Let somebody shout a big 'alleluia!' (Alleluia!) Amen!

Now something is about to happen now that is going to bring about a dramatic change to your life. (Amen!)

The Lord asked me to tell you Shake hands with about seven people and say to them: Happy New Year! Happy New Year! Happy New Year! Happy New Year! Happy New Year! Happy New Year! Happy New Year! O Lord! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Jesus! Alleluia! Oh Thank You Jesus!.

Thank You Jesus! Thank You Lord! The Lord said there is someone here tonight, He said those who have been trying to capture you, have been captured. (Amen!) Thank You Jesus! Thank You Lord! Alleluia!

Let's just lift our hands to the Almighty God! Let us glorify His holy Name! Father, we bless Your Name! Father, we worship You! We give You all glory! We give You all honour! We give You all adoration! Thank You Lord! Thank You Lord! Thank You! Ancient of Days! Blessed be Your Holy Name Lord! Blessed be Your Holy Name Lord! Thank You!! Thank You!! Thank You!! For those of you who might not be aware, we are here tonight just to praise God! The band“ band don't go yet! Come back! Come back! …… I shared with the senior Pastors just before we came, the Lord told me, as I was coming down from my prayer room. He said the widow of the son of the prophet that we read about in 2 Kings 4:1-7 for years was reeling under the heavy burden of debt. Now all the time what she needs for her breakthrough was in her house. But her eyes were closed. Until the day of her breakthrough when that day came suddenly her eyes were opened. She saw the only thing she needed for her breakthrough. He said I should let you know that one thing had been missing - something that was there but you didn't see it. But now the time of our ultimate breakthrough has come. (Amen!)

He has opened our eyes to see that in all these years that we've been having the Holy Ghost Service - all 20 years“ all we have been doing is asking and asking and asking. But the time has come now that's why the Almighty God opened our eyes that we should have a special Holy Ghost Service for thanksgiving from tonight onwards now.

Turn to your neighbour and say Happy New Year! Happy New Year!

Everything is going to become new. (Amen!) in your life (Amen!) in your home (Amen!) in your business (Amen!) in your church (Amen!) even in this nation (Amen!) Everything will become new! (Amen!) If you believe that let me hear you shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)

I'm not going to preach a long sermon tonight. We'll come back again maybe later on to share a little bit but I just want to talk about some of the various ways in which we praise God.

Get ready to dance your way throughout tonight! You won't die before tomorrow morning. (Amen!) One of the ways we praise God is by singing. Psalm 89:1 I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever, I will sing of the mercies of the Lord……. When you want to praise Him learn to sing. He wants to hear you sing. If the Almighty God in His infinite mercy did not make you dumb, learn to sing.

Second way we praise Him is by clapping  Glory be to God! Psalm 47:1 says clap your hands all ye people. Nobody is left out. Everybody clap your hands! The Bible says that trees because they can't speak like you, they clap their hands. Trees clap their hands which means if you refuse to clap for the Almighty God trees will clap their hands“ the trees will clap their hands.

The Bible says that the floods, the waves of the sea, when you see them rising and falling, rising and falling, what are they doing? They are clapping their hands. The Bible says the floods clap their hands and I think I have told some of you before, that when you are clapping your hands for God you are telling Him I will cooperate with You. That's what it means. How many of you are ready to cooperate with the Almighty God? Let me see you put your hands together for the Almighty God! Alleluia! (Amen!)

Now I remember I told some of you long ago, I said one day the hands woke up and heard the bird singing and they wanted to sing too, to God and they moved the fingers and no sound came. So by accident they discovered that if two fingers cooperate they produce some sound. (Amen!) And so they started this way. If you lift your left hand – if you can lift your hand thank God that you can lift it! If you lift your left hand, I want you to start by tapping that hand with one finger on your right. Increase it to four and put the two hands together for the Almighty God! (Amen!)

The third way we can praise God, third way, is by shouting. Alleluia! Amen! Amen! Amen! Now many of us don't know why we shout. They don't see the reason behind shouting. Some of us think that shouting is a nuisance. Amen! I will explain. Let me explain! Let me explain! Let me explain! You will shout “ just wait! There are various reasons why shouting is a form of praise. It's one of the ways of telling God:  You are my champion! Wait a minute! Just wait a minute.  I will give you an opportunity to shout. Just hold on, hold on a little! When its time, I will give you the sign. When your team has scored a goal, the way you rejoice with them is by shouting.   It is by hailing them! Alleluia! The Bible says in Psalm 100:1, it said, make a joyful noise unto the Lord! So you go ahead and shout now.  Amen!

There is a song that says, Clap your hands ass ye people and shout unto God with the loud voice of triumph .. And then there is another song that says, what the Lord has done for me, I cannot tell it all x 3, He saved me and washed me in His Blood.

