Let us lift our hands to the Most High God

Let us give Him glory, let us give Him honour; let us give adoration

Worship the King of kings and the Lord of lords

Worship the Ancient of days;

Worship the Father of all fathers, the Father of the fatherless, the Lover of children;

Give Him glory, give Him honour

The only One who does not change;

The only One who does not grow old;

The only One who lives forever

Let us bless His holy name

Let us give Him glory, let us give honour; let us magnify His holy name.

Thank You Father.

In Jesus mighty name we worship.

Let us lift our voice to God and say: Father, as we bring Your children to You tonight, let Your power come down and chase away evil from these children.

Go ahead talk to the Almighty God.

We brought Your children to You tonight Lord God Almighty let the fire of the holy Spirit come down and chase away any form of evil from these Your children. Thank You Father. Glory be to Your Holy name.

In Jesus might name we have prayed.

Almighty God, King of kings, Lord of lords, the Father of the fatherless, the original Father, we worship You, accept our worship in Jesus’ name. Tonight our Father and our God is a very special night for Your children and I pray Lord God Almighty that by the auction of the Holy Spirit, by the auction of the anointing that will be coming upon these children tonight, You will make them too hot for the enemy to handle. If there be any sickness, any diseases on any of these children, by the auction of the anointing let such sickness and diseases be roasted. For all these Your children my Father and my God from this moment onward let them begin to shine. And I commit all their parents, all their teachers, all those had already minister tonight either in music, in drama, in recitation, and all those who had prepared them for this particular occasion, I ask Lord God Almighty that every one of the will shine brighter.

Since we are all children in your hands my Father and my God bless every one of us mightily tonight. And all over the world where Your children are watching, keying into this service, everywhere they may be Lord God Almighty let the blessings of tonight reach out to them. Thank You for the wonderful testimonies we have heard and before tomorrow morning let there be greater ones.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Let someone shout hallelujah

Shake hands with one or two people and say your Excellency I am born to shine.

And then you may please be seated.

First of all we want to talk to those who are yet to give their lives to Jesus Christ because we don’t want them to miss the blessing of tonight.

And for those people I will be talking to you from Luke chapter 7 from verse 36 to 48:

36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.

37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,

38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.

40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.

41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.

42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.

45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.

46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

Last month when we are talking about the various steps you have to take if you want to swim in glory; we mentioned specifically five major things:

Number one - you must be convinced that no doubt you can swim in glory; you can.

Number two – you must move from ‘I can’ to ‘I will’.

And then number three – you must make up your mind that nobody is going to stop you.

Then number four – I must make contact with Jesus Christ the Light.

And then number five – the world will hear my testimony.

In the story I have just read to you, you will see a woman who follow those steps.

The Bible said she was a sinner, the whole city knew her to be a sinner; even sinners called her sinner.

In Mathematics will would have called that woman sinner squared; she was a sinner among sinners.

But one day she just made up her mind I am not going to die a sinner; I am going to shine; she said I can, and then she said I will not just stop with I can, I will.

So she grabbed a box of oil - very precious; headed for where Jesus Christ was seating;

She knew everybody in the city knew, she knew they will be already talking when she was coming to Jesus: hey, what is this woman doing here?

Doesn’t she know that this is not the house for harlot?

She refused to be stopped.

And then she made contact to with Jesus Christ.

She was too bad even in her own estimation to come in from the front, so she came from behind and fell at the feet of Jesus Christ and began to weep and began to was His feet with her tears;

And the hair on her head, the very glory of a woman, she use it to wipe the feet and kissed His feet;

And the oil, precious oil that she brought she poured it on the head of the Lord Jesus Christ;

That day the Almighty God turned to her and said, Daughter, your sins which her many have forgiven you.

Today we are still reading about her.

There are some of us who are here today everybody knows us as a sinner, even we our self we know;

There some of us here today we are still lying, we are still cheating, we are still doing all manners of terrible things.

When they invited us her, we came because we have heard testimonies, miracles happened,so let us go and see if we can get miracle;

But God brought you here so that He can save your soul.

No matter how terrible your sins had been, you can still shine for God.

The worst of all sinners can still become a great saint.

This woman decided I am coming out of the darkness of my past into the light of the Almighty God;

She decide she can;

She decide that she would;

She refused to allow the option of anybody to stop her and she made contact with Jesus.

