Thank You Father.

Well, let somebody shout a big hallelujah.

In 2Kings chapter 4 from verse 1 to 7, the Bible told us of a widow, a widow of one of the son of the prophets who cried out to Elisha and said, sir, my husband feared the Lord, he served the Lord it he died.

Then he left me with two sons and we are heavily in debt.

And now the creditors have come to say, if I don’t pay, they will sell my sons.

Man of God, what are you going to do about it?

That was the situation in the morning, by the time the day was over, she has paid all the debt; and she had enough never to borrow again.

I have a very deep feeling that there are at least two people here tonight who will want to cry to God to say, haa, o God, enough is enough; I don’t want to hear any more bad news; I don’t want to hear anything about sorrow, about failure, about accidents, about ambush, about kidnapping, I am tired.

I don’t want to hear evil anymore. From now o Lord, I want to only hear goodnews; I only want to hear about victory, about joy, about progress; miracles, signs, wonders; O God my head refuses to hear about disease, about failure, about anything that is not divine.

God enough is enough, I am Your child, I am serving You to the best of my ability, no more sorrow Lord, no more sorrow Lord, no more bad news, no more bad news, please Lord help me; I am tired of bad news; from now on let it be goodnews, let it be goodnews, let it be goodnews, let it be goodnews Lord.

Thank You Father.

I don’t want to hear bad news anymore; my head refuses persecutions, attacks from right, left, and center. Lord no more attack, I don’t want bad news anymore, I want to begin to hear goodnews for a change. Almighty God let things change for the better for me; from now on, let me hear only goodnews, only goodnews, only goodnews; mighty testimony of divine intervention.

Thank You Father. Thank You Lord. Arise for me Lord, put an end to bad news, put an end to sorrow, put an end to untimely death, please Lord, help me, help me; help my family, help Your church; Lord help, help O Lord. Thank You Father.

God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Lord of host, the Lord who has never lost a war, glory be to Your holy name.

Thank You for the first of half of the year, thank You for bringing us to the second half, thank You for You have done in the past, thank You for all You will yet do, please accept our thanks in Jesus’ name.

There are many of us who had been hearing wonderful testimonies of Your act in their lives, and our hearts has been crying to You Lord, when shall we testify?; please Lord God Almighty, let it be tonight; arise for us O Lord; fight our battles; perfect everything that pertain to us tonight; do what only You can do and let Your name be glorified.

From now on Father, no more sorrow, no more bad news, no more accidents, no more terror, no more evil o Lord, do something new and let Your name be glorified.

In Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.

You are going to do something by faith before you seat down:

I want you to locate at least seven people and say to them: happy new year!

Now, if you believe that, shout hallelujah

And then you may be seated.

God bless you.

Now, my work has been made very easy, so it looks as if we are going to be finishing very early tonight because the theme Divine Priorities is to be looked at from two major perspective:

Perspective one, the priorities of God versus you.

Perspective two, the priorities of you to God.

In other words, what is it that is uppermost in the heart of God concerning you?

Two, the other one: what should be your priorities towards God?

Part two had already been cleared by the lady who spoke before me.

I don’t know how she managed to see my note, but she had finished that part completely.

Isn’t that wonderful?

Thank God for true disciples.

I was telling my children yesterday, the Bible says it is good enough that a disciple will be like his master; that lady has proved that tonight.

Let us give the Lord a big round of over applause.

So, now just let me do the remaining half, what is the priorities of God concerning you?

3John (the only chapter) verse 2, it is written

Beloveth, (and that is God talking about me); Beloveth, I wish above all things (I do what? How?) that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

God said above all things, Adeboye, I wish that you will prosper (He is talking about me o; He is talking about you too?) and be in health, as you soul prospers.

And some people have the audacity to say that if you are Christian, you should die poor, when God says I wish above all things (that we do what?) prosper

Tell, your neighbour: me, I am not going to die poor!

That is not plan of God.

He said, above all things that you may want to think about, as far as you are concern, I wish above all things that you will be prosperous, you will be healthy.

I want you to say it loud and clear: sickness, you get out now.

Because my God, my God said in His word, it is written that His wish concerning me is that I will prosper and be health.

Unless I don’t understand English, of course, He now added, as your soul prospers.

That is while said there are two sessions, but somebody has helped me, she just jumped the first two and landed on ‘as your souls prospers’, beautiful.

The Bible says out of the abundant of heart the mouth speaks.

When we talk about priority; whatever is your priority, when you are speaking that is what we come out of your mouth first.

Emmanuel has been lost in the desert for seven days and finally he was found and they asked him, what do you want now?