God bless you! Another way we praise GOD is by dancing and dance means, you are telling God You are my owner! When a dog sees the owner arriving from a journey what does he do? He dances. Tell the devil I am a no-go area for you.  I belong to Jesus and therefore devil you can't come near! When you dance, when you dance you cause the Almighty God to look down from heaven and say, even if I don't have any other fellow I have this one.

And there are some of us because of our position in life we find it difficult to dance because we are supposed to be dignified but when you read 2 Samuel 6:14-22 the Bible says David danced with all his might. The giant killer danced with the same might that he used to kill a lion and he was already king!  brethren.... ¦ don't worry this is a night of miracles. I think something is happening over there. I think it will happen all over here tonight.

The worst thing that can happen to a man is to become an ex-champion, ex-captain, ex-leader. It doesn't sound right. There is way you can be head only, a way you can be above only forever. Its by letting God know that he is your owner; that He made you; that wherever you are it's by His grace and there is only one way to show Him – that's by dancing.

Emi yo jo jo jo ..Oh! I'm only preparing you for the rest of the night because there'll be singing here tonight; there'll be clapping; there'll be dancing; there'll be shouting in the mighty Name of Jesus! (Amen!)

Another way we can praise God is by raising our hands to Him. When you raise your hands to the Almighty God you are simply saying to Him, I surrender all. That is the meaning. That is the meaning. In boxing when you are fighting, you are in the ring, the one thing about boxing is this because like I told you, I used to be one there is no way you can know the strength of your opponent until you are there fighting. Strength is something inside. So before the fight you will be boasting, he will be boasting: I will kill him! Within 2 rounds I will knock him out! and then you are there in the ring and the first blow that hit you landed like a hammer!

You shook your head and continued. The second one, the third one and something tells you, you're about to die! This man is about to kill you and you say, no-no- o! Don't kill me! If I run today I will fight tomorrow and you raise up your two hands. The moment you lift your two hands he must not beat you again. The reason the devil is still beating some people is that they are yet to surrender to the Almighty God.

The moment you lift your hands in surrender to the Almighty God; from that moment onwards no more blows! The moment you lift your hands to Him, you say 'I surrender' that is the end of blows! Will you lift your hand and just wave it to the Almighty and say, Lord I surrender to You, I surrender to the Lord of Hosts, I surrender to the One who has never lost a battle, I surrender to You Lord. (Amen!)

Of course there are several other reasons why we lift our hands to the Almighty but we don't have time for long sermon tonight.

Another way we can show God that we want to praise Him is by kneeling and prostrating. Everybody knows, at least in Africa, that when you want to tell somebody that you regard him as superior to you and you want to greet that fellow what do you do? Either you kneel or you prostrate just to show that I agree you are superior to me.

 In Revelations 4:9-11 the Bible tells us that the 24 elders surrounding the throne of God from time to time they go prostrate on their faces before the Almighty God. The 3 Wise Men when they came to see the Lord Jesus Christ, when the saw Him, before they thought of giving Him any gift, what was the first thing they did? The fell on their faces before Him. They said, King we know who You are – the Maker of heaven and earth, superior to all of us. Let me hurry because we should be here now so we can do some more singing and dancing. Of course one of he best ways of praising God is by worshipping and telling Him who He is by just tell Him His Names.

I will read to you Psalm 18:1-2 because there is something about David that made him special. That is why I think we should listen to him. David was saying I will love thee O Lord my strength, the Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my strength in whom I will trust – my buckler and the horn of my salvation and my high tower.. He just kept on telling God – look You are my strength, You are my rock, You are my fortress, You are my deliverer, You are my God, You are my trust, You are my high tower!

And I've told you, some of you, before, how my mother uses to get my school fees from my Dad. In those days my Father, God bless you, he has 2 wives and many children. He wasn't the richest man in the world to put it mildly. Whenever it is time for school fees, He will pick a quarrel with his wives so that they won't be able to come and ask for money because there is no money. But my mother knew how to get him. She will come very early in the morning and I was then sleeping with my father on the mat, and she will begin “my owner, my head, my this, my that, the son of this, the son of that. When your father went to war he brought slaves, he brought this ..

When you go to the One who has all the wealth in the world, the One who has all the power, the One who does not have to borrow and you say, You are the Almighty God! You are the King of Kings! You are the Lord of Lords! Your are the I AM that I AM! You are the Ancient of Days! You are the Lion of the Tribe of Judah! You are the One who can do and undo~ You are the One who opened the Red Sea! You are the One who pulled down the Wall of Jericho~ You are the One who spoke and there was light and the Almighty God will say: What can I do for you today? God is going to surprise someone here today. (Amen!)

