We thank You especially for our last convention; we thank You for salvation of souls, we thank You for healings, we thank You for miracle, signs and wonders; we thank You for the children that came by hundreds of thousands, we thank You that you kept each and every one of them save, we thank You for Journey mercy to and fro, Father accept our thanks in Jesus’ name.

We thank You for provision; we thank You for Your sufficiency; we thank You for the joy we have in You, Father, please accept our thanks in Jesus’ name. Father, this is the beginning of a new year for your church, in the life of everybody here tonight and all those listening to us all over the world, let there be a new beginning. Beginning from now till the next year’s convention, on a daily basis let there be wonders. You have told us in advance that next year will be shouting wonderful, Father, beginning from now let the wonders begin; even before tomorrow morning let somebody here shout wonderful. Thank You Almighty God.

Lifted into Glory!

As usual we want to spend the next few minutes talking to those who have not yet surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.

For this people I will be reading from Hebrew chapter 2 from verse 14 to 15:

14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Every sinner is a prisoner - A prisoner of the devil; a prisoner held in bondage; kept in a dungeon.

Every sinner – whether they admit it or not – is a slave, in a hole, a dark horrible hole, held captive by Satan himself.

The Bible says in 1John chapter 3 verse 8, He said he that sinneth is of the devil.

You are a sinner; you belong to the devil;

And the Bible says you belong to him lawfully; you are his slave legally.

So He says in Isaiah 49 verse 24, He said who is going to deliver the prey from the mighty? Who is going to take the lawful captive away from the owner?

So, a sinner is a captive; captive of Satan in a dungeon, in a deep dark hole;

And if somebody is in a hole and he wants to come out of the hole, he has to cry for help.

The unfortunate thing for sinners is that even if they cry their sin will not allow the only One who can help them to hear – Isaiah 59 verses 1 and 2

Isaiah 59 verses 1 and 2 say is not as if God cannot reach down and bring anybody out of the hole; the hand of the Lord is not shortened that He cannot save; His arms are everlasting arms;

No matter how deep the hole, His hand is still deeper than the hole.

Neither is ear heavy that He cannot hear, God is not deaf;

He says but your sins have separated between you and your God; so, when you cry to Him He won’t even hear.

On the other hand, a saved soul is someone who had heard the truth and the truth had set him or her free

Because the Bible says is John chapter 8 verse 32: you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

So the different between the sinner and the saint is that the saint heard the truth and responded.

What is the truth that can make you free?

Truth number one: is that there is salvation in Jesus and Jesus alone.

Acts chapter 4 verse 10 to 12, there is no salvation in no other, no other, than in the name of Jesus.

That is truth number one.                                                        

Truth number two: it is the blood of Jesus Christ alone that cleanses from all sins

1John chapter 1 verse 7: the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sins;

Not the blood of goats or bullocks – according to Hebrews chapter 10 verse 1 to 10.

It does not matter how many times you slaughter animals to atone for your sins, it is of no use.

Truth number three: is that there is someone who can deliver the lawful captives; there is someone mightier than the devil.

Isaiah 49 verse 25 to 26 says clearly there is someone who can deliver you; who can lift you up from the dungeon; there is someone who can take the captives away from mighty, who can take the prey from the terrible

That person is the Almighty God.

Truth number four: there is someone who can translate you from darkness into light.

Because if you are sinner captured by the Satan you will be dwelling in darkness

Colossians chapter 1 verse 12 to 15 made it clear – it is the Lord Jesus Christ that can translate us out of darkness into the marvelous light of God.

Truth number five: Ephesians chapter 2 from verse 13 to 18 made it clear that world that was separating you from God had been broken down by Jesus Christ if you allow Jesus Christ He can give you access to the Almighty God.

Truth number six: John chapter 1 verse 11 to 12, as many as believe in Jesus Christ to them gave the power to be called sons of God.

Jesus can move you into the family of God by adoption – Romans chapter 8 verse 15

Romans 8 verse 15 tells us we now cry Abba Father because we have been adopted into the family of God.

Someone was asking me some time ago: is it alright to adopt a child?

