Let somebody shout 'Alleluia!' (Alleluia!) There is someone here tonight that
the Almighty God! is going to make great. If you are the one let me hear you
shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!) In a large
crowd where very many people are present it is not very easy for one person to
stand out but then once upon a time a whole city was praising God – singing,
clapping, dancing, but one man stood out among them all – he danced more than
everybody, he sang more than everybody, he praised God more than everybody –
amen! That man was David - that's what God remembered when David should have
been killed. God said, I will forgive you because when people are praising me
you always excel. There is somebody here tonight that the Almighty God! is going
to make great. If you are that fellow for 3 minutes praise God more than
everybody else! Magnify Him more than everybody else! Sing unto Him, dance to
Him more than everybody else! Excel in praising Him! Glorify Him like nobody
else! from the bottom of your heart! Praise Him! Magnify Him! Lift Him high!
O Yes Lord! I will praise You! I will worship You! I will magnify Your Holy
Name! I will do what no one else can possibly do! I will glorify Your Name! I
will bless You! Be thou exalted O Lord! Above the heavens! Let Your glory fill
the whole earth! King of Kings Lord of Lords! The I AM that I AM! Ancient of
Days! O there is no one like o you! There is no one like You! You are the Alpha!
You are the Omega! You are the beginning! You are the ending! You are the One
who is to come the Almighty! Blessed be Your Holy Name! Blessed be Your Holy
Name! Blessed be Your Holy Name! I will praise You, I will lift You high! I will
adore You! I will praise You from the bottom of my heart! Your Name shall be
glorified in my life like never before! … Thank You Jesus! Blessed be Your Holy
Name! ….. Be Thou exalted… Alleluia! O Lord we bless Your Holy Name! I thank
You! I thank You! I glorify Your Holy Name Thank You Father! Thank You! Lord God

Now you lift your voice to Him because He's
here now – the Bible says He inhabits the praises of His people. You have
praised Him so you have brought Him near. So you lift your voice to Him! You
say, Father, Let me hear you say 'Father!' I am not here to joke tonight! Hear
me tonight O Lord! Hear me! Lift your voice to Him and tell Him! My Lord and my
Saviour, I am not here to joke tonight! Hear me O Lord! Hear me! Hear me as I
pray! Hear me as I pray! Hear me as I pray! King of Glory! Hear me as I pray! I

The Bible says that God promised that He would pour on the house of David,
the spirit of grace and supplication. Now we have praised God like David did.

of grace, the spirit of supplication! Almighty God!! Tonight pour on me the
spirit of grace and supplication so that I will know how to pray, so that I will
be able Lord God Almighty! to approach Your throne as I ought! Pour on me
tonight the spirit of grace and supplication. Hear me O Lord! Hear me! Pour on me Lord the spirit of grace, the
spirit of supplication. so that I will be able to pray as I ought, so that I
will be able to do what You want me to do tonight so that Your Name will be

Bible says the spirit helpeth our infirmities because we don't know how to pray
as we ought! Father let Your Holy Spirit help my infirmities tonight! let Your

Destroy every distraction! Everything that will cause any distraction tonight,
everything that will not let me focus on You tonight Father! destroy! Every
distraction, whatever form it may take, take it far from me O Lord! Yes Lord I
have come unto you, not to any man! I have come, not to joke, I've come not to play, I've come not to be a
spectator so everything that will cause any distraction in my life tonight, my
Father! destroy! Father! wipe it out, that Your name might be glorified. every
form of distraction! eliminate Lord! Thank You Father! Blessed be Your Holy Name
Lord! Alleluia! Thank You Jesus! In Jesus mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!)
And now, you have prepared the grounds for prayer and you lift your voice to
the Almighty God!. You forget everybody on your right or on your left, lift your
voice loud and clear and say, Father, open the heavens over me tonight! Go
ahead! Talk to the Almighty God! Open the heavens over my head tonight! Open the
heavens over my family tonight! Open the heavens over my nation tonight! Open
the heavens O Lord! Open the heavens! Open the heavens! Almighty God! Open the
heavens over me tonight! …. Thank You Father! Thank You Jesus! In Jesus mighty
Name we have prayed! (Amen!)
Now you lift your voice to Him and say, Father!, anything in my past that is
disturbing my present, wipe away with Your blood. Let's talk to the Almighty
God!! ….. Thank You Jesus! …. Thank You Father! In Jesus mighty Name we have
prayed! (Amen!)
Then you lift your voice to Him and say, Father!, anything that I'm holding
onto that will not allow me to receive my breakthrough, take it away from me by
force! Let's talk to the Almighty God!! Anything that I'm holding onto that will
not allow me to have my breakthrough tonight, Father!, take it way from me by
force! … Alleluia! Blessed be the Name of the Lord! In Jesus mighty Name we have
prayed! (Amen!)
Brethren, once in a while somebody comes into your life pretending to be a
friend but with the purpose of locking you out of your destiny. You are going to
talk to the Lord tonight: every friend that will block my way to my destiny –
separate them from me! Talk to the Almighty God! Father!, every friend that will
lure me out of my destiny, separate then from me O Lord! Separate them from me O
Lord! …. Thank You Father! In Jesus mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!)
And then you will lift your voice to the Almighty God!…. this one you pray
it, if you want don't pray it… just say, Father!, don’t let me go home
empty-handed! Go ahead Talk to the Almighty God!: Tonight Father!, Almighty God!
don't let me go home empty-handed!…. Thank You Jesus! Glory be to God! In Jesus
mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!)
Holy, holy, holy holy…… You are high and lifted up, there is no one like you
… You are the most high…….Just go ahead
and worship Him one more time… Bless His Holy Name one more time! Glorify His
Holy Name! He's worthy to be praised! He's worthy to be adored! There's no one
like Him. He is the Almighty! He is the Almighty! He is the Almighty! Blessed be

Father! Almighty , I commit all these Your children who are born in February
into Your hands. Beginning from today give them double portion of joy! (Amen!)

portion of Your anointing! (Amen!) Double portion of ability to serve you!

1 Sam.16:1…Tell your neighbour, Tonight is my night! You didn't say it with
confidence! … 1 Sam.16:1
And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I
have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I
will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among
his sons.
Last month we began to discuss this particular passage as we began to look at
anointing for greatness and we covered some very good grounds. We said for
example that God was telling Samuel to forget the past because He wanted to do
something new and that he should fill his horn with oil because it is time for
anointing. and then we went on to say, the Lord said I have provided me a King
.. that God is the great provider that He has provided for all and now
He says He wants to provide for
Himself, but He wants someone special, someone that He has preserved for
Himself. And that He therefore provided Himself a King, not just a vain person.
Then we went on to say, that whoever he chooses to be a King for Himself will be
someone with power, but then the Lord said, I had sought for a man, In other
words, he had to seek to find such a person. And then finally He found one. And
then after He found that person, according to His word, He said, I have found
David, my servant. So we said, God says He's looking for a king who will also be
a servant. Not only a servant of the people of God, but a servant of God
Himself. Then the Bible tells us that He sought himself a man, He found one,
then He chose Him then we said, Who will God choose? And we tried to answer that
question also. We said whoever God will choose, it's going to be by grace and
grace alone. But that we said, different people respond to grace in different
ways. And we gave the examples of Noah, Abraham, David and Solomon. As examples
of those who responded positively to the grace of God – that they all built altars unto God. And then we said, What
is an altar? We said an altar is a place of surrender and a place that is a
covenant meeting point between God and man and we gave examples of what will
happen when man and God meet at the
altar. We said when a man is coming to the altar he will bring a sacrifice to
God and the sacrifice is an offering
that will be so expensive that it will be called a sacrifice. And then
when God comes to the altar, because He is the Jehovah El Shaddai, the God who
is more than enough* He doesn't bring just one
sacrifice, He brings plenty. At the altar there is an exchange. And we
gave examples and then we invited some of us to come to the altar and meet with
Almighty God!. All of you who came to the altar with your sacrifice, the
Almighty God! will respond! (Amen!) And He will bless you beyond measure.