So I want you to stand on your feet before the next band will take over from here. And please those of you who have testimony “ whenever its time for the offering you go to the back of the altar and give your testimonies. I want you to tell the Almighty God who you think He is to you: My Lord, my King, my Saviour! My Healer, my Deliverer, my Rock, my strength, my fortress, my all in all,, my husband, the lover of my soul

 Tell Him~ Tell Him what He is! Tell Him! You are the I AM that I AM! You are the Ancient of Days! You are the Alpha and Omega! You are the beginning! You are the ending! There's no one like You! You are greater than the greatest! You are better than the best! O Lord God Almighty< I praise You! I worship You! You are the Rock of Ages! You are the Bright and Morning Star! O Lord God Almighty! The Lion of the Tribe of Judah, I praise You! (Amen!)

But in 2Kings 3:9-18 the Bible tells us of some thing that happened. 3 Kings were going to battle and on their way they discovered that they ran out of water. So they decided to visit a prophet of God. When Elisha saw them he said why are you here? They said we want direction from God. And he was angry because there was an idol worshipping King amongst them. He said, you need prophecy? Then go tot the prophets of your father idols! He got angry.

Elisha was a very powerful man. He didn't even know how powerful he was because there was a time, some children were saying: Bald-headed man ! Get up from there! And he turned around and cursed them in the name of the Lord and as soon as he spoke 2 she-bears came out and tore 42 of those children! The power in him was mighty and then the moment God saw that this man was angry again He withdrew the power otherwise he would have killed those three kings and their armies. And when his anger had subsided he realised that the spirit of God was gone and he couldn't prophesy so he said bring me a minstrel because when God is far away I know how to bring Him near. So they brought him a minstrel and while the minstrel was playing the spirit came back.

We want to do something now for just a few minutes. Our beloved son Kunle Ajayi is going to play on the saxophone. You too sing along with him if you know the song.

 We want to invite God in a very special manner and then somebody is going to prophesy. (Amen!)

 You are going to prophesy to yourself. Are you ready for that one? All right Just go ahead and let's stand on our feet. The Lord said I should allow you to prophecy to yourself. Go ahead! Say to yourself what you want to happen to you! Mention your name and says “ Adeboye, it's going to be well with you. You will go from strength to strength, from glory to glory from joy to joy. It's going to be well will you! Go ahead! Prophecy to yourself! Open your mouth! Prophecy to yourself! Prophecy to your husband! Prophecy to your children! Go ahead do so! Open your mouth!

So I'm going to give you 3 minutes before I issue those decrees. If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, come and surrender to Him now! Come and surrender to Him now! All of us let us stand and lift up your hands! Let your Amen be loud and clear as I begin to decree. Daddy asked me to decree to you Deuteronomy 28:1-13. I'm going to read it from 1 to 13 As soon as you hear the decree I want your 'Amen!' to be loud and clear!

Deut. 28:1-13

And it shall come to pass (Amen!) , if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God (Amen!), to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day (Amen!), that the Lord thy God will set thee on high (Amen!) above all nations of the earth (Amen!):

 2, And all these blessings (Amen!) shall come on thee (Amen!), and overtake thee (Amen!), if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God (Amen!).

3, Blessed shalt thou be in the city (Amen!), and blessed shalt thou be in the field (Amen!).

4, Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body (Amen!), and the fruit of thy ground (Amen!), and the fruit of thy cattle (Amen!), the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep (Amen!).

5, Blessed shall be thy basket (Amen!) and thy store (Amen!).

 6, Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out (Amen!).

7, The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face (Amen!): they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways (Amen!).

 8, The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee (Amen!) in thy storehouses (Amen!), and in all that thou settest thine hand unto (Amen!); and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee (Amen!).

9, The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee (Amen!), if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God (Amen!), and walk in his ways (Amen!).

10, And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord (Amen!); and they shall be afraid of thee (Amen!).

11, And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods (Amen!), in the fruit of thy body (Amen!), and in the fruit of thy cattle (Amen!), and in the fruit of thy ground (Amen!), in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee (Amen!).

 12, The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure (Amen!), the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand (Amen!): and thou shalt lend unto many nations (Amen!), and thou shalt not borrow (Amen!).

13, And the Lord shall make thee the head (Amen!), and not the tail (Amen!); and thou shalt be above only (Amen!), and thou shalt not be beneath (Amen!);

 if you receive that let me hear you shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)

 I said your death has been postponed! (Amen!)

The Lord says that I said in my Word that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous. I said for those who have praised Him today the transfer of wealth begins this month. (Amen!)

The Lord says there is someone here a c certain relative is waiting to strike as soon as your father is dead. The Lord asked me to tell you, I will frustrate them. (Amen!)

The Lord says there is someone here today, He says I should just tell you, I will widen your path and I will make your way straight. (Amen!)

Let's go ahead  let's worship Him again.
