THE HOLY SPIRIT 8th of August, 2014

Let’s lift our hands to the Most High God and begin to bless His holy name, let’s magnify His holy name, let’s praise the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Ancient of days, the Unchangeable Changer, let’s magnify His Holy name, He is worthy to be praised, He is worthy to be adored, He is worthy to be magnified, praise His holy name, give Him glory, give Him honor, give Him adoration, bless His holy name.

Praise the King of kings, praise the Lord of lords. Worship Him, He reigns forever, He is the only one who can do the impossible, magnify His Holy name tonight.

Praise Him.

He is the Almighty God, He is the Ancient of days, He reigns forever, praise Him, give Him all glory, give Him all honor, magnify His holy name.

Thank you Father! Oh yes you are worthy; you are worthy of my praise, you are worthy of my adoration, there is no one like you daddy. I bless your holy name. Thank you savior … in Jesus mighty name we worship.

I want you to lift your voice to Him and say Father; please attend to me specially tonight!

King of kings, Lord of lords, Ancient of days, unchangeable Changer, the Holy one of Israel, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, our Savior, our Healer, our Provider, our Deliverer, our Friend, our Supporter, the Lord, the Lord strong and mighty. The Lord strong and mighty in battle, the King of glory, the Lord of host, glory be to your holy name. Please accept our worship in Jesus name.

Thank you father, the Lord said there is someone here tonight, He asked me to tell you the news will be good.

Tonight Father, like you have never done before: perform wonders in our midst; wonders of salvation, wonders of healings, wonders of deliverance, wonders of fruitfulness, wonders of breakthroughs, wonders of victory, wonders of joy. In our lives perform wonders and Lord God Almighty your children who could not come for one reason or the other, wherever they are now bless them in Jesus’ name; answer their prayers also in Jesus name. By the time the sun rises oh Lord, let everyone of us sing a new song in Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.

Let somebody shout halleluiah!

I want you to prophesy to two or three people and say: God will visit you tonight

 

Prayer for August children

Father I am committing your children born in the month of AUGUST into your hands, August is the eighth month of the year and eight is the number of new beginnings. In the lives of all these your children, let there be a new beginning: a new beginning of joy, a new beginning of success, a new beginning of promotion, a new beginning of a closer work with God, let it be well with all of them and let them serve you till the end. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Congratulation, many happy returns!

Announcement:

As at 8.15pm, the number of children born during this convention had increased to eighty-seven and the boys have taken the lead again; we now have forty four boys, forty three girls.

Two years ago, some people came here trusting God for the fruit of the womb; by the time they came here, they were already pregnant but they were yet to be delivered so we said they should wait.

Last year, some people came trusting God for the fruit of the womb and now the baby has come.

So both of them; those who deliver after last year’s convention and those who came last year trusting God and the children are already here, they will kindly bring forward those children now so we can bless them. And please rejoice with them because the Bible says we should rejoice with those rejoicing

God knows I have special love for children that is why He gave me anointing to make the barren fruitful, look at all the homes where there used to be sorrow, where there is now joy.

Brethren please help me stretch your hands towards these children, and bless them, pray for them; that sickness will run away from them, that death will run for them, that demons will stay away from them, pray that our joy over these children will last forever.

Please pray for them, intercede for them. Pray that it will be well with all these children and their parents and that they will grow up to serve the Lord.

Please intercede for these children. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

‘Father I thank you, thank you for wiping the tears of these your children, thank you for turning their sorrow to joy, thank you for turning their mourning to laughter, thank you for answering our prayers. Please accept our thanks in Jesus name.

We have come to present these children to you; we waited long for them, now we’ve got them.

Please protect them for us in Jesus name.

Let our joy over them last forever in Jesus name, keep sickness away from them in Jesus name, keep death away from them in Jesus name, keep demons away from them in Jesus name.

Let them grow up to become vessel unto honor in your hands in Jesus name.

And everything that the parents will need to rear these children in the fear of the Lord, provide for them abundantly in Jesus name.