What will be the answer?

Let me hear you.

He is dying because he has been in the desert, no water for seven days, when they ask him what can we do for you now?

He is not going to say, buy me a Mercedes Benz car because he knows unless he gets water immediately, he will die.

So, out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

So, if you want us to look at this Almighty God and see how much He loves us, let us go to the very beginning,

In Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 to 28, God has just made man in His own image; man is just waking up from being ordinary dust of the ground, and he is coming face to face for the first time,

The first thing that came out of the mouth of God to man is ‘you are blessed’.

Read it, it is there

And God did what? - Blessed them.

God, according to this passage is meeting Adeboye for the first time and He said to him you are blessed.

That is priority!

So, God is saying to somebody here tonight, I don’t know who that fellow is, you are blessed.

I can go through the scriptures and show you several things to show the way this our God is.

When you read Genesis chapter 12 from verse 1 to 3, when He called out Abraham, He said to Him, I want you to do this, I want you to do that,

There is no record that Abraham and God as met before, that they were friends, that…, God just called him out of idol worshippers;

Abraham, I want you to do this, I want you to that, and I will bless you.

I say today to every one of you listening to me, God bless you.

And the Bible tells me in Proverbs chapter 10 verse 22, the blessing of the maketh rich, and added no more sorrow.

But when He said you are blessed to Adam, He said just in case you don’t understand what the means, He said, you will be fruitful (it is there; Genesis chapter 1 read it from verse 26 to 28)

That is while God said in Exodus chapter 23 verse 26, He said nobody will be barren among My people.

So, in the Name that is above every other name, in your life, barrenness is over.

He said be fruitful; He did not say be fruitful physically alone, He just said be fruitful.

That could mean, be fruitful physically, be fruitful materially, be fruitful in your place of work, be fruitful spiritually; He just said be fruitful.

So, in the Name that is above every other name, every one of you who would have the same faith along with me, you shall be fruitful.

Some years ago, somewhere, shall I say in the world, we wanted to buy a property and the man who was selling the land to us sold it very cheaply and the neighbour said, how can you sell your land for so little!

He said, haa, I sold it to the Redeemed Christian Church of God, they are blessed; wherever they land, they expand.

He is not a member of the church. He said check, very soon now, anybody who want to buy land in this area will pay highly; he said they are blessed.

I command in the name of the God of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, be blessed, be fruitful.

And He said Adam, just in case you don’t understand what I AM saying, you are not going to be only fruitful you are going to multiply;

You are going to multiply not just addition:

Ten plus ten is twenty. Ten times ten is hundred.

I am talking of multiplication

In the name of the Almighty God, the Owner of the heaven and the earth, the One who says silver is Mine, gold is Mine, you will multiply.

I have just returned from a marathon journey; Canada, America, Europe, and so on; in one of the meetings, one man came to me and said, we have heard about you, how do you do it?

I said, me, I don’t anything, I am ordinary man.

But then, how come we hear that the Redeemed Christian Church of God is this, is there, wherever we go, we find you there.

How?

I said I don’t know o, only that I know one thing, I am under a covenant, the covenant that God made with the founder of the church and in that covenant in multiplication.

I said, many of the countries you hear that the Redeemed Christian Church of God are, some of them I have never being there.

Only last year, I began to hear of places where I have never been but God gone ahead because He promised us multiplication.

May I decree to somebody here today, you shall multiply.

When you look at the Bible, when you at this God who told Abraham, I AM going to bless you, you will be great and through you seed shall the whole earth be blessed,

Just look at that man story,

He gave birth to Isaac; Isaac gave birth to Esau and Jacob; Jacob gave birth to twelve,

By the time Jacob finally landed in Egypt according to Genesis chapter 46 verse 27, there were seventy souls from himself and his sons.

By the time he was leaving Egypt, by the time Israel left Egypt, Exodus chapter 12 verse 37, there were six hundred and thirty thousand men plus children.

When we talk of multiplication, you know what I am talking about.

In the Name of that same God, that God of Abraham, you will multiply.

And Galatians chapter 3 verse 29, says anyone who is a Christian is of the seed of Abraham,

So, if you count all the Christians in the world, then you know when God talks of multiplication - He is not joking.

He even went on to say you will now have dominion.

You know, to have dominion is to be in charge.

And then, He listed for you that thing you will have dominion over: beasts (that is animal), birds, serpents,

The Bible says in James chapter 3 verse 7 that …

Thank you Father.

The Lord asked somebody to make a decree and you must do it with all your heart and say: in the mighty name of Jesus, all those who are troubling me, I command you shut up.