At the end of the day everybody in the gathering was focusing on the woman because the Almighty God said woman, you are forgiven.

I don’t know who you are, I don’t know what sins you have committed, I don’t know how bad you have been you can still shine for God.

And in the mighty name of Jesus Christ you will provided you will not allow the option of others to stop you; provided you will accept the invitation of Jesus Christ today who said come unto to Me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

If you will come to Him, He will receive you.

I don’t have time to go into details but I have told some of you before:

If Adeboye had been Jesus he would not have saved this present Adeboye; I knew it how bad I was, I don’t need to tell you details it does not matter; it is none of your business anyway.

But if God can save my soul and turned me into a vessel unto honour in His hands He can do the same for you but the choice is yours.

You can if you will make up your mind to say tonight we be my night I am going to Jesus even if my friends looked at me and say we thought you are a good man and you will say ehen live that one alone I want to give my life to Jesus it is none of your business; it is my live I want to surrender it to Jesus.

If you would come to Jesus tonight one day we will be hearing your testimony.

So I am going to count from one to ten and so those of you who want to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ before I say ten come and stand before me here.

It is your choice; it does not matter how bad you had been, Jesus can turn you around because His blood cleanses from all sins.

The same Jesus that saved my soul can save your soul tonight.

So I am counting now:

One, two,

I know some of you are far away so you will have to move as fast as possible.

Let Jesus see you, run into Him; He will save your soul. He said anyone who will come unto me I will no wise cast out. So if you come to Him, He will receive you, He will wash you clean with His blood and He will turn you into a brand new creature.

Three,

Thank you those of you who are clapping, you will have something to clap for before the end of this month.

Four,

O yes His blood cleanses from all sins; all you need to do is come to Him, come and make contact with Him and your story will become a testimony.

Five,

Keep clapping your hands will never withered.

Six,

Glory be to God

Keep coming, keep coming, I know He brought you here to save your soul. I rejoice with you because you have taking a wonderful decision.

Seven,

Keep coming, keep coming, keep coming. Glory be to God. Keep coming.

Eight,

Yes, I know this is your day. I know you can shine, I know you will shine, I know nothing is going to stop you now because you have decided to come in contact with the light of the world, Jesus Himself. Keep coming, keep coming.

Nine,

Thank you.

Now, those of you who are already on the way and those of you who are already in front talk to the Almighty Jesus, tell Him I have come to You save my soul, forgive all my sins and I will serve you for the rest of my life. I have chosen to come out of darkness into your marvelous light, have mercy on me, save my soul.

The rest of us please let us stretch our hands towards this our brothers and sisters and plead with God for them that God who saved our souls will save their souls also. Intercede for them brethren. Those of you on the way don’t stop just keep coming and make sure you get before I finished praying. I know you came from a long distance but keep coming. Glory be to God. Pray as you come along; ask that Jesus have mercy on you, ask Him to save your soul; ask Him to forgive all your sins; promise Him that from now on you will become His child,  that you will obey Him, that you will say bye bye to darkness; welcome to light.

Keep coming, keep coming, I can still see some of you far away; about to pray now, just make sure you get here before I finish praying. Thank You Father.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Savior we want to give You all glory and honour for Your word; we want to thank You for these Your children that have come forward to surrender their lives to You; Father, please remember Your promise that whosoever will come unto You, You will no wise cast out, they have come to You now Father please receive them in Jesus’ name; let Your blood wash away their sins in Jesus’ name; save their souls; write their names in the book of life; receive them into the family of God and please Lord don’t let them ever backslide; for the rest of their lives let them serve You and anytime from now on they call on You please answer them by fire.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Amen.

Now I want to rejoice with you those of you who have come forward to surrender their lives today; I want to assure you that by the grace of God from now on I will be praying for you.

So I will be needing your names, your address and your prayer request.

Some Counselors will come near you and give you some cards to fill;

Fill the card very quickly and return to them and then go back to your seat.

And I promise you we will be praying for you from now.

Born to Shine!

Genesis 37 from verse 3 to 11

I just want to talk about Joseph even though my children had gone ahead and dramatized everything; that was a beautiful drama.