Thank you my Father and my God. And those who are still trusting you for the fruit of the womb; next year let them be in this crowd in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

In the Redeemed Christian church of God, barrenness shall be totally unknown.

Next month by the special grace of God, it will be a special Holy Ghost service for those who are trusting God for the fruit of the womb, so if you have relatives and friends that are believing God for the fruit of the womb, invite them to the next Holy Ghost service.

The theme for next month is the Keys of David. There is a key in the hand of the Most High God: when He opens, no man can shut and He is going to open several more wombs next month in Jesus name.

So in September there will be no Shiloh hour, because the month itself is specially for those trusting God for the fruit of the womb.

Next Monday there will be divine encounter and Shiloh hour here and by the grace of God, in December we will have our congress here and the theme for this year’s Congress is THE GREAT SHEPHERD.

Now usually once a year like this we love to give a brief report of what God has done, but because they are listening to us now all over the world, we have to look for correct words to present our report, so I can just tell you briefly that in Nigeria as of today, by the grace of God, we have more than 32,000 parishes.

If you are a mathematician you know the meaning of more than; so when we say more than 2, it could be 3, or 4 or ten. More than 32,000 parishes!

By the grace of God we are now in more than 180 nations of the world. And am so delighted that we could bring you the choir from Cambodia this year, next year we will bring more choirs from other parts of the world so you will know by the grace of God we are actually there.

On report, I won’t want to say more than that. But I need to mention the fact that last year I told you that this year we will be worshipping in our new auditorium and I’m sure you will be surprised that we are still in this old auditorium.

It is because of several factors which I won’t want to mention. Because if I go to details, I will cause some people some embarrassment and believe God that by the special grace of God unfailingly, we shall be in our new auditorium.

Because we should thank God today from the bottom of our heart that the rain that has been falling since the beginning of the week decided to stop raining today: because if it has rained today, we would have been in serious trouble, because all the roads now are occupied.

Before I came out of my prayer room I looked behind the altars and the crowd there is almost frightening.

Where would we have put them?

And then this is in spite of the fact that we told our members from the west coast of Africa to stay away.

If they had come, we would have been in a crises concerning accommodation.

So compulsorily now, whether we like it or not, we must move to our new auditorium next year and this is where you come in because one of the problems we had which I believe we will no longer have is that all those who made pledges for one reason or the other have not fully fulfilled their pledges.

As a matter of fact, I can count those who have fully fulfilled their pledges and they will be less than ten. And this is very strange because my children are not like that, when they make a pledge they fulfill the pledge.

So I believe that it must be the devil causing a restriction.

And that is why I prayed yesterday, any person or group of persons, any force or group of forces that is standing between you and your goal, the fire of God will consume.

Any force or forces working against your finances that is not allowing you to do what you want to do for God, before the end of these week the fire of God will consume them.

And so I am appealing to all of us: if you make a pledge concerning the new auditorium, please pay rapidly.

If you have not made any pledges concerning the new auditorium please make one tonight.

It doesn’t have to be something big to start with; it could be just a thousand naira or ten or hundred, or a million, or a hundred million, or a billion, or 10 billion or a 100 billion, or a trillion.

You can start small and then as God prospers you more, you can do more and more.

I thank God for about a handful of people about five of them in number who have decided these project whatever it is going to cost we will see it fulfilled, such people my Daddy will surprise you in Jesus name.

So please before the end of this month, stand up and do something great, something solid so that we can continue the work of the auditorium.

Some of you may say where is the new auditorium? Well some of you have been going there by bus to see the place but with this crowd, I can’t say they should take you there by bus; I don’t know how many buses will take you but work is going on.

How many of us are ready for our miracle tonight; how many want to wait till next year? How many want to wait till next month? How many of you want your miracles right now? Let me hear you shout halleluiah!

 

THE HOLY SPIRIT

Act 2 v 1-4 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire and it sat upon each of them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

I want to talk to you very briefly about the Holy Spirit.