(Amen!)
Now I want to continue my study on this particular passage – that God sought
for a man, found a man, chose a man and then the Bible says He commanded the man
to become king over His people.
Suddenly I heard Daddy speak to me and said, Son, that was a good Bible
study, and I began to shake. I began to shake because when the teacher begins to
praise the student there is something there. There was nothing I taught that I
did not receive from Him. And I know God sufficiently – whenever He begins to
praise you, watch out! Check the Bible very well. The day the angel came to
Gideon and said, Hey how are you mighty man of valour? What is the next thing
that followed? He said, I want you to go and deliver Israel. That day the
privacy of Gideon ended. If God calls your name alone, get ready for something.
The day He said, Moses, Moses… the next thing that followed was Moses, I want
you to go to Pharaoh. When He said that was a good Bible study, I said, Huh
–huh, what is the next thing?
And then, thank God, He said, You are going too fast; there are several
things in 1 Sam.16:1 that you are about to miss. Go back to the beginning and He
said, let us forget about Saul, let's look at everything from there on: Fill thy horn with oil. What
do you see here? I looked at it closely. I saw horn. I saw oil. I saw fill. And
He said is that all you see? I looked a little more closely and I saw thy - thy
horn and suddenly I saw – the horn belongs to Samuel. The oil belongs to God.
Tonight brethren, the horn that will touch your head may belong to man, the oil
that will touch your head belongs to God. (Amen!) I say the oil that will touch
your head belongs to God. We will come to that one later.
And He said, what next do you see? And I saw the word "go"… go, go, go, go, …
what does 'go' mean? Number one it means the light has turned green. It simply
means – the way has opened, for somebody here tonight the way has opened. I say
the way has opened. Let me hear you say: My way has opened! Say it loud and
clear…. Let somebody give a big shout to the Almighty God!
"Go!" means, the way has opened. You see when your day comes, the light goes
green. for example, Eccl.3:1-8 tells us specifically that God has a time for
everything. God has a season for everything. And then Psalm 102:13 the Bible
says, the time to favour Zion, the set time has come. The set time to favour
Adeboye has come! The time to favour somebody here tonight has come!
A set time! A time that had been fixed. Those of you who have alarm
clock when you want the clock to wake
you at 5 o' clock you set the alarm for 5! The alarm is about to ring for
somebody here tonight (Amen!) If you read Genesis 18:1-14, after 25 years that
God had promised Abraham a child through Sarah, the light turned green for
Abraham. He had waited for years but the set time came. When you read 1
Sam.1:9-17 You will discover that Hannah
had been going to Shiloh for years. That one particular year her set time came.
The light turned green for her. When you read Luke 1:5-17 you discover that
after several years of serving the Lord, Zechariah and Elisabeth, that the Bible
said they were blameless in everything, the Bible said the time came and the
light turned green for them. I don't know who I am talking to here today – the
light is going to turn green for you tonight! (Amen!)
In Luke 5:1-11 the Bible tells us that Peter was told by Jesus Christ
Himself, the Truth himself, the original prophet Himself told Peter, you will
cease to be a fisherman, but you will become a fisher of men – but years passed!
Peter waited for the day when he would become a fisher of men. The Bible said
that when the day of Pentecost was fully come, suddenly – let somebody say
'suddenly' I can't hear you! – suddenly the Holy Spirit came and that day Peter
preached a sermon and won 3,000 souls. He entered into his destiny when the time
was fully come. The time has come for somebody tonight. (Amen!) Before you know
it, suddenly you will enter into your destiny. (Amen!)
So "Go!" means the light has turned green. But "Go!" is also a command – not
a plea, not an advice. It's a command from who to who? From God to Samuel. And
who is the one giving the command? The Commander-in-Chief of the Hosts of
heaven. Psalm 24:7-10 calls Him the Lord of Hosts, calls Him the Lord, the Lord
strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle, the One who is going to fight your
battles for you tonight (Amen!). He's the One giving the command and the Bible
calls Him the One who must be obeyed. Psalm 33:8 & 9, It said Let the whole
earth fear before Him because He spake and it was done. The Almighty God! the
Commander-in-Chief of the Hosts of heaven is the One commanding now. The One
that must be obeyed. Not only obeyed by man but the One who must be obeyed by
light and darkness because in Genesis1:3 He said, Let there be light and what
happened? There was light! And that's why tonight the Commander-in-Chief is
saying to somebody here, tonight in your life there will be light (Amen!), in
your home there will be light (Amen!), in your churches there will be light
(Amen!), in your nations there will be light (Amen!) And when He said let there
be light He was commanding light to come forth and He was commanding darkness to
let go! I decree in the mighty Name of Jesus! that every force of darkness in
your life will let you go (Amen!) I thought I will hear a resounding 'Amen!'
(Amen!)
This Commander-in-Chief must be obeyed by man. must be obeyed by light, must
be obeyed by darkness.
Not only that. Mark 4:35-41 the Bible says, a man came unto him and said,
What manner of man is this? We are talking about Jesus Christ, what manner of
man is this that even the wind and the sea obey him? Why did they say so?
Because He spoke one sentence. He said to the storm, Peace, Be still and
immediately everything was calm – the storm obeyed! Tonight every storm in your
life shall be stilled in Jesus Name! (Amen!) I say every storm in your life will
obey God in Jesus Name!. But when you say the wind obey him, that means the air
you breath obey him and that means from now on as you breath in you will breath
in healing (Amen!), you will breathe in health (Amen!) The wind and the sea!
That means water must obey Him. So every
part of your body which had been giving you trouble where your blood is
not functioning well, because they are made of water they shall obey the Lord
today. Hypertension will get out of you today. (Amen!) Diabetes will get out of
you today. (Amen!) Everything that is in your blood that is not of God, your
blood will kill them today (Amen!)
Light obeys Him, darkness obeys Him, the wind obeys Him, the sea obeys Him.
According to 1 Kings 17:2-7 birds obey Him and that's good news you see because
according to 1 Kings 17:2-7, God gave instructions to birds to take food to
Elijah twice a day – bread and meat. Everybody knows that birds love bread and
ravens in particular love meat. But they did not eat the food sent to Elijah on
the way and they did not miss the address. There is no way your miracle will get
lost in transit (Amen!) And I hereby decree that every evil bird that had been
pursuing you, from today they will leave you alone. (Amen!) And I am decreeing also that every dove will bring
peace into your home. (Amen!)
