He is the Lord of Host; He has never lost a war; bless His holy name. Give Him glory, give Him honour, give Him adoration. Worship the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Unchangeable Changer; our great Defender, our Deliverer, our Protector, our Provider; the Fruitful Vine, let us bless His holy name. Let us give Him glory, let us give Him honour, let us give Him adoration. Thank You Father. Glory be to Your holy name Lord. Father we worship You. The Ancient of days we magnify Your holy name. I want you to lift your voice to the Almighty God loud and clear and say:Father, this very moment, do something in my life that I will never forget. Open your mouth and talk to the Almighty God. This very moment, do something in my life that I will never forget. Almighty God, right now as I stand before You, do something in my life that I will never forget; something miraculous, something divine, something only You can do, something I will never forget, do it in my life Lord and I will give You all the glory. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Tonight, in the life of everybody, do something new; please, do something special, do something unforgettable. By the time we leave here Lord God Almighty let us already begin to sing songs of victory. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen Well, let somebody shout hallelujah. Now, Psalm 30, reading from verse 1 to 5 (Psalm 30 verse 1 to 5): 1I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. (Anytime David wanted to talk about something very very serious, he will use the person language –he won’t say: here, he did not say ‘we will extol thee’; he said, ‘I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.’) (By tomorrow morning that will be your song) He said, 2 O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. 3 O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. 4 Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. 5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. In the Name that is above every other name today is the last time any of you will ever weep. Now, as usual now, before we go to the B part of the message tonight…; first of all let me thank the Almighty God for my son who brought the first message. Were you blessed by that message? Why don’t you shout a bid hallelujah to God. Before we proceed to the B part of the program I want to spend some time talking to those who are yet to surrender their life to Jesus so that they will not miss the blessings of tonight because miracles are for God’s children. War is not like a game of football. In football, you can win, you can loose and it can be a draw game. But in war, there is nothing called drawn – it either you win or you lose. And there is somebody here today who will never lose again. Now, nobody needs to begin to tell you that life is war; from the day you are born till the day go to see God in glory, it is warfare. The elder says that is why a child cries when he is born because somehow he suddenly realizes troubles begins. Life is war and in war you either win or you loses. How many winners are here tonight? Shout hallelujah. Now, in Psalm 35 verse 19, David prayed a prayer that is very very instructive: he said, let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me. Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully (take note of the word ‘enemies wrongfully’) rejoice over me. In order words, there are wrongful enemies, there are enemies who are your enemies because they just want to be your enemy not that you have offended them – there are wrongful enemies. But by implication, there are rightful enemies: there are enemies that have the right to be enemies. David said, I am not praying about those ones; I am praying about wrongful enemies. You see, there are three ways God can deal with any human being when we are talking about warfare: Number one) God can hand over somebody to enemies. You say what? O, O yes! If you read Judges Chapter 6 verse 1 to 5, the Bible says, Israel did evil in the sight of God and He handed them over to the midianites for seven years. When the enemies are enemies appointed by God, then, they are rightful enemies – enemies by divine appointment. And I have told you before, at least those of you who are a bit old in the Lord, if a demon stands before you and you command the demons to leave in the name of Jesus, it will leave because at the name of Jesus all knees must bow. But if it is an angel that God assigned to block your way and you say I command you this spirit whoever you are, move out of the way. He will ask you: in whose name? You say, in the name of Jesus. He will say, He is the One who asked me to stand here. When God hands over somebody to enemies, there is no amount of prayer you can pray, the enemies will prevail; and this happens when you refuse to do the will of God. Deuteronomy 28 verses 15 and 25, God saying, if you will not listen to Him; I you won’t do My will; He said, then, when you go against the enemy, you will be smitten before the enemies. You go against the enemy one way; you will flee seven ways – that is what God said. The first way God could relate to man spiritual wise – when we are talking about war – is that He can handover the fellow to the enemy. The second way He could treat or relate to a man in war time to remain neutral and let you fight the battle yourself and see if you can win. In order words, He won’t attack you but He won’t defend - you will see an example in Judges 16 verse 18 to 21. When the hair of the head of Samson had been cut off and the enemies moved in, God did nothing. It was not God who attacks Samson; it was not God who plucked out his eyes; God just remain neutral. Now, this happens whenever you fail to hid God’s warnings. Proverbs chapter 29 verse 1, the Bible says, he who is often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall perish suddenly and without remedy. So, when God keeps on warning you; hey, get away from a life of sin; come over to My side and you say, mind Your business. Well, He may decide to mind His business. And if He remains neutral in your case, then you are finished. I think I have told you before that my father told me that when a lion wakes up in the morning he prays only one prayer: God show me the animal I will eat today and leave the two of us alone - don’t help me, don’t help the animal, just show me - that is food for you and I will finish the rest. If a devil ever prays a prayer, thank God he won’t pray; but, if he ever prays a prayer, he will say, show me the fellow I will destroy today and leave the two of us alone. You see, the Almighty God said in Isaiah chapter 3 verses 10 and 11: He said, say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him. But