible says
the destruction of the poor is their poverty! The elders have a saying. They say
poverty will not allow the poor to prosper. They say when he's supposed to give
the sacrifice of a goat, he gave a rat. So the poverty continues to increase.
Brethren there is only one key to open your way through the door of poverty. It
is not fasting, even though fasting is very good. It is not prayer, even though
prayer is very powerful. It is giving. Luke 6:38 : Give and you shall be given.
What does that mean? Don't give and you will not be given. Ecclesiastes 11:3 If
you don't load your cloud it is not going to rain. Start where you are. Begin
from your poverty begin to give and you will be amazed how quickly God will
bring you out of poverty.
I've told you the story of a boy. Every time I saw him at Ebute Metta more
than 10 years ago he will give me 1 naira. And when I say, Thank you my boy, he
will say to me, One day I will buy you a jet. And I always wondered – this boy,
just a naira each time. Then last year or so I was in London and a young man
came to me and gave me a large sum of money. I looked at the money surprised. I
said, Thank you very much God bless you. But he saw the surprise on my face. He
said, Daddy, you don't remember me? He said I'm that little boy giving you one,
one naira. He said I don't have the money for a jet yet but I am going to buy
you one and I said 'Amen boy! Not only will you buy one for me you will buy one
for yourself!'
How many of you will reach the top? Are you sure? Let me hear your 'Amen!';
(Amen!) The comfortable they are like a pool of water that can dry up quickly
and the reason is because often they sow sparingly. So if the rain fails
slightly the pool will dry. The root is of a shallow well! It can dry still and
often because the rich don't pay their tithes correctly. But the wealthy they
are like a deep well in contact with a hidden source of water. It takes a great
disturbance to cause them to dry but the flourishing they are like a river
producing well, a well so deep, so full of water that it is a spring producing
the river. They never, never dry and my prayer for you today is that beginning
from now your source of blessing will never dry. (Amen!)
Thank You Father! The Lord said there is someone here tonight the doctors
don't even know what is wrong with you. The Lord asked me to tell you, it
doesn't even matter, He has already healed you! (Amen!)
So what do I do to flourish? What must I do so that I may be one of those who
will flourish for the rest of my life? First and foremost, make God happy. Do
what? Make God happy. How can I make God happy? Luke 15:10 The Bible says
whenever a sinner repents Jesus gets up from His throne and dances before the
angels. You can become an incurable soul winner that nothing can stop you from
winning souls. God will be pleased with you and each time you win a soul God
will say, Son, daughter, I bless you! Proverbs 10:22 says the blessing of the
Lord it maketh rich and addeth no sorrows. In the mighty name of Jesus, God
bless you! (Amen!)
After you have made God happy then follow the principles of His Kingdom. The
first one that I told you – give. The second thing is sow. There is a difference
between giving and sowing. When I give a gift to friend of mine it is a gift,
I'm giving. When it is time for offering I give. But when it comes to sowing I
am telling God directly that this is a seed that I am planting and if you sow
bountifully according to 2 Corinthians 9:6 you will reap bountifully. I've told
you the story when I gave ties to 7 of the elders to join me in ministry, ties
began to flow in. Everybody who travelled brought me a tie! One day I said, Lord
can't these people find a shirt? God said, You sow ties, you reap ties. So I
said okay. SO I began to sow shoes and even though I had to wait for some time
before the shoes came, shoes began to flow in. And by the grace of God now, I've
sown cars – cars and you better get ready, when you begin to see them – blue
one, white one, yellow one, red one… Whatever you sow that is what you will
reap. Make sure you sow on good grounds. You can get the tape for July last
year it will tell you the various grounds. But you know this already. There must
be some thing s to do that will bring a man to that level , that level of
prosperity where he can never again lack! I shared a little of it with you in
January. The summary of it is – Be an altar man!