And then Matthew 17:24-27, tells you the story that one day the task master
asked Peter, what about the tax for your master? So Jesus said to Peter, In
order that we don't offend them, go to the river, cast your hook, the first fish
that you catch, open it's mouth there will be a gold coin there take it and use
it to pay for you and for me. Everybody knows that fish don't eat metal but when
God commands a fish to swallow gold coin it will obey. Much more than that, when
God commands a fish and says, a hook is coming, you must be the first one to
swallow the hook, the fish must obey. What I'm telling you is this – there is a
river in your village containing a fish. Inside the mouth of that fish is your
money. Very soon you will catch that fish. As you begin to fish for souls, as
you begin to win people to Christ, the one who has your money in his mouth will
be born again in Jesus Name! (Amen!) Fish obey Him. If you don't believe me read
Jonah 1. God told a fish to swallow Jonah and told him., swallow him but don't digest him, I
just want him to stay in your belly for 3 days and 3 nights until he comes to his senses. And when
finally Jonah cried to the Lord from the belly of the fish, God commanded the
fish and said, Fish, that man you swallowed doesn't know how to swim so don't
vomit him into the river take him to the beach. I'm telling you that whoever God
will use to take you to your breakthrough, He will not stop halfway! (Amen!) I
say He will not stop half way! (Amen!)
When you read Numbers 22:22-31 you'll find the story there of a donkey
speaking with the voice of a man because God said, Speak out! Speak out! When
you read Daniel 6:20-22 The Bible tells us that Daniel spent the whole night in
the den of lions and they did not touch him – why? Because God commanded them to
keep their mouths shut! Animals obey
Him! That's why from today when lions see you coming they will run (Amen!) and
when dogs see you they will dance. (Amen!)
When you read Acts 12:20-23 you will discover a king who decided to be proud,
who began to claim that he is equal to God. The Bible said, God commanded worms
to eat him alive. Worms obey him! Ordinary worms obey him! Do you know that
every sickness, every disease, or at least majority of sickness and diseases are
caused by something they call either bacteria or virus. And if you look at them
in the microscope they are like worms, worms obey Him -
that's why I am commanding – every virus in your system – they will die
right away. (Amen!) Every HIV, every AIDS that may be in your system they are
dead now in Jesus Name! (Amen!)
And then when you read Psalm 29:4-9, the Bible says even fire obeys Him. It
says the voice of the Lord creates a path in the fire. That's why it says in
Isaiah 43:2, it says when you are passing through the fire, the fire will not
burn you! Those of you who are going through fire now, you will come out alive
in Jesus Name! (Amen!). But not only that, you see, Man obeys Him, light obeys
Him, darkness obeys Him, wind obeys Him, sea obey Him, storm obeys Him, birds
obeys Him, fish obeys Him, animals obey Him, of course lions, angels obeys Him,
worms obeys Him, fire obeys Him. But the Bible says even things that are not alive – inanimate objects, they
obey him too. In Acts 12:5-11, the Bible says when the angel of the Lord came
and took Peter out of prison, doors began to open of their own accord. every
door that had been shut against you shall open up of their own accord in Jesus
Name! (Amen!). So the One that must be obeyed – obeyed in the heavens, obeyed on
the earth, obeyed underneath the earth, the One who says power belongs to me,
the One who is the most high, the one who is the Almighty, the One who is higher
than the highest, the One who is wiser than the wisest. He is the One who said,
Go. He is the one who commands that ways
be opened unto you and ways shall be opened unto you. (Amen!).
Thank You Jesus! I'm sure you know that all kinds of healings are already
taking place. I mean there is somebody, the Lord says you have this peppery
feeling each time you urinate but that's over now. The Lord said there is
somebody who's finger was burning like fire when you came tonight but check now
your finger is normal, the problem is over. He said there is someone here who
was feeling a stabbing pain at the back of the neck and the pain has disappeared
now. The Lord says there is someone here, the downward trend in your life had
been reversed. (Amen!) The Lord said there is someone here tonight, He said you will understand when I tell you, when I
say an unexpected cool breeze is blowing your way. (Amen!)
So "Go!" means the light has turned green. "Go!" means the commander has
given a command. And so "Go!" means there is a messenger coming your way and it
is a messenger of joy. There is a messenger coming your way. Who is this
messenger? It could just be the Word of God. Psalm 107:20 says He sent His Word
and healed them and delivered them out of their destruction. The Word of God is
coming to somebody here tonight to heal
and to deliver. I say, the Word of God is coming to someone. I didn't say He is
coming to everybody, I say He is coming to someone to heal and to deliver. If
you are the one let me hear your Amen!' (Amen!)
You know the story in Matthew 8:5-13. About the story of the centurion who
came to Jesus and said my servant is sick. I want him healed. Jesus said, Okay,
I'll come and heal him. He said, No, no,
no I'm not asking you to come. Send Your Word. Just one word. Send a messenger.
Let him bring the healing to me. I don't know who is that precious fellow to
you. Even if that fellow is not here tonight, the messenger of peace will reach
the fellow there! (Amen!) In Matthew 15:21-28 this woman from, the woman we call
the Syro-Phonecian woman came to Jesus and said, Help me, my daughter is
grievously vexed of the devil. The daughter wasn't there. When Jesus said, Go!
Your daughter is made whole! Before she got home the daughter was made whole.
Every problem waiting for you at home will be solved before you get home.
(Amen!)
In 2 Kings 5:1-14 When Namaan came to Elisha expecting to be healed he said,
I thought the man of God will come out and lay his hands on me. But what did the
man of God do? He sent a message to him. "Go!" Jump into river Jordan, 7 times. And you'll be made
whole. He sent his word and the word healed him. Every 'but' that is in your
life, I send the Word of God to them tonight. I command every but in your life
to disappear in Jesus Name! (Amen!) There is a messenger coming, it could be the
Word of God, it could be an angel – like the angel that called Peter out of
prison or that brought food to 'Elijah or it could be ordinary wind, the wind of
God Because in Exodus 14:21-28…..
Thank You Father! The Lord said there is someone here tonight, there is a
broken bridge in your life. He says I will repair that bridge in your life .
(Amen!) Thank You Lord! That's a big one let's give the Lord a big round of
applause Thank You Father!
In Exodus14:21-28 when the Almighty God was going to create a way for the children of Israel in the Red
Sea, He sent His wind. He sent the East wind, the wind that blew all night and
created a path for the children of Israel to pass through. Let somebody say, Let
the wind blow! Say it one more time: Let the wind blow! When the wind of God
blows, then definitely the light will turn green because where there was no way
before suddenly there will be a way. All of you who thought that the end had
come, today there'll be a new way for you! I say there will be a new way for
you! (Amen!)
There's a messenger coming. It might be His Word. It might be His angel. It
might be His wind - the Holy Spirit. But
then He might come himself. In Daniel 3:23-27, when they took Shedrach, Meshach
and Abednego to the fiery furnace, He didn't send an angel, He didn't send a word – He came Himself and brought them out
of the fire. Whoever you are that is in a tight corner now – you are coming out!
(Amen!) You will come out tonight! Whether the enemy likes it or not you are
coming out tonight! (Amen!)
So "Go!" means there's a messenger
coming, but in this 1 Samuel 16:1 who is the messenger who is coming? His name
is Samuel and who is Samuel? Samuel is the kingmaker. In 1 Samuel 9:27 up to 1
Samuel 10:1 we find that he was the one who anointed Saul to be king over
Israel, so Samuel is coming, Samuel is the destiny changer because in 1 Samuel 10:9-11 the Bible says the moment
Samuel came into the life of Saul, Saul began to prophesy…
but the destiny changer had stepped into the situation. All of you who are
destined to fail, your destiny will change for the better tonight. (Amen!) Those
of you who are destined to die. You will live! (Amen!) I say you will live!