I want to talk about Born to Shine even though my children had preached everything that anyone could say – what you need to shine; what you must not do if you want to keep on shinning; etcetera, etcetera.

Genesis 37 from verse 3 to 11:

3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.

4 And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.

6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed:

7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.

8 And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?

11 And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

Everyone of you children here tonight you will be greater than your parents.

I repeat it one more time

Every child here tonight, in the Name that is above every other name, you will be greater than your parent.

Joseph was classical example of someone born to shine; even as a child it shown among his brethren.

Then he had a glimpse of his future and childishly he announced it and war began.

I pray for every child here today, every enemy of your destiny shall be subdue.

By the time we go to Genesis 37 from verse 18 to 20, his brothers saw him coming and he was bringing them food and they say hey behold the dreamer cometh let us kill him and let see what will become of his dreams.

In the name of the One who called me everyone who tries to kill your dream shall help you to fulfill it.

Because light always wins; we will be discussing that in greater details next month.

Very briefly tonight let me just add this to what you have already learnt from my wonderful children;

That it does not matter what the enemy may try if you are born to shine you will shine.

Why?

Because the counsel of shall stand.

Oh, let me decree one more time, the purpose of God for your life shall be fulfill.

In Genesis 37 from verse 23 to 28, they thrown Joseph into the pit;

And even in the pit he shown.

If the enemy throws you into the pit you will shine there.

Why?

Number one – because there is no pit so deep that is beyond the everlasting arms of God.

Deuteronomy 33 verse 27 says underneath are the everlasting arms.

It does not matter how far the enemies try to throw you, the everlasting arms are always underneath and ready to receive you.

Number two – because God knows the end from the beginning according to Acts 15 verse 18

God knew they were going to throw this boy into the pit so God went ahead and make sure that the pit was dried.

You know, when you read Psalm 23 verse 1 and 2 that says the Lord is my shepherd I shall not want; He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; and He leadeth me beside still waters

Bible scholars said He leadeth me beside still water that had been still

Before He takes you to the river to drink, He will make sure He had already still the waters.

If anybody throws you into a pit, God will see to it that the pit is dry.

He will also see to it (Number three) that they will not bury you alive.

You see, they threw him into the pit, they wanted to kill him; once he is in the pit why don’t they cover the pit?

Because the Almighty God in His infinite wisdom has make sure that only the enemies of God will be buried alive.

Numbers chapter 16 from verse 25 to 33, it is the enemies of God that were buried alive not His children.

So they threw him into the pit, the pit was dry, they did not buried him alive.

And so, as long as you are still breathing you will come out of that pit.

Why?

Because Ecclesiastes chapter 9 verse 4 says as long as you are still alive there is hope because a living dog is better than a dead lion.

They may have thrown you into a pit but you will come out tonight.

All you have to do to seal that is to shout a very big Jesus.

I have told you this story before; I don’t have time to tell you too many stories tonight but some of you never heard this before.

Among the many attempts that the devil had made to kill me even when I was very little, was one that came to my mind when I was preparing this sermon.

When I was very very young the white people were ruling us and then if a white man should kill your child with his vehicle, you will be the one who will be arrested for being careless.

So in my village they were coming to dig for gold and then one day my eldest sister and myself we were coming from the farm and coming to town center;

And all of a sudden we heard the sound of a car coming and by the time we knew what was happening; and the road was very narrow; before we knew what was happening the white man had appeared in his car and the car was coming at speed.

My eldest sister grabbed me and jumped out of the road and we landed in a pit; one of the abandoned pits where they had dug gold;

 And my heart was pounding, thanking God that we escaped from the killing that would had been my lot then.

But all of a sudden we heard a sound and was the whistling of a snake; one black very poisonous snake was in the pit that we jumped into; we went to disturbed it.

My heart stopped beating – I mean I just froze; my sister herself froze

And the snake looked at us as intruders

But because we were so still, angrily he crowed out of the pit and walked away.

I am still here today by the special grace of God.

If you know you are born to shine, let me here you shout Jesus.

Then by the time you get to Genesis 39 verse 1 to 6, they sold Joseph into slavery

But when he got to the place where they sold him he began to shine and the house of Potiphar a slave became the Managing Director.

Nobody who is in Christ can be a slave.

Because the Bible says in John chapter 8 verse 32 and 36: you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free; and whomsoever the son shall set free shall be free indeed.