The first thing you need to know is that the Holy Spirit is God.

I explained, I think during the minister’s conference, that some people get confused when we say there is only one God and yet we say God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

There is only one God but He manifests Himself in three dimensions.

To my children, I am Adeboye the father; to my mother, I am Adeboye the son; to my wife, I am Adeboye the husband.

One Adeboye can manifest as father, son and husband.

And I explained the way I behave when I am Adeboye the son, it is different from the way I behave when I am manifesting as Adeboye the father.

And I said for example, if my mother should drop my China plate, what I would say to her is “mama, gently o, I hope you are not hurt?

Sorry ma”. I will be apologizing to her for breaking my plate. If my son breaks the same plate fire may fall and it may not be Holy Ghost fire.

The way He operate as God the Father, it is different from the way He operates as God the Son and it is different from the way He operates as God the Holy Spirit.

Tonight He wants to operate as God the Holy Spirit.

And I am telling you certain thing will happen in your life tonight that you will never forget.

Now God is very difficult to describe, particularly when we are talking about God the Holy Spirit.

But the text I read to you tells us that we can describe Him as a mighty rushing wind.

We can describe Him as fire, later on I will show you we can describe Him as oil.

We can describe Him as a mighty river; we might be able to talk about that one tomorrow night.

But briefly because of time, it has to be before the city wakes up.

Let’s look at the Holy Spirit as the wind, in Exodus 14 vs 21-28 when Moses lifted his hands towards the red sea, the Bible says there was a mighty rushing wind from the east: that created a way in the red sea.

When the Holy Spirit is moving as a wind, He makes a way where there is no way before;

And I am praying for some one here tonight, in all areas of your life where there has been no way before, before this night is out there will be a way.

 When that wind blew and created a way for the children of Israel, their enemies followed them; enemies that have been in their generation for more than four hundred years, but when the children of Israel came to the other side of the sea, Moses lifted his hand again, the wind withdrew, the sea came together and all the enemies of the children of Israel drown in one day.

Whenever the Holy Spirit blows as a wind, as He is about to do tonight, all generational enemies wii vanish in a single moment.

And so I am believing God for all of you who are here, and those of you who are listening to us from all over the world, that when the Holy Spirit moves tonight, suddenly the enemies you have seen up till this moment, you will see them no more forever.

When the Holy Spirit blew as a wind, the testimonies of the children of Israel became complete; they were set free before; now the enemy was pursuing them to bring them back into slavery but when that wind blew, suddenly their testimonies became complete.

And I am saying to someone here tonight, before the sun rises tomorrow, your testimony will become complete.

In Ezekiel 37 v 1-10 the wind of the Holy Spirit blew again and dry bones came back to life.

Whenever the wind of the Holy Spirit blows the irreversible becomes reversed.

And so I am believing God for someone here today, that all the blessings you have lost, all the opportunities you have lost, all the breakthroughs you have lost, all the glories you have lost shall be restored fully tonight in Jesus name.

 

Thank you

Father, the Lord said there is someone here tonight, He said your life is symbolic of unfinished project: He said I should tell you when the wind blows tonight, everything concerning you shall be fully perfected.

Thank you Daddy, the Lord said there is someone here tonight, He said you will understand; He said the boils are gone and you can check to be sure.

The healing power of God is already working mightily in our midst; I might not be able to mention all of them because they are rushing in.

But there is a particular person here, the Lord says it is as if a red hot needle pinches you all over the body that even sitting down now is as if you are sitting on those needles, the Lord says He has taken away the needles.

I was talking in 2Kings 2 v 19 -22 after the wind blew, the opportunity that the people of Jericho thought they had lost forever, was completely restored to them. In the same 2 King 2 v 9-15 when the wind blew for Elisha, that very day, he entered into his destiny.

And I am prophesying to someone here tonight, that the plan of God for your life will begin to find fulfillment from now on in Jesus name.