(Amen!) I say you will live! (Amen!)
Let me tell you a story. I'm telling this story – it's true ..the power of
God is here, I'm trying to compose myself. There was this story, a true story.
we had a meeting like this in the old, old auditorium and the Word of God came
that there was a woman there who was destined to die but because she came God
said she will live. We didn't know who she was. We finished the programme . We
left. Now there were these people that this woman bought land from and they
didn't want to give her the papers of the land so they decided to kidnap her and
kill her. So they grabbed her, beat her very well, out a tape round her mouth,
bundled her into the boot of a car and they were taking her away, far out of the
town to go and dump her somewhere where she will die. She was in the boot of a
car, beaten unconscious, mouth taped and every police checkpoint they just – you
know they settled the boys and they were
allowed to go. I'm sure you now what that one means. But then they got to this
particular checkpoint and they brought out what they normally would give. And
the officer there said, No I want to see what is in your boot. so they doubled
the amount. the officer said, No. I'm not taking money, I want to see what is in your boot. After all attempts when they
saw, ah trouble, then they jumped out of the car and began to run. Finally the
police men forced open the boot and they found the woman there. Those of you who
have been destined to die this year because you came tonight I decree you shall
live (Amen!) I say, I decree you shall live (Amen!) Alleluia! Alleluia!
I think we have to do something. Glory be to God!
I want the area pastors to come. Quickly. Alleluia! I want you to form a big
circle all over the place. Form a big circle. face yourselves but form a big
circle – it has to be one big circle that can take every one of you. Thank You
Father! It has to be one single circle. You can start as far as this place but
make it one single circle… one big circle … Alleluia! Area Pastors only. If you
like you can go far to my right but it must be one single circle – not two. If
you are behind somebody you are out of tune. You can go behind , I don't care
how far but it must be one big circle. I'm going to count up to 10 after that
any body who is not in the front circle is out…… there's space behind there. One
big circle and one circle only. I'm
counting up to ten. After that if you are not already in the first circle too
bad. Thank You Jesus! Alleluia! Glory be to God!
I can feel the power of the Almighty God! It's coming so heavy so I want to
shed some of it. I want to transfer a bit of it to these Pastors so listen
carefully, those of you in that single circle. I'm coming into your midst. I'm
going to join hands with you. I will pray for 2 minutes. The current will flow.
When the current flows if you feel vibration in your body just rejoice. If your
leg goes weak, do whatever you have to do. Thank You Jesus! Pray in tongues for
a while. The current is flowing right now. Coming to you now. Coming your way.
Go ahead. Open your mouth pray! The current is already flowing……. Alleluia!

Those of you who can still walk go back to your seat now. Go back to your

So Samuel is coming. The destiny-changer is coming! So the destiny of
somebody is about to change tonight. (Amen!) Who is Samuel? The Oracle of God. 1
Samuel 3:19-20. It said God will not even allow the word of Samuel to fall to
the ground. Samuel is someone that when he speaks it is done. Now, Samuel is
coming for who? The messenger of God is coming but for who? He's coming for me
of course! Psalm 16:6 says, the lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places, yea
I have a goodly heritage. The messenger of God
is coming for someone tonight! Who is the fellow? Let me hear you say
'Alleluia' (Alleluia)
So the Lord says there is a lot in "Go!" But before we even look further into
the other things that are embedded in "Go!". He said, "Go, I will send you to
Jesse." It means the messenger is coming to someone in particular. Luke 4:25-26
tells us that God…. Thank You Father!
The Lord said there's someone here tonight, , within fifteen days all your
matters will be settled. (Amen!) Thank
You Father!
I said Luke 4;25-26, God des not do His things haphazardly. He's a God of
order. It says there were many widows in the land of Israel in the time of
Elijah but God sent Elijah to only one – the widow of Zarapheth. In verse 7 of
the same Luke 24 it says there were many lepers in the time of Elisha but God
sent only to Namaan. 1 Kings 19:15-16 It made it clear that there were many
farmers but it was only Elisha that was sent to receive the mantle. There are
many thousands of us here tonight. – many thousands but God is coming for
someone – a specific somebody – for whom this day is the turning point (Amen!) –
if you are the one say it is me! Thank You Father!
The Lord said there's someone here tonight, , He said those helping you are
getting tired of you. He said I should tell you – you will soon be paying them
back! (Amen!)
Now, He said, I will send you to Jesse. That tells me one thing straight away
– God knows your name. I say, God knows your name. As a matter of fact in Isaiah
43:1 the Almighty God! said, I have called you by your name. I am the one who
called you by your name. In Exodus 3;1-4, at the backside of the desert, in the
burning bush, God called out the name of Moses: Moses, Moses! Moses must have
looked round and said, Who knows me in this wilderness. The President may not
know your name. The governor of your State may not even know you exist. Even the
GO may not know you are here tonight but God knows your name. You are a VIP with
God. Tell your neighbour: You are sitting next to VIP tonight! God is calling
the name of somebody tonight. I know He is calling at least 2 people. He's
saying: Adeboye! Adeboye! And then He's calling somebody else again. God is
calling somebody to greatness tonight so He knows your name. That is why, if
your name is not the correct one He can even change it. Because the influence of
your name upon your life is tremendous. Moses for example means drawn out of
water and look at the history of Moses. Everything was water, water – changed
water to blood, take the children of Israel through the Red Sea; changed bitter
water to sweet; brought water out of a rock and when he couldn't get to the
Promised Land, it was because of water. Water – water – water – because his name
is Moses. That's why if your name is – the devil has got this – you better
change that name. Because if the devil has got this then the devil will keep
what it has got! If your name is 'The god of thunder has come home' you better
change it before thunder begins to land! Alleluia!
In Genesis 17:1-16 Ah Thank You Father!
God changed the name of Abram to Abraham. He changed Sarai to Sarah. In
Genesis 22:24-28, He changed Jacob to Israel. every name that is standing
against your destiny shall be altered tonight (Amen!) He knows your name. But
more importantly - He knows your father's name! He didn't say, Go I will send
you to the house of David, even though David was the man he was sending to but
He said, I will send you to Jesse! In Isaiah 45:3-4, He said, I have called thee
by thy name. I have surnamed you… I'm not just giving you your own name, I gave
your father his name! That's why when the call me Adeboye, Adeboye is not my
name – that's my father's name! That's correct! That's why the elders say that
it is a bastard that will point a left finger to his father's house. In other
words, it is a bastard who will belittle his father's name! Thank God for names!
Every child should have his own
Thank God for names. Every child who will belittle his father's name has a
name. What is the name? I can't hear you? So I thank God for the Redeemed
Christian Church of God. I thank God for so many children that we have. I thank
God for your beautiful names - Garden of Peace,
Mount Zion Parish, Abraham's Palace …. But I give you 7 days (how many
days?) to go and bring down that your signboard and rewrite the name because
some of you will write your name in bold letters and then you will write the
Redeemed Christian Church of God so little people can't even see it! 7 days!
Take down that signboard - write your Garden of Peace all right and write the
Redeemed Christian Church of God in bold letters. Write your Solomon's Parish -
write the Redeemed Christian Church of God in bold letters! How many days do you
have? 7 days. I can't hear you!
