DIVINE REPOSITIONING 8th of December, 2023

DECEMBER HOLY GHOST CONGRESS SERVICE

THEME: DIVINE REPOSITIONING

8TH DECEMBER, 2023.

BY: PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE

Thank You Father.

Hallelujah

First of all, let me somebody shout hallelujah.

Several years ago, at least over thirty years ago, there was a wedding in one of our churches in Lagos,

They were in the vestry signing the register; the husband had sign, and the wife was about to sign, and then somebody called the husband – only himself heard the call - and he answered, and he dropped down and died.

So, there was confusion, there was fear, there was embarrassment;

Just like the testimony you heard yesterday, that there were christening a child and the mother suddenly died.

And so, in the vestry everybody was praying; five minutes, ten, twenty, thirty,

Then the lead Pastor remembered that I thought them something long ago that when prayers don’t work try praise.

So, they began to praise God.

So, the lead Pastor also ran into the church and told the people we are coming, we are coming, because by now everybody was wondering what are they signing.

And everybody began to worship God:

You are the King of kings, You are the Lord of lords, You are the Unchangeable changer, there is nothing You cannot do, …

And suddenly the groom sneezed, and said what am I doing on the floor?

And they said when you get up, we shall tell you.

Tonight, somebody is about to be repositioned from death to life; from sorrow to joy, from embarrassment to testimony.

If you are that fellow one; if you are that fellow, I want you praise God as if you don’t know any other things to do.

Praise Him as if your life depends on it; praise the Almighty God like you have never done before, because tonight He is about to reposition somebody. Praise Him.

Thank You Jesus. Blessed be Your name.

In Jesus mighty name we have worshipped.

Praise Him, Praise Him,

King of glory praise Him

Praise Jehovah, Hallelujah, Amen.

(Praise Him)

Praise Him, Praise Him,

King of glory praise Him

Praise Jehovah, Hallelujah, Amen.

(Amen)

Praise Him, Praise Him,

King of glory praise Him

Praise Jehovah, Hallelujah, Amen.

I will praise Him

King of glory praise Him

Praise Jehovah, Hallelujah, Amen.

Praise Him, Praise Him,

King of glory praise Him

Praise Jehovah, Hallelujah, Amen.

Let us praise Him

King of glory Praise Him

Praise Jehovah, Hallelujah, Amen

Thank You Father.

The Lord asked me tell somebody tonight, He said the storm is over.

Let us praise Him

King of glory Praise Him

Praise Jehovah Hallelujah, Amen

Praise Him, Praise Him,

King of glory praise Him

Praise Jehovah, Hallelujah, Amen.

I will praise Him

King of glory Praise Him,

Praise Jehovah Hallelujah, Amen

The Lord asked me to tell someone, help is coming rapidly your way.

Let us praise Him

King of glory Praise Him

Praise Jehovah, Hallelujah, Amen

I will praise Him

King of glory Praise Him

Praise Jehovah Hallelujah Amen.

Thank You Father.

The Lord asked me to tell somebody, He said you can sleep soundly now; He said because the enemy has lost interest in your case.

Thank You my Father, glory be to Your holy name. Thank You for Monday, thank You for Tuesday, thank You for Wednesday, thank You for yesterday, thank You for today, please accept our thanks in Jesus’ name.

Tonight, Father, do what only You can do. At the end of everything let Your name be magnified.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Well, let somebody shout hallelujah.

Shake hand with one or two people and tell him or her, brother/sister I love you but my miracle will come before yours tonight.

And then you may please be seated.

Glory be to God

1Samuel chapter 2 from verse 7 to 8:

The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them.

DIVINE REPOSITIONING

Position matters – position matters a lot.

The head is better than the tail.

That is while Deuteronomy 28 verse 13 says you shall be head and not the tail; you shall be above only and not beneath.

Position matters!

How important is it to be head?

You understand that by the fact that when they want your picture for your passport, all they want to see is the picture of your head, they don’t bother about the rest of the body.

That tells you how important the head is.

I am decreeing to everyone of you here today, young and old, in the Name that is above every other name, you shall be head.

To the first is better than to be last.

When the president is passing through, there is never anything called traffic jam, the road will be clear.

If a messenger is passing by, the story can be different.