Say it again. say it again. I command you, shut up; take off your dirty hands off my affairs; I command you in the Name that is above every other name, enough of your non sense; I command you take off your hands off my life.

In Jesus mighty name.

You know the Bible tells us that whatever we bind on earth shall be bind in heaven.

Many of you don’t know the meaning of dominion.

It means, you have the right to say no more; thus far, no further.

From tonight onward, in the mighty name of Jesus, every mouth that has spoken against you, you will condemn.

Say it loud and clear, every mouth that is speaking against me, I condemn you. I condemn you right now; in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I condemn you.

Amen.

Thank You Jesus.

I know the Lord is just giving you a thirst of what is coming during conventions. You are going to be mountain movers.

Because you see, James chapter 3 verse 7 tells us that every animal, every creature, every kind of beasts, of birds, of serpents; of things in the see, has been tamed by man; God gave us dominion over them.

If you travel abroad, you will see what we called circus, you will see man causing an elephant to dance, lion to jump up, and so on and so forth; we were given dominion, is included in God bless you.

Thank You Father.

The Lord says there is someone here, He said, bad dreams, nightmares, has now made you to become afraid of sleep, He asked me to tell you, you can sleep fine now.

Oh thank You Lord.

And Lord asked me someone who is very worried about somebody very close to you, the Lord asked me to tell you, relax, I will turn the worst to the best.

So, the Lord bless us is you are blessed, you shall be fruitful, you shall multiply, you shall have dominion.

Then, there is the second part of divine priority, after He said I wish above all things that you prosper, the next He say ‘and be health’.

You know, originally, we not supposed to even after Adam sinned.

According to Genesis chapter 5 verse 5, he was still around for nine hundred and thirty years.

He did not die young.

As a matter of fact, by the time you got to Genesis chapter 5 verse 25 there was one man called Methuselah he lived until he was nine hundred and sixty-nine years old.

It was not in the plan of God that we should die, and as a matter of fact, it was out of compassion for us after we fell that He drove man out of the garden.

He said, if we leave him here in his fallen state and he should pick of the tree of life, then he will have to live forever in wretched state so we better protected him from that.

But then, as man continued to do what they like, disobeying God and so on, then people began to die.

For example, Abraham lived for three hundred seventy-five years before he died.

Isaac lived for a hundred and eighty years.

You see the gap between father and son!

Jacob lived for one hundred and forty-seven years;

I decided that I will give you that one as home work. Go and find out.

And then, by the time we got to Moses, when you live to one hundred and twenty years and you are being strong, that is considered strange.

The plan of God is not that you should die, so, He is not a hurry to take you home.

So, I want to decree and I want you to agree with that decree, you will not die before your time.

Thank You Father.

I want you to shake hands with one or two people and say welcome to a new season of joy. And God asked me to tell somebody, listen to me now; He said all the obstacles against you will crack one be one.

You will notice that when the Lord Jesus Christ was here on earth, everywhere He encounter death He reversed the situation.

The daughter of Jarius, the son of the widow of Nain, and His friend that we read about in chapter 11.

He will just look at death as if it is nothing.

Put then, we spoilt the atmosphere by the way we had deviated from Him.

And since I told you, like I should you yesterday during holy communion, since one of His main priorities is restoration, everywhere where we have deviated that brought us closer to death than we should be, God will restore us.

And I want to decree in the name that is above every other name, all your lazarus will rise again.

I am almost closing because I am about to get to the section that my daughter had already clear for us.

Because what He said, I wish above all things…

Thank You Father.

Daddy wants me to tell you story and the story is what some of you have heard before but please wait and listen to what He wants to say at the end.

Years ago, I went to Nsukka to go and mark scripts for WAEC; we used the University as a marking point.

So, we finished marking, it was time to come back home and I cross over to Asaba; thinking that if I get to Asaba I will be able to find somebody who will give me a lift to Lagos.

So, I stood by the highway, and so every vehicle that I waved at they just ignored me and zoomed off.

Then there was this Mercedes Benz car, brand-new; I think they call it Obokun in those days; beautiful, and I thought this one is not going to wait for anybody,

So, I waved my hand, but I did not wave it down so he just zooned off.

But all of a sudden, it stopped and reversed (or backed up, like they say it in America) to where I was stand: they say, you want a lift?

I said yes sir.

Where are you going?

I said, Lagos.

They said, get in.

Haa!

Yes Sir.

There was somebody seating with him in front so the side of the road that was next to me, he was driving, the side of the road that was next to me is what we called the owner’s corner.

So, I open the back, my little bag I put it inside the car; fully air conditioned.