I said haa, we are all adopted children of God, He has only one begotten son; the rest of us are all adopted.

Through Jesus Christ we can be adopted into the family God.

And truth number seven: 2Corinthians 5 verse 17, the Bible says in Christ Jesus old things passed away, all things become new

He can make all things new!

And truth number eight: Revelation chapter 12 verse 10 to 11 – through the blood of Jesus Christ you can overcome Satan.

Just by the blood of that Lamb of God, the one who had held you captive you can now hold him captive;

You can overcome Satan by the blood of the Lamb.

And then truth number nine: James chapter 4 verse 7 – if you surrender to God you can resist the devil and he will flee from you - plain truth

Which brings me to the final truth, truth number ten: if you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you call on his name, you shall be saved.

So you have a choice

The choice is to remain a slave to the Satan, kept in his dungeon; or

To surrender your life to Jesus Christ and be lifted out of darkness into light; out of captivity into freedom; out of slavery into to sunhood – and nobody can force you, the choice is yours.

Do you want to stay on with Satan so the he can keep tormenting you? Or

Do you want to come over to the side of Jesus Christ?

And tell Satan, now you are under my feet.

A friend of mine was talking the other day - he is very funny man;

I won’t tell you too much about him because some of you know will probably have heard of him not too long ago; he does not think like other people think, he is different.

We were talking about kidnappers and he was saying that they don’t have to kill kidnappers.

What you should do when you arrest them is hand them over to former victims of kidnapping.

Hand them over to them, turn your back for three days and after three days come and rescue them.

He said they will never kidnap again.

I think you know what he is talking about?

If you who cross to the side of Jesus Christ and Satan become your victim; the one who used to torment you will become somebody you will begin to torment.

And you know what?

If you give your life to Jesus Christ today, you can become a terror to the devil.

And all those evil forces that have shown undue interest in you; that have kept you in barrenness all this years will now tremble when they hear you shout Jesus

Because they will be able to say Jesus I know and now I know this fellow who has surrendered his life to Jesus Christ.

So, if you want to give your life to Jesus Christ I am going to count from one to ten, before I say ten come and stand before me and I will pray for your salvation; you will become a member of family of God

And if you are in family of God that barrenness will no longer be your portion and the Almighty God who had been doing marvelous things in others will be free to do the same thing for you.

I am counting now

One, two, three, four,

Come and give your life to Him and very soon you will be singing: I am lifted, I am lifted, by the blood of the Lamb, out of sin and sorrow, into the glory of the glory of the Lord.

Come, come and surrender your life to Him.

Five, six, seven,

You give your life to Him, He will lift you out of sin, out of sorrow, out of fruitlessness, out of the darkness of the dungeon of Satan; come, He is calling you.

Eight, nine,

Just keep coming, keep coming, you are not late yet; make sure you get here before we finish praying.

Talk to the Almighty God those of you who are already in front and those of you are still on the way. Ask Him to have mercy on you, ask Him to forgive all your sins, ask Him to save your souls, and promise Him that from now on you will serve Him that you don’t want anything to do with the devil anymore, you want to spend the rest of your life serving the Almighty God and He will answer you and receive you into the family of God.

Cry to Him those of you in front and those of you on the way. Those of you on the way you hurry up very quickly because we will soon be praying for salvation. And the rest of us let us stretch our hands to our new brothers and sisters and pray that the Almighty God will have mercy on them that He will forgive all their sins and rescue them from the yoke of bondage of Satan. Pray that today will mark a new beginning for them even as they are received into the family of God. Pray for them; intercede for them. Pray that God will have mercy on each and every one of them. Pray for them. Pray that the One who saved your soul will save their own souls also.

And those of you who are coming forward for salvation you have to hurry up a bit now because I am about to pray. But just keep coming and make sure you get here before I finish praying. Pray. Thank You Father.

Saviour I just want to thank You very much because You made a promise that whosoever will come unto You, You will no wise cast out; these people have come now, to surrender their lives to You, please receive them in Jesus’ name; forgive them their sins, let Your blood worship them clean; save their souls today, write their names in the book of life and please receive them into the family of God. And I pray from now on anytime they call on You, You will answer them by fire. And pray that they will never go back into the chains of Satan again. Thank You Almighty God.