Your father's name - what are the applications? - He's telling you - I know
your origins… There's one big advantage - because He knows your origins,
according to Ps. 90:11-2 the Bible says before the mountains were brought forth
- I am God. So that mountain of problem in your life - He knew before they
started He has been God.. That's why Job 28:9 says God overturns the mountains
by the roots. He will overturn uproot the mountains from the roots.. every
mountain in your life shall be uprooted tonight in Jesus Name! (Amen!)
What we are discussing is so important I can't stop to tell you - but the
Lord has been healing - eyes in
particular tonight…. Cloudy eyes, watery eyes, pain inside eyeballs. There's
even somebody here with detached retina which is already refixed by God
Your Dad is very important to u because God says if your Dad is evil you can
pay for generations of what he has done wrong. Exod.20:5 God says He can visit
the iniquity of the father upon sons
unto the 3rd and 4th generations. But when your father is good! Ah, the Bible
made clear that for generations you can continue to enjoy the blessings of your
father being good. That's Exod.20:6. And Ps. 37:25 David said, I was young,, now
I am old, I've not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. Your
children are not going to beg for bread. (Amen!)
When you read Gen,28:10-15 the Bible says, Jacob was running away from home
because he had just cheated his brother - he had just stolen his brother's
blessing. And yet God met him on the way and said, I will bless you! The ground
on which you are lying - I will give it to you. Why? Because of Abraham your
father. In other words, God was saying, Jacob I know you are a 419 man, I ought
too kill you but because of Abraham, your father, instead of killing you, I will
bless you. Whatever I have to do to change about you to receive the blessing I
will do it. Your father is important to you, very important! Even more important
is your spiritual father. Your spiritual father is even more important to you
than your biological father! In 2 Kings 2:9-15 we saw Elisha getting a double
portion of the anointing of Elijah. Like Pastor, like congregation. If your
Pastor is a thief, you are likely to end up a thief. If your Pastor is an
adulterer ---- ahhh--- get ready because there is something called transference
of spirit. Not only that - your
spiritual father can overrule your biological father. In 1 Sam.16:11 when Samuel
asked Jesse : Are these all your children? The way Jesse answered showed that he
didn't consider David fit to be a king but Samuel said, I know he's your son but
he's mine now and we will not sit down until you bring that boy. There might be
children here that your parents don't want you to be greater than them. I cancel
that decree today! (Amen!) Every one of you here today, you'll be greater than
your fathers in Jesus Name! (Amen!) Thank God for Jesus Christ. Alleluia!
Daddy says there is an average student here tonight. He said very soon you'll
become a star (Amen!)
The Lord said there's someone here tonight,
he said you have taken many wrong steps in life, from tonight He will
start afresh with you
The Lord said there's someone here tonight, , He said your tongue just seems
too be growing, keeps growing. That's like sickness you have, your tongue is
growing, growing. He said, check, your tongue has returned to normal.. (Amen!)
Ah! Thank You Father! Glory be to God! Glory be to God! I think the miracle
is to my left here. Thank You Father! Blessed be the Name of the Lord! Blessed
be the Name of the Lord! Thank You Lord! Thank You Father!
Now he said, I will send you to Jesse, the Bethlehemite, you know what that
one means? – the messenger of God is coming to a particular home tonight.
(Amen!) God knows your village. he knows where you come from. He knows your
street and He knows your house number.
Acts 9-11, the Bible says God told Ananias, I want you to go to a particular
town. When you get there ask for the street that is called Strait. When you get
there ask for the house of Judas. When you get to the house of Judas ask for
somebody called Saul, when they say which Saul, tell them it is the Saul that
was born in Tarsus… God is sending a miracle package tonight. He's telling the
angel: Go to Nigeria. when you get there ask for the Redemption Camp. When you
get to Redemption Camp ask for Adeboye. When they say, Which one? Say, the One
that is called Emisoren! The Almighty God! is sending a package to somebody here
tonight. That's why your miracle cannot miss the road. So Samuel is coming –
meaning what? It's a pity I can't finish that tonight because, you see, the fact
that Samuel is coming means 20 things
coming. There's no way I can finish all that but I will just mention maybe 2
things there. Then we'll pick it up later on….
Samuel is coming! He's not coming empty-handed He's coming with a horn full
of oil! Which means anointing is coming!

oil! Samuel is coming means anointing is coming! Anointing is coming to the horn
of someone tonight! (Amen!) It means the yokes in the life of somebody are about
to be destroyed. (Amen!) In Isaiah 10:27 the Bible says anointing destroys the
yoke. In Acts 3:1-8, which incidentally was what we discussed at Divine
Encounter on Monday, there was a man, for 40 years they had been putting him
down by the gate, the Beautiful gate of the temple to beg for alms. Then one day
the light went green. he saw two people passing by. He looked to them expecting
to receive alms but instead of giving him money….. the Bible says suddenly his
legs and his ankle bones received strength and he began walking and leaping and
dancing and praising God. Tonight in the life of somebody, there's going to be
walking… (Amen!) there's going to be leaping… (Amen!) there's going to be
dancing… (Amen!) there's going to be praising God… (Amen!) Samuel is coming.
Anointing is coming! Anointing is coming and pronouncement is coming. Alleluia!
Daddy says there is somebody here, what you are expecting has already
arrived! (Amen!)
Samuel is coming. Anointing is coming! Whenever He anoints, He always makes a
pronouncement: "Okay, now I have
anointed you from now on you are king!"
In the same manner when Peter came to that lame man he made a pronouncement: He
said, In the name of Jesus of Nazareth rise up and walk. And I'm saying to
somebody today, like I said on Monday. I'm saying to somebody here today – rise
up, walk! rise up, walk! rise out of sickness! Rise out of trouble! Rise out of
poverty! Rise out of sorrow! Rise in the mighty name of Jesus! Let somebody
shout 'Alleluia!' (Alleluia!) Put your hands together for the Almighty God!!
From today you will never sit in sickness again! (Amen!) You will never sit in
poverty again! (Amen!) You will never sit in sorrow again! (Amen!) You will
never sit in failure again! (Amen!) You will never sit in bondage again! (Amen!)
You will walk into health! (Amen!) You will walk into prosperity! (Amen!) You
will walk into progress! (Amen!) You will walk into miracles! (Amen!) You will
walk into freedom! (Amen!) You will walk into victory! (Amen!) You will walk
into joy! (Amen!) Let me hear somebody sout Alleluia! (Alleluia!) Go ahead make
a joyful noise unto the Lord. This is your day! This is your day! Thank You
Father! Blessed be the Name of the Lord! Glory be to God! Thank You Lord! Thank
You Lord! Thank You! for new anointing. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Even a dead man can feel the presence of God tonight. That's why I want to
appeal to those of you who are still living in sin – come to him come to God!
Sin doesn't pay. The devil has nothing good to offer you. Come and surrender
your life to Jesus. He is the Prince of Peace. He will give you peace. He said
come unto me all you that labour and are heavy-laden and I will give you rest.
Come to j. He will give you rest. He will give you peace. He will give you joy.
Let salvation come to your house today. Those of you who want to surrender your
life to Jesus come before I count to 10. Come and surrender your life to Him.

My Father and my God! I want to thank You for the power in the Word that has
brought salvation to these people. Accept our thanks in Jesus Name! (Amen!) Your
Word says No man can come unto me except
my Father draws him. Thank You for drawing these people. Thank You! that they
have not refused Your drawing. Accept our thanks in Jesus Name! (Amen!) Father
You promised that whoever would come unto You, You would in no wise cast out.