So, I sat down in the owner’s corner; and the way he was talking to his friend, they just ignored me and they were talking, and you could see that these are people just from America.

Anyway, so, we got to Lagos, we got to a petrol station in Ikeja

And he said, excuse me, I need to fill up at a gas station here.

I said yes sir, we are already in Lagos sir, you tried.

He said, no, I am going to take you home.

Hey!

I mean, I was thinking he will drop me at the petrol station, that was he called gas station, and I will find a taxi to Surulere.

He filled the tank and drove me all the way to Surulere where I live before he said, bye now.

The Lord asked me to tell somebody, He said I have started helping you; I will help you to the end.

“I wish above all things that you prosper” - you are not going to die poor.

“and be in health” – from now on, every plant God has not planted in you shall be uprooted.

But now, He added, “as your soul prospers”.

My daughter said, put God first; in everything you do, put God first and leave the rest to Him.

And how do you put God first?

Simple words, I have told you before, holiness is another word for obedience; it is very simple.

Trouble comes because you want to reason things out; you want to understand, how can God do it? How can He solve my problem? How can He pay my debt? How can…, O God!

Why are you making life difficult for yourself:

Stand up.

Yes Lord.

Sit down.

Yes Lord.

Pray.

Yes Lord.

Witness.

Yes Lord.

Fast.

Yes Lord.

Stop asking Him questions.

The last time I asked us to fast hundred days some people are calling me stupid, and I had an opportunity to explain some people that the first God asked us to fast for hundred days, this is the result.

Then some ten years later, He asked us to fast for another hundred days, and this is what followed.

So, the third time He asked for another hundred days, I am already getting ready for the marvelous things He is about to do.

I said the question you should be asking is not why I am being ask to call my people out to fast? The question you should be asking is why is it that you are the only one that He is always asking to do that?

I said, if you have asked that question, I would have told you because He knows that we are the people who are stupid enough to obey.

Because the first time He asked us to fast for a hundred days, I did not know anybody, nobody knew me; it was a time of the military!

There was a change in government and the government decided to change many of their ambassadors, and they appointed thirty-seven new ambassadors,

And out of the thirty-seven, twenty-nine of them happened to be member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

These people got to where they where sent, some very far away places and so on and so forth, they got their there were no churches of Redeemed, they started one.

Because they were ambassador, it was easy for them to start.

And people who were around me, who were my friend said, what kind of fellow are you, you cannot even share?

I am not the one who chose the people but I was the only one who fasted for hundred.

Fast for hundred, we did and He took the church to another twenty-nine nations.

So, if He asked me to fast a whole year so that He can cover the whole world with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, you think I won’t fast?

You want to God demonstrate how great to you?

Why don’t you learn to say yes Lord.

Let them call you stupid!

Be stupid and prosper.

Be stupid and be healthy.

Be stupid and obtain favour with God.

I am telling you…, or let me tell just one more story and I am done, because my daughter has done a good job here.

For the first time in my life, I travelled Abroad - when I mean Abroad, outside Africa.

In 1975, to attend a meeting of Applied Mathematicians in Canada.

We have heard everything, God has shown me mercy;

I mean, I was only one of the two people to represent Nigeria, even though I did not know much at that time but God made a way.

And after programme, they now said that government has arranged that we should be taken to a farm to go and have barbecue and so on; and so we went.

If you are going out of Nigeria for the first time, everything is like gold.

And we got there, the big farm; everything green and fat cows, I mean…; anyways, forget the beauty.

So, I went and I collected my own food and then, I moved aside; I wanted to meditate and I wanted to seat down on the grass.

When I touched the grass, it was very cold, so I took off my hand.

But because of something that God had done when I shared my own little bit of knowledge, there was one young man who saw me going aside and followed me.

So, when I touched the ground and it was cold and I took off my hand quickly, he said, you want to seat down?

I said yes, but the ground is cold.

He removed is jacket, spread it on the floor and said seat down.

I said, haa, no sir. And I heard God loud and clear, you are the son of the King of kings, seat down.

That man removes his jacket, spread it on the floor for me, I sat there and enjoyed myself.

Is there anybody here who wants special extra ordinary divine favour?

Learn to say yes!

Learn to say just a yes boy, a yes girl to God; leave this God alone, He is the Almighty God.

He is the One who said I wish above all things that you will prosper – you don’t have to cheat; and be health – you don’t have to manipulate; just obey!

If I am to be telling the reward of absolute obedience in my life, you will find it difficult to believe.

When we got to this place, we had only a little over two hectares, and He said, son, this is the city I promised you.

Yes Lord!