Now, let us go to Genesis chapter 21 and I am reading from verse 1 to 7 (Genesis 21 verse 1 to 7):

1And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken.

2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

3 And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

4 And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.

5 And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.

6 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

(Somebody here will laugh from now on)

7 And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

 

We are talking about Lifted into Glory.

Inside every man, every woman is a hunger to go higher; everybody wants to go higher.

The students in the University want to graduate;

(Thank God we are anointing our graduands from RUN tonight)

After they get their first degree, about the celebration of about one week or so; they suddenly discovered they were called Mr the day before and they are still Mr now; they were Miss before, they are still Miss;

So they say maybe if I go for PG, then I can become Doctor;

When they get PhD and they are called Doctor and they rejoice;

Until they see a watch repairer who calls himself doctor of watches.

So they said, no, no, no, I better move forward and become a professor.

Until they become Professor and they rejoice for a while;

Until they get to filling station and find out that there is no different between professor and taxi driver at the filling station.

And they said okay if I become VC…

I better stop there.

Everybody wants to go higher:

The single wants to be married;

The married wants to have children;

The mother of children we want to become grandmother;

In the Name that is above every other name, everyone of here today shall be lifted.

As I spoke earlier on, I was talking about sinners being in the hole; but do you know that everyone is in one kind of hole or the other.

Some are in physical hole – they are not dead but they are one leg alive, one leg in the grave.

Some people are socially in a hole – lonely, no friends

Some are maritally in a hole – single or barren or their marriage is hell on earth.

Some people are materially in a hole – no job, no money.

Some are career wise in a hole – they did not have promotion for many years; those who were their junior have been promoted above them.

Some are emotionally in a hole – sad, depressed, and afraid.

Some are spiritually in a hole – backsliding and merely pretending

And then there are some people who are in more than one hole – some are sick and at the same time no friends; no helpers, no promotion, no wife, no children, no job…

There are some people who are so deep in their hole now that when you say happy new year it means nothing to them.

But in the name of the One who called me, no matter how deep your hole, you are coming out today.

As I go ahead when you need to write down a prayer point I will tell you and you will write it down because I want you to do all the praying together tonight.

Are you in a physical hole?

There is someone who can pull you out.

In Mark chapter 3 verse 1 to 5, the Bible talked about a man with a withered hand

If a hand is withered, there is nothing the owner of the hand can do about it

But there is someone who can make the withered hand whole.

Have you an incurable disease?

2Kings chapter 5 from verse 1 to 14, there was nothing Naaman could do about leprosy.

With all his fame, with all his wealth, he was watching helplessly as one finger after the other was dropping off

But there is someone who can lift you out the hole of an incurable disease.

For somebody here the Doctor say there is nothing more we can do for you; he looks for a chair to seat on because he saw himself sinking.

I pray in the Name that is above every other name, if the Doctor had told you there is nothing more they can do, my Father will do something for you.

In John 11 verse 39 to 44, when Jesus got to the tomb of Lazarus, the sister said, this hole is too deep, even You there is nothing you can do about it.

Jesus Christ said let us wait and see.

He spoke a word and the man who had been dead for four days came back to life.

In Ezekiel 37 verse 1 to 10, this God that I serve can make the dry bones live again.

There was a testimony I heard when I was a young Christian:

A boy had an accident and they had to amputate his two legs

And then he had that a man of God was preaching somewhere that God is a miracle worker, there is nothing He cannot do.

So he came to the crusade.

Somehow God directed the attention of the man of God to this boy.

God will direct his attention to you today.

God spoke to the man of God loud and clear and the man of God heard

Occasionally when you hear what God is saying, unless you know is God, it is difficult to announce.

The man of God went down from the altar, stood before the boy and said young man, go and buy yourself a pair of shoes

Haa!

But the boy looked at him are you mocking me; the two legs are gone?

But the boy said, well he came to me out of every one that is around.

And the boy went and bought a pair of shoe.