then, He said, say ye to the wicked, woe to the wicked. If you refuse to come to the Almighty God; If you refuse to surrender your life to Him; If you are asking to mind His business while you are minding your own which some of my colleague used to say when I was in the University: Some of them will say there is no God; Some of them will say once upon a time there was God but is now dead. Some of them said, whether there is God or not, is none of my concern: He is in heaven, I am on earth; let Him mind his own business in heaven while I mind my own on earth. If you ask Him to mind His business, if He remains neutral, you are finished. On the other hand, God can defend, He can arise to defend and when God arise to defend you, haa! then the enemies are finished. He said in Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10 to 13, He said, don’t be afraid, I will help you. Tell the fellow next to you, God will help me. He said listen, I will strengthen you; I will help you: I will hold you by your right hand and say I will help you. You see, all those who are incensed against you, they would be as nothing. He said, you will even look at them and you won’t even find them. When God decide to help you, you cannot lose a battle. Like the special song we sang just some minutes ago, if you will help me, I cannot possibly fail. The Almighty God will help somebody here tonight. When He decides to help you the enemies are in trouble and this happen when you obey Him Deuteronomy 28 verses 1 and 7, He said, if you will hearken diligently to the voice of the Lord your God to observe and to do all His commandment which I command you this day; Oh, then, He said in verse 7, the enemies that come against you will be smitten before your face. You are not the one who will fight them; God said, leave Me to them, I will deal with them. He said, when they come against you one way, they will flee seven ways. But the promise is for the children of God. That promise is not for somebody who is living in sin. You cannot continue in sin and expect grace to abound; God forbid. So, from time to time I hear people singing: let God arise and His enemies will be scatter (according to Psalm 68 verse 1 to 3) If God arises, definitely, His enemies will scatter. But when I hear people singing the song, I tremble a little because some of the people who are singing the song are enemies of God themselves. And tonight before will call on the Almighty God to arise, because He is going to arise tonight, if you are not yet one of His children; if you are not yet born again; if you are not absolutely sure that your sins are already forgiven; if you have not repented from your evil ways, before we ask God to arise, you better come and surrender your life to Him. Come to Him in submission; let Him save your soul, let Him forgive your sins; become one of His children so that when He arises, it will be your enemy that will scatter not you. I am going to count from one to ten, if you know you want to surrender your life to Jesus Christ before I say ten, come and stand before me. The choice is yours: if you want to be on the side of God, come. If you want Him to be against you, it is up to you. I am counting now. One, two, three, And those of you in the old arena, you go to the altar; there are men of God there to attend to you. If you want to give your life to Jesus, just go towards the altar there, straight away. And those of you in the various viewing centres all over the world, go ahead, go to the altar before and the Almighty God will be there to attend to you also. And if you are watching us in the prison yard, just signify to the Almighty God even in the prison there that you are surrendering your life to Him and the prayer we are going to pray to God will touch you there and He will save your soul. If you are watching in the hospital, even on the hospital bed, if you lift your hands up and surrender to God, He will heal you as well as save your soul. So, if you are in any of the viewing centres, respond to this altar God and the prayer of salvation will avail for you. Four, And I have told you if you don’t want to clap don’t clap but if you want to clap do it very well. Whatever you do for God you do it with all your mind. Five, six, seven, eight, nine, Okay, those of you who are already in the front and those of you who are on the way begin to cry to Jesus Christ: tell Him I don’t want to be Your enemy anymore, I have come to surrender my life to You, please, save my soul, have mercy on me; I have surrender to You today Lord and I will serve you for the rest of my life. Talk to the Almighty God now. And the rest of us let us stretch our hands towards our new brothers and sisters. Father, have mercy on me, save my soul and I will serve forever. Thank You Father. Those of you on the way you have to hurry up now because I am about to pray. Let us intercede for these people for another thirty seconds and then we will pray. Thank You Lord. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Saviour we want to say thank You for Your word; we want to thank You for the people who heard the word and decided they want to surrender to You; please, they have come to You now, receive them in Jesus’ name. Whatever sins they have committed in the past my Father and my God forgive today in Jesus’ name. Let Your blood wipe away all their sins in Jesus’ name. I am praying that as You saved their souls today, You will please write their names in the Book of Life in Jesus’ name; and the grace for them to be steadfast, never to go back into a world of sins, please give to them in Jesus’ name. And from now on anytime they cry unto You please answer them by fire. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen. Those of you in front let me hear you shout hallelujah. Now, I am rejoicing with you because by the grace of God from now on I will be praying for you. So, I am going to need your names, your address and your prayer request. There are counselors around you, either in front of you or behind you, they will give you a card which I want you to fill very quickly and then you return it back to them. I promise you if you give me your names, give me your address, and your prayer request and I promise you I will be praying for you. We will wait for some few minutes to let you finish filling the card before we proceed further. Congratulations. God bless you. Thank you choir Now, in every war there is always a turning point- the turning point could be for the better in which case victory will soon come. If is it the other way, we know what that one means. For the Christian a turning point discerns that victory is near – it comes when you know that when you know that you know that only God can give