Abraham had stocks of servants. The servants in the house of Abraham were
enough to forma small army and I will be talking to you in the 2nd session
about Solomon. People who are so wealthy it is difficult to imagine. These
people are altar men. The altar is the meeting place between God and man. It is
where God and man meet. Where they exchange gifts and when you go to the altar
you want to give God your best and in return God will give you His best. Let me
give you just one example. Genesis 22:1-18… Thank You Father!
The Lord said there is someone here tonight there is a pain like fire burning
inside your chest. The Lord asked me to tell you maybe you didn't notice that
the fire has been put out. That fire will never come up again.
Abraham offered Isaac on the altar. God said to Abraham, By myself have I
sworn… when the Almighty God begins to swear you know something mighty is about
to happen. He said, In blessing I will bless you, in multiplying I will multiply
you! Because you have given me your best I will give you My best! That's why you
discovered that Abraham just began to increase in wealth. Be an altar man.
Constantly meet with God at His altar. Offer Him your best. He will respond. He
will give you His best. Remember Malachi 3:10 when God says you are to bring all
the tithes into your house He said He will pour you out a blessing that there
will not be enough room to receive! That kind of blessing where there is no room
to contain is the portion of those who pay their tithes. what then do you think
will be the portion of those who will say 10% is too small!
I've told you the story of a man – 1979 we went to Kenneth Hagin camp Meeting
in America and one night one man got up and asked for permission to speak. There
were about 17 thousand of us and he said, Brethren whatever you all contribute
tonight is what I will contribute. And we all looked at ourselves. Is he mad?
17,000 of us he said whatever we gave, he would give. While we were still
thinking, he went further to say: I beg you give your best. And we all said, all
right sir, you are in trouble and we contributed 3.5 million dollars because
they had to count it, he said he wanted to know. So they told him and he got up
and said, Brethren is that all you can do. And I said, I must know this man.
This man has a story to tell, I must know his story. And I found out that 5
years before he started his business with 500 dollars and made a covenant with
God and said, God! I will not insult you by paying tithes – I will give you 90%
I will keep 10%! Within 5 years his business has already exceeded 50 million
dollars! I don't know who God is talking to here but one day somebody so going
to stand here and say, Everything you all give that is what I will give. Who is
that fellow? Let me hear your 'Amen!' loud and clear ! (Amen!)
What must I do to flourish? You must be committed to all the programmes of
God. Those who flourish are those who are so committed to the programmes of God
that the Bible says they are planted in the house of God. Psalm 92:12-14, They
that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish as the palm tree. Those
who are so committed to everything that is God that you will regard them as
planted in the house of God. They don't wait for any programmes to be announced.
They seek for opportunities to do something for God. We want to build a house
for God: Ah Amen! I'm in it! We want to open a mission field in Gambia: Ah the
Lord will use me! We want to begin to operate a University for Jesus Christ: The
Lord will use me! Convention is coming: Lord You will use me! God has been
looking for treasurers all this while. I believe He will find one among us today
in Jesus' Name! (Amen!)
Finally, you must pray for anointing to flourish. Deuteronomy 8:18 it said it
is God that gives power to get wealth. When God anoints you to flourish,
everything you touch will change to gold. Do you know you can sell water and
flourish. The richest man in the world today. I mean the richest in the whole
world, started off as a carpenter. And that's what he is still doing till today
– making furniture. He's the richest man in the whole world today. He's richer
than all the Arab sheiks. He has beaten Bill Gates to second position! He
started as a carpenter. so if anybody tells you that because you are very lowly
now that all these prayers, all these pronouncement s are not for you – that
fellow will be surprised. I say that fellow will be surprised. (Amen!) If a
carpenter can become the richest man in the world there is somebody here today
who will beat him very soon! (Amen!) All you need is anointing, anointing to
get wealth, anointing to flourish. I told you the fellow who was selling ground
nut who now has three jets. When God anoints you anywhere you turn doors will
open. Any door you knock at will be opened unto you. (Amen!)