Came the second day brought the pair of shoe – nothing happen.

The third day – nothing happen

The final day of the crusade, just as the man of God said in the name of Jesus, two brand new legs came out.

That God is still alive today.

I want you to write down your prayer point number one and that is: Father, restore me fully tonight.

Just restore me fully. If there is anything in my body that has gone, restore me fully tonight. We have heard testimonies here; we have testimonies of people without womb, people without fallopian tubes giving birth to children; that God has not change.

Cry to Him when the time comes: to restore you fully.

Are you in a marital hole?

Are you lonely; single?

I have good news for you

Because according to Genesis chapter 2 and you can read it from verse 18 to 23(Genesis 2 verse 18 to 23): God is the original match maker.

Adam did not even know that he needed a wife; it was God’s idea that it is not a good thing for man to be alone.

And you know what?

He has not change.

Malachi 3 verse 6: I AM the Lord I change not.

How do I know He has not change?

It is good news for those of you who are yet to be married; because how am I going to have children if I am not married;

I am believing God that before the end of the year you will sing a new song.

In Genesis 24 from verse 1 to the end, the Bible tells us about how Abraham sent his servant to go and get a wife for Isaac;

Isaac did not even know that his father had made a plan

But what I find so interesting in that story was that when the servant got to a well, he prayed a prayer:

O God of my master, I am going to seat by this well, among all the girls that will come here to fetch water, anyone I say to please give me water to drink and she would say I will give you water to drink, I will even give to your camel, let her be the one You have chosen.

Read that passage, before he finished praying the girl God has chosen came because God arrange everything.

Whoever is going to be your partner sent from heaven, in the Name that is above every other name, even before the end of this month that fellow will show up.

O may be you are married but you have been trusting God for the fruit of the womb and nothing has happened yet

He wiped away the tears of Hannah – 1Samuel chapter 1 verse 9 to 20

1Samuel chapter 1 verse 9 to 20 - the Bible said Hannah wept sorrow but that was the last time she wept.

And I am believing God that there is someone here who had been weeping every month, the last you wept that is the last time you will ever weep.

In Genesis 18 verse 9 to 14, when God said to Abraham that Sarah is going to have a son, Sarah laughed;

It was laughter of mockery.

By the time we got to Genesis 21 it was no longer a laughter of mockery, it was a laughter of joy; because as we are being told, old age is no barrier to end.

There are so many stories I can tell you; many of them you have heard again and again.

You have heard of someone here today, barren for ten years, barren for eight years, barren for twenty-two year;

I told you last month or month before, one of my daughters in Britain who was barren for thirty-eight years;

That God who answers all these people will answer you also.

And so write down your prayer number two and say: Father, put a new song of joy in my mouth this month.

Be specific.

Father, put a new song of joy in my mouth this month.

Are you in a material hole - down to next to nothing?

1Kings chapter 17 verse 8 to 16,

Thank You Father

Daddy says I carried Israel out of Egypt on eagle’s wings, I will carry you out.

Amen and amen

Daddy asks me to tell someone, He said Hannah ask for child, she ended up with six; He asked me to tell you what I did for Hannah is what I AM going to do for you.

In 1Kings chapter 17 verse 8 to 16, the widow of Zarephath was down to the last meal but God was on time.

In 2Kings chapter 4 from verse 1 to 7, the other widow of son of the prophet was not even just down to the last meal, the creditors were closing in; he wanted to sell his children.

Not just poor but heavily in debt.

There are some people who are heavily in debt and they don’t even know how they can pay.

There is someone who can lift you out of debt; that God is still here.

In 2Kings chapter 7 verse 1 to 11 - this God I am talking about can lift a siege in less than 24 hours.

Things were so bad in the city, people were eating their children, when the man of God spoke and said by this time tomorrow there will be abundance.

Let me decree into the life of someone; before you return next month you will be debt free.

How is it going to happen?

Never you try to figure out God with your brain - I have said it before.

Once He decides to do something He will do it.

I will remind you of the story of one of my sons

I was at the University of Ilorin, I just moved from University of Lagos; they gave me a mansion and it has so many electrical problems;

So, this my son who was electrician came and help me fixed everything.