The Lord said there is somewhere tonight; He said you have alternated regularly from abundance to lack, from lack to abundance, abundance to lack. The Lord asked me to tell you tonight, ‘I will give you a breakthrough that will last for a long time’.

We want to look at the Holy Spirit as fire, in Judges 15 but the Lord is still speaking.

Thank you Daddy. The Lord said there is someone here tonight, He said: long after those who are blocking your way are gone you will still be flying high.

Judges 15 v 14-15 the relatives of Samson brought him bound and handed him over to the enemy.

As far as the relatives were concerned, an end had come for Samson.

As far as the enemies were concerned, an end as come for Samson but the Holy Spirit came down as fire and the ropes binding Samson were burnt by fire and he grabbed the jaw bone of an ass and destroyed those who would have destroyed him.

When the Holy Spirit operates as fire what he does is that those who want to truncate your destiny, he has a way of turning them to fuel.

So that he can burn them up; so that you can continue with your destiny.

And I am prophesying tonight under the unction of the mighty Holy Spirit: everyone trying to truncate your destiny, they won’t see next month.

In 1 King 18 v 36-38 we see the Holy Spirit again manifesting as fire, Elijah prepared an altar…

Thank you my father, the Lord said there is someone here tonight, He said your desert experience ends tonight.

I think we better let Him do the talking, it is the Holy Spirit’s program: so He can have His way,

Because, He is saying that there is someone here tonight; when your detractors see what I’m about to  do for you, they will hide their heads in shame.

We were talking about Elijah, he prepared an altar; he put a bullock on it and cried to God: he said hear me oh God, hear me; answer me by fire so they will know you are the one who sent me.

And the fire fell, consumed the offering, consumed the wood, consumed stones, consumed the soil and even licked up water.

Now you should know already that the kind of fire that will eat up stones and lick up water is not an ordinary fire.

Now when the Holy Spirit is moving as Fire, He does so many things; I don’t have the time to do so many things, I don’t have the time to give you all of them.

It doesn’t matter, your testimony will show but when the Holy Spirit is moving by fire He has a way of drying up your tears, He enjoys drinking up water; He likes to wipe tears away from your eyes.

So I am telling someone here tonight, this is the last time you will ever weep for sorrow.

But then specifically whenever the Holy Spirit operates as Fire, it is a sign that your prayers have been answered.

The bible tells us that we don’t even know how to pray as we ought but the Holy Spirit helps us to pray.

Thank you Lord, Daddy says there is someone here tonight, He said when your next breakthrough comes, your shout will be; this is worth waiting for.

In Mark 2 v 1-41 you will see that when the Holy Spirit functions as Fire, He has a way of turning the potential in a man to reality.

You see, Jesus has told Peter, I will turn you to a fisher of men. Jesus said so three years earlier, but he didn’t win any soul: but when the Holy Spirit came down like fire and sat upon that man, he preached a single sermon and he won three thousand souls.

You see, there are some of you here, it might not be everybody, there’s  something within you, saying

‘I am meant to be more than this, I am created for greatness, I’m not created to be small’

But then, even though you know it, circumstances seem to be saying, ‘no you are small and you will remain small’

But as the Lord lives, when the Holy Spirit begins to move tonight, that which God wants you to be, you will become in Jesus name.

 

Very quickly let’s look at the Holy Spirit as OIL in, Act 10 v38 that we studied yesterday night, the Bible says: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power.

In other words, the Holy Spirit can act as Oil for anointing.

And the moment God anointed Jesus Christ with the Holy Ghost and with power; the Bible says He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil.

One of the things that the Holy Ghost does when He’s operating as Oil is that He turns an ordinary man to somebody who can perform miracles.

Like Peter for example, an ordinary fisherman but when the Holy Spirit came upon him, his shadow began to heal the sick.

I want to appeal to you tonight, don’t write yourself off, and please stop believing that you are not going to do wonders for God.