Let me round up this first session by telling you one more point - anointing
is for the holy. Hebrews 1:9 Because you love righteousness and hate iniquity
therefore God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above
your fellows. There is somebody here that God is going to anoint more than
anyone else. That fellow must love righteousness and hate iniquity. Anointing
does not stay on the head of a sinner. If you pour oil on the head of a sinner
it will flow off so if you are here and you have not surrendered your life to
Jesus and you want to partake of the anointing that God is about to pour on His
people tonight the first thing you must do is you must surrender your life to
Jesus, let His blood wash away your sins. It is then and only then that His
anointing can stay on your head.
So if you are here and you are not yet born again and you want to surrender
your life to Jesus or you are a backslider and you want to return to Jesus I
will count up to 10. Come forward quickly, come and give your life to Jesus. His
blood will cleanse you from all your sins and then the anointing of God can
stay. I am counting now 1. You want to give your life to Jesus come now. I know
some of you are coming from a long distance. Make sure you carry your bag with
you when you are coming. Come and give your life to Jesus now. 2. 3, 4.. the
Blood of Jesus cleanses from all sins. It will wash you from all sins. He will
forgive you whatever you have done in the past. He will give you a brand new
beginning. 5… I know some of you are coming from a long distance.. this is your
hour of salvation – the greatest miracle you can ever receive is the salvation
of your soul. Until He has cleansed you from all your sin there is no room for
any further blessing. 6….. Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up! Those of you who are
coming on the way 7.. The gates of mercy are open tonight. God is asking you to
come from every direction. Come and surrender your life to Him. He will save
your soul. He will forgive your sin. He's a loving God but you must surrender to
Him first. You must mean business when you say, Lord I come to surrender. 8
now.. 8… I know some of you are coming from a long distance, at least let me see
that you are already moving forward. Counsellors let them get forward first –
don't block them. Hurry up this is a final call. This is your own day of
salvation – Don't miss it! Don't miss it! 9 now! Those of you who are still
coming, keep coming, keep coming! Keep coming! I know some of you are from a
long distance but keep coming! Keep coming! The Lord loves you so much! He
brought you tonight so that He can save your soul and prepare you for heaven.
Now those of you who are already in front pray to God: Lord, I have come to
surrender my soul! Save my soul! Forgive my sins! Lord cleanse me, cleanse me
from all my sins and I will serve You. I will serve You as my Lord. I will
serve You as my Saviour. Come into my life. Take over! Take over Lord! Those of
you who are still coming, keep coming. Hurry up! Just make sure you get here
before we finish praying! And the rest of us let's stretch our hands towards
these people and pray them, pray for their salvation. Pray that the one who
saved your soul will save their own soul too. Intercede for them brethren!
Intercede on their behalf. Call on the Lord, the Saviour, to save the souls of
these people! That He will cleanse them in His blood and write their names in
the Book of Life. Pray for them brethren! Intercede for these people! Intercede
on their behalf.
Those of you who are still coming, just keep coming there is still room for
you. Keep coming! Keep coming! There is still room for you! keep coming! Keep
coming! There's still room! there's still room! Come and surrender your life to
Him! Don't miss this day! Come quickly now. Only one minute to go and then we
will pray! Hurry up quickly – this is your day. Thank You Father! Come and
surrender your life to Him. Backsliders come home, come home - the Lord is
waiting for you. Don't miss this day! Don't miss this day! 30 seconds to go and
then we pray! Come on quickly. This is our own day of salvation Don't miss this
day! Don't miss this day! If you are coming, hurry up! Hurry up! God bless you!
Hurry up! Hurry up! God bless you! Come quickly! Find your way to the front! God
bless you! God bless you! I can see you coming I will wait. Come on quickly!
Hurry up! Hurry up! This is your day. Thank You Father! Blessed be the Name of
the Lord! Thank You Jesus! Keep coming. Hurry up! This is your day! Thank You
Jesus! Glory be to God! Thank You Father! Keep coming! Keep coming! Keep coming!
Make sure you get here before I finish praying! In Jesus' mighty Name we have
prayed! (Amen!)