They've come to You now. Receive them in Jesus Name! (Amen!) Save their souls in
Jesus Name! (Amen!) Forgive all their sins in Jesus Name! (Amen!) Cleanse them
in Your Blood in Jesus Name! (Amen!) Write their names in the Book of Life in
Jesus Name! (Amen!) And today let
salvation enter into their lives (Amen!) From now on Father!, when they cry out
You, answer them! Thank You! In Jesus mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!) Praise
the Lord!
Now those of you who are in front alone Let me hear you say 'Amen!'
(Amen!) I want you to know that right
now there is rejoicing in heaven over
you. God is rejoicing because of you right now. And I want to promise you
by the grace of God, from tonight I will be praying for you. That is why I need
your names, your address and your prayer requests. Make sure the address is
correctly given because when I ask God to send your miracles it will be sent to
the address that you put down. So if you follow this brother who is waving a
piece of wood. He will lead you to where some Pastors are waiting and then they
will take this information and then they will bring you back quickly. So will
you begin to go now? Let's give the Lord a big round of applause……. give the
Lord a big round of applause!
…..Why don't you just lift your voice
and give Almighty God praise for the salvation of souls – let's just
thank God for salvation, that's the greatest of all miracles. Open your mouth
and thank the Almighty God for the souls that have been saved tonight! Let's
lift our voices to the Almighty God and praise Him. Go ahead praise Him, praise
the Almighty God!!
The Word of God says, as you have said in my ears so shall I do unto
you. So lift your hands and say, I shall
receive power…. or put it in a better way and say, I have received power! Say it
as if you mean it – power to deliver! power to set the captives free! So shall
it be in Jesus Name! (Amen!)
Several years ago I was in the city of Ilorin and for several months, my
plight when everyone is sleeping – I keep on crying to God, Father! give me
power, I don't want to be an ordinary Christian. Give me power to do your work.
Give me power. And then one night God spoke and said, "Shut up!" Even though
shut up wasn't a very good thing to hear, but I was happy. I was happy that at
long last He heard and is replying. God has heard somebody here tonight (Amen!)
I said God had heard somebody, I didn't say everybody, l I said, someone – who
is the someone? Let me hear you say 'Amen!' (Amen!)
He said the power that I've given you
what have you done with it? Which power? If I've got it I won't be asking for
it. And He said what is in Acts 1:8 "Ah, but you shall receive power after the
Holy Ghost is come upon you…." "Have you been baptised in the Holy Ghost?" I
said, "Yes!" Then you have received power. Thank You Lord, next time I see
somebody I'm going to lay hands the fellow and according to Your Word the fellow
is going to be healed! The very following day. There was somebody in my sitting
room. The child had been sick for 2 weeks. Had not slept for two weeks so the
doctor had sent the mother home and said there is nothing we can do. And a
member of the church told her: Bring the child to our Pastor, he will pray for
the child, the child will be healed.. I
don't know why he didn't pray for the
child himself. She came and said , This is why we have come. Something told me:
But you said the next fellow you see, you are going to lay hands ion them and
they will be healed. I said, That was last night. This is daylight, not night!
But there was no where to run to. The child was already waiting. So they handed
over the child to me and I began to pray and normally I pray with my eyes closed
and as I was praying, suddenly the child went limp. I said, ohhh, the child had
died but when I opened my eyes, the child was sleeping and that was the end of
the sickness. Glory be to God! for ever more! Why am I telling you this story?
Because when you leave here, every sick fellow you meet you will lay hands on
them (Amen!) and they will recover! I didn't hear your Amen. I know some of you
will say, "Me? Can that happen to me?" The answer is yes and it is going to
happen to you beginning from tonight. Let me hear your 'Amen!' (Amen!)
1 Samuel 16:1 God said to Samuel: Fill your horn with oil. Fill your horn
with oil. God could have said, to Samuel. I want to send you to the house of
Jesse to anoint me a new king there. There fore fill your horn with oil and go.
But instead God said, "Fill thy horn with oil and go, I will send you to Jesse.
How come God started the statement with 'Fill your horn with oil'? It is because
of something called the Law of Priority. The most important thing in a man's
heart is the first thing he will say when he speaks. The Bible says, Out of the
abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Whatever God considers the most
important that's what He will say first.
In the beginning before He began to create animals and birds and human beings
the first thing He said was – Let there be light. And I'm saying one more time
today, in the life of somebody, There will be light! I say that there will be
light. If you are the one that God has sent me to tonight, and the devil is
trying to cause you to doze, there shall be light! I say there shall be light.
And every force of darkness shall be dispelled in Jesus Name!. There is
something called the Law of Priority and that means what is Number 1? There has
to be number one before there is number two. Let me give you an illustration
very quickly. One day I came home from office. My wife was talking to a very
important person. And when I say very important I mean very, very important
person. But as soon as I came in my wife
told the very, very important person, Please excuse me. My husband has come. So
she left the very, very important person, to
come and attend to me, an ordinary Pastor. We greeted. We prayed
together. We settled the issue of what I will eat before she went back to the
very, very important person. Why? Because even though I'm an ordinary Pastor,
after God, I am the next one. as far as Mummy G is concerned. And as far as I'm
concerned. After God, Mummy G is next.
Was the very, very important person angry? No! As a matter of fact what
he said was that he wished his own wife
were there that day and see how a wife should give priority to the
husband. In every man's life there should be priority. There should be somebody
who is Number 1. who is your Number 1? I can't hear you! Jesus! say it loud and
clear! If you haven't put God as Number 1 you better do so tonight because like
I told you earlier, the horn may belong to Samuel but the oil belongs to God. If
God is not your Number 1 you can pour a gallon of oil on your head, nothing will
happen! If God is your Number 1 as the oil of anointing is touching your head
tonight you shall receive power. I didn't hear your 'Amen' to that.
But if God is your Number 1 then you have to treat him as Number 1. You must
not say God is my Number 1 by mouth only.
I have told you that this year by the grace of God, I am going to be coach. I
will tell you the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth! Before the
end of this year by the power in the name of Jesus, you will become commandos
for Jesus Christ! The devil will see you coming and the devil will run in Jesus
Name!
If God is your Number 1 then Proverbs 3:7-10 It said , Don't be wise in your
own eyes. You must know that God is wiser than you. it said you are to put your
trust in God. If God is your Number 1 it says you must honour Him. How do you
honour Him as Number 1? It said by honouring him with your first fruit. If He's
your Number 1 your first fruit must go to Him! If you treat Him as Number 1, it
said God will respond. It said there will be blessing that your home will not be
able to contain. There are people who want to prosper but they don't want to
follow the pathway of God. It's not going to work. It has to be according to the
basic principles of God. I ask you one more time – who is your Number 1? Say it
loud and clear! Honour Him with your first fruits and He said He will respond. I
have always settled the rest of the year by what I do at the beginning of the
year because I give God my first fruit. That's why for more than 30 years now, I
don’t spend for the doctor. And by the grace of God I'm not going to spend for
the doctor until I see Jesus. So shall it be for you in Jesus Name! (Amen!)
After God comes your family. After your family comes the church. After the
church whatever else you want can put down. Now when God said, Fill your horn
with oil, He's telling Samuel it is urgent, urgent that we start this story with
the anointing. Before I say go, go to the house of Jesse, before I tell you what
you are going to do there, Fill your horn with oil. Anointing is urgent – God
made it clear to me: You need to be anointed this year – urgently because
certain things are going to happen this year – good things for the anointed and
God have mercy on those who are not anointed!