Because those of you who are old, you will remember one of the promises God made to me is that those who are members of the Redeemed Christian church of God, a day will come whenever you stumble on somebody, that fellow will receive a miracle.

God said so and it is going to come to past.

Now you want to ask me, when?

Can you answer the question?

Let me hear your answer very well!

Because when the Holy Spirit begins to act as Oil, He empowers you to go about doing good; to begin to heal, to begin to set the captives free.

Many of you heard the testimony here of one of you, just one of you; not a pastor, not the General Overseer, that they told her ‘come to the hospital quickly your daughter is about to deliver and there Is a crises’; by the time she arrived a set of twin had been brought out of the daughter: and both of them were dead, and the daughter herself was gone; and she said no problem, I have a bottle of oil here that have been anointed at the camp, so she told the doctor ‘please can I attend to the children?’

The doctor said ‘they are already dead, whatever you want to do go ahead and do’ but in dying, the children died with their mouth opened.

So she dropped a little bit of oil in the mouth of the second and said don’t waste my time come back, come back! Minutes later, the first baby began to cry, the second began to cry; and she said ‘please, may I attend to their mother?’

She said to the mother ‘common this is a dress I brought from the camp come on, come back to life’

Ordinary member; brought three people back from the dead in a single day.

I prophesy to someone here today your testimony will beat that one.

The Lord said there is someone here tonight, He said ‘I have shown you before that I am the Almighty God’ He said ‘I will do so again’.

I want to thank God for this one. If this is the only one He says tonight that is enough for me.

God has just said, He said ‘son, greatness is in grace’.

He said in a country the Head of State is considered the greatest man but when presidents gather, some presidents sit at the back some sit at the front.

The Lord asked me to tell someone here tonight, ‘when the greatest gather together you will be in the fore front’.

The Lord asked me to tell someone here tonight, He said you will not bed wet again.

The Lord said there is a woman here who said “everything you are saying is good, all I want is that next year I want to come with my child”. The Lord asked me to tell you ‘get ready for a set of twins’

 

1Samuel 16 v 11-13, Samuel has gone into the house of Jesse to anoint a King and when he got there, Jesse brought out his big boys, and God says ‘I am not choosing any of these’.

So finally, Samuel asked ‘are these all your children?’

Daddy says there is someone here; you know the enemies are trying a new method to attack you, He asked me to tell you ‘I will use a new method to stop them’.

Daddy says, they have told you that you are going to die in sorrow, He said but I should tell you ‘those who prepare the garments of sorrow shall wear them’.

So Samuel asked Jesse, are these all your boys? He said there remain only one man but he is not the kind of person you will make a king.

He was so reluctant to talk about David; so reluctant that the man of God said we won’t sit down until you bring that boy.

So they brought David and the man of God poured oil on his head and in an instant, the one who have been forgotten, became a king.

I have good news for someone here tonight: all those who have pushed you to the background will come and bow before you.

I think I better get out of the way I can feel the wind already blowing, I have only one appeal before I get out of here: you see, the Holy spirit is a very great friend, when He is blowing in your favor, things just will be happening in a miraculous way.

But if he is blowing against you, you can ask Jonah what happened.

Therefore if for any reason whatsoever, maybe you have not yet made up your mind to surrender your life to Jesus when they made the first altar call or you came late, but now you have heard what I have just said and you don’t want the Holy Ghost to blow against you.

You want Him to begin to blow in your favor; please surrender your life to Jesus.

It is very important because what is about to happen here tonight has never happened before and it is something you don’t want to miss.

Even though I can feel the power of God already moving mightily, I will spare you two minutes; if you haven’t given your life to Jesus Christ and you want to do so tonight, you are to go to the altar nearest to you.

If you look around I think there are about seventy different altars in the entire congregation; go to the nearest one to you, I will pray for your salvation in a moment and the Lord will save your soul.

As you come, talk to Jesus to have mercy on you and save your soul; tell him you don’t want to be the enemy of the Holy Spirit anymore: I want to surrender my life to God; I want to serve him, save my soul, forgive my sins and I will serve you for the rest of my life.