When you read Genesis chapter 41, you can read it from verse 1 to 43 (Genesis 41 verse 1 to 4), it tells us the story of how Joseph overnight was repositioned, and he became prime minister.

The king said, that there will be an advance guard, when he is coming just bow down; clear the way for him.

As the One who sent me is alive, from now when you travel, angels will clear the way for you.

On the other hand, if you are an ordinary servant, instead of being the head you are the tail, you can even do something that is right and be punished for it.

Joseph was just a slave, what he did was right, and the wife of the master lied against him, and who is the master going to believe? His wife or ordinary slave?

That is while the fellow who was below ended up in prison.

From tonight onward, your position will be the one that the Almighty God will give unto you.

To let you how important position is, according to Amos chapter 3 verse 3, the Bible says only people of the same category can walk together – birds of the same feather flock together.

When the incurable is cured, the one who had being cured, will leave the company of the incurable.

John chapter 5 verse 1 to 14, the moment that the man at the pool of Bethesda got his healing, he left the company of the sick and never returned there.

In the Name that is above every other name, I am talking about the power of God, someone here will never sleep in a hospital bed again.

Position matters.

If someone is mad, is not likely to stay in the company of those who are sane; if he is truly mad, probably send him to an asylum.

But when the captive is set free, he will return to a different category of people.

In Daniel chapter 4, (you can read the whole story), when Nebuchadnezzar became mad, nobody told him to go and join the animal, he went voluntarily.

But when God had mercy on him and his senses were restored, he returned back to palace because position matters.

When a sinner is truly saved, if you are genuinely saved, you will always be in the company of those who are saved.

In Acts of the Apostles chapter 9, you read from verse 1 to 30, when Saul of Tarsus got saved, he looked for someone who will help him to join in company of Christians.

That is while the Bible says you cannot be unequally yoked with unbelievers.

Why?

Because position matters.

Now, it takes God to reposition somebody.

Will have dealt with many of these cases since on Monday.

It takes God to take you from the miry clay and put you on the rock to stay.

Just as the man who preached first had told you, you are struggling to free but you cannot do it on your own, Jesus can reposition you.

It takes the Almighty God to reposition from the valley of sorrow to the mountain top of praise.

We told you the story in Luke chapter 7 from verse 11 to 15,

Thank You Father.

The Lord said there is someone here, the only repositioning you are talking about is about marriage, Daddy asked me to tell you, you will be settled next year.

In Luke chapter 7 from verse 11 to 15, the widow of Nain was in the very valley of sorrow and God intervened, and moved her to someone who can wear the garment of praise for the rest of her life.

Allow me to prophesy once again, in the Name that is above every other name, there is somebody here who will never know sorrow again.

I am trying to move as quickly as possible.

It takes God to take the barren and reposition her to a level where she will have many children.

Like in the case of Hannah from 1Samuel chapter 2 verse 21, the one who had no child became the mother of six.

I thank God for all the testimonies of children born miraculously. Thank God for twins and triplets.

By this time next year in the mighty name of Jesus, there will be many more twins and many more triplets.

It takes God to reposition you from being pursued to become the one who is pursuing your pursuer.

Like we learnt yesterday, it takes God to reposition you from total failure to super success.

Like in the Acts of Apostles chapter 5…

Thank You Daddy.

The Lord asks me to tell somebody, you will never have cause to complain again. He said because I will surrender your life with wonders.

I think that should be me too, I better say amen to that.

In Acts of the Apostles chapter 5 from verse 14 to 15…

The Lord asks me to tell someone who will join me, that your breakthrough will be so big that you will be a blessing even to your enemies.

In Acts chapter 5 from verse 14 to 15, we read about Peter there, whose shadow was healing the sick.

But at the beginning Peter was a total failure; he was a man who fished all night and caught nothing, but God reposition, he became the talk of the town.

Now, how does God do reposition?

How come God can reposition anybody?

Because as we learnt on Wednesday…, and I thank God for the testimonies coming all over the world; …according to Jeremiah chapter 32 verse 27

Thank You.

The Lord asked me to tell you a story and then give you a word it.

Several years ago, I travelled to Korea to attend a ministers’ conference.

And I was about to sleep at night in the hotel and there was a phone call: is that Pastor Adeboye?