Father, I thank You. Thank You for Your word which brought these people into
your kingdom. Father you promised that whoseoever would come unto You, You will
in no wise caste out. These people have come unto You now. Please receive them
in Jesus' Name! (Amen!) Receive them in Jesus' Name! (Amen!) Cleanse them in
Your blood in Jesus' Name! (Amen!) Write their names in the book of life in
Jesus' Name! (Amen!) Father, from tonight anytime You are anointing Your own,
anoint these people also in Jesus' Name! (Amen!) Let them serve You for the rest
of their life In Jesus' mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!)
Now if you are coming still keep coming it is not too late. Glory be to God!
Now those of you in front let me hear you shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!). I am
rejoicing with you and the Almighty God is rejoicing with you too and I want to
promise you, God helping me, from today, I will be praying for you so I am going
to need your names, address and prayer requests so that I can continue to pray
for you. And make sure the address is correct so that when I ask God to send
your miracle it will be sent to the address that you put down. So if you will
follow this brother to my left he will lead you to where some Pastors are
waiting. they will collect his information and then you can come back quickly.
You can begin to go now. Let's give the Lord a big round of applause for this
harvest of souls.
Let somebody shout 'Alleluia!' Now we are about to pray but there are some
people who have major testimonies that they want to share. They can begin to
proceed to the back of the altar and they can pray even as they move towards
that direction. let's stand on our feet. The one who is going to be the greatest
of all let me hear him or her shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!).
Now with your hands lifted up pray to God and say Father, anoint me to
flourish. Go ahead! Talk to the Almighty God!: Anoint me to flourish! Almighty
God Anoint me to flourish! The Lord will bless you indeed He will enlarge your
coast. His hand will be upon you for good and no evil will come near you at
all. If you believe that say 'Amen!' (Amen!)
For just few minutes I want us to take a look at Solomon among those who
flourished Solomon was number one. There is a difference between a river and an
ocean. No matter how big a river is it is not as big as an ocean. Among those w
ho flourish there are those who flourish. There are some people who flourish so
much that other flourishers will look at them and say definitely you flourished.
In 2 Chronicles 9:22 the Bible says, and Solomon surpassed all the kings of the
earth in riches and wisdom and in verse 25 of the same chapter it says that
Solomon had 4,000 stores for horses and chariots, of 12,000 bestowed in the
chariot cities. Let us try and put this in modern language. can you imagine
yourself having an estate and out of the estate you carve out a little section
which we will call 'cars village'. And there are only 4,00 houses there for your
drivers. every driver has a house. A driver for a car; so 4,00 houses for 4,000
drivers. Automatically you have 4,000 cars only. Is anybody ready to believe God
for that? (Amen!)
Or maybe we can take it just a step further and say you have your own private
airport and there were only 4,00 airplanes in your private airport. Is that
easy? when Solomon wants to arrange for daily bread, daily ration 1 Kings
4:22-23 tells us that on a daily basis the food that they eat in Solomon's
household includes 30 raised cows, 100 sheep, a lot of fat chicken and plenty of
bush meat. Read it, it is in the Bible. One family. every day 30 cows, 100 sheep
not counting chicken and bush meat. How many of you still think that the God of
Solomon can also do the same thing for you? I know it is difficult to imagine
but that is where God is taking you. (Amen!) I want you to say the 'Amen' loud
and clear. (Amen!)
What makes it easy for me to believe is a story I've already told you before.
1981 I cried to God, Father build me a house. And God said, Son don't ask me
for a house I've decided to build you a city. It is not a long time ago. Already
we are beginning to see the city. In ten years time, if the Lord tarries, this
city will be one of the biggest in the whole world and you better say Amen to
that because in the same moment we are saying my house will be one? How many of
you believe your own house will be there? (Amen!)
Don't believe what your pocket is telling you. Believe what God is telling
you. Last month He commanded you to be great. Your greatness had already
started! (Amen!) This month I'm anointing you to flourish. So shall it be in
Jesus' Name! (Amen!) All of you who came by bus it's not going to be long before
you come in your own car so you can imagine that very soon there'll be a car
village and your car will be there. (Amen!) Let me hear your 'Amen' loud and
clear!