He did not make sense. But who is taking about sense when we are talking about the Almighty.

When we are talking about the God of all gods, the Ancient of days, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the One who can do all things, why do you need to worry yourself when they misunderstand you?

Can they understand God?

I wish above all things – that is what God said o – that you will prosper, with or without the help of anybody.

I wish above all things that your debt will be wiped out; that you won’t beg for bread; that whenever you knock at one door that seven will be open unto you.

Why do you want to disobey the one who own the whole earth?

I have told you before, God bless you means let all the forces in heaven, all the forces on earth, all the forces even underneath the earth combine their efforts to make sure you succeed.

That is while I am surprised when I am walking around in the night and some people see me going about praying and before they disturbed me, I say God bless you.

And some of them will still come and say Daddy, I want you to pray for me.

I have prayed the best prayer that anybody can pray for you!

I decree, everyone of you my children, God bless you; and you will never disobey God again.

So, those of you who have not surrender your life to Jesus come now; it is so easy to walk with God, just surrender your life to Him that is all.

Tell Him, Lord, come over, take over my life, whatever you say that is what I will do.

So, if you want to surrender your life to Jesus come now, I will count from one to ten and you have to really run particularly those of you who are in the old auditorium. Move very fast now because before ten I mighty begin to pray.

So, those of you who are coming to surrender your life to Jesus Christ begin to come now, very quickly. I am counting

One, two, three, four, five, six,

Hurry up, hurry up, hurry up.

Come and begin a new life of complete surrender to Jesus Christ and see what He will do for you.

He will prosper you; He will make sure that you live in health; He will make you fruitful; He will cause you to multiply; He will give you dominion.

Hurry up

Six, seven, eight, nine,

Okay, those of you who are still on the way keep coming and pray as you come.

And those of us in front let us cry unto God and say Father, I have come to surrender my life to You I will obey You, just forgive all my sins and save my soul. I want you to be not just my Saviour but my Lord; save my soul and I will do Your will from now on; just have mercy on me Lord.

And the rest of us let us stretch our hands to all those who are in front and pray for them. Intercede that the God who saved your own soul will save their souls also. Let us go ahead and pray for them for about two minutes.

And those of you who are still on the way, you have to hurry up now because I will soon be praying. Keep coming if you are on the way. Just make sure you get here before I finish praying; and pray as you come.

Please Brethen, intercede for these people they need your prayers that God will save their souls.

Thank You Father.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

My Father and my God we want to bless Your holy name for Your word. We want to thank You for the souls of these people who have come forward, please have mercy on them, save their souls, write their names in the book of life, let them become members of the family God. Please Lord, today, as they join Your family, every time they call on you answer them by fire and let them serve You till the end.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Amen.

Now, those of you who have come forward, let me here you shout hallelujah.

Make it loud and clear.

Okay.

I want to assure you that from now on I will be praying for you so people will help collect your names, your address, and your prayer request; and they will pass it unto me, and I promise you; I will be praying for you.

God bless you.

Now, while we wait for our brothers and sisters maybe the choir will minister.

Thank you.

Let us write down our prayer points while wait for our new brothers and sisters.

Number one: You want to thank God for your new year, that is if you believe that your new year has started. Thank God for your new year.

Number two: Apologies to God for every act of disobedience in the past.

Number three: Ask for grace to serve Him ruggedly and totally from now on.

Number four: Ask for grace to put Him first in all things.

Number five: Say, Father, prosper me in Your own way.

And then, you ask, Father, heal me, make me whole; and from now, let me enjoy divine health.

And then, say, Father, the grace to serve You, putting You first in everything give it to me tonight.

And then, your own personal prayer points.

In closing, you pray for this year convention that God will meet all our needs physically, mentally, spiritually, during this year convention.

Go ahead and cry to the Lord.

Thank You Father. Glory be to Your holy name. thank You Lord. Thank You Father.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

The Almighty God will grant your request. He will forgive all your previous action of disobedience. He will you the grace never to disobey again. He will give you the grace to serve Him; and then, He will prosper you. In every area of your life you will be fruitful; you will multiply, you will have dominion over all your enemies; all forces ganging up against you, you will deal with them. God will give you a new beginning of joy, of success, of goodness; He will give you brand new year. In every area of your life, He will show you favour. You will become His favorite. Your new beginning is now. He will take you high, far above your enemies; God will take you high. It shall be well with you.

From now on, in the mighty name of Jesus, it will be goodnews for you, and you will serve Him like never before. You shall be well; you shall be whole; you will enjoy divine healing; He will answer your prayers, and He will answer by fire. Before the sun rises you will sing a new song.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Amen.