Brethren help me to intercede for the souls of these people; stretch your hands towards them, that God will save their souls; that He will forgive them their sins; that He will wash them clean in His blood. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Savior I just want to thank you for your word, and I want to thank you for all those who are standing before your altars all over this place.

Please receive them all in Jesus name. Save their souls in Jesus name, let your blood was away their sins in Jesus name.

Please write their names in the book of life in Jesus name.

And when the wind of the Holy Spirit begins to blow tonight, let it blow in their favor in Jesus name. And let them serve you for the rest of their lives in Jesus name.

Thank you Almighty God in Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen

Now please all of you before the various altars there are counselors around you; they need your name, your address and your prayer requests and I promise you I will be praying for you.

They will give you a card that you will fill very quickly. Congratulations!

Now the rest of us, I want you to write down the following prayer points:

1.    Praise God that you are here tonight and you are life, praise Him for life, praise Him that youare able to listen to this message tonight.

2.    Father, every door that have been shut against me, force them open tonight.

3.    Father, if there be any curse still left in my family, cancel such curses tonight.

4.    Father, before the end of this month, make my testimonies complete

5.    Father, every good thing that I have lost please restore them to me tonight.

6.    Father, any force trying to truncate my destiny, wipe it out tonight.

7.    Father, that which you planned for me to become, let me begin to become it from tonight.

While you are seated for a few minutes while we allow the people here to get back to their seats, begin to discuss those points, begin to pray with all your heart.

That you are seating down doesn’t mean that you are praying silently it just means you are seating down… in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Please pay a very close attention now, if you pay attention to the text we read: it says when the days of Pentecost was fully come, they were in one accord in one place.

And suddenlly! When God wants to change the life of a man, He does it suddenly. In the next minutes, certain things are bound to happen in your life.

And I beg you in the name of the Almighty God follow my instructions carefully.

I’m sure by now you know I don’t do anything without His direction.

There are three prayers that you are about to pray: I will tell you one after the other.

The Lord asked me to make three flags; He said on the first flag, I’m to draw a dove; representing the Holy Spirit and out of its mouth is coming a wind.

He said I’m to lift up that flag for you.

When I do that, you are going to pray a prayer that will simply say Father, let the wind of your Holy Spirit blow me to a higher level.

Then we will come to the second thing that He said I should do.

The second flag, I’m to draw on it a dove and out of its mouth is coming fire; when I lift it up for you, you are to pray a prayer: Father, let the fire of your Holy Spirit fall and release me into my destiny.

Then we come to the third one, where He said I should draw a dove and out of its mouth is oil flowing.

When I lift it up to you, you will pray your third prayer: Father, let the oil of your oil spirit fall afresh on me and accelerate my promotion.

Three prayers and you can see they are serious ones.

It will be in your own interest that you approach the next 15 minutes with the faith of a child and if you are watching at home, during this next 15minutes be on your feet and pray along with us.

As the Lord lives you will testify.

 

Now in the next 5minutes anything else you want from God ask Him now….

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

In the Name that is above every other name, tonight, for all of you the wind will blow.

Where there is no way before God will create a way for you; the wind of the Holy spirit will blow you to a higher level; the enemies you have seen up till tonight, you will never see them again: the wind will blow sickness out of your way, the wind will blow demons out of your way and every opportunity you have lost, the wind will blow them back to you.

Tonight that consuming fire of God, will consume every hindrance out of your way in Jesus name, you will enter into your destiny tonight in Jesus name.

Now the oil of the Holy Spirit will fall on you afresh in Jesus name, from now, when you take one step.

The Almighty God will translate it to one thousand steps, He will accelerate your promotion; and beginning from now when you knock at one door seven will be open unto you.

You will never forget tonight because from now on your joy will begin to overflow.

So shall it be and you too you will serve the Lord you; will perform miracle for God.

In Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.