So if they say they have sold you into slavery let them know that it is written in Matthew chapter 6 verse 24 – no man can serve to masters.

If you are already serving Jesus Christ you are not the slave of anybody else; you have a new owner.

The Bible made is clear according to 1Corinthians chapter 6 verse 19 to 20 – He said you are no longer your own; the moment you surrender yourself to Jesus you are no longer your own, you have a new master.

And anyone who tried to keep you in slavery will have to deal with your new master and your new master has a name that is above every other name that at is name every knee must bow.

I must tell you the story, you need to hear this one; we heard the testimony several years ago.

There was a man married to a woman, very wealthy well-to-do man and the woman wanted to control him…;

Don’t look at your wife o, your wife is a Christian

…and so she went to a witch doctor and the witch doctor made for her a very special basket, germ basket, with a lead;

And told the woman just put the picture of your husband inside the basket; as long as the lead is inside the basket whatever you ask him to do that is what he is going to do.

But occasionally when you begin to see him becoming sluggish you must open the basket a little so that he can breathe otherwise he will become completely imbecile

So she was doing that.

Anytime the man begin to ask questions she will close the basket;

When he is becoming dangerous she will open the basket.

On one of the occasion she opens the basket the husband heard the gospel and gave is life to Jesus Christ.

After that the woman closed the basket, the man just would not be head bound anymore.

Suddenly the man came in and said wait a minute I am the head of this family how can I be a slave in my own house?

So the woman ran to the witch doctor and say I don’t know what happen to my husband?

She said he had given his life to Jesus, etcetera

Can you do something?

The witch doctor said a higher power has taking him away from me.

If you want a higher power to take you beyond anybody who want to hold you captive let me hear you shout Jesus.

Then they threw Joseph into prison

In Genesis chapter39 from verse 20 to 23…

Oh thank You Father.

Thank You very much Lord.

Thank You Lord.

The Lord asks me to tell someone, He said the happenings around you now are design to make your foundation deeper so that your tower can grow higher.

So they took Joseph into prison because he refused to compromise; he refused to committee adultery with the wife of his master.

But the Bible said even in prison he was put in charge.

He shown in the pit; he shown as a slave; he shown as a prisoner

If you belong to Christ nobody can keep you in prison.

Why?

If they put in prison they will come and bring you out because there is no door that can hinder the Door – you know the name of Jesus Christ is the Door.

There is no prison door that can keep the Door Himself out

And no matter how terrible the situation he will make a way out.

In John chapter 4 verse 6, He said I AM the Way.

So if there is anyone of you in any prison whatsoever, tonight you are coming out of prison.

I mean you know the story in Acts 15 from verse 25 all the way to 40 (Acts 15 verse 25 to 40), they put Paul and Silas in prison, they shown there because at night they began to sing and to praise God and God send an earthquake.

O there was a testimony of  a friend of mine that some of you will remember

Just like that beautiful testimony of that girl that Jesus just appears to and began to perform all manners of miracle in her life.

There was this my friend a major General and a committed Muslim, absolutely committed;

When we were talking and we were discussing the issue of salvation, how did you get saved?

He said nobody preached to me.

He said I had a dream and in the dream I was in a room on a mat praying;

All of a sudden I saw the walls of the room closing in, closing in, closing in, until there was very little room left for me.

He said I wanted to shout for help and instead of saying help, what came out of my mouth was Jesus and suddenly the wall fell.

He said I don’t need any more preaching, somebody had brought me out of prison.

Let me hear somebody shout Jesus.

I am trying to hurry.

It was while Joseph was in prison that is promotion began.

He was a dreamer by the time he got to prison, before he left prison he had become interpreter of dreams.

For every one of you here tonight, this very day your promotion begins.

And so when the need came in the palace in Genesis chapter 41 from verse 1 to 44, a king had two dreams that he could not understand;

Haa! I pray for somebody here tonight, the one that God will use to fulfill your destiny will have a dream tonight.

So they sent for Joseph and in the palace he shown – Genesis 41 verse 1 to 44.

He had become interpreter of dreams and when the Almighty God who controls the heart of kings (Proverbs 21 verse 1);

When the One who controls the heart of kings like rivers of waters when He is on your side, He can even cause kings to bow down to you – read it in Daniel chapter 2 verse 1 to 49.