I'll tell you another story. Tell your neighbour: I hope you are listening.
This is your night so I hope you are listening. Years ago, one of our Pastors
was pasturing in a town not far from here, a place that was noted for witchcraft
of the highest degree. Exactly - their
witches fly during daytime. I think you
know the place. The Pastor was there with his wife and one day God spoke to me
and said, "Son, ordain the wife of the Pastor and do it urgently." I said, "Yes
Lord." That's my first reaction "… but Lord this woman, everything I know about her, she does not qualify for ordination! Everything I've heard
about her! God said, "I know. Anoint her all the same. Not because of her but
because of you because the forces of darkness are closing in on her. They don't
want to kill her. They just want to run her mad. If the wife of your Pastor runs
mad, you will not be able to rest. Anoint her, to keep the forces of darkness
away." I don't know who God is talking to tonight but power is coming on you.
The forces of darkness will see you and they will run.
In Exodus 3:1-10 the fire burned first before God said to Moses, Go and face
Pharaoh. In Matthew 3:16-17 the Lord Jesus was baptized in the Holy Spirit first
before He went into the wilderness to go and face the devil. Power is coming on
you tonight and then whatever the enemy may want to try this year, the devil
would have lost the battle. (Amen!) And that's why the message that my
daughter brought you, saying that you
shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you, I'm believing God for
you that from now on your testimonies will be different. (Amen!) Your testimony
will be 2 types. You will be telling
about what God has done for you and you'll be telling about what God has done
through you because God will use you to heal, He will use you to deliver, He
will use you to set the captives free. (Amen!)
You say, Me? I told you that's how I began. I began to practice. I started
with my children. You shall lay hand n the sick and they shall recover. Whenever
any of my children had headache I would get – I don't know what they call those
things, whatever name they call it – I would get this thing ready. I think they
used to call it APC in those days. And then I would lay hand on the child: Be
healed in Jesus Name! and I'd be waiting to see if nothing happened, so I can
give him APC. That was the level of my faith then. But God met me at that level
of faith. Every time, it was either the child would fall asleep before I could give him APC or he will just run out
and begin to play football. And then I began to practice with my friends, those
who will not tell if I fail. Today by the grace of God, I can preach, I can lay
hands on anybody anywhere in the whole world. You will go home from here tonight
and begin to practice – you will lay hands on your children – they will be well!
You will lay hands on your co-workers – they will be well! By the time you come
back in March you will have wonderful testimonies. If you believe that say
'Amen' loud and clear! (Amen!)
The Lord said to Samuel, "Fill your horn" because as far as God us concerned
there is no half measures. His Name is Jehovah El-Shaddai, the God who is more
than enough! That's why David in Psalm 23:5 he said, Thou anointest my head with
oil. My cup runneth over. I don't know who God is going to anoint tonight with
overflowing oil but the cup of somebody is going to run over tonight in Jesus
Name! (Amen!)
Eph.3:20 says our God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we
ask or think………..there'll be this extra – 12
baskets extra that you are going to carry home tonight in Jesus Name!
(Amen!). When He entered into the boat of Peter, the Bible tells us that not
only was the boat of Peter full of fish but the boat of his neighbour was also
full of fish! Not only were the 2 boats full of fish they were sinking under the
weight of the fish! The kind of blessing that will cause you to say to God: This
is too much! is coming your way in Jesus Name! (Amen!)
In 2 Chronicles 20:20-25 after God gave victory to Jehoshaphat he still spent
3 days bringing in the wealth of the enemies! 3 days bring in the wealth of the
enemies! The wealth of your enemies will be transferred to you! (Amen!) And its
going to take you 3 days to bring them in. I used to say it, very few people
could take it, that a day is coming, at least one or two of my children, when
they take their money to the bank, the bank will close to other customers for 3
days because they need 3 days to count your money. How many people can receive
that one? We need that kind of blessing if we are to spread the gospel
throughout the world.
So Samuel was coming with horn full of oil. David was about to have a divine
encounter, a divine encounter of a lifetime. David was about to receive the
first dosage of anointing that was going to change him from being a shepherd boy
to becoming a king but not only that, that would keep on propelling him until he
would be called the father of the King of Kings. Let me show you a passage in
the Bible. Matthew 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of
David.. son of who? I can't hear you… No, finish it – the son of David, the son
of Abraham…..
Talking about priority again – do you notice that they mentioned the name of
David before they mentioned the name of Abraham! Why? Because David received the
anointing. The anointing catapulted him mightily that even Abraham had to take
second place. Many of you don't know what is about to happen to you tonight. And
let me tell you one thing. All those that think they had left you behind, you
are going to overtake them. I say you are going to overtake them. (Amen!)
An event was about to take place in Bethlehem. Samuel and David were about to
collide – in Bethlehem, something was going to happen in Bethlehem. The fact of
which is going to go down the ages. For years and years and years to come… even
until somebody will be crying on the road to Jericho – Jesus thou son of David
have mercy on me … because of what
happened in Bethlehem a blind man in Jericho, hundred of years later, got his
sight back. Because of what is going to happen tonight – for years to come the
power of God will still be flowing (Amen!) – it will be flowing in your blood,
flowing in the blood of your children, in the blood of your grandchildren and
great grandchildren. That is why I pity those who are not here tonight, it’s a
pity because what is happening here tonight cannot be duplicated. TG I am here.
If you are here and you are happy I think you should shout Alleluia!
I told those of you who were here in January, I say that I know many of you
think that March is the time for anointing, Special Holy Ghost service, oh yes
March is coming, something great is coming in March, something wonderful is
coming in March, something we've never seen before is coming in March…. but
tonight God is going to do something so that when you are coming in March you
will come with your head lifted high. (Amen!) You know in every man's life there
is a day that you will know that you know that you know that you are now a
victor. Tonight is that night! I say tonight is that night.
Anyway Samuel was coming. David was coming even though David didn't know what
was going to happen. He was busy in the bush, singing: the Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not want. He didn't know what was coming. Even Samuel didn't know who
exactly he was going to anoint. But then where did they meet, where exactly is
their meeting point? 1 Samuel 16:2-5 Samuel said to God: "You asked me to go to
Bethlehem to go and anoint a new king when Saul is still alive! God why don't
you just tell me it is time for me to die because when Saul hears about it he
will call me a coup-plotter. He will kill me!" God said, "There is a way round
that. Take a bullock. Go to Bethlehem. Tell them, I've come to worship the Lord
and then call Jesse and his sons to the sacrifice.|" The meeting didn't actually
take place in Jesse's house. It took place at the altar of sacrifice.
We will learn more about this thing as we go along because when Samuel
arrived in Bethlehem the Bible says the whole town trembled. One man came and
the whole city was trembling. That is what is called power – divine power and I
am decreeing for someone here today: when you come to your town, witches will
run, wizards will sleep, evil doers will tremble! And they asked Samuel – Have
you come in peace? Because we know if you have come in trouble then we are in
trouble. We know you are a destiny-changer. Have we offended God? Have you come
to pronounce a judgement on us? He said, No, no, no.. I've not come because of
you. I've come to worship God. I've brought my sacrifice with me and I want to
invite a particular family. so they met at the altar.