you victory. Proverbs chapter 21 verse 31 says horses are prepared for the day of battle, but safety is of the Lord. You know that there is victory ahead, the moment you realize that you cannot win on your own, the moment you realize that the arm of flesh will fail you, that your wisdom will fail you, that your connections will fail you; that your wealth, your experience will fail you, the day you realize beyond any doubts that victory that one has come from God, the battle turns. The day you realize that God can defeat enemies on land (it does not matter how many they are)… Numbers 16 from verse 28 to 34 – when some people ganged up against Moses and God ask the ground to open its mouth and swallow them and that God is still here today. When you have enemies, some of them very highly placed; some of them have all the equipments to fight why you have none; …the moment you realize, no problem my God can fight enemies on land. And He can fight enemies at sea because according to Mark chapter 4 verse 41 the wind and the sea obey Him. So, if the enemy says he is a water spirit, he is maami-water, whatever, it does not matter; my God can defeat any enemy that is coming either by land or coming by sea. And He can defeat enemies coming in the air: According to Joshua chapter 10 verse 10 to 11- when enemies ganged up against Joshua and God began to rain bombs on the enemies, splitting their heads. The day you know my God can fight any enemy: Land, Sea or Air, the tiled begins to turn. As a result, when you know that it is God and God alone that can give me victory, when you have the opportunity to pray you will pray with all your heart. When you still think there is a way out, there is somebody I can contact, there is Lawyer who can help me; there is a Politician who could use is position, there is Businessman who could make money available; The moment you still think that victory can come through human sources the battle is still on. But the moment you take your eyes from everybody and focus on God in prayer, then you can say victory ahead. For example, Genesis 32 from verse 3 to 12, the Bible tells us: Jacob was going home and Esau is brother was coming to meet him with four hundred men and Jacob knew what that one meant; he means death is on the way because his brother swore the day he ran away from home. He said, no problem, one day I will see you; you stole my blessing; we will meet again. Jacob cried unto God, help me; have mercy on me, this man is coming to kill me. And then, from verse 24 to 29, what was an ordinary casual prayer became a wrestling match… You know I have seen the way many of us pray, we pray the prayer of the comfortable; we pray the prayer of those who say, well, if I pray and nothing happens, my Doctor is at home. But when you have to pray a prayer based on the fact the Doctor as said there is nothing more I can do, prayer becomes wrestling. Jacob cried to God – he wrestled with God all night. And by Genesis 33 verse 1 to 4, by following morning when he met Esau, instead of death, it was a warmed welcome. The brother ran, hugged him and both of them wept. Instead of death, there was life. Now, when you go to God in intense prayed, it is most likely that God will now speak to you because in that Genesis 32 verse 28, God spoke to Jacob and said, you have prevailed. In the name that is above every other name somebody will prevail tonight. When you pray earnestly; when you pray like a warrior not as a lady or gentleman as warrior, God will speak to you. Either He will speak to you directly or He will send His messenger to go and talk to you like in the case of Joshua Joshua chapter 5 verse 13 to 15 - Joshua stood by the wall of Jericho, how do I defeat this war? It look as if the end to my journey as come. Suddenly, a messenger came from the Almighty God who began to tell him what to do in Joshua chapter 6 verse 1 to 5. When you cry to God intensely He will speak to you through His prophet. Like in 2Kings chapter 7 verse 1 to 11, when the battle was intense, the siege was mighty, the man of God open his mouth and said, by this time of tomorrow, the siege will be over and it was over. You see, the Bible says in Psalm 107 verse 20, He said, He sent His word and heal them and deliver them from all their destructions. You see, the moment God speaks, then, you know the battle has turned. When I was preparing this lecture note, suddenly I remembered a story of a woman. I mean we went to hold, I think it was a Holy Ghost service, I think it was in Ibadan and then God told me there is someone in the crowd steam is always coming out of her head. And so when she is going anywhere she will first of all put a towel on her hair before putting hair jell and from time to time she will go to the toilet when the towel is wealth to go and ring out the water. And the word of God just came and says there is someone in the crowd; your head is always bringing forth steam but your head is dry now. And she knew she was the only one with that problem, she suddenly she saw that the water that was always dripping from the towel was gone. You have heard it again and again when the word of God would just come like that. Look at the testimony we heard, a couple who had been barren, was it 2004, she said and then the word came, someone here, nine month from now, set of twins; and somehow they knew it is me. When God speaks to you and you know the battle will soon be over. So, I am going to ask you to stand on your feet and the prayer you pray tonight should not be children prayers, it must be warriors’ prayer and lift your voice to the Almighty God loud and clear and say:Father, please speak to me tonight. Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God. Speak to me tonight; speak to me; speak to me tonight; it is me Lord, I want to hear your voice. Send Your word to me tonight; speak directly to me tonight. Speak to me tonight. Almighty God, please, speak to me tonight; speak to me tonight; speak to me, I want to hear, I want to hear directly from You tonight so that I will know my victory is near; speak to me directly, I will know victory is ahead. Speak to me directly O Lord and I will know that victory is ahead; speak to me Lord, let me hear Your voice; let me hear a word tonight that will turn a tile; speak to me tonight Lord and I will know is victory ahead, victory ahead. Speak to me Lord. Speak to me my Father and my God, let me hear from You, just one word that is mine, meant for me, specifically; speak to me tonight Lord and Your name will be glorified. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. So, for someone only one more cry is needed and victory will come. One more cry for help! In Exodus 14 verse 15 to 18, when Moses seems to be facing the biggest battle of his life: the sea befall, Pharaoh and his host behind, the children of Israel who were praising Moses just some moment ago were now casting him down; he cried to God. And God spoke: why are you crying to Me, this is what I wants you to do. You see, the moment God speaks the tile turns. In the case of Hannah, Hannah had been going to Shiloh for years but just one more cry – 1Samuel 1 verse 9 to 20. She had been praying before but that day she prayed not ordinary prayer – a kind of prayer that attracted attention of God. Some people say but she was praying silently. The Bible says her lips were moving and no sound was coming. And I understand that because God gave me illustration years ago: that when the pain is deep enough, it will be difficult to alter. God showed me an example: I was visiting a sister who just had a baby and they were going to circumcise the baby that day. He invited me, please we want to circumcise the baby; will you stand by and pray? I saw that little boy, when the midwife came, pull the first skin and cramp it, the baby began to cry; the mother try to pacify the baby, then, the midwife took a razor and cut the skin. Oh, the cry was not ordinary cry, and the mother try to pacify the baby by putting breast in his mouth and so on And then the midwife took iodine and apply it to the wound, the baby threw away the breast. The baby was crying but you cannot even hear the cry; you could just see the lips moving. That was the kind of prayer Hannah prayed and God spoke. There is a man called Jabez in 1Chronicles chapter 4 verse 10 – he prayed a prayer that change his life. A man whose name was sorrow, prayed a single prayer: he said, bless me O Lord; bless me indeed. Enlarge my coast; let Your hand be with me; keep me from evil; put an end to the sorrow in my life… And God granted his requests. All the years that has been one sorrow after the other, is name was even sorrow, but he cried to God. Bartimaeus cried to God in Mark chapter 10 verse 36 to 52. They told him to shut up, he kept on crying and just one more cry and Jesus heard and said, go and bring him. At the moment that he heard that God has spoken concerning him, he knew victory ahead. He threw away his garment, he knew he will not wear that garment of shame again. God still hear prayers – Psalm 65 verse 2 says He that heareth prayers unto thee shall flesh come. Not only those He still hear prayers, He still answers prayers – Jeremiah 33 verse 3, He says, call on Me and I will answer you. He did not say ‘I may’, He said, ‘I will’. And he still able to do all things – Ephesians 3 verse 20 says, He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all you can ask or think. He still hears, He still answers, He still able – so, the problem is not with God, the problem is with us – we are not praying enough. I told you of what happen when I first visited Korea for the first time 1985. I have been General Overseer for five years; the battle I was fighting was simply the church was not growing the way I expected. And because the church was not growing things remain hard in every area. Haa! God, you called me; I was minding my only business as a lecturer, You called me. I surrendered all to do Your will; the church is not growing. And then I heard about this man in South Korea that he has Conference: Church Growth Conference. I decided that I will go and God in His infinite mercy raised up somebody who paid my ticket – Korea is far. We got there; hey, we saw his church, big church; it can take about fifty thousand people; we attended the service and I heard him with my ears saying: those of you who have come to church today, this Sunday; please, don’t come next Sunday so that those who could not come in today will have a place to come in and he was holding seven services every Sunday. Haa! God, what am I going to do? The following day, they say we will go to his prayer mountain (he has a prayer mountain); we went to the prayer mountain. I knew why I came; I want the tile to turn in my favour and they have little little holes dug into the hill where people can crawl in and pray. I crawl into my own and I began to cry to God; I forgot myself completely; I knew why I came. The tile is going to turn for somebody today. By the time I realize what was happening two hours has gone. I came out and everybody had left expect my bus and the reason they did not go is because I was the only black fellow in the bus; so they knew somebody is missing. When I came, they said, what is wrong with you? I said, I thought we came here to pray? They said yes, are you going to pray everything in one day? They were angry with me which was very good because they did not talk to me all the way back because my heart was still raising, my spirit was still praying. Today, I can see the answer to my prayers. Stand on your feet; lift your voice to the Almighty God and say:Father, You must answer me today. Go ahead, cry to the Almighty God. Please answer me today; answer me today. O Daddy, answer me today I need victory; answer me today, answer me today, answer me today; O Lord, answer me today; hear my cry O Lord; hear my cry; answer me today Lord; answer me today concerning me, concerning my family, concerning my children, concerning my grandchildren, concerning the church of God, Lord, answer me today. Please, answer me today, hear my cry; Daddy, please, hear my cry. Answer me today; please, Daddy, answer me today. O Lord God Almighty, answer me today; King of glory, answer me today; answer me today. Answer me, answer me, please, Lord, answer me today; please answer me today; hear my cry; hear my cry Lord God Almighty concerning my nation; answer me today; hear my cry Lord God Almighty concerning the Redeemed Christian Church of God, answer me today. Hear my cry concerning the Adeboye family, answer me today. Hear my cry Lord God Almighty concerning myself, my wife, my children, my grandchildren, answer me today; answer me today; please Daddy, hear my cry and answer me today speedily; answer me by fire; answer me Lord. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. And so shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. But for someone, it might not even be one cry, it might be just one praise – it may be just one more prayer of praise. Because in 2Chronicles chapter 20 verse 20 to 25, when Jehoshaphat faced three mighty kings and there was no way he could win. God said, I have heard your cry, now all I want from you is praise and they began to sing and to praise God and God moved. I was practically dancing in my prayer room when Mummy G.O was asked to come and pray and she just spend some time singing and I said, this is usual: she has not seen my note; she did not know what I am going to talk about but the Spirit of God must have ministered to her. What somebody need for the tiles to turn is praise. You see, the Almighty God said in His word Psalm 67 verse 5 to 7, He said, let the people praise thee O Lord; let the people praise. Then the earth will yield an increase; and God, even our God shall bless us; and the world will be frightened. In Joshua chapter 6 verse 20, (you see this story – Joshua 6 verse 20) just one praise was what brought down the wall of Jericho – Just one! You see, in John chapter 4 verse 23 to 24, the Bible… Oh thank You Father. The Lord asks me to tell a woman out there, He said, that pregnancy will not abort. Thank You Father. He says there is someone here tonight, He said, you have been going from one debt to another, you just keep on borrowing, keep on borrowing, Daddy asked me to tell you, the spirit of indebtedness will be driving away from you tonight. So, in John chapter 4 verse 23 to 24, the Bible says God is a Spirit; they that worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth; and He wants such people to worship Him. He seeks for them. He loves those who will praise Him. So, when He sees somebody praising Him, He comes. Now, for God to come to any one because He is seated on His throne, to come to you somebody, He has to get up first and when God arises His enemies will scatter. Some of the older ones will remember the case of a woman at Ebute-metta; whatever she ate, she vomited and so she became as thin as a broom stick. Doctors have tried everything, it did not work; They did every x-ray, every -ray (whatever you call it), they could not see anything wrong; She just could not keep down the food. She came to Headquarters; all I said was let somebody shout hallelujah. As she wanted to shout, a worm came out of her. As she opened her mouth to shout, a worm jumped out – the worm that has been causing the problem; it is a demonic worm. Some people say they did not see it on x-ray. Demons do not appear on x-ray. I want you to stand on your feet and lift your voice to the Almighty God and say:Father, if nobody will praise You, I will praise You tonight. And then go ahead and begin to praise Him. Praise Him, He deserves it. The Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, the One who is, the One who was, the One who is to come, the Almighty God, I will praise You. Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of peace, I will praise You. O that I am still alive, I will praise You. Blessed be Your holy name. I will praise You forever and ever. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. May God accept your praise in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. Now, for someone: it is not just one more cry; is not just one more praise; it is just one more declaration – just one more declaration of your faith in God. The tiled turn for Job in Job chapter 19 verse 25 to 26; everything is look black, he has lose everything: lose his health, about to lose his wife – in fact the wife said curse God and die so that I can remarry; the friends who are supposed to comfort him came and started accusing him; he has practically lose everything. And he open his mouth and said, I know my Redeemer liveth. He said, it does not matter what is happening, my Redeemer is alive. From that moment the battle turned. Because he was not there when God and Satan were discussing about him: when Satan was saying to God, take away all his wealth, take away his children, take away his health, he will deny You. So, when the declaration came out of his mouth, God said, Satan, have you heard? He said, whatever I can do to make him know that I AM not a good God, I have done it; and listen to what he said: I declare my Redeemer liveth. In Daniel chapter 3 verse 6 to 18, the tile turned for Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego when the declared: our God who will we serve is able to deliver us and He will deliver us. And they said, if He chose not to deliver us will refuse to bow, we belong to God. That was when the battle turned. Some of you know my story, you know some of my testimonies; Before I met the Lord Jesus Christ I had three children all by cesarean operation and Doctor said for one reason or the other one born is bent somewhere my wife cannot deliver normally. Okay, after three cesarean we said enough is enough no more children. Then we became born again, one day I read Luke chapter 1 verse 37: for with God nothing shall be impossible. Haa! I said, it does not matter what the Doctor may say, it does not matter what science may say, with God nothing shall be impossible. Tell the fellow next to you, my own will not be impossible with God. So, I told my wife we are going to have another child; and this time only one Doctor, the Doctor Jesus; and she became pregnant and then the devil use every method to discourage us to go back to the Doctor, a cousin who had a big hospital, a specialist surgeon. He called me aside and said listen, my aburolisten, he was based in Kaduna, he said, don’t worry yourself, this things cannot be done. If the baby is very small and manages to escape because your wife has been sutured at a times inside, one of the womb there will break and she will bleed to death. He said, come. When he said that I said it is not written in the Bible. He said haa that is not what I am saying. He said come to Kaduna, we will do this thing carefully and then when she had recovered, you can come back to Lagos and say Jesus did it. I said, thank you brother. With God nothing shall be impossible. Then the time came for the delivery: first day she labored, no child; The midwife said, the child is ready is just that the opening is not there. Second day, nothing. Third day – I remember that third day, it was a Friday. I came from the University of Lagos to see whether she has deliver, they said not yet. Okay. I was leaving in Surulere; so I decided to go to Surulere to go and bring her food; I got to Idoterminus (I remembered it as if it is yesterday) and the devil came into my car…, I was my own driver then, so, I was alone in the car; …began to speak to me directly: Stupid man, you say you have PhD Mathematics but you are a fool. Your wife is going to die before tomorrow morning and you will see what the parents will do to you. Stupid man! And there is something called a holy anger, it rose down from within me and I said to the devil: listen Devil, if my wife dies before tomorrow morning I will ask my Father-in-the-Lord to please allow me to preach on Sunday and the first thing I will say when I get the microphone is that there is nothing that my God cannot do. As soon as I said that, the devil left and my car flooded with light. I knew Jesus came