When he finished I said okay what am I going to pay?

He said Daddy, how can I charge you?

There is only one thing I want you to do for me, I don’t have money to travel back – nothing at all – just give me transport money and pray for me.

I gave him transport money and I told him you don’t need prayer and I said God will bless you.

You see, some people don’t understand when I say God will bless you

Many times when I am going for walking at night and I will see some people running towards me and I know they want help; I will turn to them, lift my hand and say God bless you.

They will say amen and they will still come and say pray for me.

Haa!

When I say God bless you

That means the Almighty God will summon all the forces in heaven and on earth to assist you.

May God bless you.

So my son left Ilorin and took public transport, arrived at Oyingbo or so – somewhere there in Ebute-Metta;

As he was coming down from the lorry or bus and he saw his classmate that they are not seeing for year:

Haa! hello! Long time no see!

What are you doing now?

I am an electrician

And you?

I am working at Dodan Barrack

Haa, that is very good.

But the friend said to him come and see me tomorrow.

He left me with God bless you some hours before; he arrived; met a friend he has not seen from a long time; and that one say see me at Dodan barracks tomorrow.

One week later I saw my son riding a brand new car.

Write down your prayer number two: Father, turn the tide for me tonight.

Turn the tide for me! This very moment turn the tide. Pull me out of poverty on a permanent basis.

Are you in a hole socially?

Are you a total failure?

The Almighty God can move you to a new level today!

In Luke chapter 5 from verse 9 to 11, Peter was in total failure - fished all night, caught nothing; but within an hour a total failure had been moved to a totally new level.

In Genesis 26 from verse 1 to 14,

Thank You Father.

I want to say amen to this one before I tell you.

Because Daddy says there is someone here tonight who will very soon say Lord I have enough.

I don’t know enough of what.

Maybe enough of children; maybe enough of money; may be enough of health – somebody would soon say Lord I have enough.

If you are that one let me hear you shout hallelujah.

In Genesis 26 from verse 1 to 14, it was in the midst of a famine, serious famine that Isaac became the envy of a nation.

Years ago when I was studying that part of the scriptures, God pointed out something to me and said stars are seen only in the night; when everything is dark that is when stars begin to shine.

I prophesy to someone today, irrespective of what the economy of the nation may be saying, you will shine.

In 2Samuel chapter 6 verse from verse 9 to 13, the Bible tells us a story: David was about to bring the ark of covenant into Jerusalem, an accident happened on the way – somebody touched the ark that should not  touch it and die;

And David said I cannot take the Ark of the Covenant to my house.

So he took it to the house of Obededom; he said Obededom the Gittite – if he can die let him die; it does not matter because Obededom was nobody.

But within three months, Obededom became the talk of the town.

As the God who sent me lives, there is somebody here before December you will become famous.

You know it takes only one miracle, just one miracle for you to become known.

About the grace of God next month I will bring that my daughter her and let her come and tell her story herself;

I am sure you read about her;

Who just went with nestle and miracles began to happen and it took policemen to rescue her from those who wanted to touch her.

When she woke up that morning she did not know she is going to become the talk of the town.

And that God who did that one for her will surprise you also.

I have told you the story of one of my sons here:

When he was very young, strong boy, will come to church at Ebute Metta and give me one naira every Sunday

And as little as he was he would prophesy and say: Daddy I will buy you a jet.

And I will say amen and touch him on the head and say God bless you my son.

You are going to buy me a jet – one, one naira!

Then after sometime I did not see him for awhile

Where is my one one naira boy?

He has grown and left.

And one day after one programme in London, he came:

Do you remember me?

The face looks familiar

I am your one one naira boy

Haa!

How are you?

He said I am not able to buy you a jet yet but I have a gift for you.

I said good

Where is the gift?

He said you have to come outside to see.

What kind of gift is this that cannot be carried into my office?

I went outside and I saw a Mercedes X-class.

He said I am on my way!

There is somebody here tonight; everything your heart desire to do for God, God will make it easy for you.