I said yes.

We have found your passport.

Haha!

I did not know my passport was missing.

My passport!

Then I quickly check and find out, hey!

The Lord asked me to tell somebody, your miracle will arrive before you know you need it.

Jeremial 32 verse 27, our God is the God of all flesh, nothing is too hard for Him.

And also, He is sovereign -

Psalm 115 verse 3 says our God is in heaven, He does as He pleases.

You know, He told us on Wednesday, He said, I will heal, who can stop Me?

The Sovereign One, is the original Majesty, and He is going to reposition somebody today whether your enemy like it or not.

Now, He is also the Lord of Host; like we learnt yesterday, there is no force anywhere that can stop Him.

So, that is while in the text that we read at the beginning, 1Samuel chapter 2 verse 7 to 8: He can raise up one and bring down another; He can pick up a beggar from the dunghill and keep on raising him until he seats among princes.

That while He is the One who can reposition.

So, the question now that came to my mind when He gave me the theme for this year congress, the question I asked:

I say, Daddy, You don’t have to answer me You know, but my Daddy, I am Your favorite son; why now?

Why is it now that You want to reposition some people?

And you know what He said,

Number one, I have decided to do a new thing.

You know the meaning of that?

Your life is about to take a new turn.

In Isaiah 43 verse 19,

Amen.

I say congratulation to this fellow because God says there is someone here today, in your family there will be no more waited lives.

Thank You Father.

Isaiah 43 verse 19 says I will do a new thing; He said will even make a way in the desert; rivers will begin to flow in the desert.

You know, it is in the time of hardship that is when God like to proves Himself.

I rejoice with those of you who are children of God, as God lives, you will soon be rejoicing.

And then, another question that you may want to ask, because when God is talking of repositioning…

First, as soon as I heard, I hope I am included?

It tells me the reason He is doing it now is because some people whose miracles can no longer wait.

A day too late, it will be too late.

And you know the story of the widow of Zarephath, in 1Kings chapter 17 verse 8 to 16, the help had not come at that crucial moment, it would have been too late.

That was while I rejoice when I heard God said that help rapid is coming rapidly towards someone.

And the Almighty God wants me to tell someone here tonight, concerning the miracle you are waiting for, no more waiting.

So, we come to the question, who needs repositioning?

Is anybody here today who wants God to reposition him?

You see, no matter where you are, God can take you higher still.

You remember story of David, he was a shepherd boy, God repositioned him and he was anointed king before his brethren.

Then, he was repositioned to the cave of Adullam and lot of people in distress gathered themselves together to him, the Bible says he became captain.

Then, he was repositioned higher, and he became the king of Judah.

And he was repositioned higher, and he became the king of Israel.

And he was repositioned higher and he became the father of the King of kings.

So, he does not matter how great you think you are, God can take you higher still.

By the time I see you January, you will not be where you are now.

You can go from sick to healed.

You can go from healed to whole.

You can move from whole to a healing vessel – healing others.

You can move from somebody who heals by touching and move on to level handkerchiefs will do the healing.

And you can move from that even to a stage where your shadow will be healing the sick.

You can move from destitute to comfortable.

You can move from comfortable to rich.

You can move from rich to wealthy.

You can move from wealthy to prosperous.

You can move from prosperous to flourishing.

In the Name that is above every other name, no matter how high you are today, God will reposition higher.

Now, so that we can have time to pray and go on to other things.

What will God require of me for me to be the one who will be reposition today?

God is sovereign, He does as He pleases, but He is not arbitrary; everything He does He does for a reason.

He looks at the heart; He knows your heart.

When God suddenly said in Genesis chapter 12 verse 1 to 3, Jesus said to Abraham, I AM going to bless you; I AM going to make you great; I AM going to make your name great; I AM going to turn you into a blessing,

I AM going curse those who curse you, I Am going to bless those who bless you; through you I AM going to bless the whole word.

What has Abraham done?

Why did God just pick him out of the crowd to reposition him?

Because God knew, the God who knows the end from the beginning, that one day, when I ask this same Abraham to give Me the only Isaac that he loves, he will not deny Me.

God knew in advance that Abraham is going to be His strength.

He knows you; He knows that if He prospers you, you will serve Him with the money.

Is that correct?