into the car; He did not say a word but felt His presence and I knew the tiled has turned. When I got home and my older children say, daddy has mummy delivered? I said, not yet; by the time I come tomorrow morning I will bring you good news. I returned to Ebute-metta, I got there; I wanted to go into the maternity, they said no, wait in the car. Haa, okay. Few minutes later, I heard a cry of a baby. Stand on your feet, lift your voice to the Almighty God and say:Father, I hereby declare my own will not be impossible with you. Go ahead, declare it let Him hear; let the devil hear. I hereby declare, Almighty God I hereby declare my own will not be impossible with you. I hereby declare my Father and my God my own will not be impossible with God. You will prove Yourself again in my life and with You all things are possible, you will prove Yourself again, my own will not be impossible with You. You will prove Yourself again in my life. You will prove Yourself again in my life. I hereby declare my Lord and my Saviour, my own will not impossible with You because I know with You all things are possible; with You all things are possible; with You all things are possible, You are the God of all flesh, there is nothing too hard for You, my Lord and my Saviour, my own will not be impossible with You; I declare Daddy, let the devil hear me, let the whole world hear, my own will not be impossible with God. Thank You Father. Thank You Saviour. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. And so shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. For someone, what remains for the battle to turn in your favour is one more action - one more act of faith. In Mark chapter 2 verse 1 to 12, Thank You Father. I want to say amen to this before I tell you. Lord said there is someone here today, He says you will never go lower than you are now. Thank You Daddy. Daddy ask me to tell someone, I don’t know whether the fellow is here or listening somewhere, anywhere in the world; but the Lord asks me to tell that fellow, He said, I will change your darkness to light. Okay, thank You Daddy. Daddy ask me to tell someone and He said, if you serve me better, I will reward you with long life. In Mark chapter 2 verse 1 to 12, when those boys brought their friend who was paralyzed neck downward to Jesus and they found out that there was no room at the door to get to where Jesus was. They did one thing extra: they claimed the roof, toil it open – it was an act of faith; and roll down there friend They carried the boy in; he walk back home. You know when you study that story very well you will discover that they did not even tell us who repair the roof. In Mark chapter 5 verse 25 to 34, that woman said, the woman with the issue of blood, if I can just touch the hem of his garment, I know I will be made whole - Act of faith. She did and she got her miracle. In 2Kings chapter 4 verse 1 to 7, when that widow heavily indebted came to Elisha, say, creditors have come to talk away my children and Elisha say go and borrow empty vessels, plenty; and that little bottle of oil that you say is left in the house begin to pour it out. It is an act of faith. How do I pour oil in a little bottle into all these empty vessels? She acted by faith and God responded. In 2Kings chapter 5 verse 1 to 14, when Elisha told Naaman to go and watch in river Jordan, deep yourself seven times. He deeped himself first time, came out a leper. Second time, he was still a leper. Sixth time, he was still a leper. One more act, if he had come out of Jordan after the sixth day, he would have dead a leper. Just one more, when the seven times came, he was out with a brand new skin. Act of faith – one act of faith. I just returned from United Kingdom, we went to hold Holy Ghost service and there was a meeting before with someone we called partners, and one lady gave a testimony: The year before we held the meeting and I told them, I am sorry, I cannot shake hands with all of you but this altar that I had been standing on is already anointed; I said come, touch the altar and go and take part of the anointing with you. And there was this lady there, she believed but to some people the altar still look the same. For her, the servant of God said, the altar is now anointed and she came to the altar and touch the altar and when home. Her husband was dying at home and she laid her hand on him, I have touched the anointed altar there is anointing in my hand and the husband fainted. Haa, I thought he was going to be healed. So, she called the ambulance. Fifty minutes later the ambulance came and they check the husband from head to toe and say, why did you called us? She said, what do you mean? Why do I call you? My husband was dying. They said, this man! There is nothing wrong with him, he is completely whole. I am going to ask you to do something interesting tonight as an act of faith. Where you are seated is already anointed. I want you to demonstrate the faith of a child…, you know again and again, God has asked me to do childish things and the results have been tremendous. It does not matter; I know there are some people listening all over, particularly in Nigeria now getting ready to write in the newspaper tomorrow; let them talk about me as long as we continue to get the miracles, it is okay. I want you touch the floor where you are now and then stand on your feet, loud and clear and say: Father, I raise this hand to You, it will be a hand of victory. Go ahead talk to the Almighty God. From this moment onward, this is a hand of victory Lord, hand of victory; hand of victory. From this moment onward Lord, these are hands of victory lifted up to You in prayer. I believe yes Lord I believe these hands are hands of victory. Blessed be Your holy name. Lifted to You now are hands of blessing from this moment onward; hands of victory are raised unto You Lord is these hands of victory Lord. O yes I believe Lord, from now on is hand of victory; hands of victory, from now on I will constantly raise my hands in victory. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Wave those victorious hands and shout a big hallelujah. Thank You Father. Amen. Now, before you seat down, touch your own head; let your own head be the first to taste the victory; let your head taste the victory; And from now it will be victory for you in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. For someone, what God is waiting for is one more act of obedience – just one more act of obedience. Thank You Father. I need to tell you a story. A man and his wife came to church at Ebute-metta several years ago and after some time only the husband was coming we could not see the wife. So, we decided to follow up. Sister, why are we not seeing you church; did somebody offend you? She said no. She said, since I started attending your church I could no longer fly at night. The Lord asks me to tell someone here tonight, from this moment onward, every witch in your family will not be able to fly again. And believe it or not, I say amen to that also. One more act of obedience. My son mentioned the case of the widow of Zarephath when he was preaching in 1Kings 17 verse verse 8 to 16. That widow and her son would have died of hunger but she just obeyed the man of God who said, I know you say you have only one meal left but do my own first. She obeyed. And why others were dying of hunger, she and her son were getting fat because they get constant supply. In Luke chapter 5 verse 1 to 7, Peter told Jesus I have fished all night and caught nothing but at Your word I will make just one more try – just one more; and you know the result. For some of us, what God is waiting for is for us to win just one extra soul. John 15 verse 16, He said, you have not chosen Me, I have chosen you that you should go, bring forth fruit and let your fruit abide. Just one more soul then whatsoever you ask will be giving you. Just one more soul; one more act of obedience. I know one of my daughters always praying God give me husband I want to marry. And God was saying quietly your husband is still in the world, not among the brethren, win souls. And she went to…, she is highly educated; …so, she went to a conference, highly educated people and why they were discussing this, discussing that, she just decided I am a soul winner So, she preach to somebody who gave his life to Jesus and then couple of months later and the same fellow came and then said, thus saith the Lord, you are my wife. One act of obedience I told you when we are building the first auditorium the one by the express way and it was time for roofing and the roofing was going to cost seventeen thousand naira (naira was powerful in those days and naira will be powerful again in Jesus’ name.) Mighty auditorium, one meters by fifty meters and we want to roof it with seventeen thousand naira – powerful naira. The tile will turn for the naira tonight. Because all those who are deliberately devaluing the naira as my God lives they will be arrested. And then, as one of my sons who was an area Pastor, in those days we had only area Pastors; and each was supposed to build a dormitory for the people who will come to the convention; we were talking about way back in 1983. To roof his own dormitory will cost one thousand naira to he came to me and I had only one thousand naira, I was praying for the remaining sixteen. And this fellow came and say Daddy please give me one thousand naira I want to roof my dormitory. I told him if you don’t get out of my office – I am looking for seventeen; you are looking for one. He saw the way I spoke and he ran because he has never seen me like that before. And God spoke to me, give him the money. If I did not know the voice of God, I will have said, get thee behind me Satan. I need sixteen extra; you want me to give the only one I have! Anyway, He is my Commander-in-chief, so, I called him back and I gave the one thousand; and I saw him galloping away in joy. I said, it is not your fault, your problem is solved; it is me that I am back to square one. And God spoke to me, what are you grumbling about? There were two problems, I used you to solve one; it is only one problem remaining. Miracles answer by turn – I wish it was my problem that was solved so that the other fellow… That day before the sun set a sister collected her rent in Port-Harcourt and God told her don’t wait, go to the camp and go and give the money to my son; and it was exactly seventeen thousand naira. The word of God says, if you will hearken diligently to the voice of the Lord your God; to observe and to do all that He commands you. He said, He will solve your financial problems; He said, you won’t even borrow you will be lending to nations. He said, He will solve your promotional problems. He said you will be head, you won’t be tail. Stand on your feet and cry to the Almighty God and say:Father, I will obey, please open the door to my victory. Open your mouth and cry to Him. I will obey You Lord from now on I will obey You completely; I will win souls, I will follow them up, I will give, I will tithe, I will honour Your with my first fruit, I will obey, please, open the door to my victory. I will obey, I will obey, I promise You Lord from now on I will obey, hundred percent I will obey, open the door to my victory; open the door to my victory. Thank You Father. Open the door to my victory. I will be totally obedient Lord, please open the door to my victory; I will obey; I will obey. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Finally, Please be seated. Amen. Somebody is praying there and say God will bless me; so I said amen. For your information He has blessed me, He will bless me more because I will keep on obeying Him. Thank You Father. Amen. Daddy asks me to tell someone, He said I breathe on the red sea and it parted, He said I will breathe in your favour. O Daddy, thank You. He asks me to tell someone, He said those who doubt your blessing, will see it but will not partake of it. I feel like dancing tonight. Amen and amen because I believe God is talking to me now. You know I joined you when you were praying that God will speak to me too. He said there is someone here tonight, He said I AM the Burden Bearer I will carry you and your burdens. Now, for someone…, please listen carefully; …for someone the only thing remaining for the tile to turn in your favour is one more restitution. In Joshua chapter 7 verse 1 to 12, Oh thank You Father. Daddy asks me to tell someone, He said, the door is opening already. In Joshua chapter 7 verse 1 to 12, when Joshua after the victory at Jericho suddenly was defeated at Ai, he fell on his face and began to cry to God: what is all this? You promised me Lord that nobody will be able to withstand me all the days of my life. What is all this? God said, yes I promised. Haa! But Joshua said that it is written You will never lie – Numbers 23 verse 19. I was around when You told Moses, I AM not a man that should lie. And God said yes I don’t lie. But You told me I will never fail again now I am failing. And God said yes; I told you I will be with you but two cannot walk together except they be agreed (Amos chapter 3 verse 3). And I AM a holy God, (1Peter chapter 1 verse 15 and 16), be holy for I AM holy. Joshua, the reason you are running from your enemy now is because there is sin in your camp. If you want Me to continue with you, you have to remove the sin from the camp or else you are on your own. Many at times will pray and