Write down your prayer number four

Prayer number four: Father, turn my life to a major testimony.

But then like I said, there are some people…

Thank You Father

The Lord said there is someone here tonight, He said from now on on a daily basis I will draw you closer and closer and closer to Me.

That must be me.

Are you in many holes, not just one?

Like the man in John chapter 5 from verse 2 to 9 – is the man who had been sick by the pool of Bethesda for thirty-eight years

If a man had been sick for thirty-eight years is in the hole; particularly there was no doctor who could heal him anywhere that was why he was at the pool of Bethesda waiting for angel.

It does matter how long you have been sick, it does not matter how bad the sickness, there is someone still called the Great Physicians – is name is Jesus.

He can single you out of a crowd, like he did for that man and He healed him.

The man was not only in a physical hole, he was in a material hole – he has not work for thirty-eight year and so you know he must be begging for food

He was lonely, he was in social hole – he said I had not help, nobody to help me;

Nobody needs to tell you that he had no wife, no children.

In a single moment, no matter how many holes are yours, the Almighty God can pull you out of them all.

He can silence your mockers

Because one of the beautiful thing about the story of Sarah was in Genesis chapter 16 verse 1 to 4, when she discover that she was not bearing children for Abraham she asked Abraham to take househelp

And as soon as the househelp became pregnant, the Bible said she began to mock her mistress.

You see the difference here: you are called the mistress of the house; here I am just a bond woman but look at my belly;

But when God made Sarah laugh, the mockers ceased.

Everyone who has been mocking you will soon be celebrating with you.

I am sure you will remember the story of one we went to Akure for a congress;

We finished the congress and everybody was going home, we were rejoicing, we had a wonderful time;

And there was this man who blocked my way and say Sir, you are not going anywhere, you must hear my problem.

Okay, what is your problem?

He was fairly rich man; he had a factory and for one reason or other all the engines factories broke done and everything they could to start them failed and so he ran into debt

He became so heavy in debt that when he friends saw him coming they ran.

They ran because they are not asking for what he owes them, they are running so that he won’t be able to borrow more.

And then things got so bad, there were no food in the house and then no food for the children;

At a stage the wife could no longer take it because the children were always crying for food and the wife became mentally deranged so they had to take her to one local herbalist for treatment because the man had no money to take her to any hospital.

He said that is my story.

I said in that case stretch out your hands

He stretched out his hands

I lay my hands on his hands and I prayed.

When you get home lay the hands on whatever.

He went home, he laid his hand on the machine, they jumped, and they began to work.

Haa!

This thing is working!

He ran to where that wife was, laid his hand on the wife

The wife yawned as if somebody was waking her up from a sleep;

She said what am I doing here?

Haa!

The next time I saw him he was riding a brand new car

Today he is the traditional head of his town

From zero the Almighty God moved him to the throne.

Write down your next prayer point and it is this: Father just lift me up into glory using any method You want. Any method You want to lift me into glory, just lift me up into glory.

And now, lifting is in categories because holes are in categories.

When you look at Genesis chapter 30 from verse 1 to 2, 22 to 24, we have the case of husband is young and wife is young it is just that the wife is barren;

So the two of them are young, their own hole was not very deep.

By the time you get to 2Kings chapter 4 from verse 8 to 17, the husband is old; it is the wife who was not so old but the husband was old;

So their own hole was deeper than the case of husband is young, wife is young.

In Genesis 18 from verse 9 to 14 – Abraham and Sarah – husband was old, the wife was old; their own hole was deeper still.

And then in Luke chapter 7 verse 11 to 16, the husband was dead and the only son of the family was dead - that as deep as they could go

But there is someone with the everlasting arm, no matter how deep your hole may be, He will bring you up.

I don’t want to tell you many stories tonight because I want you to prayer because you will pray in a moment

So, I want you to write down your own prayer point, the next prayer point and that is: Father, prove Your Almightiness in my life tonight. Prove Your Almightiness in my life tonight because the Bible says in Jeremiah…

Because we need to learning it quickly

Because God says by this time next year that is the song somebody will be singing.