When you are born to shine, anywhere you are, even in the palace you will shine

Because to shine mean to excel, to be better than all others as in the case of Daniel

Read about him in Daniel chapter 6 from verse 1 to 3

The Bible tells us that among the three Presidents that were chosen by the king to oversee all others Daniel excels.

I am praying for every one of you particularly you children, in the mighty name of Jesus in every area of your life you will excel.

Well let me close because you know we still have a lot to do and if there is anything I jumped we will bring it in the future.

You know the greatest thing for those of us who are Christians is not only that we can shine in the pit, we can shine in slavery, we can shine in prison, we can shine in palace; the greatest thing is that we are going to shine before the King of kings – O that is the greatest thing of all.

Because a day is coming according to Matthew chapter 25…

Thank You Father.

The Lord says among the children who are her tonight are going to be many Nobel Peace Prize winners.

Thank You Daddy.

The Lord asks me to tell a woman, He said you came here tonight reluctantly because you have no child, He asked me to tell you your Samuel is coming.

Thank You Father.

Let me say amen to this one before I tell you.

The Lord says there is someone here tonight, He asked me to tell you relax because your light can only grow brighter.

According to Matthew 25 verse 14 to 46, the Bible made it clear that a day is coming when the King of kings Himself will be saying to some of us well-done.

When that day comes you will be one of the people who will hear from Almighty well-done.

You see, the Bible says in Proverbs chapter 4 verse 18, He said the path of the Just is as the shining light that shines more and more and more (thank God for the prophesy)

It does not matter whether the enemies’ likes it or not our light will only grow brighter.

Daniel chapter 12 verse 3 says that they that be white shall shine and the brightness of the firmament and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.

What must I do so that I will even be shinning before the King of kings?

What you need to do is just keep on winning souls.

Because Proverbs chapter 11 verse 30 says he that winneth souls is wise.

If you are already a child of God believe me honestly you are born to shine.

You can shine, you will shine; nobody will be able to stop you, you will shine even before kings and you will shine before the King of kings.

Let me hear you shout Jesus one more time.

We want to pray for only fifteen minutes so that we can have time to do the anointing.

I want you to write down the following prayer points; you need to pray them because they are very important.

Number one: You will praise God for at least you are still alive; you have not been buried alive; so thank the Almighty God that your tomorrow will still be alright.

Number two: You are going to pray for every member of your family. You are going to say: Father, any member of my family that is in a pit right now, pull them out. Any member of my family that might still be in darkness or sin or sickness or sorrow, pull them out.

Number three: You will say Father if there is any of my family that is still in bondage set them free tonight. You are the Lord of Host, any of my family that might still be in bondage, tonight, set him or her free.

Number four: If there is any member of my family that is still in prison, any form of prison whatsoever, tonight send an earthquake and force open the prison doors.

Number five: Any one Father who will help my destiny visit them tonight so that they will send for me very soon.

Number six: Father in Your kingdom let me shine; let me shine from here all the way to glory.

Tonight if you brought little children with you please stay with them, pray your prayer where you are.

But you if you have not brought little children, you want to come to the altar to pray you are welcome.

Only fifteen minutes we want to cry to the Almighty God concerning the points we have raised.

Any member of my family in a pit pulls them out; any member of my family in bondage set them free; any member of my family in prison, send an earthquake and force open the prison doors so that they can be free; anyone who will help my destiny visit them tonight; Lord God Almighty let me keep on shinning day by day till I see You in glory and let me shine in Your kingdom.

Let us go ahead and talk to the Almighty God.

Go ahead talk to Him.

Thank You Jesus.

Glory be to Your name.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Every member of your family that may be in any form of pit shall be delivered tonight. Any member of your family no matter how far gone that might be in any form of bondage they shall be set free tonight. Any prison round you, round your family, round those who are special to you, this very night the Almighty God that I serve will send an earthquake and the prison door shall be open and before the sun rises every member of your family shall be free. All those who will help you reach your goal God will visit them tonight. You will testify before the end of this month and you will keep on shinning; even in the kingdom of God you will shine. God will make it easy for you to win souls; you will not backslide.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Amen.

Let me hear somebody shout a shinning hallelujah.