You did not answer me now.

He knows that if He promotes you, when you get to the position, you won’t forget Him.

He knows your end.

He knows tomorrow from even yesterday.

When He decided to change the position of David, He said I have found a man who will do My will

Acts chapter 13 from verse 21 to 22, God knows who will be grateful after he has been repositioned.

He knew what He was doing when He chose Solomon to be the king; He knew he will return to say thank You.

And not only does He choose people because of the intent of the heart, He also rewards those who are diligent.

Proverbs chapter 22 verse 29,

The Lord asks me to tell someone, you think you are already at the highest possible level you can ever be; the Lord Almighty God asked me to tell you, trust Me, and I will surprise you.

He rewards those who are diligent – seest thou a man diligent in his business, he will stand before kings and not before mean men.

Hebrews 11 verse 6, God says, He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek.

He knows your heart, He knows what you will do in the future, He knows you want to serve Him only that you don’t have the means; you don’t have the position and He wants to reposition you.

And of course, He answers prayer

Matthew chapter 7 from verse 7 to 8, He said in His word if you ask, you shall be given; if you seek, you will find; and if you knock, the door will be open unto you.

So, somebody is going to ask God tonight, Father, reposition me, and I will show You the kind of good boy/good girl I can be.

Thank You Father.

I think this most be me and I will tell you too.

The Lord says there is someone here tonight, He asked you to write it down, He said before the middle of next year, your cup will be running over.

Who will he reposition?

The one who has a correct heart, who is determined to serve God: Lord, reposition me and watch and see.

He is looking for those who will diligently seek Him; He is ready to reposition those who will be hardworking for Him.

You know, one of my daughters was sharing a testimony that if you knock at a door many will be open,

I am not saying thus saith the Lord now, I am just decreeing that because you are here tonight, you too will knock at one door and many will be open unto you

But that is going to mean hard work.

He is not going to reposition a lazy fellow because the lazy fellow will remain lazy.

A friend of mine was talking the other day, and he said there is a saying that power corrupt – absolute power corrupts absolutely.

He said he does not believe that, he said what power does is that if you are already corrupt, power gives you an opportunity to show.

You want God to reposition you and place you on a higher level, what are you going to do when you get there?

He answers prayer and He honours faith.

He said in Mark chapter 9 verse 23, He said only if you can believe, all things are possible to him that believe.

If you can believe that God will reposition you tonight, He will do it.

If you believe that the man talking to you now has not been lying;

By the grace of God from all the testimonies, people kept on saying, Daddy said, Daddy said, is not Daddy saying, Daddy is speaking what God had told him.

I thank God for the testimony of the man who said he heard that the blood has stopped…

How do I know that somebody is bleeding, but God knows, and He told me, and passed it through.

The same God told me that tonight, He will heal so many, it will be difficult to count them.

The same God told me that last month, you must pull down all walls, all mountains must come down to prepare the way for tonight.

The same God who when He speaks is done, is saying tonight, you cry to Him in faith, He will reposition you tonight.

Are you ready to pray.

From the way you answered, I can see that you are not ready.

Maybe I should ask you the question: when do you want to be repositioned?

At the crossover service in December 31st?

When are you ready to pray?

How are you going to pray?

Diligently.

Write down your prayer points:

When you are ready you will write down your prayer points.

Number one: you want thank Him that He made it possible for you to be here. Because by the time you are leaving this holy city, you will be a different person entirely. You just want to thank Him.

Number two: you will say Father, make me a healing vessel and I will heal the sick for you, free of charge. I am talking about healing and making me whole, I want to go beyond that, I want to be a healing vessel and I will heal people for You.

Number three: Father, let me flourish and I will be Your treasurer.

Number four: Father, promote me, and I will use the position to serve You.

Number five: Father, increase Your anointing upon me and I will rescue those who are perishing.

Number six: Father, give me all round repositioning and I will give You all the glory.

Number seven: is your own private prayer; maybe you want a particular section of your life where you want God to reposition you speedily.

The altar is open, come and pray with faith diligently, and within the next fifteen minutes, the Almighty God will do something you can’t even dream possible.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

And so shall it be.

God will grant your request. He will reposition you. He will give you all round repositioning, and when He has done it, you will not fail Him.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Amen.