It is at the altar that destinies are changed. That is why I was teaching you
about the altar last month. If you were not here last month – get the tape. So
they met at the altar and things changed;
Changed completely; changed irrevocably. David became king, never to
become anything less than king again! Whoever you are that God is talking to,
the changes in your life tonight is going to be permanent. (Amen!) I said they
will be permanent. let me talk for another 2 minutes on the altar before we go
ahead.
How often can a man come to the altar? It is as often as you want to meet
with God. when you come to the altar He comes to meet you. As often as you want to discuss with God or
you want something from God, you go and meet Him at the altar. David said in
Psalm 27:4 He said, One thing do I desire of the Lord and one thing will I seek
after, I just want to sit down in His house permanently. I don't want to be
coming to the altar I want to stay there permanently! Why? Because He knew that
that was where his destiny was changed. And if you read 2 Sam6:12-13 the Bible
tells you that when they were bringing the ark of the covenant into the city of
David, as soon as those carrying the ark took 6 paces, David will say. "Stop, I
want to make another sacrifice!" Another 6 paces, David will say. "Stop, I want
to make another sacrifice!" Another 6 paces, "Stop, I want to make another
sacrifice!" When they finally took the ark into where it will stay : I want to
make another sacrifice! Those who know how to trade with God, they are altar people – constantly going to the altar,
bringing their sacrifice with them; knowing that God will never let them go back
empty-handed.
How often can I come to the altar? God said in His Word Deut.16:16-17 At
least three times a year you must come before him, come to the altar and He said, Don't come empty-handed. It's there
in Deuteronomy 16:16-17 - at least 3
times a year He expects you to come before Him at His altar bringing your
sacrifice with you and going back with what He has for you.
So Samuel came. when he got to the altar the man he was looking for was not
there. He thought it must be this tall boy, God said no. well if it is not
number one it must be the second fellow. God said no… until he got to the
seventh and God kept on saying no. So he turned to the man and said, I asked you
to bring your family. Are these all your sons. So he said, Well there remains
one but he doesn't qualify to be king. Check these seven again. The man of God
said, I've checked them and God has said no. That one that you say remains, go
and bring him. Let me tell you brethren. There is not a single one of you that
is here by accident tonight. You are here because God summoned you. some of you
may think you came for something else – no, you have come to keep an appointment
with destiny. Tonight the Almighty God! the One who controls the heaven and the
earth is going to do something in your life that you will never forget again.
stand on your feet and shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!)
There'll be a session of serious prayer later tonight but I don't want you to
pray that prayer before the oil has already reached your head. As the Pastors
begin to prepare the oil of anointing I want you to talk to God and say, Father,
don't let my head refuse your oil! Talk to the Almighty God!! Father!,
tonight don't let my head refuse Your
oil! Don't let my head refuse Your anointing! Talk to the Almighty, talk to Him
now! In Jesus mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!)
My Father and My God! Your Word says that whatever is not of faith is sin. We
approach Your altar in faith tonight that as this oil will touch our heads Your
power will come upon us (Amen!) Your anointing will come upon us (Amen!) Yokes
will be destroyed in our lives (Amen!) and we will go in turn and begin to
destroy yokes in the lives of others (Amen!) Father!, put Your seal on us and
let this day be a turning point for the better in all our lives in Jesus Name!
(Amen!) Thank You Father! In Jesus mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!) Amen!
Now we will be seated. The Pastors will spread all over the place as they
normally stand when they want to minister and then you will come in an orderly
fashion, row by row to be anointed. After the Pastors have finished with you, my
assistants will anoint the Pastors and then I will anoint my assistants and then
we will go and talk to God. In the meantime there'll be worship songs going on.
As soon as you are anointed, don't waste a minute, go back to your seat and
continue to talk to God. remember a day like this comes only once in a lifetime.
Don't waste a single minute of it. There must be no rushing. We will not stop
until we have anointing everybody. The senior Pastors are very many as you can
see so it is not going to take a long time. so you sit down until it is your
row's turn. So row by row we come – get anointed – back to our seats and
continue to pray until everybody had been anointed. so we'll have some music and
row one can become to come.#
The day that Saul was anointed he began to prophesy. for the next few minutes
you are going to prophesy to yourself,
to your family, to your business, to your town, your local area, your state,
your nation…. those of you yet to be anointed, come here now. If there's anyone
still left let them come, let them come, come this way …. Prophesy to yourself!
Say it loud and clear – that it's going to be well with me, I will prosper, I
will go from strength to strength, from glory to glory, from joy to joy. It's
going to be well with me, it will be well with my children, well with my family,
well with my wife, I will never know death again, I will never know sorrow
again. Come those of you are yet to be anointed, come this way come, come to the
back of the altar. If there's anyone left come to the back of the altar.
Prophesy for your family, prophesy to your child, prophesy to your state,
prophesy to your nation: no more tragedy, no more violence, no more sorrow, no
more problems – prophesy in the mighty Name of Jesus! that all will be well now
that whatever you touch will prosper, that
there'll be a way for me where there was no way before, the power of God
will work mightily in my life. every yoke in
my life, I destroy in Jesus Name! – go ahead, prophesy to yourself. As
you say it so shall it be. My joy will be full from now on. I will never know
sorrow again, sickness, disease will not knock at my gate – it is well with me
now. in the mighty Name of Jesus! I will be singing songs of victory, songs of
joy, songs of success, I will never know sorrow again, none of my family will
ever suffer again. None of my family will go to hell! Oh yes, they will all know
salvation. The Lord will save every member of my family! Every member of my town
shall be save! Nigeria shall be saved! Africa shall be saved! The world shall be
saved! there'll be no more barrenness, no more unfruitfulness; no more poverty,
no more sorrow, I prophesy in the mighty Name of Jesus! So shall it be. So shall
it be. Thank You Father! In Jesus mighty Name!
I hereby decree that every word you have uttered shall be granted in Jesus
Name! Every prophesy that had gone out of your mouth shall be fulfilled in Jesus
Name! (Amen!) It will be well with you. (Amen!) It will be well with your
family, (Amen!) it will be well with your states. (Amen!) It will be well with
your nations. (Amen!) It will be well with your churches. (Amen!) The anointing
of God in your life shall never run dry. So shall it be. So shall it be. So
shall it be. In Jesus mighty Name we have prayed! (Amen!) Let somebody shout
'Alleluia!' (Alleluia!) Put your hands together for the Lord Jesus Christ and
then you may be seated.
Now I'm surprised that there are some people yet to be anointed. Where were
you? Let them come, let them come, let them come please! don't stop them. Let
one or two Pastors please stay on at the back of the altar and attend to all
these people, I know there is quite a crowd. It's possible that while the whole
thing was going on some people were in
the dream land. And they woke up, they said, What happened? they said they've
anointed everybody. They said What! Now they are here. So Attend to all of them
now. Glory be to God!
…..You know once in a while when the Word of God is going out, somebody will
know , apart from everyone else that the word is directed towards him or her.
God had been speaking to someone again and again, since the beginning of this
evening session that you are the one I'm talking about. Who is that fellow by
the way? If you are the one let me hear you shout Alleluia! (Alleluia!). if you
are the one I believe you will want to
say thank you to Jesus so we will have our thanksgiving service. The ushers will
help us as we give our thanksgiving offering to the Lord. we will remain seated
and dance to the Lord as the band will give us some music to accompany giving
our thanksgiving offering.