nothing seems to happen. We ask mountains to move; instead of the mountains moving they get bigger. What is happening? We come to Holy Ghost service we hear the word of God, we hear the prophecy that we know is our own; we will go rejoicing and we return next month only to see that nothing has happen. What is going on! And then we hear the testimonies of others who were around, who heard the same word of prophesy, who claimed the same word of prophesy and they return to testify. Why is my own like this? Maybe there is restitution – maybe there is something wrong you did you have to put right. Don’t believe those people who tell you that once you are born again you can go on sinning. That is not true. My God is holy. Galatians chapter 2 verse 17 made clear: Jesus is not the minister of sin; He is a Holy God. Some of you remember; I can tell you several stories; maybe just one I will remind you. I was a Lecturer at the University of Lagos and one of my students had this very terrible problem and that is body odour. He keeps sweating and the sweat will smell; he was smelling like a dead body. So if you seats by his side within five minutes you will relocate because you won’t be able to bear the smell. Doctors have recommended everything: soap, ointment, injections; no, the boy kept on sweating and smelling. And then he came to me; Sir, I know you are a man of God; this is my problem, pray for me. And I was going to pray and God said don’t pray yet, He has some restitution to make. I looked at him, this is a small boy; he has not married yet, so, what restitution are we talking about. And then God began to guide me and we discover: He was a teacher in a primary school before he came to the University and the children there were contributing some money for Christmas party – each was contributing a penny each (if you don’t know what a penny is no problem but that tiny amount of money). And then this man gained admission into the University in September and left with money. So the children resumed after long holiday to discover that their teacher had left with their money and they reported him to God. God you know where our teacher is oo; he ran away with our money. Be careful; do not offend children because their angels go straight to God. That was when the fellow began to sweat. I said do you know the amount? He said yes. I want you to go back to that school, instead of every penny, give them one shilling. If you don’t know what one shilling is, don’t worry, it does not matter; but a shilling is bigger than a penny. So he went to the school, as soon as he got there the children saw him and they ran out: hey, our teacher as come. He said do you remember the money you were contribution? They said, haa, we remember. He said, how much? They told him. Instead of a penny he gave each one a shilling and then came back and I have restituted my ways. I said, okay, let us pray. God said, there is no need; He has removed the obstruction to his victory. Tell him not to drink iced water for two weeks. Haa! Iced water! How can an iced water caused body odour? Well, that was what Daddy said. So, I told him, sir, Daddy said no need to pray; stop drinking iced water for two weeks since you have restituted your ways and that was the end of the problem. I want you to think very deeply, there is something you deed that you need to restitute. Because before you return in December you must be singing songs of victory. Stand on your feet and lift your voice to the Almighty God loud and clear and say:Father, give me the grace to fully restitute my ways. Go ahead talk to God. Remind of anything I need to restitute and give me the grace to fully restitute my ways, give me the grace to fully restitute my way; give me the grace to fully restitute my ways. Whatever I have done wrong, anyone I have cheated, anyone I have robed, whatever I have stolen, give me the grace to fully restitute my ways, give me the grace to fully restitute my ways so that the obstructions to my victory can be gone. Give me the grace to fully restitute my ways. Give me the grace to fully restitute my ways. Thank You Father. Give me the grace to fully restitute my ways. Whatever is still blocking the way of my victory, remind O Lord and give me the grace to fully restitute my ways, I must sing a song of victory; I must sing the song of victory. Everything I need to restitute Father, please remind me and give me the grace to fully restitute my ways. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated, let me conclude. We are trying to finish early because we have another meeting later on. The text that I read at the beginning Psalm 30 verse 5 says, weeping may endure for a night, joy cometh when? Do you know it was at night when Jacob wrestled with God in prayer? It was at night. It was at night when Moses cried to God and with boldness he was able to say to the children of Israel: the enemies you have seen today, you will never see them again, forever. And then by the morning things have changed. The tiled is about to turn for someone tonight. But I am going to give you fifteen minutes only for you and your God, alone with your God to sought things out; to wrestle out; to pray out. I wish it were another night when I don’t have another meeting, it would have been one hour; but fifteen minutes make it intense. The altar is open, you can come; and if you want to kneel down, kneel; if you want to lie on your face; if you want to stand, stand; but for the next fifteen minutes is you and God now; He is here tonight you are to come and talk to Him; tell Him: what are the battles you are fighting; where you need victory; don’t listen to anybody else – you and Him; discuss it with Him now. Talk to the Almighty God. You have fifteen minutes and just talk to Him. Tell Him, I don’t want to tell you how to pray, you know your problems, you know the battles you are fighting, you know the war you are facing; talk to Him now; talk to Him now; for fifteen minutes tell the Almighty God, the altar is open; the altar is anointed; if you want you want to remain on your seated, it is okay, He will hear you but if you want to come to the altar feel free for the next fifteen minutes; just talk to the Almighty God; Lord, this night is my night, the tile must turn for me tonight; my weeping must end tonight, by tomorrow morning my joy must come; my joy must come. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. The Lord of host will answer your prayers. He will fight your battles for you. The door to your victory that is already opening will open wide. You will never know defeat again. The One who have promised will change your darkness to light. Even before the sun rises you will be singing songs of victory. So shall it be.