So what is the secret of Solomon? what brought him to this level of
flourishing? Solomon was not a very clever boy. He wasn't a professor at the
beginning . Even the passage we read at the beginning told us so. The father
said, Ina very polite manner. My son is young and tender – the word tender
there, really means this boy is not too clever – but clever or not clever, he
knew that if only he could attract the attention of God, things will change. So
he thought what can I do that I can attract the attention of God? He said I
will give Him and offering that nobody had ever done before – not even my
father! And the Bible tells us in 2 Chronicles 1:6-12 Solomon gave God 1,000
burnt offerings in 1 day and God said, I've never seen this before! I must visit
this man. May the Almighty God visit you tonight. (Amen!) God visited him and
said Solomon! What's the problem? what do you want that has caused you to do so
much. Solomon said, Before everybody discovers that I am not too clever, give me
wisdom let me surprise them. God said is that what you want? He a said, That's
what I'm asking for – wisdom, understanding! – that's all! That's all right.
Wisdom is given to you. Understanding is given to you. And what you did not ask
for, to show you that I am the Jehovah El Shaddai, I will give it to you,
If you read verse 13-15 almost immediately after God spoke things began to
happen. Before you knew it Solomon had become so wealthy that he already had
1,400 chariots. 1,400 camels. 1,400 cars. Solomon said, This thing is working. I
gave 1,000 burnt offerings, I got the wisdom I wanted. I got the understanding I
wanted. In addition I have 1,000 chariots. He said, In that case I will do more.
2 Chronicles 7:5 – look at what he did again! King Solomon offered a sacrifice
of 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep. At the beginning he offered 1,000 burnt
offerings. The second time 22,000 cows! 120,000 sheep! The Lord said, is that
so? You want to trade with me? I will show you that I also I'm a good trader.
The Bible tells us from that moment onwards every year 676 talents of gold will
come in to Solomon! It became difficult to even keep record of the gold that was
coming in so that whenever anybody brought silver, Solomon will say, Go and dump
it at the back yard. You have prayed tonight. Everything you asked for you have
already got it in Jesus' Name! (Amen!) What you have not asked for will be given
to you in Jesus' Name! (Amen!)
Let me encourage you! From now on make up your mind that on a daily basis,
your giving to God will increase; that on every opportunity you have you will
trade with Him and watch what He will do. It is not gong to be long before you
stand here and testify that I was nothing when I came in July 2004 but now look
what Jesus has done. So shall it be in Jesus' Name! (Amen!) If you believe it
let me hear you say, Amen! (Amen!)
You are going to pray just one more prayer. I know you have prayed a lot of
prayers but you are going to pray one more prayer. You are going to ask God for
grace to be God's partner. So stand on your feet and ask God for that singular
grace! Lord! Give me the grace to be Your partner. I want to work with You! I
know if I can just work with You I will flourish! If only You can be my senior
Partner, I know I will flourish! I will flourish beyond what anybody can dream
possible. Give me the grace Lord to flourish! The grace to be Your partner in
every area of my life! The grace Lord! I want to be Your partner. I want to be
Your Partner in soul-winning. I want to be Your partner in the building of Your
kingdom on earth! The grace! The grace to be Your partner! The grace to serve
You joyfully, with gladness. Lord give me the grace – to be a committed partner
of the Most High God! Give me the grace Lord for the rest of my life! Give me
the grace to be Your partner for the rest of my life serving You with joy, with
gladness, with all that I have, with all that is available to me. Give me the
grace Lord to be Your partner! I want to beat Solomon! I want to beat Solomon!
Give me the grace Lord to be Your Partner! To serve You all the days of my life!
Thank You Father! Glory be to God! In Jesus' mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!)
So shall it be!
The wisdom you need will be given unto you! (Amen!) The understanding you
need will be given unto you! (Amen!) The anointing you need will be given unto
you! (Amen!) The grace, the gifts that you need will be given unto you! (Amen!)
Long life will be yours! (Amen!) Peace of mind will be yours! Divine health will
be yours! (Amen!)