…Jeremiah 32 verse 27, the Bible says the Almighty God asked a question, He said behold I AM the God of all flesh, is anything too hard for Me?

So, in the Name that is above every other name, your own will not be too hard for God.       

That is while your prayer will be God just prove Your Almightiness in my life.

Let me conclude so you can pray.

Those who came to the Divine Encounter on Monday I told them the story in 2Kings chapter 4 verse 1 to 7;

It will be a good idea if you get the tape.

The point I made for them there is this:

If somebody falls into a hole, deep hole and he cannot get out by himself, the first thing that fellow needs to do is cry; cry until somebody can hear.

Because if you are in a hole and you keep quiet, everybody will be passing by and they won’t even know you are in the hole.

After the fellow had cried and somebody had heard;

The fellow can come, look down and say haa, there is somebody down there

Okay; hold on, I will come and help you

And then he goes to get a rope and throws the rope down to you and then he will tell you what do with the rope:

He may say tie the rope round your waist two times, do it this way, do it that way, and then hold on so that I can pull you out.

That is after you have cried and somebody who wants to help you have heard;

You must hearken diligently to what he says, listen to the instruction he gives and then do exactly as he says – you must pay attention to details.

That widow, the son of the prophet, she was told in details: go, borrow empty vessels, borrow not a few, shut the door on you and your sons, begin to pour out the oil and set aside that which is full.

She followed the details.

And I told them for example maybe you saw some people clapping when they said it is offering – they learnt it on Monday.

I told them a story of when I went to a church somewhere abroad

As soon as I enter the church I knew God has blessed these people, everyone there they were all looking prosperous.

I was wondering haha I will not serving the same God

But then they say, as the service went on, and as soon as they say offering time

Oh!

They all began to rejoice!

They all began to clap!

And God spoke to me, you see that is their secret; they are not treating Me as a beggar.

Because He said in His word, God loves the cheerful giver.

Among my people when we say it is offering time, some people think O God they have come again.

No, no, this people got excited: they began to shout, they began to clap, they were rejoicing; God said they are not treating Me as a beggar.

Details!

And then finally, that woman came back to testify.

There are many of us here who have many testimonies and we have never shared one; that is why God is not lifting us higher.

Because when God gives you a miracle and you keep quiet about it then there is no need for Him to give you a second one and yet we can go higher than where we are.

There is nobody among us who is already too high.

I believe deeply within me that the Almighty God chose this particular theme for the beginning of our new year because He has made up His to promote some people.

Who will be the first to be promoted?

Let me hear you shout hallelujah.

So your last prayer point will be: Father, hear my cry tonight.

Because if He hears you cry and He drops His rope to you, by the time He is pulling you out because His arms are everlasting He will keep on lifting you and lifting you and lifting you.

I have given the illustration before: if a man is the one lifting you, how high he can lift you is determined by how tall he his;

How high this tambourine can go is determined by how tall I am;

If I like I can go on my toes to lift it higher but after sometimes my toes will be paining me then I go back and it will come back

After some time my hand will heavy and then the tambourine will begin to go down;

After some time I am tired of standing and I go and seat down and the tambourine will be going down.

But if God is the One lifting you, you will be going higher and higher and higher until you get into glory.

When you get into glory then you will discover glory is in categories.

There is a category of the glory of Sun; there is a category of the glory of Moon, there is a category of the glory of the Stars

And stars even differ from stars in glory.

It doesn’t matter how high you are now, you can go higher still.

The altar is open

I am going to give you twenty minutes because all your prayer points are going to be taking together now.

Come and cry to God.

The prayer of tonight is not the prayer of ladies and gentlemen. A man who is in a hole must cry loud and clear so that the one who can help him would hear the cry. Come and cry to the Almighty God. Cry to Him. Take all your prayer point that you have written down and begin to cry to the Almighty God for the next twenty minutes. Cry to Him and I can assure you He will lift you up tonight and lift you into glory.

Go ahead talk to the Almighty God.

If the fellow next to you wants to pray quietly that is no problem; that is their own concern; maybe they are not in need of a lifting; you need a lifting cry let God hear you.
